Thalia POV

The hunters had come to CHB for a while. I've been kinda missing camp so I was glad we came.

Reyna joined the hunters a few weeks ago and we've been together ever since.

Lately, we've been inseparable! I'm so glad she joined!

We're gonna rule the world together!

It's also been kinda weird.

Coming back to camp AND with Reyna.

The first thing I did as soon as I came back to camp is visit my tree.

Reyna asked me if I had ever been to the top of the tree. That was her way of teasing me. She knows I'm scared of heights. I rolled my eyes and said no.

She ran to the tree and started to climb.

As she climbed a small slit of her skin showed through under her T-shirt which made my stomach squeal. I don't know what it was but I felt if she could stay like that for a while, I would like it.

Quickly, she climbed to the top of the tree. "It's beautiful up here!" She said.

"Uh... no thanks." I said grabbing by stomach with one hand and rubbing my forehead with the other.

"Are you okay?" She asked when she came down.

She jumped like an all time gymnast which mad my stomach tickle in the insides.

"No. I'm feeling kinda light headed. My stomach's acting weird!" I replied.

"Let's get you to the infirmary! I was planning on going there anyways." She said

Why was she planning to go to the infirmary?

She said she was looking forward to seeing Nico. Was Nico in the infirmary? What happened to him?

Did Jason's death really devastate him THAT much?

I felt sad about Jason's death and I cried for weeks and Nico is a child of death he can speak to Jason anytime.

Just yesterday Reyna had said Nico is fine! Did she lie? No! They're best friends! Reyna would never lie to me!

Maybe Reyna was feeling sick too. It was probably the mile run directly after breakfast.

As these thoughts were going through my mind we had already reached the infirmary.

Reyna knocked on the door.

A boy with a very similar resemblance of the Apollo, who I could only guess was his dad, opened the door.

"Reyna! Hi!" She said shaking in fear.

He extended his arm smiling, but I could see the fear in his face.

"I'm Will! Will Solace." He said

Reyna shook his hand and tightened her grip really hard. He yelped in pain.

"Reyna Avila Ramirez-Arellano Ex-Preator of the 12th legion. Lieutenant of Diana." She said.

"Um...head healer of camp half blood." Will said, calming down a little. He seemed like he wanted to say something else but glanced inside and stopped.

"Reyna?" Came a voice from inside the infirmary.

Reyna threw Will's hand down and ran inside. Naturally, I followed.

"Nico!" She said as she hugged him.

"Hey Nico." I said to Nico, softly.

He smiled a little at me,"Hi."

"Nico! Be nice!" A voice ordered.

I was surprised to find out it belonged to Will who was shivering with fear in the presence of Reyna.

More surprised to find that he just ordered Nico who I thought he would be more scared of.

And MOST surprised when Nico smiled at him and said,"Okay Will."

"Is he treating you well?" Reyna asked Nico.

I doubted she was talking about his medical treatment seeing that he was looking much healthier to me.

"Reyna, relax, I appreciate you looking out for me but please don't threaten my boyfriend!" Nico said.

Boyfriend?

Nico was gay?!

I had no problem with it.

It was just... unexpected.

"You're gay?" I asked

"Yep." He said," I'm here because of my boyfriend. Why are you?" He questioned.

"The hunters were comin-" I started but was cut off by Nico.

"We were informed of the hunters coming yesterday. Why are YOU in the infirmary?" He asked.

"She doesn't feel good. I'll leave Will to his work. You wanna come with me or you're helping Will?" Reyna asked Nico

Nico hesitated, eyed me and said," I'll stay here for a while but then I'll come."

Reyna shrugged," is Piper here?" She asked

"Came a week ago." Nico responded.

Reyna smiled nodded and went out of the infirmary giving a death glare to Will.

Will made his way over to me and pushed pass gesturing me to follow him.

I followed him to a small room with one window, just big enough to get air.

Nico was just behind me.

Will turned around,"Symptoms?" He asked cheerfully.

It was hard to believe someone so...sunshiney could be dating the son of death.

"My head feels a little light and my stomach is ticking me." I said.

The boys looked at me, smirked , at each other, sheared a knowing glance as if that was their inside joke, looked back at me like they were trying not to laugh, back ate each other and burst out laughing!

IM SICK!

HOW DARE THEY!

"YOU ABSOLUTEA*HOLES!IM SICK AND YOU HAVE THE GUTS TO LAUGH!"

"Mhmmmm. You're VERY sick." Said Will, winking at Nico who blushed.

"Tell me when this started happening?" Asked Will.

I wracked my brain.

This started the day Reyna joined the hunt.

"The day Reyna joined the hunt... DOES REYNA HEVE A DISEASE?! DID I CATCH IT?!" I asked

"No. Reyna is perfectly healthy. Though you did catch something." Will explained

"And you don't know what it is?" I asked

"I know what it is. I speak from experience that it only gets worse till you do what needs to be done?" Will said

"From experience?" I asked

"Both of us!" Nico said.

"And what needs to be done?" I asked

"We're gonna break it to you gently." Nico explained

I panicked a little

"Thalia Grace, you have...feelings!" Will declared

"Very funny!" I said sarcastically,"Of course I have feelings! I'm a living person!"

Will and Nico snickered before clearing their throats.

"Thalia...you're in love!" Nico said

"WHAT?! With WHO?!" I asked, shocked.

"I think you know who! I saw how you were looking at her." Will said

My jaw dropped.

I was in love with Reyna?

Time skip

It's been 3 hours since I had been "diagnosed" with feelings for Reyna.

And I think they were right.

I was passing by when I saw Nico and Reyna sparring.

I stopped to look and I found myself gaping at Reyna. Will was gaping too but I doubt at Reyna.

Reyna won! I gave a loud cheer which escaped my mouth before I could think.

"I let you win." Nico said.

"You say that every time, Nico!" Reyna said as she strode over to me.

I was totally not staring at her hips so don't you dare accuse me of that!

Fine... I kinda was.

"Wanna spar?" She asked

"Nah. I...uh...can't!" I said

"Why?" She asked

"I...I'm tired. Also my brain isn't functioning."

"Did Will say that?" She said smirked beautifully at me.

Why did I just think she's beautiful? I asked my brain

Because you like her! My brain said

Oh ok thanks! I said to my brain

Time skip again cuz I'm feeling lazy

Reyna had asked me if I was coming to the campfire and I was like,"Obviously! I haven't attended one since soo long!"

Seeing as I'm still 15 and always gonna be I couldn't say since I was 15!

We made our way to the campfire and saw all everyone sitting around the bonfire.

We went over to Will and Nico.

Will had his hand wrapped around Nico's waist and Nico had leaned into him. They had a big scarf wrapped around both of them. They were cute together, I had to admit. I feel even Artemis would be supportive of them!

Reyna glared at Will who didn't seem to notice. He was to busy admiring his boyfriend.

After a few songs and s'mores, we decided to head to the cabins.

I don't know if I was seeing things but I think Will went to the Hades cabin, not with his siblings.

I asked Reyna if she would come to the Zeus cabin with me.

She came.

When we were in the Zeus cabin, I looked at around. I found a drawer with lightning and brick doodles on it and opened it.

I found that inside were pictures Jason had taken of the 2 of us.

I held back tears as I flipped through all the photos.

I forgot Reyna was there until I heard a slight sob.

I turned around to see Reyna crying. She looked beautiful when she was sad.

I pulled her into a hug.

I held struggled to hold back my tears which were ready to flow out so that I could stay strong for Reyna.

But I gave into my tears as she hugged me tighter.

After we finished crying, we pulled away.

"D-do you remember the first time we met?" Reyna asked me

"How could I forget?"

At this point both of us were smirking at the memory and each other.

"I noticed you laughed when I pinned you to the ground with your knife." She said

"Yeah. You were as good as you were know. Actually you're probably better now."

"I need to tell you something."

"Go ahead. I'm here for you."

"After Jason died, I realised... I don't wanna lose you too!" She said. I could tell she was controlling tears.

"I'm right here." I assured her.

"I lik- no. I love you, Thalia Grace!" She admitted

My heart flipped. My brain lost control of my body and I swiftly pulled her into a kiss.

And she kissed back!

After a few minutes, we pulled away.

"What about the hunt?" I asked.

"They'll be fine. I'm not against love. Well... I am. But only when it misleads you. And i have a feeling the two of you will treat the other well."

"Of course!" We both replied at the same time

"Then you can date. As long as you don't tell any of the other huntresses!" She said

"We swear on the Styx!" I said

Reyna repeated

And with that, the goddess disappeared.

We were leaning in for another kiss when we hear a shrill squeal.

We ran out and saw Piper.

"YOU WERE SPYING ON US?!" I asked

"I'm not alone." She said

Behind her we saw Nico and Will

"You guys too?!" Said Reyna in disbelief

"Piper wasn't even the one who screamed!" Will said snickering to Nico who scowled at him. Will smiled back blindingly and broke Nico's scowl. I didn't even know someone could break Nico's scowl!

But hey that's what love does to you.

I loved Reyna and she loved me back.

But I'm back!
