Author's note

Yo guys and gals, anyone who decided to read this, first things first I want to say I'm sorry for not updating in almost a year, unfortunately I just didn't have the mind set to write anything for awhile, my dad passed away last year in May, and so I guess I kind of was depressed a little bit I didn't really do anything but work, sleep, and eat like a machine. But recently I've been feeling good, so I wanted to bang out this chapter real quick hopefully I can get another one out next week or possibly this weekend. Hope you Enjoy reading this I got a killer idea on where to take the next chapter please look forward to it.

Emiya Estate

"Is that so?, and who just might this Kiritsugu be?" Archer asks.

"He was the man who saved my life when I was just a kid, he saved me from the brink of death from a disaster that no one could have seen coming." "He trained me and taught me magecraft beacuse I told him I wanted to be a mage just like him, he was my hero, my ideal." replied Emiya.

Archer scoffs at the mark and the word "Ideal", Archer then commenting.

"And let me guess you want to be a hero as well, Is that why you trained so hard to the point of near break just so you can save people who probably don't even deserve it?"

"Yeah that is right I push my self everyday to my limit, So that I can improve and perfect my skills so that when the time comes I too can save people." Emiya states.

Upon hearing those words, especially coming from him a smirk forms on Archer's face as he gives out a slight chuckle and makes his way to the door passing Emiya but stops in the door way before stating with his back turned to Emiya.

"One day you will find that you can't save everyone, and if you try in the end you will only be left with regret. Trust me when I tell you this."

Hoping to anger Shirou with these words his plan backfires and it is he instead that is left stunned with his reply.

"I know I can't save everyone, but I will save those who ask for help by any means, the last Grail War ended in disaster all because a mage had wished upon the grail causing nothing but death and suffering, countless lives were lost for no reason. I can't sit by and let that happen again or anything close to it." " Now I answered your question how about you answer mine?"

Archer still in the door way doesn't say anything for a few seconds but replies to Emiya.

"Your question will only be answered by time, there is no definite answer I can give you because I my self don't know the answer."

Archer tells Emiya lying of course not knowing how he would react if he told him that it was his future as he fades into astral form leaving Emiya alone in Kiritsugu's room. Rematerializing on the roof and thinks to him self that the whole situation is wrong.

"He trained him properly, and he even admits that he can't save everyone. This is not how I remember my past self being."

Archer frustrated that his plan to eliminate his past self so that the Heroic Spirit EMIYA is never born may not work with his current mind set.

In The kitchen

Emiya returns back to the Rin and Saber who were sitting down at the table awkwardly looking at each other.

"Ok so who is hungry?" Emiya ask the two.

*GROWL* *GROWL*

Emiya and Rin both look at Saber who blushes out of embarrassment.

"I thought servants didn't need to eat, I guess I was wrong." Rin states as Emiya chuckles making his way to the kitchen.

"Its true us servants don't require food to survive... but we do enjoy the taste of food." Saber replies blushing with her face down.

And just as Saber finishes speaking Emiya drops a plate with food in front of her and Rin and all three of them enjoy a dinner together, forgetting that only moments ago Saber was about to slash Rin with her sword ending her life.

Rin is amazed at how good the meal tasted.

"Oh my gosh that was really good, Its better than any restaurant in the city that I've ever been too." Rin states.

Saber following up with.

"Indeed, when I was alive the food we ate had barely and flavor, this was a god send compared to what we ate."

"Really?, that's to bad. Glad you guys enjoyed it." Says Emiya as he puts a kettle on for tea. Rin the softly clears her throat.

"So Emiya I'm sure your wondering what exactly is going on then I presume?" she looks to Emiya with a look waiting to drop a bomb shell on him.

"I already know what is going on, the Holy Grail War right?, that's not what I wanted to talk about. I want to know if you have anything to do with the bounded field around the school, I know that you and the Matous are mages." Emiya tell Rin.

"WHAA?.. how could have possibly known I was a mage, more so how could you know about the Holy Grail War that is a highly kept secret even among top mages.

"My dad Kiritsugu was a master in the last Grail War he told me all about them, he also told me the names of the top mages here in Fuyuki." Emiya answers.

"Hold on did you say Kiritsugu? I've read old reports of him, they called him the Mage Killer. how could he have been a master I would say he far from being a real mage. The methods he used were so unmage like, and more like a gun for hire mercenary." Rin says.

Emiya a little offended that she wouldn't consider him a real mage retorts to Rin.

"Well this hardly of a mage made it to the end of the last grail war being one of the final masters. Now tell me what you know about the bounded field.

Getting angry at what Emiya had just said Rin smacks the table and stands up arms folded across her chest.

"Ughh whatever I don't have anything to do with the bounded field at school and neither does Sakura." Rin says as she flips her hair at Emiya showing herself to the door."

"How do you know for sure?" Emiya asks before she leaves.

"Trust me on this consider it repayment for tonight's encounter you have my word as a mage." Rin replies to Emiya as Archer jumps from the roof besides Rin.

"Just know next time we meet Emiya, don't expect any mercy from me got it?" Rin tells Emiya as Archer picks up his Master and leaps into the night leaving the Emiya Estate.

"Don't expect any mercy from me neither." Emiya says out.

Little to anyone's knowledge that was present at the Emiya Estate a certain witch was observing the whole show between Archer's and Saber's master.

"Sweet boy, when I'm done with you, you will beg me for mercy."
