It's hard to describe the dread that pervades Team Zym. Viren had always been on their minds, but they thought they might get a little more time.

Rayla declared, "I like to swear to protect Prince Azymondias under the oath of the Dragonguard."

Knowing the truth about her parents, Rayla would take great pride in following in their footsteps.

Being the liaison between elves and dragons, Ibis was delighted to have Rayla join the Dragonguard.

"Rayla of the Silvergrove, you are now the Last Dragonguard," Ibis announced, pining the dragonguard badge to Rayla's shirt.

Discussions about battle plans began. Callum wants to be optimistic that they might win. But, it was just based on Soren's description. Viren Army was large, and they were only three humans one elf and a baby dragon.

A voice from behind said, "I would like to offer my services.". Seeing the newly grown Janai and Aunt Amaya, the group turned around.

"We were told by a Sunfire Dragon that you intend to end this war," Janai related. As a result, she and the remaining army of the Lux Arena are offering their services to Team Zym.

As the rest of the group discussed the battle plan. There needs to be a reunion between Amaya and Callum.

"Callum, are you really you," she asked her nephew, sighing to him, not believing what she was seeing.

Then he signed back, "It's true.". In addition to learning how to speak, Callum learned how to sign with his aunt. Callum even considered Sign Language a secret form of communication as a child. One that only he and a select few people were in.

As Amaya sighed, she said, "You look so much like your mother.". She hugged her nephew again after years of waiting.

After the two had finished hugging, Amaya and Callum went back to the rest of the group. A large number of the remaining guards of Katolis had stepped up to offer their services. Ezran could see by its looks that the only soldiers who weren't some were members of the Crowngurard.

When Soren took to the front to speak, he needed people to understand where he stood.

"The truth is, someone who wants you to do horrible things and convinces you that they're good, that's a villain. My dad is a villain. And he's only gonna get more powerful, and the more powerful he gets, the more people will listen to him, and believe him, and follow him. So, maybe we could run, and we'd be safe for a while, but he's not gonna give up. It may seem hopeless, but our only chance is to fight him here while we're all together. The only way to stop this is to look evil in the face and say, No more."

Soren had always been told by Viren it was better not to talk. To be just the muscle. So when he heard the army support his words, Soren had never felt so proud in his life.

Following the motion, the Katolis and Lux arena guards would stand on the ground to stop Viren's army from advancing. If they did manage to sneak past them, Callum would be there at the front of the storm spire to use his magic to knock them back. In case all else failed, Rayla stood guard over Zym in the throne room. Pyrrah and a few other dragons even came to lend a hand.

It at been many years since Viren at seen the body of the late King of the dragon's Avizandum. Looking at his work with his army behind him, Viren couldn't help but feel pride. So Claudia was quite happy when her Father rode up beside her.

"I'm proud of your Claudia," Viren said to his daughter. Claudia couldn't help herself smiling as her Father praised her. "Despite Everything, you have stood beside me."

Claudia let out a small giggle. "Well, of course, your, my Dad" Despite what her brother said, Claudia knew that She and Viren were on the right side of history.

"I know, it's just...You have grown up so brilliant and strong. But you are still my little girl." Viren praised his favourite child.
"We are all that's left of our family, and I won't let anything break us apart," Claudia announced before riding off in front.

Viren gave off a small smile watching his daughter go off. It was then when Aaravous decides to make his presence known.

"Remember, get close enough to the prince to cast your spell. This will allow the capturing of the baby dragon munch easier," Aaraovus instructed.

"Yes, yes, I know everything is going according to plan," Viren replied.

"When you capture the dragonling, I will show you how to take his power, how to imbue yourself with all his magic and potentials, so that you will transcend the limits of your human form. Then none will dare stand against you."

Viren nod in agreement to Aaravous plans. The army rode together to the storm spire.

At long last, the struggle had begun. In the beginning, the Viren army was immune to fire, so it was touch and go. This made using Magic much more difficult for the Sunfire elves. Although this held back the army for a while, it did not last long enough.

While riding the dragons, Ezran viewed them from the sky. Despite Pyrrhah fire not stop the armies, it still did do a number of them.

"Don't land," Ezran said using his ability to speak to animals. "Keep Finally" The young prince gave his warning to Pyrrah.

Amidst the hundreds of soldiers on the battlefield. Sonen had a glimpse of his Father. He wanted this to be different to go back to being a family. However, despite what Father and sister thoughted, Soren was much smarter than he was ever given credit for.

"It is over, Dad!" Soren declared, holding his sword up.

Claudia screams frantically, "Soren, Wait!" as Claudia pleaded for her brother to stop.

However, Soren did not. He stood his ground. "Drop the staff, The Crown guard has ordered, to take you in," Soren said. Viren said nothing. He just seemed to stand there in silence. "If you don't come, I will have to use force."

Claudia begged her brother, "Please wait. You're making a mistake," But he could not hear her. Soren knew what he had to do, and nothing Claudia couldn't stop him.

His sword sunk into his father's chest as Soren stabbed him. Finally, Finally, Soren whispered, "It's over.". After that, Viren's body appeared to vanish.

"No, it isn't," Claudia responded, seeing how Soren had been taken aback. Claudia explained, "The battle was never fought here. This was just a distraction.".

He saw the army of Viren being taken away from the battlefield as he could also their side is taken care of the wounded. Claudia's statement became clear to Soren. As Soren dashed towards the storm spire, he took off in a flash.

"Fulminis" Callum cast his last spell. Sending the last reminder, monster soldiers down the mountain. Callum was about to celebrate their victory. But, Viren stopped him quickly when he approached the storm spire. As Viren cast the chain spell, the young mage was trapped.

Viren said to Callum, "You just had to cause all this trouble," as if he was no more than a child.

'You did this!' shouted Callum back. "I did nothing!" he responded.

He saw Callum struggling to free himself from the chain and partly laughed, "You could have been a good boy and stayed where you belong.".

Callum yelled, finally letting go of all the anger he had built up over the years of being abandoned. "I didn't belong in that stupid tower; I had home and family," he said. In his rage, Callum yelled so that he would be heard from afar.

That's exactly what Viren needed. In his hand was the enchanted bug he had learned how to make from Aaravous. The spell was cast by Viren with "retsam teppup."

Callum had been stung by the bug before he could react to it. The thought slipped from Callum's mind. He was left only with his body as his mind had been locked away.

He smiled wickedly at Callum, who, once, had possessed all this power but now had become a mindless puppet.

"I think we should get a little dragon," Viren said as Callum followed without a choice.
