Levi woke up shaking and covered in sweat. However, his reason for shaking and sweating was not from his high fever. It was because of the dream he had or Nightmare should have been a better term.
In his nightmare, he let Hange sacrifice herself and knowing she was burnt alive with him being helpless and loosing her scared him. He looked around and found himself in an unfamiliar room that at the same time feels familiar.
He heard a door open and looked up and saw Hange carrying a tray with soup and medicine. He instinctively rushed to her but because of his sickness, ended up on the floor. Hange hurriedly set the tray aside and hurried to Levi to get him back to bed.
"Levi what are you doing rushing out of bed!"
Hange was about to continue scolding him but was cut off by Levi.
"Four-eyes you're alive. I'm so sorry I was useless that you had to sacrifice yourself. I didn't want to live without you."
Levi clung to Hange as if his life depended on it. He was afraid she'd leave him alone again if he did let go. Hange on the other hand was confused by what he said earlier.
" If I did die I wouldn't be here with you you know. That must have been a horrible nightmare for you to say stuff like that now let's get you to bed so that you're condition does not get worse"
Hange help Levi lie down and sat next to him by the side of the bed hoping it will calm him down from the nightmare.
"Four-eyes if you ever do anything stupid and try to leave me alone I swear I will lock you up". Levi said with a tint of fear.
Hange just laughed at what he said. "I would be a horrible person to just leave my fiance and soon to be husband". Hange stroked his hand with her left hand. A ring with a simple yet beautiful design can be seen. A symbol of a promise thay made which will soon be fulfilled.
