Jesus, I took a long time to update the chapter and I'm sorry for the mess that is in the previous chapter. Ok to the chapter now.
The dungeon where Connel and Norvis were last time:
The ground was full of dead rotten corpses with most having different types of armor some with leather and a handful with even diamond armor but there's something in common with all of the armor that they wear is that all look extremely used and craked and there are even some pieces of broken armor on the ground but ignoring the corpses two people are having a calm conversation
"God, fucking dammit we just had a single diamond armor drop in what fifteen zombies with diamond armor, and worse it sucks a lot it just has lesser protection II and that's it even the iron armor I'm wearing is superior thanks to being tinkered and its superior enchantments."
"Ohhh," Norvis mumbled and he was starting to remove his armor to wear the better one in his mind that is the diamond armor but Connel's words disincentivized him from going with it.
"I can melt the armor for a single diamond and that is less than the cost of all the bullets I used in the fight right now!"
Connel looks at the zombie that he obtained the armor from the zombie in question is lacking a head and massive wounds on his body as If it were hit by a powerful force.
"grrrr" a nearby knocked-out zombie growls but its head is immediately stomped into smithereens by Connel and after his death, two different kinds of orbs flew out of the body one blue and one green, the green orb shortly glid to Connel and gets absorbed by Connel's body.
"At least the experience was decent." He said despondently.
"Connel don't be so bummed out we have more rooms to explore in the dungeon"
Norvis explained to his colleague to animate him.
Connel nods "That is true just let me see what this one dropped and continue to move" as he explained he had hunched over to grab the blue orb and analyze the contents by giving a subtle shake to the orb and the blue tint started to lose color until it showed to what was inside, a blue chest piece spinning in the center of the orb.
Conner nods and calls Norvis that he's ready to go.
Both started to go in a random direction of the corridor and slaying any mob that got in the way until they arrived at the entrance of a big room.
Norvis steps in but is interrupted by Connel."Wait I think this is a boss room."
Connel after his explanation he goes and grabs the body of a dead mob and throws it in the room, as the body flew a giant claw cut the body in half and made a giant cut on the dungeon floor.
"Welp sucks to be that guy," Norvis let out to the halved body.
"True..., I think the boss is the princess... Let me see in the book, Jabberwock they use the hooked claws to give the weight effect on its foes the wight effect prevents jumping and makes falls more deadly." Connel read his bestiary loudly to Norvis.
"That is good and all but can we defeat it?" Norvis asked as he is unsure if they are strong enough to fight a boss as he heard his mother stories of when she battled with Dungeon bosses and they all appear to be reasonably strong and He and Connel are just young adults that still are developing their strength and are too weak to even get on the main raid forces and Norvis literally just got out of his homeschooling sessions with his mother three weeks ago.
"Norvis don't get flustered about fighting the boss, I fought with some bosses during my years...of pratol here with some seniors, I fought some bosses that they thought of as weak monsters and while this boss is not the weakest, but is still manageable to fight just think of fighting a teacher when you were at school."
"Connel I was homeschooled..."
"That might be a problem but you still got drilled in combat by a stronger person so is almost the same. Ok let's stop talking and go, I have a plan against this highness."
After Connel explains the first part of his plan Norvis announces that he cannot help the first part of the plan.
"That is unfortunate but we just need one of them to distract the weak grunts while we focus on the boss fight, which I can do, so don't worry about it, where was I?"
After Connel tells the rest of his plan a strange mist-like substance started coming from Him and separated into three separate veils of mist and began to take different forms and gaining color one pink, one diamond blue, one dirt brown color, they are Connel's soul pets! All are Elementals like a Nymph, geonach, and he even possesses a vapula that are rare, the geonach looks to be made out of rock, and one of the elemental arms is a giant spike the vapula is similar to the geonach but with a blue tint and some crystals here and there but the most eye-catching is the floating crystals on its back, as for the Nymph she is the most humanoid of the three elementals with butterfly wings on her back she looks more like elytrian that decorated their wings than a normal Nymph.
"Distract the weaklings, and help us fight when you are done or when there are no enemies to fight against!"After Connel orders, his pets, make a running pose and look at Norvis doing the same, and then at blinding speed, they blast off to the boss room Norvis has to slow down for Connel to catch him but they are incredibly fast to the point that if a byke was in front it would be scared shitless to see two armored people as fast as a horse speeding towards him.
'Rawrrrr' The princess roars to the raiders rushing at her and tries to slash at The nearest one that is Norvis at a surprising speed considering her immense stature he dodges the attacks aimed at him and tries to flank her but she just continues to attack him and distract him from his part of the plan.
"Hey you ugly scoundrel look here" Connel shouts and even shots the boss her in the face with a weak amount of success at damaging her at most splitting the skin of the boss but at least gets the job of distracting it from Norvis and the plan is set in motion Norvis looks for the agreed target and when he locks on it he rushes to give the hurt he raises his saber to cut on The princess Achilles heel but she notices it and protects it by making some distance from him but she falls to Connel counter plan.
"Haha don't forget I'm here you scoundrel!?" Connel shouts at the Boss and throws his recently drunk Strenght potion away and leaps at her and successfully hits her knee with his Warhammer and a loud shockwave that upbrings all nearby dust to the air and rattles the ground, that was the power of Connel's hit with a strength potion and fortunately, the Knee gives in, bending in the wrong way in a sideways v but the Boss still stands her ground even with a bent leg like that by using one of the arms as a platform to stay afoot, She looks at the one who caused the immense pain to her in anger and retaliates at the dumbfounded Connel that Expected her to fall with that one strike he barely dodges the claw just by hair length of hitting him.
"A tough one we have here!'" Connel shouts in anger that his plan of making her fall in one hit.
As Connel was making another plan to defeat the still standing Boss in his peripheral vision he sees Norvis stealthily rushing at the boss and Connel knows that he trying again to cut her tendon and the need to do it fast he can see that the broken leg is starting to slowly heal back to position so he starts shooting again at her with his diamond-tipped rounds in great pain as these are really expensive but do the work at piercing the boss skin and doing a lot of damage to her and principally distracting her from the advancing Norvis.
'Rawrrr' The princess once again screams in pain and unexpectedly leaps for Connel and he is unfortunately hit squarely in the chest and a massive gash appears on his chest flyes against the wall and becomes embedded in the wall his Nymph saw this and wanted to help his master but a mental command said to get back to the fight again by his master so she retreats to start fighting the hordes of mobs that came from the entrances.
The princess seeing the feisty one that broke her leg being hit and flung her she assumes that he is dead all the previous foes that strumbled upon her domain died in one hit so she believes the same happened here, and now she just needs to kill the other one she thought of that until she felt extreme pain on her heel and she falls as she loses the strength of her right leg.
As Connel felt his burning chest burning in pain he noticed that he was stuck in place but he starts using more force on his arms and he gets some movements from his limbs and takes note if he broke something, after checking himself he decides to leave the wall he's stuck in and pushes himself off the wall and shakes his head off of dust and looks at his chest wound that is starting to close and winces at the destroyed cut on the armor and then he sighs and looks at the one responsible for it and just in time to see Norvis Cutting the Boss Achilles tendon and it falling down.
"Good job Norvis I take the rest from now on"After his response, he hastens close and immediately speedbuilds upwards, and when he's done jumps downwards against the Princess aiming at her head, and when the hit connects there is another shockwave but one even more, powerful than the previous one wich even split the ground and the one that received the brunt of the attack is in a terrible state with a caved skull, broken jaw and an eye that got squeezed out but incredibly she is still alive even with such heinous wounds.
"Huuuuh so how do we finish her?"Norvis asked as he looked at the trashing princess.
"Just wait it will die in time... I hope so?"
"I have a Bow and some arrows we can end her with those."
"Alright then do it, you can get the experience I will rest a little"
I want to make some things clear that Connel and Norvis are antagonists (even if they are not bad people themselves) because the group they work for is a terrible faction that steals and raids innocent people, not as barbaric as the saderan but similar.
The Main Nation of the story is still unnamed as only a city of them was mentioned one time before.
Now I will explain what overlords are for context: They are the head-leaders of the Minecraft world nations and equivalent, there are two types of overlords one is a person that became an overlord with high intelligence and the second are when they are extremely powerful usually at the max strength rank, yes there are some powerful overlords with brains but those are the uncommon and most got stronger later.
A good example of overlords is the skyraiders leader and he's the second type of overlords.
The political structure will be explained in later chapters.
Possible spoilers:
The plans I have for falmart are that the skyraiders will get to falmart first and make a Secret FOB in falmart and the FOB leader will be Connel and some future character that will appear.
And many hostile mobs will pass the gate and two different dragons will go through the gate as one evil and another neutral first too.
Connel will show to be a talented leader on this mission that he got himself into.
The leader of the skyraiders will be mentioned and hyped for until his appearance when he comes up I want it to be a remarkable chapter.
Really heavy spoilers next(It has some spoilers that can ruin some surprises that I have in mind in the future.):
The JSDF and NATO will be in the story.
And they are gonna have a bad time mainly in the USA(Cause I don't like the Darryl Character).
I am pondering If the battle of Italica will be against the skyraiders or a mob raid or even both.
