Last Chapter:'I would get up, but Bill is so warm.
I yawn, sleepily.
I pull the blanket over the both of us, and my eyelids start to flutter.
I tiredly listen to Bill's light snores, until I drift off to sleep as well'
Dipper's POV:
I blink my eyes open, to the harsh glare of the morning sun.
I close my eyes and try to roll over.
Only, I can't.
I'm trapped against something.
I blink the tiredness out of my eyes, rubbing my face.
Only to pull it back in confusion.
It came away wet.
I look over my shoulder and I see a blonde haired guy there, dressed a lot like Bill Cipher.
Then I suddenly remember what happened yesterday.
Flashback:
Me walking back to my house, after having bought some things for my new house.
Me getting stopped halfway home, by this guy, who looked a lot like Bill Cipher.
Me realizing that this guy was actually Bill Cipher.
Bill showing me his memories, looking all for the world like I wouldn't understand or forgive him.
Me forgiving Bill.
Bill crying in my arms, eventually falling asleep.
Me getting tired and too lazy to move.
Me grabbing one of the blankets that I had bought and covering us both with it.
Me not wanting to move because Bill was so warm.
Me falling asleep beside Bill.
I come out of my flashback, flushing deeply red as I realize that Bill's arms are wrapped around me.
I roll over the other way.
I see Bill sleeping so peacefully, a smile on his face.
Bangs covering his eyes.
Before I know what I'm doing, I reach out and gently push his bags away from his eyes.
My hand, again, moves with it's own accord and lightly caresses his cheek.
He mumbles in his sleep, "Pinetree~"
I freeze, blushing brighter.
He doesn't wake up though.
I try to duck under his arm, but he pulls me closer.
I squeak.
I turn back towards him and shake his shoulders.
"Bill. Wake up."
He grumbles in his sleep, rolling over and taking me with him.
A frustrated noise tears itself out of my throat.
He pulls me even closer and we're almost nose to nose.
"Bill freaking Cipher I swear to freaking god!"
He just grumbles again.
At this point, I just wack him on the head with my hand.
His eyes fly open.
"Fiiiinnnnaally!"
Only, his eyes close again.
"Oh my freaking god!"
I try to ignore my embarrassment.
I just pretend that it isn't there.
I struggle to stand up, only managing a crouch, before he pulls me back down.
And now I'm sitting on top of his legs.
I grab his shoulders and shake him until he actually wakes up.
He takes one of his hands from around me and rubs his eyes.
He grumbles,"What time is it?"
I reply,"I don't know. Can you please let me go now? I'm hungry and I have to go to the bathroom."
He looks up at me and his cheeks tinge red.
He lets me go, mumbling,"Sorry."
He looks anywhere but at me.
I sigh,"It's fine."
Then, after a moment of thought, I ask him," Are you hungry?"
He nods.
I carefully stand up and offer him my hand, blushing as I realize that I was practically straddling him.
He takes it.
I pull him up and walk forward to grab my wagon and put the blanket I covered us with, on top of it.
(((Me: *waits for him to realize that he's still holding Bill's hand*...)))
Keeps walking, pulling my wagon behind me.
I pull my wagon to my house, Bill following close behind me.
-Time Skip-
We finally reach my house after, about, a fifteen minute walk.
I go to pull my wagon up my steps, but realize that everything would just fall out.
I wonder for a moment, how I can get this stuff in my house.
I'd carry it, but it would be way too heavy.
Then, I remember that Bill has powers, and I really want to facepalm.
I look over my shoulder at Bill, who surprisingly has a beet red face, and is looking at the ground.
Wondering why he's so embarrassed, I almost forget what I was going to ask him.
I remember after a moment though.
"Bill?" I ask.
He looks up at me, his face turning more red.
"Y-yes pinetree?"
I say, "Can you um... levitate my wagon up onto my porch? Please? The stuff in it would make it too heavy for me to lift..."
He nods, although his face is still a deep shade of red.
"Yeah sure."
He snaps his fingers and my wagon floats up onto my porch.
I smile at him.
"Thank you."
He nods, looking to the ground again.
I walk up the steps, with him following me.
I dig in my jeans pockets for my key, but I turn up empty.
"Fuck," I curse, banging my head against my door once.
Bill asks, "What's wrong?"
I reply, "I left my only key inside."
Bill says, from behind me, "Oh."
But then I hear a snap, and my door opens.
I look over my shoulder, "Thank you."
He nods.
I walk in, pulling my wagon behind me.
I put it in front of one side of my couch.
Then I lead him to the kitchen.
I look over my shoulder again.
"What do you wanna eat Bill?"
He looks up at me with a hopeful look in his eyes.
"Can you make waffles? I haven't had any in a long time..."
I smile at him, saying "Sure".
I move around the room getting the ingredients, for a moment.
After I have everything in a bowl, I grab my cake mixer and go to mix it all up.
Only, I can't.
I look to see what my hand's caught on, and I realize that I'm still holding Bill's hand.
I feel a blush spread across my cheeks.
"S-sorry." I stutter.
So that's why he was blushing.
Bill's blush only becomes darker.
"It's fine..."
We both look in opposite directions for a moment.
Then I reclaim my hand and mix the stuff up into waffle batter.
Narrator's POV:
What Dipper doesn't see, is the crestfallen look on Bill's face.
-Time Skip-
I put an equal number of waffles on both of our plates and grab the syrup out of the fridge, and some cinnamon from one of the cabinets.
I put some syrup on our waffles and a dash of cinnamon, before I hand Bill his plate.
He takes it, thanking me.
I say, "You're welcome."
Then I put the bowl and mixing blades in my sink.
I put away the syrup and cinnamon, and close the cabinets, before sitting down at the table by Bill.
I eat my waffles, watching him get some syrup on his nose.
'He's adorable," the voice in my head says.
I blush and quickly look away, telling the voice to shut up.
After a few moments, I look back.
"Y-you have some syrup on your nose."
Bill looks up with a confused look on his face, before his brain registers what I said.
"Oh, " he says.
He wipes at it with a napkin.
Only, he didn't get it all.
"Umm... you still have some on your nose."
Bill wipes at it again.
"Did I get it?" he asks.
I look and then shake my head.
He still has a bit on the side of his nose.
He tries again.
He asks, "Now?"
I shake my head.
It's still there.
I grab a napkin and lean over to wipe it off.
Except it doesn't go as planned.
I fall out of my chair, and accidentally knock him out of his.
I land on top of him and quickly get up.
I offer Bill a hand up.
"I'm sorry. Are you okay?" I ask him
He nods and takes my hand, standing up with my help.
"I'm fine."
I say, "Good."
I go and get another napkin and wet it with water on one corner.
I go back to him and get the glob of syrup off of his face.
I grin.
"There."
He smiles back.
-A little while later-
Bill and I had finished our waffles, then somehow ended up on my roof, gazing at the stars and talking.
Bill's been pointing out the constellations to me.
He says, "That one's actually the big dipper."
I look and see where he's pointing.
Sure enough, it is.
"It's youuuuuuuu," he teases.
I blush.
-After a while-
I look at Bill, wondering why he got quiet.
He was just telling me the story of the Centaurus constellation, when he went quiet.
When he's still quiet for a few more moments, I ask, "Bill?"
He looks at me.
I ask, "Why'd you get all quiet?"
He looks sad.
"I was just thinking... Dipper, today's been the most fun day I've had, since Will and I discovered we could do magic. But... how can you be my friend?"
I ask, "What do you mean?"
He sighs.
"It's just... I can't see why you want to be around me. I said and did some pretty horrible things to you and your family when you were younger... I just don't understand how you can want to be around me at all..." he trails off.
I turn fully towards him.
"Bill Cipher, you listen to me. "
He looks at me, giving me his full attention.
"That was a long time ago. I forgave you even before you showed me your memories, because I knew that you were different. After seeing your memories, I saw a strong man who tried his damnedest to keep trying to find his brother no matter what it took. I saw a strong man who finally snapped, after sending his brother away to protect him for a long time and not being able to find him, after feeling flashes of pain from said brother, who said strong man was quite inseparable from. I understand that you weren't in your right mind. Hell, I wouldn't have been either, if I had a sibling that I went through the same thing that you did with, and was separated from them for a long time. Point is, it wasn't your fault. Bill, I understand why you did what you did. Now quit blaming yourself."
He gives me a watery smile.
"Okay."
I hug him and he just cries for a while,in my arms.
-One More Time Skip-
His tears stop and he lays his head on my chest.
I ruffle his hair.
He smiles up at me.
I move one of my arms and wipe his tears away with my sleeve.
Then I move it back.
"Feeling better?" I ask.
He nods.
I hold my hand out to him.
"Friends?"
He nods, and shakes my hand.
We both smile.
A/N: Hey. I know it's been a while. I actually forgot that I didn't finish this chapter, nor that I hadn't posted it yet lol. When I went to check, I was so confused lol. I actually had this chapter a bit more than halfway written, and I just now realized that I hadn't finished it.
Oops.
Anyways though, I'm back.
Pretty angsty chapter if you ask me.
Did you like the bits of fluff mixed in though? Ô-Õ
I thought they were adorable w.
If you liked this chapter, you're definitely going to love the next one.
I already have a fledgling of an idea for what's going to happen in the next chapter lol.
Oh yeah.
Guess how many minutes it took for Dipper to realize he was still holding Bill's hand?

He nods, and shakes my hand.

-A Few Months Later-
Dipper's POV:
I wake up, rubbing my eyes tiredly.
After a few moments, I sit up and hit the 'snooze' button on my alarm.
I sit up, groaning.
I stumble out of bed and nearly fall flat on my face, when my sheet, still tangled to my legs, tries to trip me.
I kick it off and go into my bathroom, forgetting to get clothes.
I shut the door and fumble, getting my clothes off.
I step into the shower and shut the slider door.
I turn on the water and yelp when a cold stream hits my body, before warming.
"Well, I'm definitely awake now," I grumble.
I start by washing my hair.
I think about what's been going on the past few months, since being reacquainted with Bill.
Flashback:
It all started out kind of awkward.
I continued to try and convince Bill that I forgave him.
After a while, he finally got it through his thick skull.
Though, while I was still trying to convince him that I wanted to be his friend and that I forgave him, I had forgotten to call Paz and let her know how things were going.
So, one day she had shown up unannounced, and Bill had answered the door, since I was in the shower.
She asked him where I was and he told her that I was in the shower.
Bill was shirtless at the time and Paz made some assumptions.
When I came downstairs after getting dressed, she told me that I had worried her.
I told her that I forgot and that I was sorry.
Then she asked me, if the reason that I had forgotten had been because of my boyfriend.
She said this while motioning to Bill.
Bill and I had both blushed.
Then I told her that Bill was just a friend.
She had noticed his eye patch and hair, and with his name... Well she put the pieces together.
She asked me how I could be friends with him after all that he had done to us, and Bill had looked to the floor in shame.
I defended Bill telling her how she didn't know anything about him, or why he did what he did.
A big argument ensued.
After Paz left, Bill told me that it would probably be better if weren't friends, because he thought he was ruining my life.
I told him off after that and screamed at him a bit.
After I had re-convinced him that I wanted him in my life, he had cried himself to sleep in my arms.
The day after, Paz had come back and apologized.
She gave me a chance to show her why I forgave him, and so I told her everything.
How he went insane because he had to send his brother to another dimension to protect him, and for a century the only emotion he got from his brother was pain. It hurt him deeply and drove him over the edge and that's why he did what he did.
Paz apologized to Bill, and then shortly after we all started hanging out together.
Paz and Bill became great friends.
We all kind of developed a sort of routine after that.
On Tuesdays and Saturdays, we go and eat at a cafe where Lazy Susan's used to be.
Then we come to my house and watch a movie and eat dinner together.
We even got to go to the fair together last month.
We occasionally do karaoke nights on Fridays or Sundays.
And we sometimes have picnics in this really pretty meadow in the woods.
So, we all pretty much hang out a lot.
Bill and Paz sometimes sleep at my house too.
I still have to tell them that I'm a published author.
In fact, that's how I afforded to come back here and get a house.
Flashback End.
Right now it's Tuesday, so I'm getting ready to go to the cafe.
I quickly finish washing my body and step out of the shower, steam exiting and fogging up the mirror.
I pat my body and hair dry.
Then I brush my teeth and gurgle some mouthwash, before walking back into my room.
I walk over to my dresser and pick out a navy blue and white flannel, a light blue shirt, jeans, socks, and some boxers.
I turn around and give an 'EEP!', when I see Bill sitting on my bed.
We both blush.
I rush back into the bathroom and change into my clothes in there.
Then I come out and grab my shoes, putting them on.
I glare at Bill.
"Why didn't you warn me that you were in here?"
Bill stutters, his cheeks becoming a flaming red," I-I didn't know that you would c-come out in only a t-towel!"
A sheepish smile makes its way onto my face.
"Oh."
Bill ducks his head in embarrassment.
I walk over and sit beside him, playfully ruffling his hair.
"It's fine Bill."
He looks up, red-faced.
I smirk.
I point behind him.
"Is that the ticklemonster?"
He looks behind him, and no, it's just a stray sock that's not in my basket.
He starts to turn back around.
I tackle him and start tickling his sides.
He starts thrashing and laughing.
"P-p-p-please s-stop!"
He keeps laughing.
I say, "I dunno if I should."
"P-p-please!," he exclaims, gasping for air.
After a few more more moments, I finally relent, still smirking.
After catching his breath, he jumps up, looking at me.
"Why you little... I'm gonna get you for that."
He moves to tackle me, but I dart quickly across the room.
He chases after me and I laugh.
We actually run all the way to to cafe.
I burst through the doors and rush over to our usual booth, where Paz is already waiting.
She arches an eyebrow at my sweaty appearance and heavy breathing.
I'm not quick enough though, because Bill tackles me to the floor and starts tickling me back.
"B-b-b-bill please!"
He exclaims, "Never!"
I'm thrashing and laughing like he was.
"P-p-please!"
He tickles me for a few longer moments than I did to him, and then he lets me go.
I pant, slowly catching my breath.
Bill offers me a hand up, and I take it.
Paz just giggles.
He pulls me up into a standing position and then sits down.
I sit beside him.
Paz asks, "What was that all about?"
Bill answers first, "Dipper tricked me to look behind myself, and the next thing I knew I was tackled and being tickled."
Paz laughs.
"Ah. So it was revenge."
We both nod at the same time.
A waitress comes and takes our orders.
Bill orders waffles with syrup and a dash of cinnamon, some scrambled eggs, some bacon, and some orange juice.
Oh god.
I created a monster.
Paz orders some over-easy eggs with grits, some pancakes with butter and syrup, and she also gets some orange juice.
Lastly, the waitress turns to me, with her notebook and pen ready.
I say, "I want some Waffles the way Bill ordered them."
I motion to Bill.
She writes it down.
I continue, "I also want some bacon, scrambled eggs, and orange juice. Please and thank you."
She nods, writing it down, then walking away.
While we wait, we pass the time with some idle chit-chat.
-Time Skip-
The waitress comes back with our food and drinks in ten minutes.
We all thank her and happily dig in.
She nods and walks off.
-Thirty minutes later-
Paz puts her napkin on her plate, and a few bills for the tip.
She tells us that she has to go to work now.
We say our 'goodbyes' and 'see-you-laters' and then she leaves.
Bill and I start trying to finish our food.
I'm just wiping my mouth, about to pull my wallet out, when two suspicious looking guys walk in.
They walk up the counter and whip out their guns, pointing them at the cashier.
They demand all the money in the cash register.
The cashier, pale tremendously and tries to open the cash register, but it won't open.
One of the guys jumps over the counter and shoots it.
The cashier screams.
The guy opens the cash register and starts emptying it into a bag.
Bill tries to hide me behind him the best that he can.
After the guy empties the register, he throws it to the ground.
They leave the cashier lady alone, but they start walking around the restaurant demanding everyone to empty their wallets.
They start to, but apparently they were being too slow.
All of a sudden, I find myself being lifted up before Bill can even react.
One of the guy pulls me to their chest and demands for everyone to do it faster of they'll kill me.
I'm frozen in shock.
And all I can think is, "Why me?"
