Then, we again look in on Shinji Ikari: holder of the title of Tokyo-3's biggest sad-sack. That is, until a mysterious, strange-looking car passing by drops a box of LP's right next to him while he's walking home from school one day. Suddenly, his outlook begins to change after listening to the sounds of the fab four contained on those records...No, not THAT fab four, the one that was originally made-for-TV...Will they help brighten his disposition? Well, if they're not enough, maybe his newfound guardian angel, the spirit of Davy Jones himself, can help the Third Child become a daydream believer. Finally, our focus will fall on Rei Ayanami: a girl with little to no passions in life, guided only by one single purpose instilled in her by a broken man. Or, that would be the case, if she hadn't returned to her apartment one day to find a certain musical instrument and a stack of music-and-lyrics sheets waiting for her, inspiring a great amount of Pandora-like curiosity as she soon seeks to master the instrument and the songs for herself...Where will her destiny take her after she starts to look at the world accordion to one Alfred Matthew Yankovic? Who knows? Maybe she'll discover what it means to have fun and be funny, and if nothing else, become even more of a weirdo, in "Super-Wackos of EVA: NERV Gets Weird"! Narrated by Dr. Demento!
