Neji's face turned sour when he noticed Tenten and Rock Lee together appearing in the training spot. They were overly happy and blushing holding each other's hand.

"Gross, " He muttered under his breathe. The bushy brow and bun girl always irritated him to the core. At the first place why would he be given into the same team as they?

"What's the matter guys? You two look so good today,"Shino asked them wiping his sweaty face.

Lee and Tenten looked at each other smiling widely before fixing eyes at them. " We are officially dating each other.Lee proposed me and I couldn't say a no to him. He is cute, "Tenten announced.

What the fuck!

Neji shifted back his gaze at them. Tenten's affectionate gaze at Lee kinda made him feel weird. Everybody congratulated them except him. His fist clenched with annoyance. Wasn't Tenten flirting with him all through these days? And all of a sudden she was freaking dating Lee?!

Whatever, it wasn't his headache anymore. He must be thankful that the problem itself warded off. He had no interest in that annoying bratty girl. They made a good pair. A weakling dating another weakling. Compared to them his power scale and status was a lot higher. He was the Hyuuga prince. Whereas Tenten was just an average shinobi running a cheap flower shop.

But he felt tingles whenever she had lecture him, fought his arrogance back. He couldn't deny but whenever she flirted with him he felt OKAY.

Damn! Why was he wasting his brain cells over that troublesome florist? There were so many Hyuuga clan princesses across five nations desiring him. He wasn't foolish unlike Hinata to choose an uzumaki. Though Naruto was damn powerful, the hokage and kept his sister happy.

He still couldn't choose a princess to settle down. As all he could see in their eyes was love for his position. He wanted someone who could argue with him all day and night not fearing who who he was and looked at him the same way his mother looked at his dad. Just, just like Tenten!

What the fish was wrong with him? Why was he bringing her between everything? He wiped his face and left.

Tenten's birthday was nearing up and he was invited. Initially he had no wish to go but Choji dragged him to the party. That fatty loaf! He wished how he could activate his byakugan and show Choji cartoon his place. But for the sake of hyuuga reputation he had to smile like a clown.

It was about half an hour since they had reach her house. But Tenten wasn't showing up. Lee was supervising everything on her behalf which was something not okay for Neji.

He was sulking in a corner thinking about how troublesome and wasted it was when a sudden murmur erupted in the Hall. All the heads were turned at something. He was tired of dramas and looked to see what was it!

"Now what the hel-"

His words stopped midway. He couldn't believe what he was watching.

It was Tenten, descending from the stairs. She was dressed in a red one piece with her usual hair style replaced by simple open curls with a rose clip binding one side of the hair.

"Omg! She is looking so beautiful!"

Sakura chirped.

"Damn Lee is so lucky!, " Ino couldn't help but agree.

A blend of jealousy waved in his heart. But he couldn't disagree.

The way she flipped her hairs made his heart flip. She was perfection in a way. Lee was holding her hand while she cut the cake.

Only if he could hold that hand...

Ah! Neji don't be mad. She is a trash no matter what.

"She looks like a goddess. Doesn't she?"

Neji nodded in agreement,"Yes, she is a goddess." He realised what he just uttered and looked at the person beside him who compelled him to express his feelings. It was Naruto.

Neji was all red on the face seeing the blonde watching him curiously,"You are such a tsundere Hyuuga boy. At least keep aside your ego and wish the poor girl."

"Duh I am not a tsundere you dum-"

Naruto suddenly leaned over his face. Watching something carefully as Neji felt uncomfortable. "Ah Neji you are blushing. And your eyes... Damn you are in love!!"

The lilac eyed boy flustered on the face as Naruto continued his tease,"Oh wait! Don't tell Tenten having you affected. She is too precious for you! You ruthless bitch! You aren't no good for her!"

"Shut the hell up!, " Neji blurted over his face. Before Naruto could continue his teasing Tenten appeared,"Here is your cake guys."

"Happy birthday bunbun...Neji said you look beautiful," Blonde chirped.

"I didn't, "Neji defended. Tenten eyed them fighting like child's and giggled.

" It's alright even if he doesn't complement. He is still my friend, "she said leaving them behind. Her perfume tantalizing behind leaving Neji in a trance. Her laughter felt more audible ringing in his ears than usual.

"You know you can still propose her... "

"Shut up! It it wasn't for my sister I would have kicked your ass."

Man he felt so furious... What did Naruto mean by he wasn't good for Tenten? Like if she was his girlfriend he would have treated her better. He would have given her the world which unfortunately that airhead Lee won't understand.

His eyes slipped at the duo dancing on the floor. He was absorbing her all curves and counting her smiles.

"They look made for each other. Lee is a cute boyfriend, " Iruka sensei said.

Neji's cheek puffed. "My ass! He looks a clown beside her. She deserves better."

Tenten felt like someone has glaring her from the crowd. She ignored the feeling and danced her heart out.

Things were going normal for them until one day Lee, Tenten and Neji were assigned to scout on the Western part of the Konoha forest. There were lawbreakers in the leaf village. They had to find them from hideouts. Neji's byakuga saw an irrelevant activity at a point. They had to cross a simple suspension bridge to pass over the other side. As soon as Lee stepped over it one of its side rope teared apart and he along the bridge collapsed in the deep pit.

"LEEE! "

Tenten screamed. The pit was hollow and she could see nothing. Desperately she clung to Neji,"Save him. You have byakugan. You can go through it."

For a moment she really thought Neji would actually save her boyfriend. "I can't waste my energy over a stupid genin... "

Tenten felt like someone slapped her on the face. "What are you? He is our team mate Neji! It's our duty to save him."

"Just your boyfriend. Nothing mine. It's your duty to save him."

Tenten wanted to smack him but she couldn't waste time. There could be danger lurking inside. "Of course I will. After that I will lodge a complaint against you to the hokage, " She said giving him glares and looking back at the pit. But her courage disappeared once she noticed the depth.

"Let's have a deal."

She looked back at Neji who was leaning against a rock. He had a sinister smile on his face.

"What?"

"I will save him... But after that you have to break up with Lee and come to me."

"What!! "

Tenten was visibly shaking in anger. Neji was smiling like a bastard. "You don't have much time. I can sense enemy chakra approaching. You will be responsible for his death."

"Okay. Just save him please."

She closed her eyes while saying. She didn't want to see his smirk. But felt her hand in a grip to notice him slipping a ring through her finger. She looked at him with questioning eyes as he placed a kiss on her forehead, "I will be a great boyfriend and the best husband I promise."

Then he jumped in the pit, leaving behind a breaking Tenten crying on the soil. She looked at the ring which had the word hyuga carved in it. She never thought Neji could be a bastard. He never showed an ounce of liking towards her. Then why?

After sometimes Neji appeared with an unconscious Lee whose head was bleeding. They took him to Tsunade Sama who treated Lee. As soon as he opened his to see Tenten he rushed at her,"Baby-"

Tenten was going to hug him back but was suddenly pulled into a solid embrace. Everyone looked surprised at Neji who lifted her hand showing off the ring,"She is mine."

Everyone looked gauged eyes at them. "She loves me not a loser... So I am making her mine. Tell him Tenten... You don't need him."

She felt her voice choking. Neji's grip tightened around her waist signalling her to do as he said. She looked into Lee's eyes and spoke,"I love Neji... I want to be with him. Sorry Lee, we are wrong for each other."

Lee bursted out crying like a child, "No... You can't break my heart." As much funnier it was for Neji, that much painful for Tenten.

"Excuse me Granny Tsunade, I need to talk with Tenten alone, " Sakura said guiding her out. While going out she looked at Neji whose eyes we're fixed on his claimed one. He had a confident smile as he knew nothing could come between him and Tenten.

Sakura glared down at Tenten who was phased out somewhere. Making her face at her the Pinkett asked,"Did that Hyuga prince threaten you?Because as much as I know you aren't that type of girl to cheat."

Tenten shook her head. Her lips quivered, "No-o."

"Then what? Cause I can sense something wrong Tenten. If it is tell us we will help you out."

"No just leave me alone, " She walked out from there without looking back or paying any heed to Sakura's voice pleading her to come back. Her vision blurred. From there she went to the Lake sitting there for hours. Until her eyes went sore watching the sunset. She noticed the ring on her finger which she tried to take out but it seemed to tighten more around her finger. She heard rustling of leaves, "Just go Sakura."

"It's me."

She grabbed her kunoichi and attacked the person who dodged it kicking her into the water.

"What the fuck Neji!!!, " She screamed all wet and went to balance for another attack but her stomach jilted with a pain.

Neji dived into the lake towards her carrying her into his arms. She tried to protest when he said,"Don't...you are hurt. It's useless."

Tenten felt weird in his arms. "This is how you will be a great boyfriend? By hurting me?"

He halted looking into her eyes. His face instantly curled into a smirk. Leaning his nose against her cheek caressing the part he whispered,"I have many more ways to be a great boyfriend. Only if you allow to show me... "

Embarrassment was a different thing. Neji's uncensored pervert side was enough for Tenten to get indigestion. "Get me down I can walk..., " She started jerking her legs.

"You are my girlfriend now. It's my duty to care for you,"he said until she chomped on his neck flesh and he literally had to drop her in the water. As soon as she got up her fist met his chin and for a second he all he saw was darkness.

Damn she was pretty strong!

"Why do you suddenly want me as your girlfriend? Wasn't I ugly, stupid, weak, clumsy, useless for you Neji Hyuga?, " She shouted with tears in her eyes slamming his chest. He was bewildered for a moment until a smile broke out on his face startling her.

"What the fuck you are smiling at?"

His lavender eyes met her widely staring brown orbs,"Your ferocity turned me on." She felt her cheeks twinge red like a mini bulb. Before she could scowl or throw another Saitama punch he strangulated her in his arms, "You always cared for me even if I was a dick towards you. You showed me affection. Now I have feelings grown in me. I am your problem now."

Tenten couldn't gather words to speak. He lowered his face at her when she jerked off from his grip,"Get the hell out. What do you think you are doing?"

Without waiting for his answer she started walking towards her home. He didn't follow her. It was time he pursue his father. Hiashi would have slapped him across the face if it was like before but now after becoming a grandfather he was changed. The old man said,"I am certain my son won't make a bad decision. Whatever it is I don't mind."

Tenten walked over where Lee was kept for time being. She opened the door to see Asumi comforting him. How couldn't she see it earlier? Asumi was clearly in love with Rock Lee. She silently closed the door and walked back home. As soon as she sprawled on her bed sleep consumed her.

Next morning she readied up and hurriedly set out for her destination. She made up her mind. The decision she was going to take up either be regrettable or opposite.

She reached Hyuga house. The guards let her in as soon as she said, "I am here to meet Neji." One of them noticed the ring around her finger and bowed to her with respect. She was escorted to Neji's room by a maid. After that the maid closed the door and left. She looked around with an disinterested face until the bathroom door opened and Neji appeared. They both looked at each other when Tenten gasped,"Oh shit!"

He was just wearing a towel and his long sleek hairs down around his torso. Without looking at him she said,"Let's get married!"

Neji frowned before smiling,"Someone is getting desperate... "

He tiptoed at her as she backed away tripping on the bed. He hovered over her, his lilac eyes piercing into hers. Tenten smiled awkwardly trying to change the conversation,"Your bed is so small. Just like your heart."

"Don't worry, if we don't fit in together you can sleep over me... Or underneath me."

Dafuq!

He untied her hairs letting her hairs flow against his skin,"You look better this way... "

Suddenly the door opened and servant entered but seeing them in that position murdered a quick sorry and departed. Tenten lost it. Kicking him away she screamed,"It's your fault... Now what will they think about me?"

"Couple?"

"We aren't!"

"A moment ago you said let's get married... And it doesn't matter. People should know it. I want to hear a gossip about us and let them know you are mine."

"I don't have any way other than to marry you. Asumi loves Lee. I am marrying you for her sake. She will treat him better than me, " Her last words reflected hidden pain. She felt herself in a warm enclosure. Neji was hugging her. For time being, she allowed him to caress her..

#2 years later#

"Ojīsan, " Hiashi noticed the fluffy little girl running at him. He immediately opened his arms at her glowing happily,"Naomi... My sunflower."

"Ojisan noooo, " The little girl was flung in the air. "Upsy daisy... "

Hanabi smiled at the father- granddaughter duo and looked at her sister in law,"Day by day he is becoming a child with them... "

Tenten nodded with a smile continuing her sewing. Winter was arriving. She looked at Naomi who was getting squished by her grandpa. Except her eyes everything resembled her mother. Tenten couldn't help but smile. She never regretted marrying Neji. He was a pain in the ass but falling for him was invincible. He gave her everything she wanted and tried to make her happy. Initially she used to be depressed and walked in eggshells around him. She used to think he didn't love her instead she was a victim to his ego. Under her influence, his rogue attitude was changing. Her feelings for him developed when he came back seriously injured from a mission. His life was almost in stake. Still, it took her three months from then to confess him. The next time he went to a mission she took special permission from Naruto and assisted him. There she discovered a pleasant surprise, she was pregnant. When Neji knew it after returning he was half mad and half happy. Mad because she kept it hidden all through a dangerous mission and they could have been hurt. Happy because he was going to be a dad. Rock Lee was happily married with Asuma who had a son together named Metal Lee. They were good friends even after everything and he forgave her.

She was thinking about this all when a hand rested on her shoulder. She looked back and smiled at Neji."What are you thinking?"

He asked sitting beside her.

"Ojisan don't pull my cheeks that much. How childish you are!, " Naomi purred at her grandfather who evidently ignored her cute pleas.

"She acts bigger than her age," Tenten sniggered.

"Maybe because she is alone that's why... Why don't we give her a playmate?, " Neji said. Tenten flustered looking at Hanabi who immediately acted oblivious,"I didn't hear anything I swear." She got up and joined Hiashi in pampering Naomi.

Tenten pushed away Neji angrily,"You are so gross! She must be feeling embarrassed."

"O.. That's not my fault. You have grown beautiful after becoming mother... It's hard for me to control my feelings."

"You know what? If Jiraiya Sensei is the pervy sage then you are the pervy prince of hidden leaf village."

"Wow... You look so cute while cursing me. I am getting nose bleeds. Between you are responsible for me being pervert. Only you make me feel those urges."

"Can't deny you are an ass hole but I love you Neji Hyuga."

"I love you too Tenten Hyuga."
