Chapter: 19
Full of fear, Cody rose his head into the air, taking a deep breath before yelling at his loudest possible volume. "Mama, help!" Hearing his cries, Vegeta laughed "Really? Calling for your mother? Pathetic, just what kind of a warrior are you?" He asked as he lifted Cody up by the hair, a smile plastered across his face, with a single punch to the stomach, he knocked Cody unconscious, shaking his head as he formed an energy attack in the same hand, gasping when a bright red light became to engulf Cody.
Watching as six beams of light shot from him, Vegeta grit his teeth, dropping Cody to the ground when five large dragons, a dear with a massive set of antlers and a large green antelope appeared before him, a power unlike anything he had ever experienced before, emanating from them. "What the hell?" Vegeta asked as one of the dragons floated down to him, it's head pressing against his own. Its black, snake like body twisting throughout the air, it's two claws digging into the ground next to him as it's enraged gaze gazed into his soul. "What have you done to our beloved child?" It asked, it's voice regal and commanding.
Starring into the eyes of the dragon, Vegeta became silent as another dragon wrapped it's tail around Cody, cuing softly. Its deep Black and silver, snake like body wrapping Cody within its protective grasp. "Rei, his arm is broken." It stated, it's voice childish, but powerful all the same.
Gritting his teeth, Vegeta began to sweat when the other two dragons landed on either side of him. One a deep black and blue, it's large wings clouding the stands from view. The other a bright white and gold, it's blood red eyes glaring daggers into him, it's wings blocking the Zeno's view, making them moan. "This is incredible, but now I can't see Vegeta." "I know, but this is still very cool, I've never seen anything like this before." The spoke to each other as the two dragons growled at him. "What do you say Morgana, we should burn him alive." The white and gold dragon spoke, burning hot steam escaping it's mouth as it smiled. "No Alathea, that would be too quick. We should fry him from the inside out. We need to make him suffer for what he's done." The black one ordered, lightning crackling around it as it laughed. "Enough! Both of you, this is not how we deal with such problems." The large deer ordered, it's horns glowing as it walked forward, the three dragons backing away as it stepped next to Vegeta.
Staring at the large beast, Vegeta scowled. "What are you?" He asked, his eyes scanning all of them. "I am Eva, and we are forest mother's. Matriarchs of the many spirits that roam the lands of Vitania. Long have we watched from the confines of our forest home. Saving this child from fate has drowned us in both sorrow and joy. We have watched as darkness encroached and light prevailed, but no longer. We will not let our beloved child fall this day. Tamao!" She spoke, stomping her hoof on the ground as the green antelope rose it's head into the air, causing vines to shoot up from the ground and enwrap him.
The fighters still on the stage stopped fighting and stared at Cody's mothers. "Lady Rei?" Shougen asked, clenching his fist tightly as Broly stepped next to him. "What are those things?" Broly asked, shaking his head; awestruck by their appearance. "Those are Cody's mothers. If their here, it means that Cody's in trouble." Shogen explained, walking away from him. Grabbing his shoulder, Broly forced him around, shaking his head. "I can't let you go." Broly stated, causing Shogen to scowl. "You won't let me go and save my friend? Who the hell decided that? I don't remember asking permission. Tippy?" Shogen growled, his eye filling with anger as Tippy materialized from him.
Floating over to Broly, she landed on his head, purring as she rubbed his scalp with her tiny paws. Shogen smirked when Broly's eyes closed. Falling forward, Shougen laughed when he crashed, face first into the arena. "Alright big guy, he's out." Tippy stated, reappearing on his shoulder. "Thanks." He stated, patting her head. "Your welcome you big lug." She replied, kissing him on his cheek before vanishing. Blushing; he growled as he began to run towards Cody.
Completely immobilized in the thick vines, Vegeta stared into the angered eyes of Eva. "You dare touch our baby boy!?" Rei's voice boomed as Tamao nuzzled Cody with her nose, lifting him from the ground with her vines. "Are you okay, my darling?" Cody remained silent as she lowered him to the ground. Turning to look at Vegeta, she snorted. "You will pay for this, girls." Tamao ordered, stomping her hoof once more. "Burn!" Althea roared as an intense wave of fire escaped from her mouth. "I'll kill you, you bastard!" Morgana agreed, her voice shaking the entire arena as lightning began to strike him. Joining them, Rei released an ear piercing shriek as a beam of plasma energy shot towards him while Gina roared, sending tendrils of darkness towards him.
Glaring at Vegeta, Eva stomped her hoof on the ground; her horns glowing in the colors of the rainbow as she watched the dragons attack Vegeta. "What are those things?" Berrus asked pointing at them "Those are Cody's mothers, they're the forest mothers." Berrus continued to stare at them as his left eye twitched in disbelief "His mothers? He was raised by those things!?" Berrus asked, falling back into his seat; a blank stare on his face.
Hiromi smiled when Merus landed in front of him. "I hoped that it would take more than that." He admitted, placing his hands in his pockets. "I believe that holding back in this fight would lead to my defeat." Merus explained, taking a deep breath. "So no more work up?" Hiromi asked, rotating his left shoulder. "No, I believe that wasting more time would only hinder the efforts of my companions. They are trying their hardest and yet, here I am; participating in a sparring match." Merus admitted, shaking his head. "Fine with me. I may not be the strongest around, but I am the most resilient." Hiromi stated, his arms exploding and forming the giant flesh hammers once again. "Is that so? I may no longer be an Angel, but I am far from powerless myself.
As the wave of explosions subsided, Ronin sighed; seeing no trace of Bulla. Goten and Trunks gasped as they too, looked to the sky. "He killed her!" Goten gasped "Bulla!" Trunks roared, charging at Ronin as he quickly powered up, lightning crackling from him in his anger as 18 slammed into Goten. "This is starting to make me mad." She stated, shaking her head. "Isn't there something you can do to make her reappear?" Goten asked as Vanity punched him in the face. "There is one thing." She stated, forming a barrier around her, smirking when something hit the top. "I would move if I were you." 18 stated, looking at Goten as the barrier exploded, laughing when something crashed into a rock. "Your up kid." She stated, smiling when Goten became super Saiyan, charging at the hole in the rock.
Watching Goten speed away, 18 gasped when something struck her back. "Damn it, did I miss her?" She asked, growling when Frost stood infront of her, an evil smirk on his face. "What are you doing?" She asked, scowling when he laughed. "I don't care what the rules are, there's no way I'm going to lower myself to work with the likes of your inferior Universe. The only reason I was eliminated the last time was because of that backstabbing Frieza. Now, I will have my vengeance by destroying his friends." He explained, placing his finger on his chin as he chuckled. "Wait, I remember you. You're the one that tried to attack me after I eliminated your worm of husband. Where is he? Was he too weak to return to combat, or was he too scared?" He asked, grinning evilly as 18 charged at him.
Nearing Ronin, Trunks fired a massive energy beam, shaking the stage when it connected, firing hundreds of smaller ones as soon as it connected, not giving Ronin a chance to recover.
Punching Vanity in the face, she rolled into another rock, grumbling when Goten began to yell. Looking up at him, she gasped when his hair turned a bright red, becoming a super Saiyan God. "That's it kid! Show her what you can do!" Berrus ordered, laughing as Goten sighed.
Without a single word, Goten blocked Vanity's copy's punch, punching towards her without a wasted second, smiling when he sent Vanity flying off the side. "Vanity of the 13th has been eliminated, 27 fighters remain." The Grand Priest stated as she appeared on the seats, gripping her sword tightly as she stared down at the stage.
Breathing heavily, Trunks smiled when nothing moved within the smoke, gasping when Ronin came flying up towards him at a rapid speed. Backhanding him, Trunks crashed to the ground, his eyes white as his hair returned to normal.
Turning his attention to Goten, Ronin sighed as he snapped his fingers, shaking his head in disappointment when Goten flew towards him. "Really? You didn't even get rid of the magnet? You could've just ripped off the top of your uniform." He mocked as Goten's face collided with his face, gritting his teeth when Goten didn't recoil at all. "Maybe I wanted this to happen." Goten replied, head-butting him, quickly kicking him in the chest before he could recover.
Grabbing 18's punch with his tail, Frost chuckled. "I expected more from an Android with infinite energy." He mocked, punching her all over her body until he released her, releasing a powerful energy attack to her chest, sending her flying into a rock. "Fufufu, what a waste. I require more of a challenge in my opponents. Even though I am capable of destroying planets with a single finger, I do hope that they will at least pose a challenge. I do have my pride you know." He stated, shaking his head as he rose to a high rock, looking down at 18 as she rose to her feet.
On his knees, Ronin grit his teeth as Goten laughed. "This is for pan!" He roared, kicking him in the chin, sending him flying into the air. "And this is for Bulla!" He yelled, teleporting above him, slamming him back towards the ground.
Landing, he began to laugh, watching as Ronin rose from the ground once more. Gasping when the black and blue cat that had appeared from Cody earlier bit him on the neck; the blue markings that lined it's body glowing as Goten fell to his knees. "What's happening?" Berrus asked, clenching his fist as he watched. "That's Greed, she's one of Cody's sisters. She can absorb other peoples energy by biting them like a vampire." Peiri explained as Goten began to breath heavily, returning to his base form.
Walking over to Ronin, Greed narrowed her eyes as she licked his face. "You're giving it to me?" He asked as she hissed at him. "Right, sorry. That kid had some serious fire power… I owe you one. The biggest diamond gem in the treasure room is yours." Ronin stated, as blue magic began to flow from Greed and into Ronin.
Rising to his feet, Greed nodded as she vanished. Ronin laughed as Trunks rose to his feet, helping Goten to his.
As 18 neared him, Frost shook his head. "This is not interesting in the least. I have my eyes set on a more valuable prize." He stated, looking up at where Broly was still laying motionless. "Those two are much more worthy of my time than you." He stated, raising his finger into the air, forming a large energy sphere in it before firing it towards her.
The moment the energy sphere neared her, 18 gasped, firing her own energy attacks at it, gasping when it did nothing as the attack carried her out of the arena. "18 of the 7th has been eliminated, 26 fighters remain." The Grand Priest announced as she appeared next to her brother. "That dammed rat, what's the big idea!?" Berrus roared, shaking his fist at Champa. "How should I know!? I don't control him!" He yelled, shaking his fist back. "That's not nice." "Not nice at all. They were supposed to be allies. I hope he gets eliminated." "Yes, I can't wait." The Zeno's stated, crossing their arms as they pouted. Sighing, Berrus and Champa sat back down, looking into the air when the Grand Priest lowered himself. "I understand your frustration. We did not create a rule for a rogue teammate since we did not think we needed too. I apologize." He stated, raising back into the air.
Clenching his fist, Ronin smiled, punching toward a rock, gasping when it crumbled. "This power is something else." He stated, looking at his hands as Goten grit his teeth.
"Trunks." "Right." Trunks replied, seeing that Goten had taken the fusion dance stance. Jumping to the left, he took his position. "Fusion… ha!" They chanted as they performed the dance.
Ronin covered his eyes when the tips of their index fingers connected, becoming enveloped in a bright light. Scowling, he glared at them as the light faded, seeing a new fighter standing where Trunks and Goten had been before; wearing strange clothes with bright red hair.
"Who are you supposed to be?" Ronin asked, twisting his right wrist. "We are Goten and Trunks combined. We are Gotenks!" Gotenks explained, pointing at him while smiling. "Gotenks? Kind of a strange name don't you think." Ronin stated, shaking his head. "That's not very nice." Gotenks answered, crossing his arms. "I could care less." Ronin smiled as Gotenks scowled, clenching his fists tightly. "We'll show you!" Gotenks yelled, charging towards him with a smile on his face.
Hiromi winced when Merus punched him in the chest, knocking the wind out of him. "You weren't messing around, you've got some serious fire power." Hiromi admitted, slamming his fists into the ground, laughing when a cloud of dust covered him.
Closing his eyes, Merus chuckled. "I have been around a lot longer than you. Not to brag, but I have also mastered many things in my long life… I do not expect to be beaten by you on this day." Merus revealed, snapping his fingers; dispersing the cloud as he kicked Hiromi in the face, sending him rolling away.
Scowling, Hiromi shook his head. "Thanks for the honesty, but I don't plan on loosing that easily." He admitted as both of his arms exploded once more; his left arm returning to normal as his right arm morphed into a long whip with sharp, jagged bones protruding all along it's length. "Get over here!" Hiromi roared as he whipped his arm forward, smiling when it wrapped around Merus's throat, laughing as he pulled Merus towards himself.
As Merus neared him, Hiromi's laughter quickly turned to a pain filled cry when Merus grabbed the energy pistol strapped to his side and shot his arm clean off.
Landing on his feet, Merus gasped when he saw that the whip had reverted back into a normal arm as Hiromi grasped his right shoulder. "I'm sorry, I did not mean for that to happen." Merus apologized, stepping forward as the stands grew silent.
"For someone who has just watched your friend have his arm blown off, you seem awfully calm." Belmond admitted, crossing his arms as Peiri and the others laughed. "This? This is nothing." Peiri replied, waving his arm through the air as Piccolo rose an eyebrow in interest as Hiromi began to scream.
Looking down at the arena, everyone watched as an explosion of blood and flesh sprouted from Hiromi's shoulder, reforming the arm that he previously lost. "…. That's… Better." Hiromi stated as he caught his breath. "You can reform limbs?" Merus asked, looking at the arm on the ground. "Yeah, thanks to my fathers virus; I can reform every part of me. No matter how much damage you do to me, I'll continue to come back. Even if there's a single cell left of me, or even bloodstain on the ground; I can reform myself. Though, I'd be lying if I said it didn't hurt." Hiromi explained as Piccolo scoffed. "Reforming himself from a single cell… It's been a long time since I've thought about him." He admitted, glancing at Gohan as he watched the arena carefully.
Looking at Merus, a serious expression formed on Hiromi's face. "I'm not incredibly strong. Compared to everyone else here, I'm probably the weakest but in the end… I'm usually the one that's left standing." He admitted as he took a deep breath, holding his left arm out to the side, wincing when it exploded; reforming in the form of a large battle-axe, serrated with sharp and jagged bones. "I wont win this encounter, but I'm not going down without a fight." Hiromi announced as he held out his right hand, smiling slightly when fleshy tendrils shot from the tips of his fingers, digging into the rocks surrounding Merus.
Flexing his fingers, Hiromi was able to pull himself towards where the flesh tendril was imbedded, constantly pulling himself in different directions as he neared Merus, scowling when Merus continued to block his axe arm with his staff.
Jiren groaned as he watched Vegeta succumb to the dragon's attack. Crossing his arms, he looked up to where Kukei stood. "Impressive." Jiren acknowledged, closing his eyes. "Those strikes of yours were quite powerful, but how long do expect me to indulge in your pathetic game?" Kukei glared at him as he let a small smile break his stoicism. "I can tell from your uneducated and brutish fighting style that my full power is not required to defeat you. If I were to use my full power the young girls body would crumble. 25 percent is more than enough." Jiren explained, opening his eyes as he explained his reasoning. "25 percent!? What do you think I am!? I am death incarnate! You will rue the day you underestimated me!" Kukei yelled as she charged at Jiren.
Standing completely still, Jiren let a slight smile break his stoicism as Kukei attempted in vain to strike him. "What's going on, he's not even moving?" Kukei wondered as she continued to attack him. As Kukei punch neared him, he countered with a chop to the back of her neck, sending her rolling forward.
Rising to her feet, she scowled. "Your attacks have power, but there is no rhythm to them. It is simply a volley of random and erratic movements with no pre determined outcome. It worked before simply because you surprised me with the power within them. After that, I wanted to test your strength. It is true that If you had a decided movement in your attacks they would become more effective, powerful and potentially fatal. As it stands now, you can not win this fight." Gritting her teeth, Kukei formed another energy ball in her hand.
Placing her hand to the ground, she used her attack to destroy the platform they stood on. Closing his eyes once more, Jiren sighed "Alright freak! You can't fight what you can't see!" Kukei bragged as her voice emanated from the dust. "I may not be able to see you demon, but you are reckless." Jiren stated, easily blocking Kukei's punch as he spoke. "What? How?" Kukei asked as she disappeared into the dust once more. "I may not be able to see you, but you do nothing to mask your aura. I can sense the power emanating from you. In a more explained way; your own power gives away your position." Jiren explained as he punched into the dust, striking her. His punch making the dust dissipate.
Following up his attack with a volley of punches, Kukei's eyes quickly bulged with pain. Grabbing her by the hair, Jiren quickly threw her into the air. Closing his eyes once more, he raised his hand to the sky. "The child you reside within does not deserve death. Count yourself blessed for that." Jiren explained as he released a powerful red beam from his hand as he spoke.
Looking down Kukei gasped. "Not today freak!" She yelled as she fired her own pink beam back. Though Jiren's strength proved superior.
Her beam did nothing to slow Jiren's down at all, but instead; added to the force that lifted her further from the platform.
As she flew out of bounds, she returned to normal she began to cry. "I'm sorry papa… Master, I failed." She muttered through gritted teeth as she passed out, still being carried by Jiren's attack.
Jiren once more crossed his arms as he turned to see that the dragon's were still assaulting Vegeta. Raising his eyes to the seats far above, he smiled and nodded at Peiri. "Kukei of the 13th has been eliminated, 25 fighters remain.
Jiren returned his gaze to the battlefield as Kukei fell onto the seats. "Darling! Are you alright?" Peiri cried as she shook her daughter. "I saw only darkness momma, I was scared. It wanted to take control." Kukei shivered as she spoke. "But it was scared of him." Peiri stared at her daughter, shocked by her revelation. "Goku?" Kukei shook her head. "No.. him." Kukei answered, pointing at Jiren who was simply staring at the dragon's. "He saved me." "I must ask, what wanted to take control? What was afraid of Jiren?" Belmond asked, scooting toward her. "The other me. I have a dark me living inside, it always wants to be in control. All it wants is to destroy and kill. I can't control it when it takes over. The only person he's afraid of is Uncle Drago. It doesn't like his light. She acted calm and strong on the outside, but I felt her shaking." Hearing Kukei's explanation, he shook his head. "Why does that sound so familiar?" He asked, shaking his head. "Why indeed?" Marcarita agreed, frowning as she returned her gaze to the arena.
Looking at Whis, Berrus shook his head. "Hey, what happened to Vegeta's kid?" Hearing his question, the Grand Priest glanced at him and sighed" I apologize, I must have forgotten. The reason she has not been sent back to the stands is because Ronin's attack ended with her death. May I remind you that murder is no longer prohibited. 24 fighters remain."
Cody's mother's vanished, just in time for Vegeta to hear the news. Falling to his knees, his hair returned to it's normal black color as he returned to his base form. "Bulla!" he grunted, a small tear forming in his eye. "Mama?" Cody asked, regaining consciousness, unable to move as Vegeta glared at him. "Not so tough without your mother's, huh?" Vegeta asked, standing. "Just get out of my sight." He spat as he formed an energy ball in his hand.
Cody closed his eyes tightly, accepting his defeat as Vegeta gasped. Opening his eyes, Cody saw that Shougen had grabbed Vegeta's arm just as he was about to fire the attack. "Shougen?!" Vegeta gasped, struggling to free his hand. "Why?" Vegeta asked, gritting his teeth when Shougen squeezed his arm tighter. "I've been fighting Broly this whole time, leaving the others to take care of the rest of you. Not butting in, but I wont let you to knock Cody out like this." Hearing his words, Vegeta glared up at him. "And why not?" He asked, finally pulling his arm free, wincing when an intense pain shot up his arm. "I thought that someone with honor and pride as a warrior would understand. Cody's sister's drain his life force and so does his mother's. Now he's lying here, unable to move. What honor does it bring to defeat an opponent like this?" Shougen asked as he picked Cody into his arms, being cautions of his broken arm.
Ignoring Vegeta, he mumbled something as he turned away from him. Vegeta glared at him as he began to walk away from him. "That's it, I'm killing you both. Big bang attack!" Vegeta yelled; causing Shogen to turn to look at him.
Firing his attack with a wide smile on his face, he laughed when it exploding on impact with Shogen, sending a cloud of dust pluming. Crying out in pain when Aoia appeared from nowhere and kicked him in the crotch, lifting him a few inches from the ground.
All of the males upon the stands, Gods included squinted and flinched in reaction to Vegeta's pain filled scream. "That must hurt." "Yes, it seems like it hurt a lot." The Zeno's agreed as Vegeta crashed to the ground, climbing to his knees in a curled ball.
Aoia turned to look at Shogen standing alone as the dust faded. "I will handle him. I assume that you have other matters to attend to?" " I do, Thanks'." Shougen answered, glaring at Jiren. "Do not worry. I shall wait for you to finish your fight with him, then I shall fight you." He stated, pointing to Broly as he stomped his way towards Shogen before sitting on the ground in a meditative pose.
Lifting from the ground, his red aura surrounded him once again. "With the disappearance of Cody, one can assume that Vegeta's attack has led to his death, 23 fighters remain." The Universe 13 members on the stands looked at each other as they soaked in the information.
Turning around to meet Broly's gaze, Shougen smiled. "Sorry about that." Shogen apologized, shrugging his shoulders, grunting when Broly punched him in the face, sending him sliding backward. "I'm done playing." Broly announced, a green aura surrounding him as he punched Shougen once more in the face, sending him sliding into a large rock. "Fine, the warmup is over." Shougen agreed, running toward him. The moment that both titanic fists collided; the ground around them cracked as a wave of energy shattered the rocks of the quarter of the arena they stood upon.
Rising to his feet, Vegeta scowled as he looked at Aoia. "You're the android, right?" He asked as he caught his breath. "I am your end." Aoia replied as she charged at him, not giving him a chance to rest.
Ronin gasped when Gotenks appeared in front of him, laughing when he backpedaled. Without anytime to react, Ronin blocked Gotenks's punch with one of his own. The force shattering the skin on his left arm, revealing the same blue and black robotic endoskeleton underneath. "What is wrong with you?" Gotenks asked, shaking his head.
Ronin quickly grabbed him by the hair and clenched his fist. "Kamui family secret technique, number 14: Endless Scream!" He roared as he punched Gotenks in the stomach, a high pitched screaming noise drowning out everyone's thoughts as bright blue flames began to shoot out from his legs, the skin burned off of his right leg, shooting him forward at an intense speed towards the edge.
Ronin grit his teeth when Gotenks laughed, kicking him in the back of the head, knocking him to the ground; inches from the edge. Gotenks laughed as Ronin stood once more. "I'm getting really tired of this." He admitted, cracking his neck. "So am I." Ronin agreed, slamming his knuckles together, shocking everyone when the sound of chainsaws filled the air. "What the hell are those?" Berrus asked, shaking his head in confusion. "It's Ronin's chainsaw knuckles." Vanity explained, watching her husband carefully. "Come-on boys, lets end this." He ordered as flames burst from both his arms and legs as he rocketed forward.
Gotenks was barely to block when Ronin neared, gasping when the blades scraped against his chest, pulling his arm back, Gotenks punched Ronin's fist, gritting his teeth when the blades dug into his knuckles.
Jumping back, Gotenks winced as he flexed his hand, blood dripping from his knuckles. "Are you trying to kill me?" Gotenks asked as Ronin stared at him with a serious expression, his left eye spinning in it's socket as it zoomed in and out like a camera lens. "Show no mercy until it's done." He stated, before charging at him once more. Gritting his teeth, Gotenks clenched his fists and charged toward Ronin as well, both warriors trading fast and furious punches.
Ronin hummed to himself when Gotenks's pushed him backward, leaping backward himself before firing hundreds of energy blasts at him. Everyone, including Gotenks himself gasped when they saw that the energy blasts were stopping inches before impact with him. "Are they copying your move?" Gohan asked, looking to Piccolo who was watching silently with his arms crossed. "No, this is different. I don't think their doing anything, I think it's him." Piccolo replied, leaning forward when Gotenks growled. "A barrier, come-on!" He cried, stomping his foot. "A repulsion field actually." Ronin explained, invisible behind the wall of Gotenks's energy attacks. "Are you even human?" He asked, shaking his head. "Of course I am. Though of course, you are free to believe what you like. Kamui family secret technique, number 19: The unseen hand!" He roared as Gotenks's energy blasts shot back toward him.
Crossing his arms, Gotenks winced as his own attacks pounded him. Smiling, Ronin charged at him once more, scowling when he saw that Gotenks was watching him as the energy blasts continued to strike him.
Recoiling as Ronin punched him in the gut once more, Gotenks grit his teeth when Ronin laughed. "If your gonna use fusion, at least make it a challenge. Your just wasting everyone's time. If this is all that your capable of, your teacher must have been even more useless." He stated, smiling slightly when Gotenks began to grunt. "What? Did I touch a nerve?" He asked, running at him once more.
Gritting his teeth, Gotenks didn't recoil or flinch when Ronin punched him in the stomach. Looking up, Ronin gasped when the roared, their hair turning a light blue as his power pushed Ronin towards the edge.
Ronin gasped when Gotenks appeared above him, punching him in the face, sending him flying downward into elimination. Smiling, Ronin rose his left hand towards Gotenks. "A final farewell. Kamui family secret technique, number 12: Maximum Pain." He stated, snapping his fingers just before vanishing. "Ronin of the 13th has been eliminated, 22 fighters remain." Despite his elimination, Ronin continued to smile as he appeared next to Vanity. "I must ask, why are you so robotic if you are human?" Belmond asked, touching the cold, black metal of his arm. "I got caught up in a bad situation back on earth. These guys called the Lutron kidnapped me and tried to turn me into a mindless machine. My twin brother; Reece saved me, I owe him my life, honestly, that's why I'm here." He explained as he watched Gotenks still floating above the darkness below. "What are you smiling about?" Berrus asked, squinting at him.
In response, Ronin held up his left index finger. "Wait for it." Berrus squinted at Ronin; completely confused until Gotenks's yell caught everyone's attention.
Looking up at him, everyone watched as a sphere of energy expanded from the location that Ronin had repeatedly punched. As it covered him Gotenks began to spasm in pain. "What is this?" Champa asked, stretching his chin. "One of my family's secret combat techniques. By striking the same section of the body multiple times, I can gather energy within it. When I snapped my fingers before my elimination, I released that energy. The stronger my opponent, the longer it takes to activate." He explained as the sphere vanished.
As Gotenks fell, a loud pop resounded the arena as the diffused just as they vanished. "Goten and Trunks of the 7th have been eliminated, 20 fighters remain." Berrus jumped from his seat and pointed at Ronin. "Come-on, that's cheating. He cheated!" Berrus roared, looking up at the Grand Priest. "I understand your rage, but please try to calm yourself. He activated the attack before his elimination; some attack's have a delayed reaction. He explained it himself." The Grand Priest stated as the Zeno's cheered. "That was amazing, he was awesome." "Yes, the names of his attacks were so cool too. Maximum pain." "Endless Scream." They laughed as they snapped their fingers." Shaking his head, Ronin sighed as Berrus grit his teeth, shaking his fist in rage.
Broly grunted when Shougen's fist collided with his face, slamming him into a large rock. "Your strong. I've never met someone that can match my strength on their own." Shougen admitted, laughing. "Come-on, let's go all out. I can feel it itching." Broly admitted, powering up, Becoming a super Saiyan God." So you can do that too?" Shougen asked, cracking his neck. "Before we start, can I ask one thing?" Broly asked, taking a deep breath as his muscles relaxed. "Sure." Shougen agreed, shrugging his shoulders.
"What happened to your face?" He asked, pointing at his own eye. "This?" Shougen asked, tapping the metal plate on his face. "When I was a kid. I was sparring with my sisters and Hinoa accidentally stabbed me in the face with her spear. When she pulled it out; pop." "Wow." Broly stated, as what Shogen had said to him sunk in. "Not all that impressive. I used to tell people as a kid that I was trying to fist fight a dragon and it used it's claw to pull it out." Shogen admitted as he cracked his knuckles.
Chuckling, Broly shook his head. "Kakarot and Vegeta said that you fought an entire army on your own and held up your moons." Broly stated, making Shougen chuckle again. "I did, during Yokk'Karosh's invasion." "Who's Yokk'Karosh?" Broly asked, crossing his arms. "He called himself the living apocalypse. Though I cant say he's lying; he did set half of our world on fire and drown the other half under an ocean. He also killed five of us, me included." Broly gasped as he shook his head. "He did what!?" He asked, his shock plain to hear as Shogen nodded. "I cant blame you for not believing me, I wouldn't have either if I wasn't there myself." "Wait, he killed you?" "Yup." Broly crossed his arms as he stared at Shougen, waiting for him to announce that it was a joke. "So how are you alive?" He asked, still staring at him. "Philomena.. A Phoenix; she lives inside me." Shogen began his explanation as a bright orange Phoenix appeared from his chest and flew around Broly's head before coming to rest atop Shougen's head. "What is that!?" Berrus yelled at Peiri as he pointed at Shogen. "That's Philomena; she's a Phoenix." "A Phoenix!?" Berrus asked as he shook his head, returning his attention back to the arena.
Petting the Phoenix's head, Shougen smiled. "She brings me back every time I die, though it takes longer every time." Shougen explained, causing Broly to chuckle. "How many times have you died?" Broly asked as Shougen tapped his chin in thought. "Let's see. 1, 3, 8… I think?" Shogen wondered aloud; not exactly sure himself anymore." Hearing his words, Broly shook his head "8!? 8?" Broly asked. "Yeah, I know it's hard to believe." Shougen agreed as Broly continued to stare at him. "Hey Broly, what the hell are you doing!? Stop talking and start fighting!" Berrus yelled furiously from the stands, shaking his fist at him. Sighing, Broly shook his head. "Looks like he means it." He moaned, hanging his head. "That goes for you too Shogen! No more wasting time. Smash him into pieces already!" Peiri yelled, agreeing with Berrus that they should recommence their fight. "Looks like it, It was nice getting to know you though." Shougen admitted, receiving a friendly nod from Broly. "Hey, you said you wanted to see how strong I was right?" "Yeah?" Shougen answered Broly's question, confused, gasping when Broly began to yell; the ground under them shaking.
Shougen stared at Broly in awe as he became engulfed in a blue aura, smiling when his hair spiked in a different way than before, turning blue in the process. "Blue hair!? Kinda makes me miss mine." Shogen admitted; rubbing his head as Broly smiled. "It isn't everything, but it's a start right?" Broly asked as Shogen shivered in anticipation. "Come-on. One free punch, as hard as you can. I wanna see what you got!" Shogen stated, mtioning for Broly to hit him as he leaned towards him; pointing at his right cheek. "Alright, you asked for it!" Broly yelled as he punched Shogen in the face, causing his vision to blur and sending him flying through three rocks before Shougen thrust one of his swords with a heavy chain attached to it into the ground. Using the chain to stop himself.
Coming to a stop, he sheathed his sword. "That was awesome!" He admitted as Broly landed in front of him. "Why don't you use them?" Broly asked, pointing at the swords on his back. "It wouldn't be honorable to fight with my weapons, when you don't have any, it would disgrace everything I have ever known and more importantly; it would disgrace my mothers teachings." Broly chuckled as Shougen explained his reasoning. "I expected that. What I don't understand though, is why you keep them on your back. Don't they weigh you down?" Broly asked, causing Shogen to place his right hand on the hilt of one of his swords. "I like to keep them by my side…. They were my mothers." Shougen admitted, frowning when he spoke about his mother. "I understand." Broly admitted, sharing a small smile with Shougen. "I also like the weight." Shougen added, returning Broly's smile. "Ready for round 3?.. You only get the one free punch." Shogen asked, taking a battle stance. "Are you ready?" Broly asked; gasping when Frost appeared from nowhere and punched Shogen in the face.
Looking at Broly's soured expression; Frost shook his head. "What? I got tired of watching you two. It's time to finish this." He stated, flinching when Shougen swiped him away. "Our fight is none of your concern!" Shougen stated, glaring at him. "The hell it is! My life is at risk here! While he plays games with you. Who cares who's stronger, if he doesn't want to finish it, I'll end you myself. Just because your big doesn't mean you're strong." Frost explained, tapping his chin and smirking.
Shougen's eye twitched in rage while Broly crossed his arms and backed away from them. "What!? Are you mad, did I hurt that ego of yours monkey? Not so tough when someone puts you on the spot, huh?" Frost mocked, laughing until Shougen stomped on his tail. "What the hell!?" He cried, glaring up at him. "You knocked out 18, we were on the same team." "Why does that matter? That tin can wasn't going to accomplish anything anyway. If you don't assist me, you'll be the next to taste my wrath if you don't help me." Frost announced, pointing at Broly with a scowl on his face. "Help you? I don't know what you're taking about. I cant see anything." Broly stated, shrugging his shoulders as he shook his head. "How about we test my strength?" Shogen asked, quickly punching him into he face. By standing on his tail, Frost continued to pop back up into Shougen's fist, turning him into a glorified punching bag while Broly watched with a smile on his face.
Frieza laughed manically as he continued to smash Drago into the hills of the arena. "Ready to admit that your light is worthless?" Frieza asked, receiving only laughter from Drago. "Never!" Drago yelled as he kicked Frieza in the face with his free foot, his eye shooting open when it did nothing. "You're just like she was." Frieza admitted, gritting his teeth as he spoke. "The friend that you murdered?" Drago asked, making Frieza grunt in disgust. "Don't you ever mention her. You do not deserve to mention Tsukiryuu!" Frieza yelled as a small tear formed in his eye. "I see, so this mystery friend does indeed have a name." Drago stated, as he continued to be held by the ankle.
Gritting his teeth from both anger and sadness, Frieza began to descend swiftly towards the ground. Throwing Drago into the ground moments before he impacted it himself. Drago cried in pain; blood flying from his mouth when Frieza's knee connected with his chest. "It doesn't matter if she was one of those monkeys. She was the only tolerable one of the whole lot." Frieza admitted, spitting in Drago's face as he ripped the amulet from around his neck.
Stepping out of the crater that he had made. Frieza gazed at the swirling substance in the center of the amulet in wonder as Drago began to gasp for breath. "What's that now? Given up have you?" Frieza mocked, picking him up by the collar as he struggled, unable to breath.
Frieza chuckled as he watched Drago struggle. "Come then, grovel and beg at my feet and I may yet show you mercy." He mocked, dropping Drago to the ground. Turning to look at the amulet; he held it up to the sky. "My reflection in this is quite catching and the changing colors are quite entrancing, I must admit." Frieza marveled at the amulet as Drago rose to his feet. "Oh ho ho. So you've decided to stand once again. Your determination is admirable, though annoying." Frieza admitted as Drago's breaths became heavy and raspy as he grabbed the long bang of his hair that covered his right eye. "Witness… the majesty… of Garvangan!" Drago roared as he lifted his bang; revealing his demonic right eye. "Well that was unexpected." Frieza admitted as Drago's body began to twist and contort as he began to grow larger and larger with every second that passed as Frieza stated in awe at his transformation.
Once the transformation was completed, Frieza put the amulet around his neck. "I have to admit, I was not expecting that." he admitted, staring at the large demon that stood before him. His body bulging with muscles. His pig like face contorted with rage. Now, at least ten times larger than he was before, Drago blocked Frieza from the view of the stands as the Zeno's laughed. "That is awesome." "I know, that transformation is amazing." The admitted as Drago looked down at Frieza, snorting.
Lifting his snout into the air, he let out a mighty roar that shook the arena, causing everyone to stop fighting, even Jiren opened one of his eyes as the roar echoed across the arena. Though returning to his meditation seconds after.
"What was that?" Broly asked looking around as Shougen stopped punching Frost momentarily. "It's Drago, Garvangan's awake." He explained as he punched Frost once more. "Garvangan?" Broly asked, walking toward the edge of the rock that they were stood upon, his mouth opening in shock when he saw the large demon. "He used to be king of the demons, now he lives inside of Drago. Whoever he's fighting is gonna have a bad day… Even I've never managed to beat Garvangan." Shougen admitted, returning to punching Frost.
Looking at the massive frame of Garvangan in the distance, Hiromi scowled. "Damn, if he's gotten that desperate." He stated, watching Merus carefully as he stepped next to him. "Is that one of your friends?" He asked as his staff vanished. "Yeah, it's Drago." "Your King?" Merus asked, looking at him.
Nodding, Hiromi took a deep breath as his arms exploded, returning to the way they were before. "If Drago is calling on Garvangan… While I've been wasting time, they've been actually fighting for our Universe. While I've been playing around." He admitted, clenching his fist. "I have never seen something like this before, it is quite magnificent." Merus admitted, staring at Garvangan. "I haven't used this in a few years, but I don't have any other option. If I don't use this now, I may never het another chance." Hiromi admitted, shaking his head.
Looking back at him, Merus tilted his head. "What are you talking about?" He asked, crossing his arms when he saw Hiromi's maddened glare as his eyes began to vibrate in there sockets. "Every time I morph my body, I experience extreme pain. I hate using this technique but without it I doubt I'll ever be able to beat you…. It's now or never, it's time for me to experience true pain!" He roared as his entire body exploded in a plume of blood, bone and flesh.
Taking a step back, Merus's mouth fell open in shock as he watched the swirling mass form together once again. "What the hell is that!?" Berrus yelled, leaping to his feet as he watched the blood and flesh reform into a massive, hulking monstrosity. Standing nearly 15 feet tall, razor sharp bones protruding from every inch of it's body. "Oh for the love of Talos!" Peiri gasped as she watched the same thing. "What is it?" Belmond asked, tilting his head. "Its Hiromi, that's his ultimate technique; instead of fighting against the virus that's inside of him and manipulating it to his own ends like he does when he transforms his arms or legs… He's let it take full control." She explained as the giant mass of flesh and bones released an ear-piercing shriek, rattling everyone to their cores as they covered their ears. Looking back down to the arena below, everyone gasped when they saw that the area surrounding Merus and Hiromi had been sealed off a giant dome of flesh, sealing both of them inside, blocking them both from outside view.
Looking around, Merus smiled. "So, is this your true form?" He asked, raising an eyebrow when Hiromi growled at him. "We are beyond words are we?" He asked, as Hiromi shrieked ones more, causing sharp, serrated bones to protrude from the flesh dome every few feet. "I see, I suppose this is our final battle then?" Merus asked, shaking his head in confusion when Hiromi charged at him without any speech or remark.
Grabbing him by the head, Hiromi slammed him into the ground before whipping him backward at one of the bone spikes.
Stopping himself before impact with it, Merus's eyes narrowed. "This isn't Hiromi I'm dealing with anymore, is it?" He asked, landing on the ground as Hiromi shrieked once more, causing bones to shoot up from the ground underneath him.
Shaking his head as he leapt into the air, Merus winced in pain when Hiromi leapt above him. Grabbing him by the waist, a deep, disturbing guttural growl echoed from within him as he quickly turned Merus upside down, slamming him face first into the ground.
Before Merus was able to react to what was happening, Hiromi pulled him from the ground as tendrils of flesh emerged from his back. Merus gasped when they enwrapped his arms and legs, suspending him in mid air as Hiromi lumbered toward him. "All things exists for us." He spoke as a mound flesh lowered from his mouth, revealing a disgusting, fleshy mouth with layers of small but jagged teeth. "What?" Merus asked, visibly disturbed by what he was seeing. "All things will be, us." Hiromi replied, his voice; deep and raspy, sending shivers down everyone's spines as they could hear the movement of mounds of flesh as he spoke.
Hearing Hiromi's Statement, Merus shuddered as Hiromi growled again. "All things exist to join us." Hiromi stated as Merus began to struggle in his grasp. "What are you talking about?" Merus asked, as Hiromi began to step closer to him. "You will join us." Hiromi ordered as more tentacles emerged from his body.
As they crept towards him, Merus began to struggle even more, trying to free himself from Hiromi's grasp. "We are the ultimate life. All will become us." Hiromi explained as some of the tentacles wrapped around his throat as more forced his mouth open. "Do not resist, this not death; it is evolution." Hiromi ordered as his tentacles neared Merus's open mouth.
Before they could enter his mouth, Hiromi shrieked once more, dropping Merus to the ground. Rising to one knee, Merus shook his head. Opening his eyes, he gasped when he saw that an energy disc had cut Hiromi's tentacles off, flinching when he saw them flailing around on the ground like a fish out of water. "Are you alright Master?" Yamcha asked, running to Merus's side. "Yamcha? Where did you come from?" He asked, rubbing his throat as Hiromi shrieked once more. "No one ever notices me. This time I'm glad though. Are you ready?" He asked as Hiromi charged towards them. "Of course, just don't overexert yourself." Merus ordered as they charged forward.
Reaching down, Garvangan picked Frieza up in his large right hand, snorting once more when he reached eye level. "Give me the amulet." Garvangan ordered. "What? Put me down you overgrown pork chop!" Frieza retorted, trying to free himself. "As you wish." Garvangan stated, throwing him into a hill, punching him as soon as he collided with it; creating a massive crater in it.
Frieza gasped when Garvangan moved his fist, allowing him to breath. "I have honored your wishes, now honor mine. Hand over the boys amulet." Garvangan ordered, holding out his hand.
Falling to the ground, Frieza gripped the amulet around his neck. "You want this?" He asked, smirking when Garvangan's eyes grew wide when he saw the amulet. "Without it, the boy will die." Garvangan answered causing a sly smile to appear on Frieza's face. "Die you say? That's no concern of mine. His constant preaching was starting to enrage me anyway. If you require this so badly, then come and get-!" Frieza monologue was cut short when Garvangan punched him once more, sending him crashing through the battlefield. The stands fell silent as they watched Garvangan in awe. "Hmm." Whiss hummed as he slid himself closer to Peiri. "This is quite a marvelous transformation. Gaining such exponential power, yet; the ability to retain the brains of the previous form." He admitted as Peiri looked at Whiss and smiled. "That's Drago's true form." Whiss tilted his head as he heard this. "His true form?" Vados asked, appearing next to her.
Looking at her, Peiri nodded. "Drago is the reincarnation of the demon king: Garvangan. Xerrath killed him when he refused to allow his demons to be indoctrinated into her slavery. He swore to have his vengeance against Xerrath. Turns out his hatred for her was so powerful that he was reborn within Drago's body, that's why he needs the amulet that Frieza took. When he was born; Drago was too weak to even breath on his own. His father made him the amulet. Without the amulet, Drago is unable to live at all, resulting in Garvangan awakening to keep him alive." Whiss hummed happily at Peiri's story as the other Universe's continued to stare at the battle.
"You must return what is not yours!" Garvangan roared as he stomped on Frieza, creating a crater in the ground. Lifting his hoof, Frieza screamed in rage. "I will not be beaten by some swine that escaped from the slaughterhouse. I am lord Frieza!" He roared, bending backward as his body became enshrouded in a golden light.
Lifting himself back to normal, he smiled. "Now then. Shall we continue?" Frieza asked, seconds before two large, blood red greatswords materialized out of thin air. "If this is what you desire, I will humor you." Garvangan replied as he roared again, causing the ground beneath them to crack. Swiping at Frieza as he swiftly dodged the large blades. "This isn't good." Frieza admitted, trying to come up with a plan.
Jumping away from the blades, he looked around franticly trying to find a way out. Seeing none he turned to jump away once more, crying out in pain when one of Garvangan's swords sliced his tail clean off.
As Frieza yelled in pain he fell to his knees, gritting his teeth when Garvangan's raspy laugh echoed around him. "I did not wish for such an end, but I require that which you have stolen. If you do not wish to return it, then I shall take it by force." He explained as his swords vanished.
Picking Frieza up once more, he removed the amulet from around his neck and punched him once more, sending him flying from the arena.
"Frieza of the 7th has been eliminated, 19 fighters remain." The Grand Priest announced as Frieza appeared on the stands. "Is he alright!?" Kukei asked, poking Whis as she pointed at Frieza, his head hung low. "Yeah, he's perfectly alright." Whis replied, leaning in toward her to whisper in her ear. "He loses his tail a lot." Giggling at the revelation, Kukei returned to watching the arena below as Frieza clenched his fist in rage, covering his face with his hand.
Placing the amulet around one of his large tusks, Garvangan began to shrink until he was once again; Drago.
Taking a deep breath, he snapped his fingers, causing his sword to appear next to him as he walked away. "As much as he seems to resent the Saiyan's, he truly does care for her; Tsukiryuu. He hides it well, but the feelings are plain to see for anyone with the brains to look." He stated as he walked across the barren arena.
Yamcha grumbled when his fist connected with Hiromi's face, realizing that it had done nothing. "What is this guy? Our attacks aren't even bothering him." Yamcha asked, as Hiromi slammed the ground next to him. "I assume that the transformation he undertook traded all brains for nothing but brawn. Attacking as we are now will lead us nowhere, we must out smart him. That is the only way." Merus stated, firing a shot from his pistol at Hiromi's face.
Scowling, Yamcha watched as Merus attacked him, dancing around Hiromi's legs as he dodged the massive punches. "It's useless like this, his skin is as hard as armor, unless." He admitted, cupping his hands together in front of his face. "Whets wrong big guy? Those tentacles still sore!?" Yamcha asked, smiling when Hiromi shrieked in rage, dozens of tendrils sprouting from his back. Shooting straight at him.
Dodging them, Yamcha narrowed his view at Hiromi, seeing his gaze fixed solely on him. "Master, now!" Yamcha called, gasping when Hiromi caught him by the ankle.
Before either one could react, Hiromi slammed Yamcha into the ground. "All others are inferior." Hiromi stated, shrieking seconds after when Merus snapped his fingers, making his staff appear before quickly swiping it downward; sending a wave of power forward, slicing his tendrils off once again.
A large shriek escaped from Hiromi's face once again as Yamcha cupped his hands behind his back. "What are you doing?" Merus asked, shaking his head. "Look at him, every time he regenerates his tendrils, his body softens." Hearing Yamcha's statement, Merus turned to look at Hiromi, smirking when he saw that as the tendrils reconnected with his body, Hiromi's armor like skin lowered, leaving his fragile flesh uncovered.
Taking a deep breath, Yamcha closed his eyes as he exhaled. "Ka…. Me….. Ha….. Me…. Ha!" He roared as he released a massive Kamehameha wave, covering Hiromi completely, everyone covering their ears when another ear piercing shriek echoed across the arena as the Zeno's pouted. "Aww, I can't see." "I know, I can't see either. This isn't fair." They complained as Hiromi's shriek faded into silence once more. As a large explosion rocked the surrounding area.
As the explosion subsided, both Merus and Yamcha both gasped when they saw that all remained of Hiromi was a single, large foot.
Shaking his head, Merus looked at Yamcha. "That was a lot more damage than I thought you capable of, I'm impressed." Merus admitted patting Yamcha's shoulder. "Thanks, do you think what he said before was true? About being able to reform himself from a single cell?" Yamcha asked, glancing from Hiromi's foot and Merus. "I expect that we will soon find out." Merus replied, pointing at the foot as it began to shake.
Much to their disturbed, displeasure; they watched as flesh, bone and blood extended; forming the large monstrous body from before.
As it regained its shape, Hiromi shrieked once more; this time, shattering the dome completely, revealing Hiromi's form to them once again. "There he is, he looks so cool!" "Yes, he looks very cool!" They cheered as Hiromi shrieked once more. "We will always return, we will always remain. No matter how many times you destroy us. We are the ultimate life, we cannot be stopped." Hiromi stated, shrieking once more.
As he shrieked, Yamcha looked at Merus. "I've got an idea." He announced just as Hiromi looked at them and growled. "What is it?" Merus asked, tilting his head when Yamcha shook his head. "No time to explain, you've just got to distract him." Yamcha explained as Hiromi began to charge at them, the ground quaking with every step. "Alright, let's do it." Merus agreed as they both ran in different directions.
Running away, Merus shot Hiromi with his pistol, gaining his attention. "Alright, now that I know that I wont kill you; there's no need to hold back." He admitted, holstering his pistol, watching as Hiromi lumbered forward.
The moment Hiromi neared him, Merus punched forward, emitting so much power that his left arm exploded, resulting in another ear-splitting shriek. "Don't think it's over yet." Merus stated, kicking him in the leg, smirking when a loud crunch resounded the area as the hard, armor like skin that was protecting his body shattered, revealing the light punk flesh hidden underneath.
As Merus clenched his fist to punch again, Hiromi's left arm reformed itself. "We are unending, we are un-breaking. Resist all you like, all will be like us." Hiromi announced as a guttural laugh echoed from within.
Shaking his head, Merus punched toward him, gasping when Hiromi dodged the wave of power that rocketed from his punch.
Watching from the stands, everyone watched in utter shock as the entire arena infront of Merus was clean cut of all rocks as the wave rocketed from the arena. "That would've done some major damage." Merus admitted, shaking his head in disappointment.
Hearing Hiromi shriek once more, Merus sighed; vanishing and appearing in front of him. "I believe in you Yamcha, I put all of my trust in your plan. I will hold him." Merus whispered to himself as he released a flurry of powerful punches to Hiromi, every punch shaking the arena when they impacted Hiromi's armored body.
Watching Merus attack Hiromi, Yamcha looked at his hands and sighed. "Alright, let's do this." He announced as he put his hand in his pocket, gasping when his hand touched something. "1? I thought I brought 15? Damn, I have to make this one count." He wondered to himself as he took a deep breath. "Master move!" He yelled, spurring Merus to dash away; leaving Hiromi in a state of disarray as he was left to not only reform his left arm, but also multiple holes covering his chest and stomach.
Bringing his arms to his sides, Yamcha scowled. "Hey, big, dumb and ugly!" Yamcha yelled, gritting his teeth when Hiromi looked at him and shrieked as he fixed the holes in his chest. "Get in the jar!" He roared as he fired the evil containment wave, the green vortex sucking Hiromi into it's grasp as he reformed his arm. Shrieking as it lifted him into the air. Lifting his hands into the air, Yamcha roared once again as Hiromi continued to shriek.
Throwing his hands downwards, Yamcha smirked as Hiromi continued to shriek as he entered the small bottle that Yamcha had placed on the ground in front of him. "And there." He stated as he placed the top on it. "That was impressive, nice work." Merus acknowledged, nodding his head as Yamcha picked the bottle up and inspected it. "What do we do now?" Merus asked as Yamcha tossed it into the air and caught it. "We finish it." He replied, readying himself to throw it over.
Both warriors jumped and gasped when a flash of light destroyed the bottle, causing Hiromi to drop to the ground in his normal, human form. "I am afraid to announce that I will not allow that." Turning around, they both took fighting stances when Drago stood before them, holding his sword out towards them. "Hiromi may be an idiotic fool, but he is a friend." Drago admitted, placing his hand on Hiromi's chest before pushing down on it.
The moment, Drago's hand left his chest, Hiromi vaulted to his feet. "Whoa, that was a rush." He admitted, looking around when Drago cleared his throat. "Thanks, but you know something, that jar was actually very comfortable and surprisingly spacious." Hiromi admitted, cracking his knuckles. "Is that so? Well, if you are finished with your quick vocational trip, I would very much like your assistance with the matter ahead." Drago explained nodding at Yamcha and Merus.
Looking at them, Hiromi smirked. "Two on two, huh?" Hiromi asked, cracking his neck. "No, I would like to test the strength of one of lord Talos's own. You will handle his companion." Drago ordered, walking toward Merus with a wide eyed smile as Yamcha sighed. "Come with me, lets get out of their way. I'm not listening to Drago complain about my performance." Hiromi explained, waving his hand towards Yamcha as he formed tendrils from his fingertips before pulling himself into the distance.
Looking at Merus, Yamcha nodded his head before following, leaving Merus and Drago alone. "So, you are an Angel as well?" Drago asked, rubbing his chin. "I was, once." Merus admitted, nodding his head. "Come, I would like to test myself against someone of your caliber." Drago ordered, motioning for him to come forward.
Caulifla shrieked as she tossed Tink away from her. "That's it, playtimes over!" She roared as Tink tutted and shook her head. "I already said that silly." Tink stated, running at her again.
Stopping in her tracks, Tink rose an eyebrow when Caulifla braced herself and began to scream, shaking the entire stage as her power grew, along with her hair.
Fleur moaned seductively as Kale punched her in the back. "That's good, but now its your turn." Fleur announced, throwing her axe at her. Dodging by moving her head to the side, Kale laughed. "Idiot." She mocked as she formed a green energy ball in her hand. "Name calling isn't very nice…. But that doesn't mean you should stop." Kale shivered as Fleur's words scared her.
Holding her hand out towards Kale, Fleur licked her lips. Shivering, Kale cried out in pain as Fleur's axe returned like a boomerang, leaving a huge gash in her left cheek. Enraged by the sneak attack, Kale retaliated by grabbing Fleur by the head, covering her mouth with her hand as she forming another energy ball. "Want to know what death tastes like?" She asked, receiving a single delighted squeal from Fleur. "Freak." Kale shuttered as the energy ball exploded.
Tink stood completely still in shock when Caulifla straightened herself; now enveloped in a golden glow, her hair almost reaching the ground. "It's cool and all, but what happened to your eye brows?" Tink asked, receiving laughter from Caulifla. "We don't need eyebrows where were going." Caulifla answered as she charged at Tink.
Ready for her, Tink clapped her hands sending a wave of electrified fire at her. Stunning her momentarily, Tink ran at her again.
Removing his foot from Frost's tail, Shogen picked him up by the tail and began to slam him, face first into the ground, making countless craters in the arena. "So, you really were all talk and no action." Shogen stated, Shaking his head.
Lifting Frost up, he looked him in the eyes and laughed. "I don't have the time to deal with trash like you, he's all yours, runt!" Shogen called; tossing him away.
The watching crowed upon the stands, along with the Zeno's fell silent when Frost came to rest at Kukei's feet.
Grabbing his ears, Berrus leapt from his seat; pointing at her. "How!? Their cheating, it's obvious!" He yelled up at the Grand Priest as Mimi giggled. "What's so dammed funny!?" He growled, grinding his teeth. "When Kale threw me away I threw a rock back at the arena." She stated, winking at him. "I'm sorry, I don't understand either." Peiri added, shaking her head. "Back home, Sturan made these for me." She stated, taking 12 rocks from her pockets. "They seem to be but simple stones." Belmond stated, taking one from her. "Not exactly, I can make shadow clones of myself easily, but I can't make ones of other people that way. Sturan used my scrolls and made it so that I could make shadow clones of the others with these. Luckily for me, it landed in a section of the arena that you couldn't see. Belmond hummed inquisitively as he turned the rock around; revealing Zagraeus's name. "How do they work?" Belmond asked, handing the stone back to her. They release the shadow clones once they hit the ground, or any other strong impact. Kukei's clone waited until Jiren's attack brought her close to elimination and saved her. I knew I wouldn't be able to handle anyone, but she definitely would." Mimi explained, pointing at Kukei who was now bent over Frost.
A large elephant stood from his seat and pulled at his trunk in thought. "Lord Rumsshi?" Kusu asked, looking up at him concerned. "If I may ask, why didn't you release them all?" Smiling back at him, Mimi giggled. "They would've gotten in everyone's way. You see; they possess the same abilities of the original and are even capable of speech, you've all seen that with Kukei here. Their is one slight flaw to them though; they have no defense at all." Mimi explained as she pulled a kunai from her cleavage.
Stabbing Kukei's clone without warning, it vanished immediately on impact. Everyone on the stands watched in awe at Mimi, soaking in her explanation. "This is ridiculous! This shouldn't be allowed!" Champa cried, standing and looking up at the Grand Priest. "And why shouldn't it be? Only two members of Universe 13 posses the same abilities as most of the fighters from the other Universes... Kukei and Zagraeus possess the ability to manipulate their energy for flight and energy attacks. The only reason that Ruby can fly is because she was born as a dragon. Sakura possess incredible speed while Shogen has unfathomable strength. These tools and tricks enable the other members of Universe 13 to fight. Take them away and they are incapable of defending their Universe. Quite unfair if you ask me. How would you appreciate it if I forbade Goku and the other Saiyan's from using any of their transformations?" The Grand Priest asked, causing the other Universes to sink into their seats; defeated. "I though as much." He stated, turning to look back at the Zeno's who were laughing.
