Chapter one: Who are you?

It starts with a black screen.

A heavily scottish accented female voice, speaking in a voice over, asks

"How long have I been here?"

The blackness fades away, revealing a, rather angry looking, young, rose-pink colored female gargoyle.

Chains wind around her wings, tails, arms and legs, keeping them from being able to move.

A large muzzle clamps her snout closed.

"Too long." The voice continues.

"I don't remember my name, my past, or anything. I'd say I remember that I'm a gargoyle, but..."

The female glances at her reflection in the glass.

A growl like a sound of thunder escapes her throat, her eyes briefly turning red, and she shakes her head, turning away.

"I'm not even sure I even qualify as a gargoyle anymore."

She sighs, looking upset.

A lab worker and two guards approach her cell, unlocking the door.

She growls at them.

"Save it, beast." One of the guards snarls at her.

Both guards approach her.

She starts struggling and fighting, growling and hissing, trying to snap at them.

They ignore it and unhook her chains from the wall.

The chains loosen just a bit, just enough for her to move a little.

She takes advantage of this and quickly wrestles herself from the chains, a row of spines suddenly rises on her back, running from the back of her neck down to the tip of each of her tails.

She flares out her wings, knocking the guards and the lab workers to the side, and breaks her arms, legs, and tails free, running off.

She gets out into a hallway, an alarm going off and red lights flashing.

She growls and shakes her head again, furious.

Other guards start running at her.

She snarls, her eyes flashing red.

She quickly glances around and then spots an air vent.

She smirks behind the muzzle, and leaps up, breaking into the vent.

"Oh boy, that's not good." A male voice grumbles from out of view.

Up in the ducts, The female sighs, slowly making her way through the tight, dark, dusty spot.

She spots a patch of light ahead of her and carefully goes for it.

It leads to a grate, up on the roof.

She breaks the grate open and pulls herself out, shaking off dust and cobwebs, looking very disgusted.

She stretches out her wings, and tugs at her muzzle.

The alarms are still going off and she realises that she'll be caught if she stays any longer.

She snarls and takes off.

A while later she lands on the roof of a house, and, once she's sure she's safe, she starts pulling at the muzzle again.

Inside the house, Elisa, hearing something strange, goes to investigate.

She finds the rose colored female, still tugging at the muzzle.

The female tries to roar, but the muzzle won't allow her, so it sounds more like a growl, and she sighs.

"Do you need help?" Elisa asks, carefully approaching the, rather angry, female.

She glares over at the human for a moment, then lowers her head, accepting the offer for help.

Elisa looks at the, rather large, iron lock on the muzzle.

"That's a pretty sturdy looking lock." She mutters to herself.

The female pauses, then wraps a huge clawed hand around the lock, snapping it off.

She pulls the muzzle right off, and tosses it far away from her, looking rather disgusted.

"Ay, thank you lass." The female states, a smile on her face.

"For what?"

"Well, you reminded me there was a lock." The female chuckles. "I owe you one."

"I'd best to go now, I'll see you around."

She turns to leave.

"Wait, who are you?" Elisa askes.

The rose colored female turns around again.

"I don't have a name, lass."

"You don't have a name?

"Ay, that's what I said, wasn't it?" She responds. "Anyways, farewell. I hope to be seeing you around, miss."

She waves and takes off.
