Ahem. Alright.

So... how do I go about starting something like this?

I haven't written stories in the past and I don't think I ever want to write stories. I mean, if this mission log goes public, I'm going to try my best to make it a story. Like someone who wrote a shitty fanfiction on Wattpad. Archive Of Our Own. Whatever! Even if I wanted to write a story, I wouldn't know how to go about it. I mean, I can get the exposition right. I can get to the rising action well enough. However, when I approach the climax, I just get sloppy and my skills just look okay. But enough ranting. I started this mission log and I'm gonna finish it.

Oh, and also... I don't think I formally introduced myself to you. For the time being, call me Jax.

I would start from the beginning but... I don't really know much anymore. I'll try to start as early as I can remember...

—–––––––––

Ah... the town center. I would say that I have had a lot of memories in this place if that were true. I don't remember much, if I'm being honest. I only know my name and my friends. Speaking of my friends. I guess I should introduce you to them. We'll start by heading to the local gym.

Local Gym

If you had decided to start off at to the local gym, you would certainly notice a muscular teenager lifting dumbbells that must weight many tons. In actuality, they often only weigh around 300 pounds—or about 136.1 kilograms, if you're not American, Liberian, and Myanmarese. If you have trouble looking for him, he is mainly clad in blue and often wears tank tops or one of many different garments of the light clothing category... and his British accent. He would go by the name of is Vincent. I was fond of him. He was someone I enjoyed spending time with. He himself is never too anxious about many things and is very casual about them. One more thing to note is that his muscles are not overly exaggerated. They are simply just toned and noticeable. At this moment, after letting go of his weights, he opened a bottle that had contained distilled water and chugged the whole container down. Afterwards, he started to taunt the guy across from him on the treadmill through flexing his muscles in many stereotypical bodybuilder poses.

TREADMILL MAN - "Look, dude. You don't have to always flex your muscles when you lift weights."

VINCENT - "I know, I just like to do it so I can show off to some haters and tease them on how they may never be as fit as I am."

TREADMILL MAN - "You were taunting me."

VINCENT - "I know, I know. No need to make a big deal out of it. Look, man. You gotta work on your pectorals through lifting. You're just focusing on your quadriceps by just running."

TREADMILL MAN - "Will that make you stop bugging me?"

VINCENT - "Yeah, that ain't a promise, my guy."

TREADMILL MAN - "Look, just for one day, okay? I get that humiliation is kind of your way of teaching others but some people have it hard."

VINCENT - "Okay, I'll stop."

Vincent had went to sign out of the gym but not before accidentally letting a pen fall and activate the LUNK Alarm. The lightbulb had oscillated in a counterclockwise fashion, being tinted by the blue translucent layering around it as a deafening and annoying siren wailed from the speakers on the bench press area.

TREADMILL MAN - "Dude, really?

VINCENT - "Okay, that was an accident. I genuinely didn't mean to do that."

Vincent went back to the guy on the treadmill to aid him in halting the LUNK Alarm from blaring loudly. Let's talk a little bit more about him before moving on. He is fun to be around with. He is not perfect in any way but he is definitely someone I would want to hang around with more often. Now, let us be in haste. I am actually not looking forward to this part.

Engineering Club

Look, let's just get this part over with, okay? I gotta do some more of this shit, anyways. Some of you reading this may be the type of people who'd want to major in engineering when you graduate from high school. Why not start off at an engineering club? The only con to joining this club specifically is that one overachiever. Her clothes? Yellow really does not look good on her, especially if it's on a T-shirt. Now this girl's name was Lexie. She always takes pride of her work but barely on others though I have heard that when she is proud of others it'll be memorable. I think right now she's trying to use holographs to simulate working electricity. Small purple electricity were seen inside to a box of glass. It wasn't attached to the innovative machine itself but I think it was essentially what the program was running or some shit. I don't know. After that, she went to another workbench to try to help someone else. I have no idea what she's talking about so I'll just write down what she's blabbering about. It was just a video she was trying to watch to get more intel. She started talking now.

LEXIE - "Okay, so here. You want to have your launcher to launch baseballs, ya?"

GIRL WHO NEEDS HELP - "Yes, I do. Now I just need to know ho-"

LEXIE - "Perfect!"

Lexie leaned over to a tablet of some sorts.

LEXIE - "First off, your code is all wrong here. You need to place the procedure that makes the paintball launcher actually launch inside the if-else statement. You may have thought that the procedure would have to go outside of the if-else statement since there really is no condition you need to follow. Well, the condition is that you need to find a target to actually aim for and make sure the paintball doesn't just splash everyone wi-"

GIRL WHO NEEDS HELP - "Are we done yet?"

LEXIE - "Hold on, I'm still not done. Anyways, you just gotta place the if-else statement with the procedure inside the if statement that checks if the lever has been pulled in which that case if it is, you will have to preferably countdown audibly with a text-to-speech add-on and-"

GIRL WHO NEEDS HELP - "That will launch the base-."

LEXIE - "Just shut up for now, okay? It will launch the nasenall into the desired area."

She tapped the tablet once more before looking at the girl who needed help.

GIRL WHO NEEDS HELP - "You just did it for me; you didn't really help me."

LEXIE - "Oh, quit your yapping. I have other stuff to do."

GIRL WHO NEEDS HELP - "Let me test it first before you go."

The girl who needed help went up to the wheel of the launcher to aim towards the wall.

LEXIE - "Man, that was the fourth time you asked me for help in 2 days."

GIRL WHO NEEDS HELP - "I'm just a rookie and you're the smartest person here."

LEXIE - "Yeah, but I also have to help other incels like y- I mean, people who need help."

The girl who needed help had stopped when the launcher was aimed towards another contraption and launched it before Lexie could stop her. It had launched its baseball and Lexie dashed to the contraption just barely missing it—ha, slow—as the pushing force had caused it to fall, the gears coming to a halt and wires sparking inside before smoke started emanating from it. It had also ricocheted off of it and made contact with Lexie, giving her a black eye. She heard the girl who needed help giggling a bit before she turned to her.

LEXIE - "That is so mature of you."

She decided to sign out of the club. Before moving on, we need to talk about her. I have notes that I have to check but I'm just gonna bullshit it. Long-story-short: she didn't like me. I don't know why. I don't like her either because of her attitude. I'm-a waste this mission log's F-bomb. She's fucking annoying. Moving on!

Recording Studio

How about instead of going to those two, you got the chance to listen to a band play their song. Here, we see the band Slamstruck!! play their epic gamer song. There's one person who's rocking the drums and just messing around. Man, I wish I didn't use this mission log's F-bomb earlier... Anyways, his fit? He can pull off the green colorizing and somehow also looks good with a dark vest... the fingerless gloves are supposed to be to keep his hands from aching because he's holding onto the drumsticks for a long time. Se llama Elijah y es una persona genial... yes, I had to look that up in Google Translate, the built-in translator for many languages in the Google search engine. He's a pretty cool guy! Very funny. Its pretty easy to scare him, though. Right now, he's just finishing up his ending solo for the opener of the song. For every time Elijah struck the drum, cymbal, anything, projectors behind him showed parts of the earth jutting upwards until the end where there was a giant explosion!

ELIJAH - "Woooohoo! We're slamming this jam!"

LEAD GUITARIST - "Good work today, everyone. We'll meet up again on Monday."

ELIJAH - "Ah, shoot, I can't do Monday. I got to go to some charity event."

BASSIST - "You mean the forest cleanup thing?"

ELIJAH - "Yeah, that. It's something my mom's making me go to. At least I get to see my other friends there."

LEAD GUITARIST - "Isn't there a way to convince her to let you come here instead?"

ELIJAH - "She already made up her mind. Eh, I'll just record my part and sent it to y'all before the day comes."

BASSIST - "So it's settled."

ELIJAH - "Yep. See y'all in the next rehearsal."

Elijah tossed his drumstick up and it accidentally hit the light switch behind him. He sounded like he walked forward and, oh my God, he tripped over his whole drum set! The cymbals were all toppled over on their sides and the snares has collapsed on him and he was audibly hurt. The bass drum even had a gaping, incredibly noticeable hole in it!

BASSIST - "You should stop doing that."

ELIJAH - "I can't make any promises."

Alright, before we continue, I wanna talk about this cool man for a bit. I like him. He likes me. I don't really have anything else to say except that he gets scared often like I mentioned before. Other than that, he's a cool guy, though he is really prone to many accidents from what I've seen. Before we go on, I need to give him an IGN rating of 10/10: would hang out with again.

Visual Arts Workshop

If you didn't want to go to any of those, there is an after-school art program. There, you'd see someone there that's actually committed to this. She's made many works of art, whether it would be just a quick painting or anime or some shit. She mainly wears pink (or salmon, magenta, or whatever) and almost always wears a skirt. Her name is Gia. I noticed her to be pretty shy, thought I have overheard that she's like... a comforter of sorts. She settles problems and conflicts immediately. That's the phrase. Right, she is just finishing up a painting, gracefully stroking the white plaster canvas with the bristles of her chisel paintbrush, which themselves were covered in a dense liquid with dark red figment. A girl, probably a friend, had noticed her product with clear admiration in her eyes.

POSITIVE CRITIC - "Hey, Gia! That's pretty good!"

GIA - "Well, gee... thanks. I don't really deserve this much attention."

POSITIVE CRITIC - "No, I insist. You really did put a lot of effort into this."

GIA - "Well, it's just... samurai paintings are really cliché and I just wanted to do some practice. The kappa is just there and the geishas dancing behind the samurai was just going to be part of my original piece."

POSITIVE CRITIC - "It doesn't matter if what you're making is a cliché or not. Unless it comes to stories... other than that, it all just comes down to skill. And you have a lot of that!"

GIA - "No, really. I don't really deserve this type of praise. I mean, yeah, it's good, but I really-"

POSITIVE CRITIC - "Nonsense. Don't degrade yourself. You're clearly on a path to success!"

GIA - "Gee... thanks. I'll remember you when I am successful."

Gia went to put her signature on her painting and took a cup to drink from. However, she spat it out after realizing it was water for watercolor paint and backed up into a pile of something. The positive critic was too late to react and couldn't prevent paint containers of some radiant red, beautiful blue, and yell-out yellow to stain many pieces of art.

GIA - "I... am so dead."

POSITIVE CRITIC - "Don't worry. That was the rejected art section. You're all good!"

GIA - "No, that was the work-in-progress section."

POSITIVE CRITIC - "Oh... well... good luck then!"

She dashed out of the building. Gia had tried to reach out for her but the timing was poorly and failed to actually keep her at a halt. Now, this girl, I remember talking to her the least so I struggled to talk to her mainly because she struggled to talk with me as well. At least she didn't give me a hard time unlike Lexie. Overall, she's fun to hang around. With that all said, I've gone over all four of my friends. Yes, four. I'm that lonely. Anyways, I need to show one more thing before moving on to me.

Town Center

Well, here we are at the town center of the city I used to live in. Where are right now is the outdoor café. This is essentially where people go to have lunch with their friends and co-workers. Right now, the four friends I had just talked about were gathering together at a wooden picnic table. Elijah struck up a convo as everyone was getting their lunches out. He took out some good ol' Popeyes chicken from a plastic container.

ELIJAH - "You guys heard about the incident near the woods? Some guy shot himself in the foot. In front of the police!"

Lexie got out some spaghetti and chopped out hot dogs with red marinara sauce and somehow ruined such a great meal (for me, anyways).

LEXIE - "That's all the news are talking about! Channel 2. CNN. Fox News! I hope this dies out soon; it's getting really annoying."

Gia had took out a bento box with chopsticks and set it down carefully onto the table.

GIA - "Was this by accident? I sincerely hope it is..."

Vincent had arrived at the same place his friend group is in with a salad in each hand and set himself down on the bench.

VINCENT - "What are you guys talking about? And what's this about some guy getting shot?"

GIA - "Some guy had shot himself while running from the police."

VINCENT - "Was this on the news?"

ELIJAH - "Yeah! It was crazy, even! The whole time, some policemen were fighting him for the gun and he just, well, shot himself!"

LEXIE - "It's been on the news this whole morning. Didn't you see it?"

VINCENT - "Nah. I was in the gym the whole day. Y'all still going to the charity event in the woods, though?"

LEXIE - "Oh, I wish not. I'm being forced to go by my parents."

GIA - "I just wanna stay at home..."

ELIJAH - "And do nothing all day!? You gotta get on your feet and move around!"

VINCENT - "The whole thing will die down by then, anyways. This whole fiasco is just like that thing with Jax."

LEXIE - "Jax? That guy? The Jax that's dead? The Jax that is really infuriating? That Jax? Oh, don't remind me of him."

ELIJAH - "Hey, Lexie. No need to diss on my boy, Jax, like that. He's a cool guy! I liked hanging out with him."

GIA - "Yeah. I guess he was fun to be with. I mean, he always helped others with stuff. That's something anyone can appreciate."

ELIJAH - "Apparently, everyone except Lexie over here."

LEXIE - "Hey! Look, I appreciate others' help but he just makes me mad for some reason."

VINCENT - "Look, let's just hope he's having a good time and is safe flying high in the heavenly horizons..."

I know for a fact that I am not.

The Woods

I'm actually here. I was hiding out in a pothole that lead to an underground cave with a loyal German Shepherd dog. I was currently sitting by a campfire that I had to make and keep oxidized so it won't burn out. I had a slab for a bed. The only things that I had to keep me sane was an iPhone 6 with a broken screen and a now-dead Nintendo Switch. I mean, I was playing on it for a bit. My Mario was about to combo on a Level 9 Bowser—I don't have Nintendo Switch Online—but my Switch died on me before I could forward air spike him offstage. I'll explain why I have such a luxury later despite my current condition. Right now, I was just thinking about what happened just a couple of days ago.

It was late at night. was running in the woods with my dog. He was running with urgency while I had to hide behind a bush. I could hear more footsteps approaching me but luckily they could not see me behind the shrubbery that had hid me from the brightness that shone through a flashlight held by an officer. Yes, I am on the run. I have been since the start of summer. When I had continuously sprinted through the field, maneuvering past each tree that I could see, I had stopped by the cave and held by dog in my arms. I jumped down the shaft and slid down the man made slide, landing on my feet. After a few seconds of waiting for the chaos to die down, I heard a gunshot. I don't have to explain what it was for anymore since you guys read the conversation between my friends but if you haven't and decided to skip to this part, it was a guy who shot himself. There were some yelling from the coppers but I couldn't make out what they said. I heard a vehicle—most likely a car—driving away and I had to stay here for a bit.

I don't want to reveal any more secrets because I'm uncertain about it. I do want to say that I still remember it like it was yesterday... mainly because it happened almost yesterday. I was sitting down, thinking about many things and asking myself many questions. How do I get out of this situation? How do I get the coppers out of my back?... Will I stay sane? That last question, I knew the answer already. The cave wasn't just a small place to stay in... it was a cavern. There was a tunnel that I hadn't dared to walk in but I still had to keep myself from going insane and the only way from doing so was deviating from my daily routine. Even if it meant risking my life. I grabbed a thick branch and placed part of it in the fire, producing a torch.

My dog had stayed where it was as I continued to make my way down the pitch black cavern with the only light source that wouldn't make my sense of sight useless being the small but raging flames from the thick branch that was being held firmly by my hand. The cavern seemed to be long and never-ending and I was asking myself why I decided to do this. It was for my sanity, yes, but what about my overall safety? Seriously, why would anyone do this? Am I just doing this for the thrill? I can't be mining for diamonds. I don't even have a pickaxe with me. However, like half a minute had passed and I had reached a dead end. I was walking at a very slow pace and I realized I was really only 20 steps away from where I started.

Before I started walking back, I had leaned against the wall to take a small break and my free hand had accidentally laid itself on something. As I started walking back to the main part of the hideout, I had tripped and fell into a pit inside the cave to which I had endured a steep slide and the initial fall had made me jump and scared the hell out of me. It was a long way down and I don't think there would be any ground soon. I mean, if there was ground, I'd be dead. I had nothing to halt my momentum at the moment and the fall I was falling had felt more then 100 feet and definitely not just 10 feet. Suddenly, I started to feel like I had stopped falling though I still felt like I was midair. I presumed this was there so any terminal velocity would be halted for a few seconds to not hurt the user and I was lifted up a bit before landing on the ground.

I held up my torch for a bit to examine the new and mysterious place I had ended up in, knowing there really was no apparent way out. Maybe there would be something down here that I could use to climb out of the pit I fell in. Maybe there would some rocks that I could stack to walk up like stairs. Maybe there would be some vines that I could hook onto a small stalactite that formed from a wall. Yep, this space was big. My torch had run out of fuel as I went back to the hole and I threw the stick on the ground in fury. However, the ground started to light up from my end to the other side. The pattern on it was of a hexagonal type with light blue LEDs that gave the impression of a cybernetic theme and the ceiling lit up with similar LED though the patterns consisted of 4 LED creating an arc instead of hexagons. I guess that was a good idea considering a hexagonal ceiling would be an eyesore.

As I stepped on a hexagon, there was a pulse-like sound with a pitch of C. The next hexagon, I stepped on, it also lit up with a pulse-like sound as well. Only at a different pitch, this one being D. I walked more until I had completed one octave of a C-major scale and 13 hexagons at a zig-zag pattern in front of me became brighter. From left to right, the chromatic scale had played. With that, a rhythm had played and I had the idea to repeat the jingle by jumping on the hexagons. I can't disclose exact details about that phrase of music for privacy reasons but I can say that there were four more patterns to follow and they became increasingly more challenging. Some of those rhythms gave me déjà vu and some of them not. When I completed the fifth pattern, I had ended on the F# hexagon and each hexagon blinked before the rest of the cave lit up and I had to conceal my eyes with my arms to prevent blindness. I did, however, see there would be some type of structure being rebuilt from: a giant circle with some prongs, symmetrical on both sides, and four silver conductors inside. The conductors had started to form electricity and shaped it to create one circle inside the other and it had created some type of blue wormhole that I wasn't so sure about.

Before I could run, however, I was launched in by a hexagon and sucked into the portal, though I caught a glimpse of the light deactivating as I was being brought inside the vortex. Afterwards, the rift closed with me in it.

The Woods in the Outskirts

A few days later, probably a week, a bunch of adults, teenagers, and some children were gathered around at a section of the woods that could hold as much as 100 people even though there were only like 60. There was a forest maintenance guy in front of the crowd with some long plaid blue shirt and shorts as well as a vest, a name tag, and blue vinyl synthetic gloves.

MAINTENANCE GUY - "Welcome, everyone! Thank you for taking time out your lives to help the Earth! Now, I'm Mr. Mandela and I will be your guide for today! Before we start cleaning out the litter in this ecosystem, any questions?"

TEEN 1 - "Yeah! When are we leaving?"

MAINTENANCE GUY - "I'll get to that."

TEEN 2 - "When will we poach deer"

MAINTENANCE GUY - "This is an anti-hunting forest!"

TEEN 3 - "When are we gonna cut down trees?"

MAINTENANCE GUY - "We're not cutting down trees! We are trying to pick up trash left here from people on hikes!"

TEEN 4 - "When will we fight b-"

MAINTENANCE GUY - "Okay! No more questions! We meet back in two hours!"

Everyone left with some trash pickup sticks and some trash bags each. The maintenance guy had looked left and right before taking out some cigarettes that he was about to light. However, one teenager had stayed behind to steal his ciggies, tossing them into the ocean with enthusiasm.

MAINTENANCE GUY - "Hey! I was gonna do a smoke!"

TEEN 5 - "Yeah, maybe try not to smoke?"

Two hours later, everyone came back with mostly full trash bags. The four friends had especially full trash bags.

MAINTENANCE GUY - "Well, done everyone! Now, let's take these to the dump truck waiting outside of the forest!"

Everyone had left their trash bags inside the dump truck though Vincent, Lexie, Elijah, nor Gia hadn't left the forest. The forest maintenance guy banged the side of the truck with medium strength and went inside the truck's front as the crusher at the back of the truck had started up, crushing every piece of trash and compacting it in advance for, like, the dump. Lexie laid besides a tree and sighed.

LEXIE - "I seriously don't get how some people have the audacity to just leave trash wherever they want. I mean, just hold it until you find a trash can!"

ELIJAH - "A lot of people are just lazy. They're probably American."

VINCENT - "Elijah, we're in America. Most of us are American."

ELIJAH - "Yes."

GIA - "Well, yeah. I'm-a head home. You guys hang out or something."

As Gia started walking down the path she slipped and fell into a pothole as everyone couldn't help with witness it. The others raced to the pothole and Vincent popped his head in.

VINCENT - "Gia! You okay!?"

GIA - "Yeah, I'm fine! I landed on some soft cushions of some sorts. I'll find a way back up!"

Vincent tried to get his head back out but it was stuck and he fell inside as well with a soft thud.

GIA - "Bro, you almost landed on me!"

VINCENT - "Okay, sorry. Let's try to find a way out."

Elijah pushed Lexie out of the way and jumped into the pothole with a woohoo, landing on Vincent by accident.

VINCENT - "Dude!"

ELIJAH - "Oh, my bad. I thought you moved already."

Lexie had stood up and walked to the pothole, looking inside before the ground below her gave way and she slid down into the pothole as she lost her balance.

LEXIE - "Well... looks like we're all here."

VINCENT - "Awesome! We have this mound to climb up again."

LEXIE - "We can't. This slope is too steep and not even Vincent can just jump out of it."

Gia turned around and felt something plastic in her hands. It also had a handle as well. She picked it up and went behind her to feel some wood.

GIA - "So there's a conveniently placed gas canister and an unlit bonfire. You think someone was here before?"

LEXIE - "Maybe."

Lexie crouched down to feel the wood.

LEXIE - "Feels like it was just recently chopped down. Anyone know how to light a fire?"

Vincent had taken out some flint and steel he found in the forest and scraped them together for a bit, creating sparks but the fire didn't light.

VINCENT - "Elijah, we need fuel."

Gia gave Elijah the canister and he poured some gasoline on the bonfire. Vincent smacked his flint and steel together again and the bonfire had lit up.

ELIJAH - "Huzzah! It worked!"

GIA - "Now how do we get out?"

Vincent looked to his right and saw a tunnel of some sorts that didn't look like it'd be ending soon. Elijah too notice and felt for something before picking up a conveniently placed long stick. He poured some gasoline on the tip and placed it in the bonfire.

ELIJAH - "Well, might as well. I'm not waiting for my parents to lecture me because I came home late."

Elijah ran inside the tunnel as everyone else followed, trying to stop him. However, he hit a wall and felt the wall in front of him to confirm that it was a wall and not something that wasn't a wall.

ELIJAH - "It's a dead end."

Elijah leaned against the wall and his hand had laid itself on something. Just like I did, he fell into a hole and everyone tried to get it him but couldn't get there in time.

LEXIE - "Alright, I'm not dealing with this again."

Lexie tripped as she was walking back and accidentally pushed Gia into the hole. She fell in the hole as well whilst trying to hold onto Vincent, who fell as well. Everyone was being held up in the air above the ground a bit by some mysterious force and they were dropped onto the ground. Vincent got up first and then Lexie with the help of Elijah and then Gia.

GIA - "Goddamnit, Elijah. Where the hell are we, now!?"

Vincent lunged at Elijah before he could speak.

VINCENT - "Enough fighting. Let's just find a way to get out of here."

As they all tried to check how to get back up the hole, some LEDs lit up behind them. The floor was of a hexagonal pattern and if you hadn't caught on yet, this was the same chamber I had fallen into a few days ago. All of the LED behind had lit up and was pulsating as the portal gateway activated.

LEXIE - "You think we need to get away?"

GIA - "Yep."

Everyone split up and they all hid behind something, whether it was a rock or something from the chamber like a few hexagons that were floating. The gateway looked like something was coming out of it. That thing was me with a big wad of money and I landed on my feet, standing up right after. I can't disclose the amount of money I had so no one would be financially motivated try to do the same thing but some people would try so anyways. I placed the wad of money in my left pocket.

JAX - "Another day's work. Man, I'm loving this."

Vincent had poked his head out from where he was hiding.

VINCENT (whisper) - "Jax?"

LEXIE (whisper) - "He's alive?"

ELIJAH (whisper) - "What's this? What's with this portal thing?"

GIA (whisper) - "I should gather us up to get out of here before he notices."

When she started creeping behind the rocks and hexagons, she noticed something behind Lexie.

GIA (whisper) - "Lexie. Lexie!"

LEXIE (whisper) - "What?"

GIA (whisper) - "Behind you."

Lexie turned around and her eyes widened at the sight of a brown and black German shepherd washing his tail at the sight of another person.

JAX - "You know, I wish my friends were here to see this. They would freak out a lot."

Vincent had crawled his way to Elijah whilst still not being seen.

VINCENT (whisper) - "How did he survive the fall?"

ELIJAH (whisper) - "I don't know. That pothole was too deep for him to land safely."

LEXIE (whisper) - "Nice doggy. Go back to your pack, doggy."

GIA (whisper) - "I don't think he's part of a pack."

LEXIE (whisper) - "Yeah, don't you think I haven't noticed!?"

That sudden rise of voice is what caused my dog to start walking onto Lexie and washing her face off with his sling and grimy tongue. I wish I was there to see it first hand. I was merely just told about it.

ELIJAH (whisper) - "I have a plan. We just go back to the hole and act like we just fell in it."

VINCENT (whisper) - "That's not gonna work... you're trying it now, aren't you?"

ELIJAH (whisper) - "Already am!"

Elijah had crept his way to the hole that I had fallen in to get to the chamber. I put on a black glove with LED in a stereotypical circuit board pattern on my right hand, the light source on my palm, and gestured my right hand upwards, causing a bed frame with a mattress and a blanket and pillow on top of it. I sat down.

JAX - "Sadly, they think I'm dead and it would be awkward now if we saw each other... man, I paid lots of money for this bed."

Suddenly, I heard one hexagon pulsate and to my left there was a pebble being bounced to the left of my vision. I got up, going diagonally forward and to the right, and saw a mound of pebbles. I sighed and turned around.

JAX - "Dog! What did I tell you about leaving mounds of stuff laying around!?"

My dog had went up to me and jumped up on my chest to try and lick my face. I chuckled a bit and set him down. Then I saw a girl lunging at it.

LEXIE - "You're mine, bitch!"

Lexie had to try to grab him but my dog moved away and started licking her face. Gia dashed to the Lexie and helped her up. She looked to her right and saw me standing up with my arms folded.

JAX - "What are you doing here?"

Lexie had gotten up to her feet.

LEXIE - "I could say the same thing to you, Jackie Chan."

JAX - "I live here. I pay electrical bills, water bills, rent even!"

GIA - "Forget that. You're alive!"

JAX - "I am. Now is there anyone else here!?"

I turned around and saw Elijah falling face first apparently falling from the hole. He got up and dusted himself.

ELIJAH - "Well, there you guys are! Where have you been?"

That plan didn't work. I folded my arms to show that it didn't and Vincent came out do his hiding place.

VINCENT - "I told you that wouldn't work."

ELIJAH - "I don't know how it didn't fool him."

JAX - "Maybe it's because your terminal velocity wasn't high enough to activate the program that would keep you in air for a bit, which would in turn prevent you from taking any fall damage."

VINCENT - "Alright, alright. What's going on here? What is this place? What's that giant portal that was just there?"

I turned from Vincent and saw everyone else wanted an answer as well. I regained y composure and cleared my throat. I used the glove in my right hand to set down the floating hexagons that they used to hide behind.

JAX - "This is the Chamber of the Gateway. The C and G are capitalized. It's a place where people who go through that gateway,"

I pointed to the gateway to my right.

JAX - "And go to any fictional universe they want. Mario, Doctor Who, Star Wars, League of Legends, Fairy Tail... whatever! You cannot let other people know about this place."

ELIJAH - "Well, I might slip."

JAX - "Okay, y'know what? Here. What can I do for y'all to keep your mouth shut?"

Everyone considered this a bit, some of them rubbing their chin with their index and thumb.

LEXIE - "Give is a minute."

Everyone except I turned around to huddle.

LEXIE - "Okay, so what do we do? I suggest that we tell him that we will let it slip."

VINCENT - "Yeah, but he may keep us incarcerated here."

LEXIE - "Oh, good point."

GIA - "Maybe we can have him turn himself in? I mean, he can't live illegally."

ELIJAH - "No, that's not it. Maybe we can come with him?"

GIA - "What do you mean?"

ELIJAH - "Like, y'know. Go to other worlds with him."

JAX - "You want to be dimensional hoppers as well!?"

ELIJAH - "Yeah. How did you hear?"

JAX - "You're loud. You're so loud, you could create a black hole that would destroy the entire Solar System. Anyways, if that's what it takes for you to keep your mouths shut then sure."

GIA - "Wait, really?"

JAX - "Yeah. Just- just leave for now. I'll think of something."

VINCENT - "We would but how would we go about doing that?"

JAX - "There's a pathway behind you and to your right."

Everyone turned around and a wall opened up and some of them widened their eyes. They all started to head out of the Chamber through the secret pathway.

JAX - "Before you go."

Vincent and Lexie turned around for a bit.

JAX - "If you come back tomorrow, you'll officially be bound to be a dimensional hopper for life and you can't back out when you do. Tell the others.

Lexie started walking again and Vincent gave a thumbs up before walking again.

GIA - "Okay, what did we just agree to?"

ELIJAH - "We're gonna become dimensional hoppers that'll meet many different characters."

LEXIE - "Okay, but when we do, we're gonna be jumping through dimensions for life. I don't know how I'm gonna deal with such a thing."

VINCENT - "Okay, look. You guys may not be committed to this but I am. He's our friend. He's probably been hiding out here for a while and even though he looks like he's living a life of luxury, comfort doesn't come without risk and struggle. I don't know about you, but I'm coming back here by 3 tomorrow."

I had summoned a console using my glove and I pressed some buttons, activating the Gateway as a portal opened up.

JAX - "Now, then."

The portal had fully opened up and I stood in front of the Gateway."

JAX - "Where should we go first?"
