Learning the Truth
Chapter 1
Optimus Prime had finally become happy since arriving on Earth, and he had met a human female who had stolen his spark. He was still on alert of the Decepticons, but he had been on high alert since the events from Egypt. Especially since Megatron had killed him once already, Sam had revived him with the Matrix of Leadership, which he carried with him now.
Optimus and his mate Wendy had a daughter, and that daughter, her name was Anna. She was Optimus' pride and joy. However, his nanites had made her and his mate stronger. So, they could not go to a regular doctor outside of the base because of that.
Optimus had glanced around his and his mate's quarters; she had decorated it so well. It amazed him how she could transform a mere room into such a joyful sight.

Meanwhile, in his daughter's room, Anna was angry once more, and her mother was trying to ease that anger down once more.
"I want to go out, mom; why can't I go out, dad beat back Megatron, so it's safe, right?" Anna asked.
Wendy sighed.
"Your dad doesn't want you off of the base, Anna," Wendy said firmly as said mech walked in.
"Daddy, I am being stifled, please let me go out!" she pleaded.
Optimus was trying to protect his daughter which was why he did not want her off the base at night at all.
"I am trying to protect you," Optimus said.
"Daddy, I am a big girl, I am 18," she said as Optimus rolled his optics here we go again he thought.
She was going to play the I am a big girl card on him, Primus help him, he was being driven crazy by his own youngling.
"Anna, please understand I still have enemies out there, you are safer here," Optimus said as Anna growled and grabbed her leather jacket and went outside and caught sight of Mudflap and Skids and she smirked.
She ran over to them, and they looked at her.
"Hey Anna," they said.
"Whatcha doin?" Skids asked.
"I'm bored and I have to get out a bit, wanna help me?" she asked.
"Does it involve being sneaky?" Mudflap asked.
"Very," she answered.
"Count us in," they both said as Ironhide watched from afar wondering what they were up to.

"Gotta be like ninjas," Skids said, looking around and being sneaky.
"Then shut it," Anna said. "I'm trying to sneak out, not get caught."
"There's a blind spot in the cameras. Go to that crate," Mudflap. "There's a hole behind it. Ya can sneaks out there."
"Thanks you two," said Anna. "Now scam before you get me caught."
Anna put up her hood, going to the large crate. There was enough room for her to sneak out. And she did, crawling through the hole in the fencing. She had a duty to do after all. One she couldn't tell her parents at all. Or anyone. She made sure she had her stake in her hoodie, going out into the town near the base to go hang out in the graveyard.
"Well, another night out slaying," Anna said, finding a bench shaped headstone and sitting on it. "I hope there's some action tonight."
"There is."
Anna turned to see a vampire behind her. She rolled her eyes, sighing heavily. He looked like one of the weak ones. She hated the weak ones. She needed a challenge.
"Let's get this over with then," Anna said, flipping up and over the vampire. She spun him around and was shocked when he grabbed her with a strong grip. "Not so weak, are you?"
"Unlike you," the vampire said, twisting her arm around, forcing her body to turn as well so her back was to him.
"Damnit! Let go!" Anna growled.
"I don't think so," the vampire said, gripping her arm more.
'Not good. If I get bruised, mom and dad will know for sure I went out,' Anna thought. She threw her head back, hitting the vampire.
She spun around and stabbed him with her stake. The vampire poofed to dust. Slow clapping behind her caught her attention. Anna whipped around, glaring at who was there.
"Who the hell are you?" Anna asked, glaring at the man.
"My name is Rupert Giles. I am a watcher. Your watcher to be clear," said Giles.
"Watcher? The hell is that?" Anna questioned.
"So many questions, but you also have such a fiery temper," said Giles.
"Yeah, so? What about it? Got a problem with that?" Anna snapped.
"You are skilled in slaying vampires. I am here to train you more," said Giles.
"Good luck with that," Anna mumbled.
"I already know you snuck out," said Giles. "Brave move."
"Oh, like you would know," Anna growled. "I'm not interested."
"Even if it means you will get stronger?" Giles asked.
"Stronger?" Anna asked. She thought, humming. "I'm listening."
~~~two hours later
"Frag, I have to get back home," Anna cursed, looking at her phone.
"Then you best be going. I will meet you here again," said Giles.
"Fine, whatever," said Anna, walking back to the base.
"I do mean it. You have much to learn," said Giles.
"Yeah, yeah," said Anna.
"Before you go, take this," Giles said, handing her a small box.
Anna caught it, looking inside. There was a phone inside.
"It has my contact in it. I will message you on this," said Giles. "And feel free to call any time you want."
"Gotcha," said Anna.
"I'll be seeing you in town as well," said Giles.
Anna looked behind her shoulder to him, giving him a dead stare.
"Seriously? Alright, whatever you say. See ya Giles," Anna said, jogging off.
When she got back to the base, she snuck back in through the hole. She went around the back, going into the main hanger.
"Freeze youngling," Ironhide said, flashing his lights on her.
"Eeep!" Anna turned around, seeing her father's bodyguard. "Ironhide."
"Where have you been?" Ironhide asked.
"Around. What do you think?" Anna asked.
"I think you were sneaking off base again," Ironhide said.
"Whatever. I fell asleep on the roof. I'm tired. So night," said Anna, heading back. She felt herself get picked up, hanging in his digits. "Hey! Let me go Ironhide before I kick you aft!"
"You can try," Ironhide said. "If I found out you snuck off base, you'll be answering to your sire."
"Yeah, yeah. Now let me go! I'm tired and I get grumpy when I'm tired," said Anna. She was placed back on the ground.
She headed back to her room, getting in her bed. Luckily it sounded like her parents were busy interfacing so they didn't notice her absence or her return. And that's the way she wanted to keep it. She pulled out the phone Giles gave to her. He was strange, but he did teach her a lot of stuff tonight. Maybe she would give him a chance while she kept her secret hidden from her family.
