Last Chapter: '

"You're my first priority right now Pinetree. Today is officially your day. What do you wanna do?"

He blushes.

"Well I've always wanted to go to Coney Island."

He looks up at me hopefully.

I snap my fingers. '

Dipper's POV:

I can honestly say that today was the best day I've ever had, my whole life.

I mean, besides the whole me being a hostage to those robbers earlier thing.

-Flashback-

Bill took me to Coney island and we went on so many rides!

We played a lot of games too!

There was this tea cup ride for two that spun around when you turned your wheel.

I think that was my favorite one.

Then there was a 'cyclone' roller coaster that scared Bill so bad, he was clinging to me for dear life!

We swore off roller coasters after that.

There was a carousel too.

That had to be Bill's favorite.

There were a lot of different animals and he chose a unicorn, while I rode on the rainbow tiger one beside him.

His eyes lit up brighter than the sun when it started. He told me that he never wanted it to end. We went around and around so many times, before I got him to do something different.

I talked him into riding on the ferris wheel with me, and it stopped at the top.

I leant in for a kiss, and fireworks went off in the sky for some reason.

I swear it was the most magical thing ever!

After that, we played a bunch of the games.

Bill ended up winning me this huge golden teddy bear that actually had a triangular eye patch on it.

It looked just like him, but as a bear!

I named the bear "Little Illuminacho" but 'Illumi ' for short.

Then Bill won me a bouquet of daisies and told me that they represented love and new beginnings.

My already red face, became even more intense.

We went to this dart throwing game that I swear was rigged, but after spending about an hour there (Bill bought us an all access-24 hour pass), I finally won him something!

It was a dark blue, medium sized cat plushie, with a flower crown.

He loved it so much!

Get this.

He named it "Twinkles" because my birthmark is a bunch of linked stars in the sky.

I would've thought he'd name it something cheesy like 'little dipper' or just flat out call it 'constellation'.

Maybe even call it 'Pinetree.'

But I like twinkles better.

Besides Pinetree his nickname for me.

It'd kinda ruin it if he called someone or something else that.

Then he took me to a picture booth and he whispered, "You're the only constellation I need."

Then he kissed me and I heard the thing snapping pictures, but we didn't care.

For the last picture, we had pulled back for air and just stayed looking in each other's eyes.

After getting the pictures, we spent the rest of the night winning prizes.

I didn't actually win him anything else, but not for a lack of trying.

Eventually though, it ended because my legs were so tired, I could hardly walk.

Then he teleported us back, in the woods near my house and proceeded to carry me.

-Present-

I blush, resting my head on his shoulder.

"What's wrong Pinetree?" Bill asks.

I shake my head.

"Nothing. "

Right now he's juggling our prizes.

He's paranoid that someone could see his magic, and something similar that happened over a century ago, could happen again.

I don't blame him though.

That kind of thing leaves a mark.

He actually teleported into his hollowed out tree from his memories, which is surprisingly pretty close to my house.

He let me look around for a little bit before he picked me and my prizes up and started carrying me back to my house.

When I asked him why he didn't just teleport back, he told me he'd rather spend more time with me.

Speaking of.

"You know, you can just stay at my house."

He looks down at me startled.

Ah. He must've been lost in thought too.

"Huh?"

"I said you can just stay at my house. You've stayed at my house plenty of times!" I reply.

"But not as your boyfriend."

Then he stops.

I look up, noticing that we're on my porch.

Pouting, I look up at him.

He smiles, "Oh alright."

A smile blossoms across my face.

He unlocks the door with his magic, probably realizing that I left my keys in my house again.

He carries me in and I hear the door shut behind us.

He walks over to the couch and drops me on it.

Pouting again, I make grabby hands at him.

He goes over to the chair by the window and sits our stuff down.

My pout intensifies.

He comes back, and seeing my grabby hands, he picks me back up.

"I thought you didn't want me to carry you?" he says teasingly.

I hit his shoulder playfully and nuzzle into his neck.

He chuckles.

He carries me to my room and lays me on my bed.

Then he moves away and goes to lay on the floor.

I grab my blanket and a pillow and walk over to him.

I put my pillow under his head and lay my head on his chest, covering us with my blanket.

He chuckles.

I sleepily look up, "What?"

He grins, "The whole point of me sleeping on the floor is so you'd be comfortable."

I sleepily mumble, "Whas the point of sleepin' on mah bed when I wanna sleep by you?"

Then I fall asleep.

Bill's POV:

I freeze a little.

He wants to sleep by me?

A smile breaks across my face and I cuddle close to him, wrapping my arms around him too.

My little Pinetree just keeps finding more and more ways to make me smile.

I give him every reason to hate me and he sees my good side.

I show him why my sanity snapped and he forgives me and still wants to be around me.

I give him every reason to doubt me and he still stays.

I kill bad people right in front of him and he still wants me (even though he didn't see me kill them in the first place, but still).

I almost fall over the edge again and he brings me back with a kiss.

I tell him I love him and he tells me he thinks he loves me too.

I try to let him be comfortable and he still wants to sleep by me.

My little Pinetree is my light.

And he's apparently a cuddle bug too.

I close my eyes and see him dreaming about our day from his point of view.

I make sure his dream stays good and I eventually drift off as well.
