Prompt: There isn't a word in the dictionary that can explain your type of beauty.

Definition of Beauty

The dictionary defines beauty as "the quality or aggregate of qualities in a person or thing that gives pleasure to the senses or pleasurable exalts the mind or spirit". What's my definition of beauty? My wife.

Penny is a beautiful person, both inside and out, and lord knows she's given me pleasure to my senses and my mind. Which is why as I stand outside the changing room in the local motherhood maternity, as she complains through the door that she's fat and ugly because of this pregnancy, I say "you're beautiful".

"Damnit Penny, snap out of it. You're pregnant" I say. "Yes you don't look the same, and you'd rather lay around in sweats then go clubbing, but it doesn't mean you're any less beautiful". She exits the dressing room, clothes in hand. I take them from her and lean my head on her shoulder as she faces the mirror in the store. I slip my free hand into hers and start to whisper "you have gorgeous blond locks, that would make rapunzel jealous. You have beautiful green eyes, that make me a sucker whenever you pull your puppy dog eyes, you have beautiful lips, they're even adorable when you're drooling", I say. I place the clothes on the chair and hold penny, you can tell she's starting to tear up. I continue whispering "you have the breast friends (yes, I couldn't resist saying that!), and our child is going to love them as much as I do, you have gorgeous curves, which make any outfit stand out. You have this adorable baby bump, which I love because it means we created a life, and you're doing all the work, and I'm so proud of you", I say as I rest one hand on her protruding stomach. "You're always going to be gorgeous in my eyes penny. Nothing will ever change that", I say as I pick up the clothes and hand her the credit card. "Now how about we buy you these clothes and then hit the grocery store on the way home, and once we're home, I'll really show you how beautiful you are.
