MXC: Disney vs. Cartoon Network vs. Nickelodeon
Rated K+
Summary: Three of the post popular cartoon-centered brands engage in a battle of legendary proportions as they compete in the toughest competition in town! Who'll be the last brand standing? We'll find out on MXC, Most Extreme Elimination Challenge!
Disclaimer: I do not own anything associated with Disney, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon or the show MXC, also known as Most Extreme Elimination Challenge. MXC and the rest of the characters is owned by Paramount Network (aka Spike TV), and that's all you need to know. Since I got back to binging on more MXC on TubiTV, I'd figured why not write up a big fic featuring characters from both Disney, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon shows, mostly cartoons in which they're competing on MXC? That's what me and The Amazing Ghost Musician are gonna be doing here in this story, so most of the credit goes to my co-writer as well.
P.S.: This will be set in an AU in which Fox and Disney both own MXC, hencewhy this is gonna be a bit of a family-friendly approach. I understand why people are a bit turned off by MXC feeling more like PG-rated WWE without Kenny's dirty jokes and Guy LeDouche himself, but it's not my idea. The Amazing Ghost Musician actually thought of an alternate universe where Fox and Disney end up owning MXC. That's only the MXC fic we do together whereas my MXC fics will be written like the show without all that family friendly crap with Kenny's dirty jokes and Guy LeDouche included. I hope that can help clarify things here. Anyway, sit back and enjoy!
Chapter 7: Brass Balls
!MXC is back yet again for the three-way between Disney, Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon! Business is about to pick up!
Once after the announcer was done with his usual after-break intro as always, the camera turned back over to the kitchen where Kenny and Vic were still standing with Doug Funnie and Patti Mayonnaise in front of the kitchen counter with all the pizza ingredients laid out.
"Hello, and welcome back once again," Vic said to the camera before facing Doug, "And of course, still standing right beside me and Ken is Doug Funnie and Patti Mayonnaise, who are about to show us how a Banana Pudding Pizza works. Doug, mind giving me a demonstration?"
"Well, it's basically not anything fancy though," Doug shrugged it off, "All it takes is just pizza crust and a heaping bowl of banana pudding."
"Ah, just like in the episode itself." Vic nodded,
"Oh yeah, I actually remember that episode too, Vic." Kenny nodded as well, "Got me hungry just looking at it."
It wasn't long before Doug immediately poured the entire banana pudding onto the already-baked pizza crust, forcing Vic to watch as the pudding oozed naturally into the cooked dough itself.
"And wa-la, you have perfect Banana Pudding pizza in a matter of seconds," Patti replied, "Perfect for that after-dinner dessert you've been looking for."
"I'll tell you, there's nothing more satisfying than seeing perfection happen straight before your eyes, Ken," Vic replied before smelling something funky coming onto his nose, "Wait a minute, what's that burning smell?"
All of a sudden, Vic turned around to see Kenny looking at his banana pudding pizza right into the oven, forcing both Vic, Doug and Patti to freak out.
"Kenny, what the heck are you doing?!" Vic shrieked.
"I'm cooking my banana pudding pizza, Vic!" Kenny replied, "What's the big deal?"
"Kenny, you're not supposed to cook the thing!" Vic shouted before saying, "You're only supposed to cook the crust only before you pour in the pudding!"
Kenny immediately scoffed with laughter before saying, "Oh, relax yourself, Vic. What's the worst thing that can possibly-"
But before Kenny could say one more word…
*BOOM!*
The oven exploded right into Kenny's face, forcing his entire face to get burned and charred in a cartoonish effect. And yet, that also caused Vic, Doug and Patti to hit their foreheads out of pure annoyance.
"Oh, I didn't know it could explode like that…" Kenny said, shaking over to the three.
"I swear, Ken, I.R. Baboon would probably be proud of your stupidity now." Vic said as he smacked Kenny with his fan.
After the bit was finished and done with, the camera transitioned over to an animated graphic showing the next event, Brass Balls, forcing Vic to explain the rules in its entirety.
"Anyway, it's time for Brass Balls!" Vic exclaimed, "The rules is that our contestants must grab a ball and cross a rickety bridge without being shot off by our trained assassins."
Once Vic finished explaining the rules though, the camera switched over to the Captain who blew his whistle and said, "GET IT ON!"
The first contestant that was being shown at the front of the bridge had dark blue hair, green beanie cap, green shirt that was covered by a blue coat, lime green skirt and brown boots.
"I've got your guns right here!" Janna shouted out.
"And starting off first for the Disney Team representing Star vs. The Forces of Evil, Janna Ordonia!" Vic exclaimed, "She's considered to be Star and Marco's friend who just happens to be interested in the occult and paranormal."
"Yeah she's the girl who is always getting into Marco's personal stuff, like his wallet and his house keys." Kenny replied first-handedly, "She must be like a human magnet or something."
"Right you are, Ken!" Vic nodded.
Once Janna stopped at the middle of the bridge, the Captain launched the ball over to Janna, who caught it just in time before one of the assassins (mostly Danny Glands) started to shoot right at her, forcing Janna to move carefully toward the bridge.
"There we go, Janna's got the ball now." Vic pointed out, "Look at her, just taking her time trying to cross that bridge."
"She's being very agile when it comes to a lot of things being thrown at her from a distance." Kenny stated.
"That's a very reasonable point, Ken!" Vic replied, "One little mistake could definitely cost her chance of scoring."
All of a sudden, Janna noticed one of the balls coming her way, using the ball in her hands to deflect the other one in return. The scene however impressed Vic of the defense she was using in response.
"Oh, check this out, Ken!" Vic pointed out.
"Wow, how on earth is she doing that?" Kenny raised his eyebrow.
Vic let out a shrug before saying, "Don't know, but it seems to me she's using her ball to deflect the other balls from coming in her way!"
"Not gonna lie, but I kinda like it!" Kenny nodded.
Janna attempted to deflect another ball, only for the oncoming ball to knock the one right off her hands before she immediately lost her balance and fell right into the net.
"Oh, and down into the net she goes!" Vic pointed out again.
"Oh man, and I thought that Janna was gonna pull off that win!" Kenny groaned.
"Indeed, Ken." Vic nodded, "And if the rest of you fans wanna pull off a win yourselves, you can manage to do so with our latest offer here!"
After Janna left the course entirely, the camera switched right over to a picture of a DVD showing the "Scooby-Doo Meets Courage The Cowardly Dog'' movie right on the screen, alongside the price that was showing to the right of the picture itself.
"As we're being told, you can get this exclusive Scooby-Doo Meets Courage The Cowardly Dog movie when it comes out to DVD in the fall, mostly September." Vic replied, "If you call right now, you can pre-order this movie with free shipping guarantee alongside a free autographed picture of our very own Captain Tenneal. And it's all yours for just one easy payment of $19.95, so order now."
"I'm so excited for this movie, Vic!" Kenny smirked, "The Captain's pretty face adds a nice touch."
"Indeed," Vic nodded yet again.
Once that advertising bit was done, the camera scrolled back to the bridge where an old man with a brown hat, glasses, yellow shirt, pale green overalls, brown shoes was standing in front of the bridge itself.
"Stupid Dog! You make me look bad!" Eustace shouted out angrily.
"Speaking of which, coming up next for Cartoon Network, it's Eustace Bagge from Courage The Cowardly Dog!" Vic exclaimed.
"Oh man, not this D-Bag." Kenny shook his head, "He keeps scaring the heck out of Courage with that creepy little mask of his that he hides in his overalls."
"I know, Ken!" Vic nodded once more, "Heaven knows what else he's got stored in his slacks."
"Seeing the way he abuses and tortures poor Courage, it makes me sick." Kenny glared, "I swear Vic, seeing all of that would make both PETA and ASPCA have a giant field day with him."
"Well, don't we all, Ken?" Vic said with his eyes rolling.
"In fact, I know just what to do." Kenny said before getting out of his seat.
Once Eustace got in the middle of the bridge, he lent his hands out to the captain, ready to lend him a ball. But before that could happen though…
*BAM!*
A big black volleyball came out of nowhere and smacked Eustace clean right in the head, not only knocking his hat and glasses off of his head, but it also knocked him into the net as well.
"Oh, dear heavens." Vic said with a little smirk.
"Ok, Vic, I'm back." Kenny said, smirking as well, "Had to show Eustace what's what."
"Kenny, did you have something to do with this?" Vic raised his eyebrow.
"Well I'm not gonna lie, Vic!" Kenny replied, "This jerk had it coming for a long time!"
"I won't argue with that, Ken!" Vic nodded.
Kenny then pointed to Eustace before saying to Vic, "Wait wait, it's not over yet, Vic. Take a look."
The camera went right back over to Eustace, who was trying his best to get out of the net. But once he did, however, a barrage of balls started coming out of nowhere, pelting Eustace right in the face and body repeatedly as if it was raining dodgeballs all of a sudden!
"Oh my goodness!" Vic yelped a bit in surprise.
Kenny then pointed out to Eustace in laughter, "Hahahaha, now that is justice served on a platter for ya."
"Right you are, Ken!" Vic giggled, "That absolutely deserves the title of our MXC Impact Replay!"
Right as Eustace continued to be pelted by balls though, the MXC Impact Replay started to play out his entire run, focusing on the part where Eustace got smacked by a big black volleyball from the left and knocked him off the bridge. Then it would soon be followed by dodgeballs raining down on him, beating down on his hurt body.
"You see right there, I nailed him headfirst." Kenny pointed out, "And then all of a sudden, it rained dodgeballs on him. I'll tell ya, I'm a pro when it comes to firepower, Vic."
"And no doubt that shows, Ken." Vic nodded.
"It sure does, Vic!" Kenny replied, as the replay came to an end.
The camera then focused back to the front of the bridge where a talking sponge with big blue eyes, buck teeth, white shirt, red tie, brown square-shaped pants and black shoes was standing alongside his signature Krusty Krab hat.
"I'M READY!" Spongebob shouted happily.
"And first up for Nickelodeon, it's everyone's favorite sponge from Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob SquarePants!" Vic pointed out, "And no doubt, this event is definitely suited for a sea creature quite like him!"
"Maybe because since he's a sponge, the balls are likely to bounce off of him?" Kenny said to Vic.
"Well let's see if that can give Spongebob the advantage, Ken." Vic pointed out.
It wasn't long before the Captain launched the ball straight into SpongeBob's hands, which forced him to take his time crossing the bridge while the balls started to fly towards him. One of those balls, of course, hit SpongeBob right by his spongy skin, forcing his spongy exterior to bounce the ball back, therefore absorbing the hit!
"Hey, I was right, Vic!" Kenny pointed out as well.
"You could be, Ken!" Vic nodded, "SpongeBob's definitely using his spongy skin to his advantage. In fact, it was his skin that helped him no-sell the beating Flats tried to give him once."
"Yeah it was like Spongebob was his own shield."
"Right you are, Ken!" Vic nodded.
SpongeBob looked to dodge and absorb the oncoming balls for a good mile before an oncoming ball smacked him hard in the eye, blinding him to the point that it was enough to knock SpongeBob off the bridge and onto the net!
"Oh and that got him right in the eye, Ken!" Vic pointed out once again.
"Yeah, it's too bad he could've worn goggles to protect his eyes." Kenny said to Vic, "Those things are the most fragile when it comes to oncoming balls."
"Truth spoken, Ken." Vic nodded back.
As SpongeBob held his eye in intense pain however, the camera suddenly turned back over to the front of the bridge, where a green platypus was shown chattering to the camera, leaving Kenny very puzzled on what the platypus even said.
"Um, any idea what he said, Vic?" Kenny turned to his partner with a raised eyebrow.
"Wouldn't know, Ken," Vic shrugged, "But anyway, next up for the Disney Team representing Phineas and Ferb is Perry The Platypus!"
"Eh, he looks a bit small to be playing." Kenny replied, "I don't know how the balls are gonna get to him."
"Well, that could definitely give Perry the size advantage, Ken." Vic said to his partner.
After Perry got to the middle of the bridge though, the Captain shot a ball towards Perry's way, forcing the Platypus to catch the ball with his tail before he took off walking on the bridge. Danny Glands attempted to shoot his balls towards Perry's way, only for Perry to sidestep to the left, leaving the ball overshooting and missing.
"Wow, Danny's a bad shot." Kenny smirked.
"That he is, " Vic replied, "Or perhaps Perry is using his stature to his advantage like you asked, Ken."
"Well, it's no wonder that stupid-headed doctor can't even beat him no matter how hard he tries." Kenny said, referring to Dr. Doofenshmirtz.
"Indeed, but it's only when he puts that hat on and becomes Agent P as a member of OWCA." Vic said before replying, "That of course, stands for Organization Without a Cool Acronym."
"OWCA?" Kenny raised his eyebrow, "Is it somewhat like PETA or something?"
Vic groaned before saying, "No Kenny, it's not. It's basically a team of animal secret agents that stop evil from taking control of the world. They basically have agents that result from a cat, a panda, an elephant, a penguin, pretty much the whole kit and kaboodle, Ken."
"Wow, that's awesome!" Kenny smirked out, "I wish I could be an animal myself. That way I can join and pretty much sleep out on the job."
Vic rolled his eyes as he said, "If they hired you, we'd be indeed doomed."
As they were still talking however, the camera showed Perry still evading and sidestepping the oncoming balls long enough for the platypus to make it towards the end of the bridge, therefore scoring big for the Disney team!
"And he's done it, Ken!" Vic quickly pointed out.
"How on earth could Danny Glands fail against a platypus?!" Kenny groaned, "I bet he ain't gonna live that down!"
"I don't think so, Ken, and therefore Disney scores again." Vic replied.
While Perry continued to chatter to himself in victory, the camera quickly turned around to see the next contestant come up toward the bridge wearing a big red bow attached to her long auburn hair, and a short red dress with a black stripe attached.
"I hate jail!" Blossom shouted out.
"And next up for the Cartoon Network team, Blossom from The Powerpuff Girls!" Vic pointed out quickly.
"She's the leader of the trio, right Vic?" Kenny asked.
"Indeed, Ken." Vic nodded before saying, "With her on their side, they have beaten the most evilest of villains that ever surrounds Townsville such as Mojo Jojo, Fuzzy Lumpkins, The Gangrene Gang, The Amoeba Gang, Him, Sedusa, Princess Morebucks, the rest goes on."
As Vic continued talking however, the Captain passed the big ball over to Blossom, who immediately took her sweet time crossing the bridge while dodging the oncoming balls Danny was shooting at her.
"The PowerPuff Girls got more enemies then the Ninja Turtles." Kenny replied.
"Right you are, Ken!" Vic nodded, "And their tradition is that they save the world before bedtime."
"Why does she hate jail all of a sudden?" Kenny said, raising his eyebrow to Vic.
"Your guess is as good as mine, but if I had to guess on what she meant, she actually went to jail after stealing golf clubs to give to Professor Utonium as a gift once." Vic replied back to Ken.
Kenny however took in a regretful shudder before saying, "I really hate to see what that's like to live in jail."
"I know how you feel, Ken!" Vic replied, tapping his partner on the shoulder. "But anyway, it looks like Blossom is having no trouble dodging those balls coming at her."
Blossom managed to make it at least half-way toward the bridge before a big brass ball clipped her right in the calf, forcing Blossom to let go of the ball, hit her face on the bridge and drop down to the net, eliminating her right away.
"Oh and Blossom goes beddy-bye, Ken!" Vic exclaimed.
"Dang it, I bet Bubbles and Buttercup should be ashamed of her." Kenny replied.
"No doubt they should be, Ken." Vic replied, "Let's check that out on the replay."
While Blossom continued to lay down painfully on the net, the replay of her run was being shown focusing on the part where the ball hit her right on the leg, followed by Blossom's face hitting onto the bridge and falling off the bridge itself.
"You see that, Vic?" Kenny pointed out before saying, "Blossom gets it right in the leg, and of course, that impact forces Blossom to fall down and eat crud, all before getting some bedtime by one of our comfortable nets. I use those nets as perfect hammocks whenever I want to nap outside."
"That's gotta sound peaceful and relaxing." Vic nodded.
As the replay came to an end however, the camera switched back over to the bridge where the next competitor was shown wearing a black dress with a skull attached to it, gray arm leggings, purple leggings, black shoes and shaggy purple hair.
"No comment!" Gaz shouted out.
"Anyway, next up for team Nickelodeon, it's Gaz Membrane representing Invader Zim!" Vic exclaimed.
"Isn't she Dib's spooky goth sister?" Kenny said, raising his eyebrow again.
"Correct as you are, Ken." Vic nodded, "She's also an avid gamer, soda fanatic and pizza lover."
"Oh yeah, I remember that Invader Zim episode where Gaz stalked this one boy until she got that darn Game Slave." Kenny replied, "That episode had to be one of the darkest cartoon episodes ever made."
"Well, it's no surprise she is that dark herself." Vic nodded.
As the two kept on talking though, The Captain wasted no time shooting the ball over to Gaz, who immediately caught it before carefully crossing the bridge in an emotionless state while having Danny Glands shoot his ball cannon right at her repeatedly.
"My goodness, look at the creepy stare that girl's giving out." Kenny pointed out, "That's a stare that can make the Captain wet himself."
"No question there, Ken!" Vic nodded, "It would probably make Guy rethink his life."
Kenny nodded as well before replying, "Well, it's a good thing he's not here to see this."
"Indeed!" Vic agreed.
Gaz managed to evade every single brass ball that was thrown her way, leaving Danny Gland's P.O.-ed as a result, which made him fire his ball cannon faster in hopes that one of them would finally hit her on her way towards the end of the bridge.
He didn't need to bother though as Gaz accidentally tripped her feet on the bridge, which forced her to stumble all the way down on the net.
"And Gaz is suddenly out, Ken!" Vic exclaimed, "That can't feel too good."
"Yeah, I hate to see what she's like when she loses." Kenny replied in a state of fear.
It didn't take too long for the camera to do a close-up of Gaz's face, which resulted in the goth girl exchanging an angry sneer to the camera that made Kenny and Vic shiver a bit in total fear and intimidation.
"Dear god, I'm gonna have chills, Vic." Kenny shivered horrifically.
"We should probably turn the camera away before she does anything disturbing." Vic said out of safety for he and Ken's being.
It wasn't long before the camera quickly switched over to the front of the bridge where a teenager was standing wearing a white shirt that was worn over a small black coat, pink pants, and pink flip-flops while having dark blue pigtails.
"Chloe, stay away from my boyfriend!" Marinette shouted out.
"And next up for the Disney team representing Miraculous Ladybug, it's Marinette Dupain-Cheng!" Vic exclaimed, "By day, she's a high school student, but by breaks and by night, she's a superhero by the name of Ladybug!"
"Didn't that show used to be on Nickelodeon, though?" Kenny said to Vic.
"You're right, Ken." Vic nodded before replying, "But the success of that show forced Disney to pick up the rights to that show completely."
"I swear, Disney reels in some good shows just like fish." Kenny nodded as well, "I mean, they got Doug and now Miraculous Ladybug. That's gotta be Nickelodeon's loss, Vic."
"No doubt they're still stingy about it, Ken." Vic nodded.
Once Marinette got in the middle of the bridge, the Captain immediately shot the ball into her direction, forcing Marinette to catch it before surprising Kenny and Vic by crossing the bridge at a faster pace. This of course left Danny to hesitate by attempting to shoot balls toward her direction, all of them overshooting to the left and right, missing Marinette immediately.
"Whoa, look at that, Ken!" Vic shrieked out in amazement.
"How on earth is she moving that fast, Vic?!" Kenny said, nearly falling out of his seat.
"Her experience as a superhero of course!" Vic nodded, "That speed and agility of hers are definitely being put to good use."
Marinette continued to see balls coming her way tenfold, especially when she somersaulted through them, therefore avoiding them Matrix-style much to Kenny's sudden amazement.
"Whoa, how is she doing that?" Kenny pointed out.
"Well she happens to have a little bit of a gymnastic background, Ken." Vic replied, "Why do you think she had training in the first place?"
"Point taken, Vic!" Kenny nodded.
Marinette managed to swipe to the left, therefore dodging an oncoming ball by just a hair before she made it to the end of the bridge, scoring another big one for the Disney team!
"And that training's paid off, Ken. She's done it!" Vic shouted.
"Yeah, she's making me love gymnastics now." Kenny nodded with a smile.
"I'm sure we all do," Vic nodded back, "And that keeps Disney in the lead!"
After Marinette was done celebrating her victory, the camera shifted back to the front of the bridge where the next contestant was shown wearing a green jacket with the number "10" to the right, black shirt, blue jeans, black sneakers and short brown hair.
"I break for Chicken sandwiches!" Ben shouted out.
"And next up for the Cartoon Network Team, Ben Tennyson from Ben 10: Alien Force!" Vic exclaimed.
"I always wondered what's with the 10 on his shirt." Kenny shrugged in response.
"Well in case you haven't seen the show, Ken!" Vic replied before saying, "It's about a kid who gains a watch from outer space that allows him to transform into ten different aliens!"
"Didn't one of those 10 alien forms turn against him at one time?" Kenny raised his eyebrow.
"I believe it was, Ken." Vic nodded to his partner.
As soon as Ben finally stood in the middle of the bridge, The Captain immediately shot a ball at him, forcing the teenager to do what Marinette did earlier by moving at a faster pace. He managed to make it only several steps before he tripped on his feet, only to hang onto the bridge just in time to avoid elimination.
"Oh my, what a trip, Ken!" Vic gasped in horror.
"Ben better be careful, Vic!" Kenny pointed out, "One little mistake could cost him for his team."
"You make a good point, Ken!" Vic said before seeing Ben get back up on the bridge, "And look at Ben try to get himself back up. You know, he also has a sister who seems to have a big fanbase with the fandom itself."
"Yeah, but only when she got older, of course." Kenny nodded.
"Indeed!" Vic nodded back as he agreed with his partner.
Once Ben finally managed to get back up though, the Captain shot the ball towards Ben's direction, forcing to catch it with his hands in time. He once again took a quick pace, but this time, Ben also managed to maintain his balance on the bridge as well.
"Here he goes again, Ken." Vic pointed out.
"I can only hope he doesn't mess up and trip on his face like last time." Kenny pointed out as well.
"Well, Ben wants to make sure that doesn't happen." Vic shook his head before saying, "He's moving very agile on that bridge."
Kenny nodded before he replied, "He has to be careful to watch his steps, also I would say don't look down, otherwise he'd fall down and drop to the net.
"Very good point there, Ken!" Vic nodded once more before pointing out, " But I don't think you have to worry, Ken, because look at Ben tearing up this entire bridge!"
"Speaking of which, Vic, have you ever noticed that Ben's grandfather sounds like the old fart from Metal Gear Solid?" Kenny smirked over to Vic.
"Kenny, he's not an old fart!" Vic snapped at Ken before hitting him with his fan, "I'll have you know that he's a war veteran."
"Well I wouldn't know much about it, I've never watched Ben 10 before." Kenny explained, "All I know is that he sounds like the commander from Metal Gear Solid, just look it up after the show."
"Then watch it on Hulu, Ken." Vic growled back.
Before Ken could agree on Vic though, the two saw Ben dodge the last remaining oncoming balls before he crossed the end of the bridge, scoring a big one for his Cartoon Network team.
"Hey, the kid scored, Vic!" Kenny pointed out quickly.
"He sure does Ken, another epic run from Cartoon Network keeps them in the chase!" Vic exclaimed.
When Ben was done celebrating his victory though, the camera turned back to the front of the bridge to see the next contestant show up wearing a long-sleeved black shirt, teal jeans, black shoes and possessed long auburn hair that was held up by her teal headband.
"I love tea!" Jazz shouted out.
"And coming up next for Nickelodeon, it's Jazz Fenton representing Danny Phantom." Vic pointed out again, "She also happens to be Danny's older sister."
"She also happens to be an A+ student with the future of becoming a therapist." Kenny said, mentioning the fact face-first.
"Right you are, Ken!" Vic replied.
Kenny then let out a smirk, "I heard that her father can be a little crazy when it comes to hunting down ghosts."
"Kenny, it's practically in his bloodstream, I guess." Vic shrugged.
"I'm not gonna lie to ya, Vic!" Kenny whispered, "But I think some of our interns here were looking at Jazz and Danny's mother inappropriately earlier today."
Vic sighed before reminding Ken, "Well, tell them it's their loss, she's married."
"I think we need to find some new interns!" Ken exclaimed.
Before Vic could agree with Kenny though, the two men saw Jazz catch the ball that the Captain gave her. Jazz then attempted to dodge an oncoming ball coming her way only for her feet to suddenly slip across the bridge, forcing Jazz to fall down to the net and get eliminated.
"Oh, and that didn't take too long, Ken!" Vic shook his head in regret, "Jazz is down into our net!"
"Well what good Jazz had at being an A+ student, she totally flunked out here." Kenny pointed out again.
"It's such a shame, Ken!" Vic said, shaking his head. "Speaking of which, let's go down to Soos and see what's up."
Right after Jazz angrily muttered to herself in defeat, the camera turned it right over to an open field to see Soos standing next to Jazz, who right now felt agitated and P. in response to her defeat.
"Ugh, this sucks!" Jazz said, groaning to herself, "I can't believe I didn't stand a chance, let alone get one!"
"Yikes, I'm sorry to hear that." Soos shook his head, "Can't imagine how you feel right now."
"I feel a little upset, that's what." Jazz nodded before pointing to the left, "I'm more upset than my mom is. She's being bothered by some group of creeps who want to marry her for some reason!"
"I did notice that earlier before the show," Soos nodded out before muttering to himself, "She is a very attractive woman after all, at least that's what your dad told me earlier."
"Oh, la-de-flipping-da!" Jazz rolled her eyes at Soos response, all before turning to the right and shouted, "Hey creeps, get away from my mom! She doesn't wanna marry you all!"
"Whoa!" Soos gulped.
As Jazz left the interview out of anger and frustration (possibly to beat the interns up off screen), the camera turned back over at the studio to see Kenny and Vic looking beside themselves in a nervous, tense fashion.
"Oh boy, I knew it was a bad idea to bring our interns back." Kenny shivered in fear, "I had a feeling somebody would catch on to that, Vic."
"You're telling me, Ken!" Vic sighed in agony.
Kenny looked back at the interns behind him before saying to Vic, "Looks like we're gonna have to fire our interns and get some new family-friendly ones."
"I'll be sure to bring this up to the network after the show." Vic nodded as their bit came to an end.
The camera soon turned it back over to the front of the bridge where the next contestant was shown wearing a green plaid t-shirt, blue jeans, brown boots, long auburn hair and furry hat.
"Pancakes with syrup!" Wendy shouted out.
"Anyway next up for the Disney Team, it's Wendy Corduroy from Gravity Falls." Vic pointed out, "She comes from a family of lumberjacks in which she's the only female of the group."
"I can tell she's the kind of girl that could hold her own against the boys." Kenny
"Right you are, Ken!" Vic replied.
As soon as she got in the middle of the bridge, the Captain shot his ball towards Wendy, who managed to catch it clean with her hands before carefully crossing the bridge with each balanced step she took.
"There we go, she has the ball," Vic said before replying, "Now we'll see what she's capable of against some dangerous firepower coming from our assassins."
"Let's remember this, Vic!" Kenny pointed out, "Wendy took a lot of those lumberjack games when she was a kid, plus her family would train yearly at Christmas time for some odd reason, just to handle apocalyptic scenarios like Weirdmageddon."
"Ah, point well taken Ken." Vic nodded.
Wendy would definitely put that training to good use though as she used the ball in her hands to deflect the oncoming balls that were shooting her way. Some of those hard balls were hitting her hands though, yet not hard enough to let go of the brass ball she was holding.
"Look at her endure the brutal shooting made by our assassins." Vic pointed out.
"She must be stone-cold tough, Vic." Kenny pointed out as well, "I wonder how good she'd be at Circle Jerkers though."
"Well, you can say our interns are glad they don't have to compete in that." Vic nodded to Ken, "Because if they did, Wendy would instantly handle them in record time."
"That's a good point!" Kenny replied.
Wendy continued to deflect more balls coming her way before she made a big giant leap toward the end of the bridge, therefore scoring another big lead for Disney.
"And would you look at that, Ken! She's made it!" Vic pointed out once more.
"Wow, what a big leap by Wendy." Kenny nodded, "I can see why the Disney team needed her around!"
"Right you are, Ken!" Vic agreed, "Let's take a look at that on replay."
Right as Wendy continued to celebrate her victory, the replay of her run was being shown in its entirety, focusing on the part where Wendy used her brass ball to deflect the balls being shot at her.
"Look at Wendy deflect those balls like a stone-cold boss, Ken." Vic quickly pointed out again, "It's like she saw them coming from a mile away."
"Yeah, she really had this challenge in the barrel." Kenny stated.
"And let's not forget that big jump she made when she came close to the end of the bridge." Vic said, also reminding Ken of that moment, "With that, she keeps Disney's lead in the contest!"
"I must say that Wendy Corduroy was made for MXC." Kenny said.
While Vic agreed with Ken on that statement, the replay ended only to switch back to the front of the bridge where the next contestant was shown wearing a blue jacket over a teal tank top with a star attached to it, a teal shirt-coat, blue jeans, pink shoes, whitish-pink hair, and a pearl-shaped gem attached to her forehead.
"I'm not related to a whale!" Pearl shouted out.
"And next up for Cartoon Network, Pearl from Steven Universe!" Vic exclaimed, "Of course, she's one-third of the Crystal Gems alongside Garnet and Amethyst."
"And just so a lot of you watching at home, she is not and I repeat not related to Mr. Krabs's whale of daughter in Spongebob Squarepants." Kenny brought up.
"Thank you for pointing that out, Ken!" Vic nodded, "Even more thankful that she's not even in this episode, knowing if we put the other Pearl in this bridge, the whole entire bridge would be taken down because of her weight."
"Well there's a lot of fans watching our show, who have never seen Steven Universe before." Kenny explained, "So they probably wouldn't know the characters themselves."
"Indeed!" Vic nodded.
As Vic agreed with Kenny yet again, the Captain wasted no time shooting the brass ball over to Pearl, who immediately caught it with her hands before carefully crossing the bridge one step at a time. While she was doing so, she was met with oncoming balls, who immediately pelted her right in the skin although not hard enough to make her let go of the brass ball she was holding.
"And there she goes, willing to take anything that comes her way." Vic replied. "Those balls are as lethal as weapons, Ken."
"All it takes is a lot of durability, Vic." Kenny nodded to Vic.
"That's a good point, Ken!" Vic agreed. "Not to mention a good dose of calcium can make the bones strong. And from the looks of things, she's definitely got a good daily dose of it."
Pearl continued to take the pain coming her way before one of those balls knocked the brass ball off her hands, forcing her to cling onto the bridge in order to keep her balance.
"Uh-oh, she lost her ball, Vic." Kenny gulped nervously.
"It doesn't look good for her, Ken!" Vic shook his head before saying, "But she's still hanging on there."
Once Pearl regained her balance, the Captain shot a brass ball towards her way, forcing her to catch it clean on her hands again before once more crossing the bridge carefully set to another barrage of oncoming balls.
"Okay, she's got another brass ball." Vic pointed out. "I'm feeling very tense watching this."
As Vic continued to watch though, he overheard eating sounds coming next to him. The sound was distracting long enough for Vic to take a break from the action and look at Ken.
"Ken, put down your Cookie Cat and focus on the action!" Vic groaned.
"I'm not doing eating anything, Vic!" Kenny cried out in defense before replying, "Where's that sound coming from anyway?"
It wasn't long before both Kenny and Vic turned around to see Patrick Star sitting right behind him chowing down on a Cookie Cat. It was clear as dirt that Patrick's chewing noises were irritating the heck out of Vic and Kenny's ears.
"Wait a minute, where in the heck did you come from?!" Vic said, shrieking out to the starfish.
Patrick with his mouth completely stuffed, shrugged out in response, "I don't know. I wanted to find somewhere where I could eat these cookie cats."
"Ugh, can somebody get rid of this fat slob so we can at least try to see the end of the run?!" Kenny said, groaning to the backstage personnel.
With Kenny's words spoken true, the rest of the interns and backstage personnel immediately escorted Patrick off the set and out of the studio, forcing both Vic and Ken to sigh in relief knowing that starfish with shorts was gone from their sights.
"Finally, about time…" Vic rolled his eyes.
"How on earth did Patrick get into this studio?!" Kenny shrugged out to Vic.
Vic groaned once more before saying, "I legit don't know, Ken. All I know is that I'm getting a stronger security team next time."
The two immediately went back to watching in action just in time, only to see Pearl immediately cross over to the bridge, raising her hands in victory and scoring another point for Cartoon Network."
"Oh dang it, we just missed the whole run thanks to that brainless starfish." Kenny groaned, "Why didn't any of our interns stop him?"
"They're practically braindead, Ken." Vic groaned in annoyance again.
"This is another reason why we need to get some new interns, Vic." Kenny nodded.
"Point taken, Ken!" Vic replied.
While Pearl continued celebrating her victory however, the camera wasted no time going back to the front of the bridge where the next contestant was being shown. To no surprise, this contestant was nothing more than a humanoid crab who was dressed in a blue work-shirt, blue jeans and possessed large lobster claws.
"I bet all my money that I win tonight!" Mr. Krabs shouted out.
"Anyway, to no surprise to everyone, next up for Nickelodeon is Mr. Krabs!" Vic exclaimed, "He's the owner of the Krusty Krab over at Bikini Bottom, where SpongeBob SquarePants and Squidward Tentacles also work.
"Oh, not this greedy old cheapskate!" Kenny said, groaning angrily in defeat.
"What's your problem with him, Ken?" Vic replied to Ken.
"I have a more than enough good reason, Vic!" Kenny said angrily, "He charged me $10 just for two krabby patties that I was gonna buy for us. That krab totally ripped me off big time!"
Vic nodded as he said, "Ah, I see. Maybe you should've-Kenny, where the heck are you going?!"
He suddenly turned around to see Kenny take off his headset and leave the studio for some reason, therefore leaving Vic alone once again.
"Kenny, you better not be thinking about what you're doing!" Vic shook his head before groaning to himself, "Ah, what's the point? Guess I can't stop him."
The camera immediately went back to the course where Mr. Krabs was standing in the middle of the bridge. Before the Captain could shoot the brass ball though, he was pushed out of the way by Kenny Blankenship, who now took control of the ball cannon.
"C'mon, sonny. Pass me the ball."
Kenny nodded sarcastically before saying, "Oh, with pleasure."
It wasn't long before Kenny shot the brass ball over at Mr. Krabs…
…
…
...who got hit right in the groin, leaving Mr. Krabs heaving in pain!
"Oh, me groin!" Mr. Krabs hissed in pain, "What the… what the heck are you doing?"
"Paying you back, you old d-bag!" Kenny shouted before shooting another brass ball.
This time, the brass ball didn't go for his groin. But instead…
…
…
...it went right for Mr. Krabs's face, breaking his facial features entirely which followed in Mr. Krabs falling off the bridge and flipping himself down into the net!
"My goodness, that was horrendous!" Vic gasped in horror before smirking out, "I totally love it."
"That's what you get, you cracked-up crab!" Kenny shouted to Mr. Krabs as he walked off the course, leaving Mr. Krabs holding onto both his face and groin in pain.
It wasn't long before Kenny Blankenship managed to rejoin Vic right back at the studio, sitting right beside his commentator and friend.
"Oh Kenny, that was delightful." Vic smirked out.
"I'm glad you liked it, Vic!" Kenny laughed, "I think the network's gonna want more of that."
"And no doubt they'll get their money's worth, Ken, as that is our MXC Impact Replay!" Vic nodded out in response.
As Mr. Krabs was laid out unconscious on the net, the MXC Impact Replay of his already-failed run played out in its entirety, showing the part where Mr. Krabs got hit in the groin and then in the face by an angry Kenny Blankenship.
"Yeah, I practically don't have much to say about that one." Kenny nodded, "All I'm gonna say is, I hope that krab gets dipped in melted butter along with a delicious cheddar biscuit."
"That definitely sounds delicious, Ken." Vic nodded as well before saying, "I might have to stop by Red Lobster and get me some crab after the show's over."
Once the replay finally ended, the camera shifted back over to the front of the bridge where the next contestant was shown wearing a leather jacket, leather pants, leather boots and possessed not just a supermodel figure, but she also possessed long brunette hair that definitely made Kenny Blankenship's jaw drop out of tremendous surprise.
"Dad keeps invading my privacy!" Vanessa shouted out before taking off.
"Coming right up for Team Disney from Phineas and Ferb, Vanessa Doofenshmirtz!" Vic exclaimed, "She's the daughter of Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz and also the girlfriend of Monty Monogram."
"Yeah, I can see why Monty's very lucky indeed." Kenny winked, "Look at her, she's gorgeous, Vic!"
"Indeed, she is, Ken." Vic nodded in response.
Once Vanessa stood in the middle of the bridge though, The Captain immediately shot the ball towards her, forcing Vanessa to catch the ball before crossing through the bridge in a quick yet careful way.
"Here she goes, Ken." Vic replied, "She's moving through the bridge very gracefully."
Kenny felt a gulp through his throat before saying, "Well, here's hoping she doesn't move too fast or else she falls down the net."
"I don't think she's gonna have a problem with that, Ken." Vic shook his head pointing out, "Look at her now!"
Kenny immediately looked back to Vanessa as he saw her move her hips side to side, avoiding those oncoming balls from left to right. Danny kept on shooting the ball cannon as furious as he could, but doing so only made Vanessa dodge through the balls ten-fold.
"Yikes, Danny's being a horrible shot here, Vic." Kenny pointed out as well.
"Right you are, Ken!" Vic nodded, "He's not been having a good day."
"This could be an advantage for Vanessa, if she can keep her balance." Kenny pointed out.
"Indeed!" Vic agreed.
Vanessa was able to keep her balance while holding on to her ball long enough for her to cross through the end of the bridge, therefore scoring another point for Disney and leaving Danny P. long enough to punch his ball cannon in frustration!
"And there we go, Vanessa chalks another one up for team Disney!" Vic exclaimed.
"I can tell both her father and her boyfriend will both be proud of her victory." Kenny nodded.
"They sure will be, Ken!" Vic nodded as well.
As Vanessa continued to celebrate her victory though, the camera shifted back over to the beginning of the bridge as the next contestant was shown weaning his signature white lab coat, black boots, purple gloves, blue glasses and orange hair. And not to mention his short stature too.
"Dee Dee, get out of my laboratory!" Dexter shouted.
"And last up for the Cartoon Network team, it's Dexter representing Dexter's Laboratory." Vic pointed out. "Of course, we had him in our studio not too long ago when we were taking part in one of his failed experiments."
"Yeah, it was only when Dee Dee came in and messed everything up." Kenny said, scowling under his teeth.
"That was painful, Ken." Vic said, nodding in disappointment, "I wish I don't have to live that down for as long as I live."
As soon as Dexter got in the middle of the bridge, the Captain immediately shot his ball cannon toward the small scientist.
But as soon as Dexter caught the ball, however, the weight of that brass ball forced Dexter off the bridge and down right into the net, shocking both Kenny and Vic out of their seats.
"Oh my goodness!" Vic shrieked.
"What the heck just happened right there, Vic?" Kenny shrieked as well.
Vic shrugged right away to Ken before saying, "That brass ball's momentum suddenly took Dexter off the bridge!"
"Yeah, I see why it did, Dexter's so flippin' small!" Kenny pointed out, referring to Dexter's size.
"That could be the point, Ken." Vic nodded, "And it's also gonna be another MXC Impact Replay!"
While Dexter still laid himself unconscious on the net, the MXC Impact Replay started to play out his entire run in all of its entirety, mostly showing the part where Dexter caught the ball and forcing the ball's momentum to fall back on the scientist, making him fall into the net.
"You can see the ball's momentum and weight giving way, forcing Dexter to get eliminated in that fashion, Ken." Vic pointed out again.
"I can see that the ball was a little too heavy for a short kid like Dexter." Kenny said, "It reminds me of that episode where Dexter tried to make himself taller to ride a roller coaster, it's like he was cursed."
"Well sadly, you can't change what you can't fix." Vic shook his head.
"That's for sure, Vic!" Kenny moaned, "Life is completely unfair towards good people."
Once that replay finally came to an end however, the camera shifted back over to the front of the bridge where the last contestant of the event was shown wearing a black tank top with a purple circle attached around it, a black plaid skirt with green lines, purple leggings, black boots and medium black hair.
"I hate this." Sam shouted out.
"And last up for team Nickelodeon, Sam Manson!" Vic exclaimed, "She's Danny Fenton's goth girlfriend from Danny Phantom."
"Yeah those two finally ended up together in the last episode, it was such a wonderful moment in television history." Kenny smirked out.
"Right you are, Ken!" Vic replied before seeing Sam stand in the middle of the bridge, "There we go, Sam looking all set waiting for the Captain to shoot her the brass ball."
It didn't take too long for Sam to finally catch the brass ball from the Captain, all before crossing through the bridge carefully focusing on balance other than speed. It was also at the same time that she felt the oncoming balls pounce on her nicely right through her leg, yet it wasn't strong enough to let Sam let go of the brass ball.
"Looks like she's gonna be in for quite a beating." Kenny pointed out.
"Well it doesn't seem to be affecting her, Ken." Vic mentioned. "She's still going and moving."
"I bet her ghostly boyfriend feels the same getting pelted on," Kenny nodded, "Look at the crud he has to clean up from all of those ghosts at Amity Park."
"That's the price to pay for having ghost powers, Ken." Vic nodded.
Sam made it throughout a good portion of the bridge before one of the balls quickly knocked the brass ball in her hands. However, it would only be minor before Sam managed to recatch the ball in her hands, recovering it very nicely.
"Whoa, she almost lost that ball, Vic!" Kenny pointed out.
"Indeed, but that was a good save Ken." Vic replied, "Kept her from falling off the bridge as well."
Despite getting pelted by balls one-by-one, Sam managed to endure the pain long enough to continue crossing the bridge. Realizing she was only feet closer to the end of the bridge, Sam managed to take a couple of leaps without falling right off before reaching the finish line, finally scoring a point for Nickelodeon.
"And there she goes, she's made it all the way!" Vic exclaimed.
"About time Nickelodeon scored something!" Kenny exclaimed as well, "Bet that was too long."
"Indeed, it was, Ken!" Vic nodded, "However, it's still not enough for Nickelodeon to come back though as thanks to the combined efforts from the Disney team, Disney still leads it up 12-7-2."
Once the score was shown in its entirety, the camera scrolled right back to the studio to see both Kenny and Vic sitting in their seats as usual.
"You know, with Disney already in the lead, you think we should pretty much call it an episode anyway?" Kenny said.
"We could do that, except for the fact that there's only one event left, Ken." Vic nodded, "But despite Disney leading the competition, anything could practically happen."
"What's the deal, Vic?" Kenny shrugged before saying, "Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon ain't even gonna come back from this anyway. I mean, Disney's already at the catering room celebrating like crazy, and they're already bringing out those delicious chocolate cupcakes with fireworks sparklers attached to them."
Vic raised an eyebrow before saying, "Ah, do they?"
Kenny nodded before bringing out a cupcake with a sparkler attached to it, "Check it out, these things look awesome."
However, Kenny noticed that one of the sparklers was busy igniting a line that was going down under the cupcake.
"Uh Ken, I don't think that's a sparkler…"
"Really?" Kenny replied before looking at the 'sparkler' closely, "Then why on earth do I smell gunpowder, Vic?"
Before Vic could reply though...
*BOOM!*
The cupcake exploded in front of Vic and Kenny's faces, resulting in both Kenny and Vic feeling very burnt in a cartoonish effect.
Vic coughed up burnt dust right before looking at Ken and growled, "Kenny, you grabbed an exploding cupcake, didn't you…?"
"I didn't know they could do that, Vic…" Kenny shook his head.
"Well, now you know, Ken." Vic said before smacking Kenny with his fan.
Time to tumble on down everyone, because when MXC comes back, let's see if you can survive the domino effect. Crystal clear on that, blockhead?
Yep, Disney could take it all the way, ladies and gentleman. But can Cartoon Network still try to pull off a momentous comeback in the end? Or will Nickelodeon pull off a miracle for some loophole-like reason even though they're completely lacking behind? You definitely don't want to miss the ending, so don't forget to tune in everyone until next chapter. Make sure you R&R and leave feedbacks if you want. I would definitely love it though since this story's pretty much lacking a lot of reviews. Until next time everyone, PEACE!
