Last Chapter: 'I hold my hand out to him.

"Friends?"

He nods, and shakes my hand.

We both smile.'

-A Few Months Later-

Dipper's POV:

I wake up, rubbing my eyes tiredly.

After a few moments, I sit up and hit the 'snooze' button on my alarm.

I sit up, groaning.

I stumble out of bed and nearly fall flat on my face, when my sheet, still tangled to my legs, tries to trip me.

I kick it off and go into my bathroom, forgetting to get clothes.

I shut the door and fumble, getting my clothes off.

I step into the shower and shut the slider door.

I turn on the water and yelp when a cold stream hits my body, before warming.

"Well, I'm definitely awake now," I grumble.

I start by washing my hair.

I think about what's been going on the past few months, since being reacquainted with Bill.

Flashback:

It all started out kind of awkward.

I continued to try and convince Bill that I forgave him.

After a while, he finally got it through his thick skull.

Though, while I was still trying to convince him that I wanted to be his friend and that I forgave him, I had forgotten to call Paz and let her know how things were going.

So, one day she had shown up unannounced, and Bill had answered the door, since I was in the shower.

She asked him where I was and he told her that I was in the shower.

Bill was shirtless at the time and Paz made some assumptions.

When I came downstairs after getting dressed, she told me that I had worried her.

I told her that I forgot and that I was sorry.

Then she asked me, if the reason that I had forgotten had been because of my boyfriend.

She said this while motioning to Bill.

Bill and I had both blushed.

Then I told her that Bill was just a friend.

She had noticed his eye patch and hair, and with his name... Well she put the pieces together.

She asked me how I could be friends with him after all that he had done to us, and Bill had looked to the floor in shame.

I defended Bill telling her how she didn't know anything about him, or why he did what he did.

A big argument ensued.

After Paz left, Bill told me that it would probably be better if weren't friends, because he thought he was ruining my life.

I told him off after that and screamed at him a bit.

After I had re-convinced him that I wanted him in my life, he had cried himself to sleep in my arms.

The day after, Paz had come back and apologized.

She gave me a chance to show her why I forgave him, and so I told her everything.

How he went insane because he had to send his brother to another dimension to protect him, and for a century the only emotion he got from his brother was pain. It hurt him deeply and drove him over the edge and that's why he did what he did.

Paz apologized to Bill, and then shortly after we all started hanging out together.

Paz and Bill became great friends.

We all kind of developed a sort of routine after that.

On Tuesdays and Saturdays, we go and eat at a cafe where Lazy Susan's used to be.

Then we come to my house and watch a movie and eat dinner together.

We even got to go to the fair together last month.

We occasionally do karaoke nights on Fridays or Sundays.

And we sometimes have picnics in this really pretty meadow in the woods.

So, we all pretty much hang out a lot.

Bill and Paz sometimes sleep at my house too.

I still have to tell them that I'm a published author.

In fact, that's how I afforded to come back here and get a house.

Flashback End.

Right now it's Tuesday, so I'm getting ready to go to the cafe.

I quickly finish washing my body and step out of the shower, steam exiting and fogging up the mirror.

I pat my body and hair dry.

Then I brush my teeth and gurgle some mouthwash, before walking back into my room.

I walk over to my dresser and pick out a navy blue and white flannel, a light blue shirt, jeans, socks, and some boxers.

I turn around and give an 'EEP!', when I see Bill sitting on my bed.

We both blush.

I rush back into the bathroom and change into my clothes in there.

Then I come out and grab my shoes, putting them on.

I glare at Bill.

"Why didn't you warn me that you were in here?"

Bill stutters, his cheeks becoming a flaming red," I-I didn't know that you would c-come out in only a t-towel!"

A sheepish smile makes its way onto my face.

"Oh."

Bill ducks his head in embarrassment.

I walk over and sit beside him, playfully ruffling his hair.

"It's fine Bill."

He looks up, red-faced.

I smirk.

I point behind him.

"Is that the ticklemonster?"

He looks behind him, and no, it's just a stray sock that's not in my basket.

He starts to turn back around.

I tackle him and start tickling his sides.

He starts thrashing and laughing.

"P-p-p-please s-stop!"

He keeps laughing.

I say, "I dunno if I should."

"P-p-please!," he exclaims, gasping for air.

After a few more more moments, I finally relent, still smirking.

After catching his breath, he jumps up, looking at me.

"Why you little... I'm gonna get you for that."

He moves to tackle me, but I dart quickly across the room.

He chases after me and I laugh.

We actually run all the way to to cafe.

I burst through the doors and rush over to our usual booth, where Paz is already waiting.

She arches an eyebrow at my sweaty appearance and heavy breathing.

I'm not quick enough though, because Bill tackles me to the floor and starts tickling me back.

"B-b-b-bill please!"

He exclaims, "Never!"

I'm thrashing and laughing like he was.

"P-p-please!"

He tickles me for a few longer moments than I did to him, and then he lets me go.

I pant, slowly catching my breath.

Bill offers me a hand up, and I take it.

Paz just giggles.

He pulls me up into a standing position and then sits down.

I sit beside him.

Paz asks, "What was that all about?"

Bill answers first, "Dipper tricked me to look behind myself, and the next thing I knew I was tackled and being tickled."

Paz laughs.

"Ah. So it was revenge."

We both nod at the same time.

A waitress comes and takes our orders.

Bill orders waffles with syrup and a dash of cinnamon, some scrambled eggs, some bacon, and some orange juice.

Oh god.

I created a monster.

Paz orders some over-easy eggs with grits, some pancakes with butter and syrup, and she also gets some orange juice.

Lastly, the waitress turns to me, with her notebook and pen ready.

I say, "I want some Waffles the way Bill ordered them."

I motion to Bill.

She writes it down.

I continue, "I also want some bacon, scrambled eggs, and orange juice. Please and thank you."

She nods, writing it down, then walking away.

While we wait, we pass the time with some idle chit-chat.

-Time Skip-

The waitress comes back with our food and drinks in ten minutes.

We all thank her and happily dig in.

She nods and walks off.

-Thirty minutes later-

Paz puts her napkin on her plate, and a few bills for the tip.

She tells us that she has to go to work now.

We say our 'goodbyes' and 'see-you-laters' and then she leaves.

Bill and I start trying to finish our food.

I'm just wiping my mouth, about to pull my wallet out, when two suspicious looking guys walk in.

They walk up the counter and whip out their guns, pointing them at the cashier.

They demand all the money in the cash register.

The cashier, pale tremendously and tries to open the cash register, but it won't open.

One of the guys jumps over the counter and shoots it.

The cashier screams.

The guy opens the cash register and starts emptying it into a bag.

Bill tries to hide me behind him the best that he can.

After the guy empties the register, he throws it to the ground.

They leave the cashier lady alone, but they start walking around the restaurant demanding everyone to empty their wallets.

They start to, but apparently they were being too slow.

All of a sudden, I find myself being lifted up before Bill can even react.

One of the guy pulls me to their chest and demands for everyone to do it faster of they'll kill me.

I'm frozen in shock.

And all I can think is, "Why me?"
