As the light dissipated, everyone waited with baited breath to see the extent of the damage. The members of Universe 13 gasping in shock when the dust cleared to reveal no sight of Shougen. Their eyes bulging in shock, both Drago and Zagraeus shared a glance before Goku and the others lowered themselves to their level, all returned to their base forms.
Looking at the area where Shougen had previously stood, Goku shook his head. "Wow, I didn't think we would kill him, sorry about that." He apologized, freazing in place when Zagraeus glared at him, his eyes a pure, ghostly white. "First you take my mother, my family and my world... Now… Now you think you can come here and take my friends. Is my daughter your next victim? I wont let you take them. I'll kill you, I'll kill you all!" Zagraeus roared as Drago glanced up at him, a pink aura surrounding him, covering the entire null realm in a blanket of pure fear.
As Zagraeus increased his power, Drago suddenly gasped, gazing into the distance. "What is he looking at?" Peiri asked as Fleur gasped as well. "It... it can't be!" She choked out, causing everyone to look in the direction that she was pointing.
In the distance, alone on the desolate platform, stood Shougen; bruised, burnt and bloody, but alive. The hearts of everyone in Universe 13 calmed at the sight as Zagraeus quickly dashed towards him. "Shougen! Your alive!" Zagraeus called as he neared. "Why aren't you running over to him?" Vegeta asked, crossing his arms. "Something is different. Can you not feel it?" Drago asked as Jiren stepped forward. "I didn't say anything because I was unsure if it was just me. It's his essence… It's darker somehow." He revealed, squinting his eyes when Shougen began to shake.
Reaching him, Zagraeus rose an eyebrow. "Shougen?" He asked, flinching when Shougen turned his gaze to him, his eyes a bright and deep emerald green. "What the!" He gasped as Shougen gazed upward, releasing a pain filled roar.
Everyone on the stands covered their ears from Shougen's screams, sending shivers down their spines. Shougen's earsplitting screams echoed throughout the entirety of the null realm, filled with pain and rage, sounding as if he was being torn asunder.
The members of Universe 13 shuddered as Shougen's screams echoed. Fleur squealed and ducked her head when a bright purple aura began to cover him, his screams quickly becoming more frantic and squeaky as lightning began to strike him, a giant pillar of golden light enshrouding him.
His continued screams quickly became frantic laughter when an explosion of energy escaped from him, evaporating the stage around him, causing, Zagraeus, Goku and the others to swiftly jump to a higher platform to escape from the blast zone.
Those upon the stands grasped each other as the stands began to shake from the pure force of Shougen's power, cracks appearing on the stands as the Zeno's laughed; watching each other as their chairs danced about.
A his laughter faded, Shougen began to grunt and twitch as a pattern of diamonds; identical to those embroidered on Kaseaen's dress formed on his chest. "What is this?" Berrus asked, shivering as another surge of power rushed past them. "This power, it can't be." Champa added as he looked to Vados. "A God is born." Kaylin announced, pointing at Shougen as the other Universe's looked in shock.
Watching Shougen, silence quickly covered the null realm as he straightened himself; taking a deep breath as he opened his eyes, revealing them to be a deep, dark purple.
Goku, Vegeta and Jiren flinched when he glared, growling at Zagraeus as he landed next to him. "Shougen, are you?" "Zagraeus move!" Goku yelled as he tackled Zagraeus out of the way, just as Shogen attempted to clothesline him. "What the hell are you doing!? I don't need your help, Kakarot!" Zagraeus roared, waving his fist at Goku angrily as Shougen lifted his arms to his sides, yelling once more as the ground under him cracked. "What in Talos's name do you think you're doing, brother?" Drago asked, shaking his head as Zagraeus nodded. "I don't know what the hell is wrong with you, but if this is some kind of joke; I'll kill you my Arggh!" Zagraeus yelled when Shogen charged at him once more, punching him in the face; sending him flying through three large rocks.
The stands watched silently as Zagraeus roared in rage, not only vaporizing the rock that he was embedded in but the entire section of the arena before charging at Shougen. "You piece of garbage, I'll kill you myself!" Zagraeus cried as he attacked Shougen with a flurry of punches before elbowing him in the face, gasping when it did nothing. Narrowing his eyes, he unleashed another flurry of punches to Shougen's face and chest before releasing a powerful kick to his neck, causing the area behind Shougen to erupt in an explosion while it did nothing to him but cause him to smile demonically.
After Zagraeus's assault, Shougen growled and grabbed his leg that was still connected with his neck and lifted him so that Zagraeus's was hanging upside down. "What the hell is going on?" Merrick asked, landing next to Jiren and Drago. "No idea." Vegeta replied, shrugging his shoulders as they all watched. "Look Shougen, I know that we haven't always got along, but whatever your gonna do. How about you just, you know… Don't." Zagraeus pleaded as Shougen lifted his fist into the air.
Every male on the stands, along with Goku, Vegeta, Drago, Merrick and Jiren winced and shuttered when Shougen punched Zagraeus in the crotch, causing Zagraeus to scream out in pain, his voice cracking and becoming shrill and ear-piercing.
Throwing him away, Shougen roared once more as Zagraeus grit his teeth tightly. Opening hiss eyes only to gasp when he saw Shougen running after him. "Die!" He roared as he punched Zagraeus toward the ground, only to kick him back up as he continued to run.
Shougen began to laugh as he released a barrage of punches and kicks to Zagraeus, causing his pain filled cries to fill the null realm once more.
Landing one final punch; Shougen sent Zagraeus flying once more as he raised his arms towards him and began to yell, forming a large purple ball in them. "Die!" He cried out as he sent the ball flying at Zagraeus.
As it impacted him, Zagraeus cried out in pain once more as the ensuing explosion destroyed everything around it. Broly clenched his fist tightly, taking a step forward when Shougen began to laugh manically, sending hundreds of small energy blasts at Zagraeus's location. "We can't let him do this, it isn't right." Broly stated as Goku nodded in agreement. "He's right, come-on Vegeta!" Goku called as he and Broly jumped down from the safety of their platform towards Zagraeus with Drago and Merrick in tow. "Damnit!" Vegeta scoffed, following behind him. Without a word; Jiren followed behind Vegeta, silently watching Shougen as he laughed.
Shougen grunted when Broly's powerful fist slammed into his face, gasping when Shougen didn't even flinch. Changing his attention to him, a demonic smile crept across Shougen's face. "So the little bugs have come to be squashed. You will all die with him!" Shougen roared as he released a powerful barrage of punches to Broly's face, causing him to cry out in pain.
Landing next to Zagraeus, Goku knelt next to him, watching him for a moment to see if he would pull his head from where it had been embedded. "Are you ok?" Goku asked as he poked Zagraeus's arm, receiving mumbled words of disgust from him.
Looking back towards his friends, Goku nodded. "He's still alive." Drago announced, looking up at Vegeta when he growled. "Then get the hell up!" Vegeta ordered as he grabbed Zagraeus's hair and quickly pulled him out of the ground.
Jiren and Merrick continued to watch as Shougen assaulted Broly with his punches. "He won't last much longer, his strength pales in comparison to Shougen's now." Jiren announced as he looked back at the others. Goku and Vegeta shared a cautious glance as Drago joined Jiren. "I don't understand, Broly was so much stronger when we fought him. "This guy, he's a monster." Vegeta agreed, flinching when Broly roared.
A hint of hope appeared in their eyes when Broly caught one of Shougen's powerful punches and attempted to toss him over his shoulder. The hope quickly faded though, when Broly stumbled, falling to lift the massive man and received a ferocious kick to the face in return.
The other members of Universe 7 watched in horror as Broly was so easily defeated. "I don't understand, why isn't he powering up?" Berrus asked, his eye twitching in rage. "Maybe he's afraid that if he unleashed his full power, he wouldn't be able to control it." Gohan wondered aloud as Frieza began to hum in response. "I have a plan." Frieza stated, standing up and leaning himself over the side. "Hey Broly! How have you and the traitors been since our last meeting? I wonder how that foul mouthed woman of yours is doing... She looked so peaceful when I paid her a visit before we left. Such a nice home you have now, your now among spineless rats like yourself. Oh, I forget to mention that you must be so proud. You will soon be a father after all. The traitors and I had such a nice talk, a pity you weren't there to participate." Broly's attention quickly changed from Shougen to Frieza when his words reached him. "Frieza? What did..." Berrus began to ask before Frieza forced his tail into the God's mouth, silencing him. "I haven't touched a single hair on that girl's head, I wouldn't even think about stepping a single foot on that horrid planet. And besides, you know very well that I did not have the time to leave and interrogate those traitors between the time that we exited that chamber and left for this cursed tournament. Just watch." Frieza explained, pointing down at Broly, who now had his head in his hands. "No... Impossible! Frieza!" Broly yelled, throwing his head into the sky and releasing a powerful beam of energy into the sky. "What the hell?" Zagraeus stuttered, watching Broly intently. "This rapid change in power... What is he?" Jiren asked, looking back at Goku, squinting as a large, ecstatic smile spread across his face. "What is this?" Drago asked as a large wave of energy shot past them. "It's like Kale's, but a hell of a lot stronger." Merrick agreed, staring at Broly in shock. "It seems as though; Broly's true power is awakening." Whiss revealed, smiling proudly as he watched.
Broly continued to grunt and scream as his body lurched in every direction. "Cheelai? I shouldn't have left you... Cheelai! Cheelai!" As Broly screamed once more, three more powerful waves of energy shot out from his body, changing the color of the sky around the null realm. His body jerked and shuttered as he continued to scream.
Lurching forward, Broly's screams became more frantic until his eyes turned a bright red, his pupils bursting as an explosion of pure power erupted from him, shattering the arena under his feet. "Yes! Show us your power!" Frieza cheered, watching with glee as his plan unfolded perfectly before his eyes. "What's happening?" "I don't know, but this is really cool." The Zeno's cheered, their eyes glowing in wonder as they watched Broly's transformation.
A pillar of green energy surrounded Broly as he began to float upward, his screams echoing around the null realm. Everyone present continued to watch, speechless as Broly began to laugh as a giant green bubble began to surround him, the Zeno's standing in their seats as they marveled at Broly's transformation. "This is amazing." "Yes so cool." "I agree, Broly is amazing." They cheered as the Grand Priest continued to stare intensely at Broly; a disturbing smile spread across his face.
The spectators gasped when Broly began to scream once more; releasing thousands of small energy balls in every direction. Shougen continued to stand his ground, staring up at Broly as the arena around him began to erupt in violent explosions. Even when he was struck by one, Shougen continued to stare up at Broly with a large, excited smile on his face.
Goku, Zagraeus and the others stood in shock, looking around as the energy balls completely bypassed them, leaving the area surrounding them devoid of any threat. As Broly's screams subsided, everyone gazed up at him as he descended to the ground; the green bubble still surrounding him, though now; completely transparent. Everyone shared a confused look when Broly appeared the same as he had before, until Fleur stood. "Is that getting bigger?" She asked, pointing at the large energy sphere that Broly was still encapsulated in that seemed to be pulsating. "Goku, Vegeta, Merrick, Jiren get out of there!" Belmond yelled, spurring them into action. Both Drago and Zagraeus stood side by side as the others fled, watching Broly carefully. "Incredible, to think that he held this much power." Drago marveled as the energy bubble continued to grow larger. "Zagraeus, Drago! What are you doing?! Get your heads out of your asses and get out of there!" Peiri cried, gritting her teeth when they completely ignored her orders.
Continuing to stand their ground; both Drago and Zagraeus watched as the bubble came within inches of them, chuckling when it burst. Revealing Broly; now at least twice as tall and wide as he was before, his eyes a pure and unsettling white. "Yes, that's it! That's the anger we wanted to see." Frieza bragged as Broly turned his gaze towards Shougen. "So, a Battle of titans then?" Drago asked, causing both Broly and Shogen to glare at Zagraeus.
Zagraeus gulped loudly, seeing both Shougen and Broly walking at him. Before he had a chance to react, Broly was infront of him, pushing his body against Zagraeus's chest. With a wide eyed smile, Broly released a giant energy blast, sending Zagraeus sliding backward. "What the hell was that for!?" Zagraeus yelled, confused when Shougen simply stood his ground and watched as Broly began to assault Zagraeus with thunderous punches, sending ripples of energy through the null realm as the arena quacked with every impact. "Vegeta, we've gotta help him." Goku stated, watching as Broly assaulted Zagraeus. "Why should we? If Broly eliminates him all we've got to worry about is those two." Vegeta argued, pointing at Shougen and Drago. "I agree with Goku, something is wrong; why is Zagraeus's friend simply watching? Shouldn't he be assisting his partner?" Jiren asked, crossing his arms as he wondered aloud.
Zagraeus took a few deep breaths when Broly backed off. "Are you gonna help!? You overgrown ogre!" Zagraeus screamed at Shougen as Broly grabbed him by the neck, grinning when Shougen began to walk towards him. "About damn time!" He cried as Shougen stepped next to Broly, his eyes twitching in fright when Shougen growled, delivering a powerful uppercut to him; ripping him out of Broly's grasp.
Landing heavily on his back, Zagraeus winced; gasping and rolling on his side when Broly attempted to stomp on him. "Oh for the love of Talos." He groaned when he bumped into Shougen's boot.
Quickly grabbing his leg, Shougen smiled as he proceeded to slam Zagraeus heavily into the ground; resulting in Zagraeus's pain filled cries to echo as Shougen continued to slam him into the ground. "What's going on, why aren't they attacking you?" Goku asked, nudging him. "I do not have the foggiest idea." Drago replied, shaking his head.
Everyone watched, horrified when Shogen tossed him up into the air, only for Broly to grab and begin to hug him tightly, causing Zagraeus to scream again. "What is Onii doing? Why is he attacking Zagraeus?" Peiri asked, her hand shaking with fear. "It has to be Xerrath, when Lord Shogen absorbed her soul, it must have lain dormant until Lord Shougen fell into such a dangerous and weakened state that it could take control... Even though she is no longer alive, her anger and hatred is so powerful that it has taken control of him." The other Universe's looked to Kaylin as he explained Shougen's actions, the eye's of the other God's bulging in shock. "How are we supposed to stop him then?" Gazu asked, crossing his arms.
Broly laughed as he released another energy blast from his chest. "If they can eliminate him somehow, he should revert back to being his normal self." Gohan stated. "How do you know that?" Ronin asked, closing one eye in wonder. "In the last tournament, when we got eliminated all of our Battle wounds were healed. "When Frieza was eliminated earlier his tail was back." He explained, pointing at Frieza. "That's true." Fleur agreed as they looked back to the stage when Broly dropped Zagraeus to the ground. Both Shogen and Broly standing over him, looking down at the broken warrior.
As Shougen rose Zagraeus from the ground using his hair, he smiled before punching him in the face. Broly took a step towards them but stopped when Goku and the others blocked his path. "Broly, what are you doing?" Goku asked, causing Broly to growl and grab him by the neck, the others preparing for a battle until Goku motioned for them to stop. "Broly!" Goku coughed, his voice becoming raspy when Broly began to squeeze him.
Lifting up his arms, Goku grabbed Broly's face. "It's me.. Kakarot." Broly's scowl softened at Goku's words, loosening his grip on Goku's neck. "Nothing happened to Cheelai, it was Frieza's plan to make you mad." Broly's eyes returned to their normal color as Goku mentioned Cheelai. "She's... Safe?" He asked, looking around. "She's fine, she's probably with Bulma. Just please let go... Can't breath." At Goku's request, Broly lowered him to his feet. "We have to assist Zagraeus." Drago added as Broly looked towards Shougen, his eyes deepening when he saw that he was still using Zagraeus's face as a punching bag.
Closing his eyes, he took a single deep breath. Goku, Jiren, Vegeta and everyone else gasped, covering their eyes when a pillar of golden light surrounded him.
Seeing this, Shougen hummed and dropped Zagraeus to the ground, turning his attention to Broly. Without a word, Jiren ran towards Zagraeus, lifting him up and slinging his limp body over his shoulder while Shougen was completely distracted by Broly's rapidly changing aura.
As the light began to dissipate, Broly appeared from the golden light; similar in size than he was before, but with a different and calming aura surrounding him.
Goku chuckled when Broly have him a thumbs up. "He did it! I knew that you could become the true legendary Super Saiyan!" Whis cheered, jumping to his feet as Berrus glanced at him in confusion. "The true legendary super Saiyan?" He asked as everyone else looked at him as well. "Yes, thanks to my training and Goku's quick thinking. Broly has attained a perfect inner peace. He now possesses the power that he used against our Saiyan friends during their previous encounter, but he also is able to retain his common sense and rationality. No longer is he like a savage beast." He explained, a single tear forming in his eye. "He has become… Perfect.
Both Goku and Broly knelt down next to Zagraeus when Jiren lowered him against a rock. "You okay, Zagraeus?" Goku asked, nudging his shoulder. "Go to hell." Zagraeus choked out, smacking Goku's hand away. "Are you two done making up now?" Vegeta asked, landing next to Jiren. "It has to be Xerrath." Drago stated, stepping next to the others as Zagraeus struggled to stand, growling when Goku grabbed his arm to steady him. "What do you mean? Who is Xerrath?" Jiren asked, starring intently at Shougen who continued to stand as still as a statue. "Xerrath was our God of Destruction. When we beat her, Shougen absorbed her soul into his body. I guess it's taken control." Zagraeus explained, rubbing his neck. "All he is now; is seething hatred and uncontrollable rage." Drago agreed as Broly looked Zagraeus. "Then why did I only attack you when I lost control? Why didn't I attack Shogen or the others?" He asked as Zagraeus scowled, falling forward slightly when he flinched away from Goku's arm. "It must have been the curse that I was born with. Xerrath's minions could smell it… Both of you must have been attracted by that same scent." Zagraeus explained, flinching when Shougen began to walk towards them. "Here he comes!" Merrick gasped, clenching his fists. "Believe me, I'd rather die than commit the sin I am about to offer, but we're all going to have to work together." Zagraeus grunted once more as steadied himself. "Why would you guys want to fight him, isn't he your friend?" Jiren asked, confused why Zagraeus would want to fight Shougen. "He is Shougen, no longer. He is little more than Xerrath's vessel now. I will not allow my brother to be a slave, he would do the same if it was any of us... And believe me, when this is over, he will be more than delighted to hear that it took the 7 of us to take him down." Drago explained, causing everyone from watching from above to gasp. "Why did those two call for a truce? It has to be a trap." Champa admitted, causing Peiri to rise from her seat. "Don't you ever question our honor!" She shouted, shaking her fist at the God who flinched. "My husband is many things, but he is not a liar; he is one of the most honorable warriors you will ever find. If he calls for a truce, he won't break it until the threat is quelled. That goes double for Drago. Our King is always truthful. You can rely on their words. Our truce shall hold until the threat has been quelled." Peiri explained, silencing the other Universe's completely.
Glancing at her, Belmond crossed his legs. "I think we already now what this threat is, but just so we are all on the same page; what is the threat that this truce has been made to quell?" Belmond asked politely, smiling slightly when Peiri smiled at him. "Until Shogen has been eliminated, the truce will stand." She explained, reseating herself.
With the information about the truce in their brains, the spectators returned their attention back towards the stage; just in time to see Jiren power up, regaining his bright red aura. "We only get one shot at this Kakarot!" Vegeta snapped, powering up until he regained his purple form, complete with lack pf eyebrows.
Without a single word, Broly began to power up, the ground around them quaking as a pale green aura surrounded him. "We can do this Zagraeus." Goku assured him, inciting another scoff from Zagraeus while Goku began to power up, regaining hiss complete Ultra Instinct, alongside Merrick. "Damn it all!" Zagraeus roared, powering up until a bright pink aura, identical to Kukei's enveloped him. Shaking his head, Drago heled his sword into the air, bathing the warriors in a bright, golden glow. The light of Talos shall lead us to victory." He explained as his golden hair turned a bright, pearlescent white.
Without a word between them, they all charged at Shougen and began to assault him with punches. To the shock of everyone, Shougen began to dodge every single attack from the 7 expert warriors.
Grunting in annoyance, Shougen punched Zagraeus and Jiren in the face, sending them recoiling backward before kicking Goku in the stomach, delivering a jaw shattering uppercut to Vegeta. Smiling, he grabbed the blade of Drago's sword before punching him in the face before kicking Merrick in the face, sending them flying away.
Turning his attention to Broly, he caught both of his punches and lifted him into the air; using his fists to slam his back onto the ground, Broly yellled out in pain when Shougen grabbed him by the leg, slamming him into the ground. "All of you worms will feel the wrath of ten Billion years!" Shougen roared as he continued to slam Broly into the arena. "Ten Billion years? Is Xerrath truly that old?" Gazu asked, turning his head toward Kaseaen. "Xerrath was both the oldest and strongest of the God's, she was one of the original thirteen God's. she was the first to be anointed, but also the first to fall. She was the one who rallied Universe's 15 to 18's resistance against Lord Zeno during the first ever tournament of power. We always believed that Xerrath could never be defeated, I suppose that now we see that nothing is impossible." Belmond lamented, looking down at his shaking hands.
Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes momentarily as he rubbed his face. "Xerrath is only one hundred million years old, but when she was imprisoned; she was imprisoned in the time prison." Kaseaen explained, fidgeting with her dress. "The time prison?" Piccolo asked, glancing at her in confusion. "The time prison is a place devoid of time, it seems that she kept track of the hours and days. By the time she escaped; ten Billion years had passed for her." Belmond grasped his pants as Kaseaen explained Xerrath's past, gritting his teeth as his eyes twitched.
Glancing at him, Mimi placed her hand on his back. "Why do you seem so stressed?" She asked, rubbing his back. "Because Xerrath was my older sister." "You know that makes perfect sense; she did look like a clown, didn't I say that she looked like a cl-." Tink began to speak before being swiftly cut of mid sentence when Vanity used her horn to force her mouth shut.
As she tried to pull her lips apart, she fell of off Penga's Shoulders and began to wriggle on the floor of the seats. "I'm sorry for our ignorance, we had no choice." Peiri apologized, holding out her hand. Grasping her hand, Belmond smiled. "No, it's alright. Thank you for releasing her." Belmond thanked, as Peiri tilted her head in confusion. "Releasing her from what?" Peiri asked, shaking her head in confusion.
Before answering, Belmond took a deep breath, a small smile forming on his face. "From herself I suppose… Something happened to her; what you fought, what tortured your Universe was not the Xerrath I knew; that was not my sister." Everyone turned to look at Belmond as he explained more about Xerrath. "What happened to her?" Gohan asked as Belmond simply shook his head as an answer. "I have no idea, the last time I remember Xerrath being herself was the day she left with him." Belmond explained, pointing up at the Grand Priest; who still had the demented smile spread wide across his face.
Everyone fell silent once more as they absorbed Belmond's explanation. Their attention shooting back to the arena when Vegeta began to roar.
The stands shook violently as Vegeta began to glow, falling silent as he closed his eyes, taking a few deep breaths. The stands watched in awe as Vegeta began to grow in size, with Shougen's attention locked on Vegeta, Jiren grabbed Goku and Drago as Broly grabbed Zagraeus and Merrick and jumped to safety onto a rock above Shougen and Vegeta.
Berrus gasped as he watched Vegeta grow in size, his eye twitching. "Gigantification!? How? Only the Yardratian's can use that ability." Berrus marveled at Vegeta who now stood at least a hundred feet above Shougen, the rest of the spectators shocked silent as Vegeta's hair turned snow White. "Ultra Instinct?" Belmond asked, looking to Berrus for answers.
Shaking his head, Berrus began to laugh as tears fell freely from his eyes. "I should have realized it during their fight against Moro but I see that he's finally done it hasn't he Whiss?" With a small smile Whis nodded his head. "Yes." The members of all Universe's looked at Berrus confused until he stood from his seat. "You Saiyan's truly are something." He applauded, a proud smile stretched across his face. "What are you talking about?" Kukei asked, tilting her head. "Vegeta has mastered the art of spirit manipulation, no one outside of the Yardratian race has ever done it… Those two... They really are something else." Berrus admitted, starring at Vegeta, his face full of pride. "Spirit manipulation? Would you mind elaborating further?" Aoia asked, turning towards Whis. "Vegeta has achieved complete piece within his own soul, he has now attained complete mastery over his own spiritual energy. Unlocking his hidden potential; he can now alter every hair, fiber and molecule in his body. He is in complete control over his entire body." Whis explained, smiling as he listed Vegeta's abilities. "Is the ability to drain others energies a part of this?" She asked as Whis nodded. "It is, it is a part of Vegeta's; forced Spirit Fission. This is also another part of that same set of abilities." He explained as Vegeta roared.
Smiling, Vegeta laughed as he looked down at Shougen. "Now, do you still think you can win? No more games... Playtime is over!" He stated as he kicked Shougen into the air, following up by punching him; his entire fist covering his body. Sending him crashing back to the stage, Shougen laughed as he stomped his giant foot onto him, causing him to cry out in pain.
The stands watched with baited breath as Vegeta lifted his foot, revealing Shougen, embedded in a crater. Without a single word, Vegeta grabbed him out of it and began to crush him in his grasp. "Vegeta!?" Goku gasped as Shougen began to spread Vegeta's fingers apart.
Laughing Vegeta reinforced his grasp using his other hand, gritting his teeth as he fought against Shougen's strength. Gritting his teeth, Vegeta growled as Shougen forced his hands apart to free himself. "What is this guy?" Merrick asked, watching as Shougen began to laugh. "Not sure honestly, he's one of only two remaining of his race, a race of extremely powerful warriors." "Saiyan's?" Goku asked, falling in his butt. "I am unsure if our Universe has Saiyan's." Drago replied, shaking his head. "If we do, we've never met one. The only thing we do know is that he is one of three destiny children, blessed by Talos himself. The other two are Drago and myself." Zagraeus explained, shuttering when Shougen pulled his left arm free from Vegeta's grasp before holding out his hand. "Oh no." Drago gasped as he grabbed his sword. "What?" Jiren asked as he glanced at him. "Siegfried also answers the call of Shougen and Zagraeus. He is using that to his advantage." Drago explained as his sword flew into Shougen's grasp. "That's not good." Goku lamented as Shougen drove his sword into Vegeta's hand, causing him to yell out in pain, completely releasing Shougen from his grasp.
Smiling, Shougen held Drago's sword into the air, creating a chain of light before swiftly using it to swing himself onto Vegeta's shoulder. Shougen smiled as he wrapped the chain around Vegeta's ear.
Vegeta gasped when Shougen subsequently jumped behind him and planted his legs against Vegeta's back, grunting as he pulled on the chain.
Everyone gasped, watching as Shougen began to pull Vegeta backward. "Impossible! Even with Xerrath's soul inside him? How can someone be this strong!?" Berrus cried, pulling on his ears once more. "Onii will always surprise you, never underestimate him." Peiri scolded, silencing the God once more.
Vegeta began to struggle to hold himself upright as Shougen continued to pull him backward, gasping when; in his attempt to balance himself; his right leg slid out from under him.
Loosing his balance, Vegeta used his weight to force himself backwards; in an attempt to crush Shougen under him. The others watching gasped once more, their eyes shooting wide open in shock when Vegeta crashed onto Shougen, only to have him hold Vegeta up. "This has to be some sick joke." Belmond groaned. "Shougen is the very pinnacle of strength, I assume that you have already heard the story about Shogen stopping the dual moons of Vitania from crashing into our planet? Now I presume that you can see that it was as factual as anything could have ever been." Aoia stated as the ground beneath Shougen's feet began to crack and break as he struggled to hold up Vegeta's massive frame. "Just what is this guy?" Merrick asked, shaking his head in complete disbelief. "Shougen is the best of us." Zagraeus replied, watching as with a single powerful roar, Shougen tossed Vegeta away from him and fell to his knees. "Now's your chance Vegeta, finish this!" Berrus yelled, saliva flying from his mouth in excitement.
Rising to his feet, Vegeta growled as he watched Shougen look up at him with a smile on his face. "I admire your ability to continue to fight in vain, even while knowing that your end is inevitable." Shogen mocked, his voice becoming raspy, his own voice being echoed by a female voice as well; sending a shiver down the collective spines of everyone. "Impossible, that's Xerrath's voice." Belmond revealed as he stared at Shougen in complete shock.
As Shogen laughed, a ball of white energy formed in Vegeta's hand. "Is that so? Well I admire your ability to die! Final Shine Attack!" As he yelled, a beam of white energy shot from his hand towards Shougen who continued to stand and smile.
Everyone's eyes spread wide when Shougen leapt into the air and began to roll.
Before their eyes, Shougen transformed from the large man he was, into a massive three headed dog; black spikes protruding from his back, neck and armored tail, with exposed flesh and muscles. Three large chokers adorning his neck with broken chains hanging from them.
Throwing all three heads into the air, Shougen released a roar so intense it cracked the shield placed between them and the null realm. While he roared, he began to form his own attacks as Vegeta's grew near; a large ball of fire from the middle, a ball of electricity from the left and a large green ball from the right.
Watching in complete shock everyone stared, dumbfounded at Shougen as he launched his attacks at Vegeta.
