Their journey was nearly over. Rayla and Calum, along with Zym, had finally reached the Storm Spire.

Getting to where they are now was a little tricky. After leaving the silvergrove, they ran into a skywing elf named Nyx, who at first was just serving as their guide through the midnight desert. Things became more complicated. Nyx stole Zym in the middle of the night, intending to take him to his mother to take credit for his return.

They managed to catch up with the skywing elf, only for Rayla to have to save her From a group of soulfang Serpents.

"It's amazing looking," Callum marvelled as he looked up at the mountain that sat atop the Stormspire.

Rayla had to agree to Callum's viewpoint before she could do so. A whine from Zym interrupted her.

Hey, what's wrong," Rayla asked the baby dragon, who was still making little whining noise.

"I think I know what's wrong," Callum replied, pointing to something.

It seems like normal status at first glance. However, Rayla realized quickly that it was the frozen body of the dead Avizandum.

"I can't believe Lord Viren did this," Callum said in shock. The truth is that Callum didn't feel sorry about Avizandum's death, something he would never say out loud. It was he who had killed his mother. However, the sight of his body laying there was still a difficult one to bear.

Rayla responded, "Alright. I'll take Zym back to his mother," Callum and Zym followed closely behind.

"This will take too long," Ezran sign out. He and Soren had just left the castle. They were making good timing trying to catch up to Callum and Rayla before Viren could get them.

Soren replied, "I know, but we can only go so fast.". They were riding together on a horse. Horses usually go faster; only Ezran did not know how to ride by himself yet. Meaning Soren was limited in speed in order not to cause Ezran to fall off the horse.

Ezra didn't fully know why but he could somehow feel that Zym was upset about something. He always had a special connection to the animal; it was why he and Bait were so close.

"I might be able to assist you," said a voice. As Ezran turned to see who it was, he realized it was Lujane and Phoe-Phoe.

As Ezran jumped off the horse to go visit another new elf friend, Lujane, he called out, "you're here!".

"How many of these elves are you friends with?" Soren asked half-jokingly, half-seriously.

"Right, Soren, this is Lujane, in charge of the moon nexus, and this is Phoe Phoe, a moon phoenix." Ezran introduced Soren to the Moonshadow elf and the phoenix. "Lujan and Phoe-Phoe, this is Soren. He is a member of the royal guards, and he is also helping me reach Xaida."

"Good to meet you, Soren," Lujane said as she extended her hand for the knight to shake.

"Same here," Soren answer shaking her hand

"What are you doing here?" Ezran asked. That's not to say he wasn't happy to see Lujanne again. On the contrary, he just needed to get back to his brother.

"Word of the dragon prince's return has spread throughout Xadia. There have also been reports of a rapidly approaching army," Lujane explained.

"It must be my father," Soren said, looking down in sadness.

Ezran exclaimed in panic, "I need to hurry. Callum, Rayla, and Zym are in trouble." Sure, he knew that Viren was coming, but he had no idea about this so-called army he would bring.

Only Ezran could hear Phoe-Phoe speaking to him. "Phoe-Phoe is willing to give me a ride."

"That's why I brought her here," Lujane said. Ezran prepared to go on the moon, phoenix. He realized Phoe-Phoe might not like Soren riding her in all his armour. "But what about Soren"

"Don't worry about me. I'll try to get Claudia to join us," Soren explained. Claudia was still his sister, and he needed to try at least. Of course, some part of him already knew that nothing had changed, but he had to try.

"And was going to explore Katolis," Lujane smiled. She tends to cast an illusion spell given her the appearance of a human "Tada."

Ezran and Phoe-Phoe took off into the sky. Soren rode off to go and find his Sister And Lujane head into Katolis on foot.

Zym happily jumped up the stairs in front of them. As they continued to climb the Storm spires, the group was making good progress.

"It's getting pretty difficult to breathe," Callum said, panting and placing his hand against the mountain wall.

"The altitude is getting too high," Rayla replied, also beginning to pant.

Despite being almost out of breath, they pressed on, following the baby dragon up the mountain.

Eventually, the lack of air became too much for them to handle. Callum and Rayla both collapsed to the ground.

Callum said, almost out of breath, "Rayla, there's something I want to tell you.".

Cal, what is it," Rayla enquired. As well as that, she should express how she truly feels for him.

Right Before, Callum could tell Rayla that he loved her. But, then, the sound of a dragon flapping its wing in front of them, with Ezran on its back, cut them off.

A little over an hour after Ezran and Phoe-Phoe took off, they reached the bottom of the Storm Spire. But, unfortunately, Phoe-Phoe had gotten too far from the Moon Nexus.

Grabbing the feather of what was once the Moon Phoenix, Ezran said, "Thank you, Phoe-Phoe, and I'm sorry."

Ezran makes his way up the mountain in the same manner as his older brother. Also, he began to run out of breath. Zym Ezran fell only a few feet from the rest of the team.

Almost out of breath, Ezran looked up to see the dragon that they had rescued earlier.

"I know you, Pyrrah," Ezran whispered, looking up at the dragon.

The young prince listens to how Pyrrah described how she knew a spell that would allow them to breathe with a low oxygen level. However, they have to find Callum first before the spell can catch hold of him. So, very weekly, Ezran came back to Pyrrah. Rayla and Callum lay on the ground as they flew together to meet them.

"Ez," Callum asked weakly before looking down to see Pyrrah using her claws to draw some ruins in the dirt.

"Ventus Spiralis," Callum exclaimed, casting the spell. With that, oxygen-filled the lungs of all those who need it.

"Hey, I can breath again," Rayla cheered, standing up seeing Ezran get off the Pyrrah back with the dragon taking off again.

"What are you doing here Ez, I thought you went home so King Harrow would not worry about you anymore," Callum asked his brother.

Ezran exhaled deeply as he explained what had happened. "I got back to the castle and told Dad every about you and Dad arrest Viren, Only for Viren to escape out of jail So dad let me and at first Soren but ridding on a horse was taking too long. We then ran into Lujane, who let me fly here on Phoe-Phoe, who is no longer here, and Soren went to try and get Claudia to join our side."

Callum and Rayla paused to ponder everything that Ezran had said just now.

"That is a lot of information," Rayla replies.

"Anyway, Ez, I'm glad you're back." Callum added, "It wasn't the same without you."

Now that Team Zym was back together, they began their climb up the mountain to the storm spire.
