Newfound Friendships:

The scene at the park was cute and not at all odd, until you considered that two kids swinging together in an empty park at night wasn't so normal. However, no nefarious deeds are being done by these two children tonight, they're simply living their best life. One is an eight-year-old girl wearing a powder pink shirt, white skirt, red zip-up jacket, and white and red trainers, while the other is a 7-year-old boy wearing an old beige shirt and jeans(both much too big for such a small boy)and old beat-up shoes that should have been put to rest years ago. Despite the boy having been abused, he was still smiling and laughing beside his friend.

"Harry, watch this! I'm gonna jump off!" Sally said excitedly. Harry looked concerned for his friend.

"B-be careful Sal, I d-don't want you getting hu-hurt," Harry said, his voice light and a bit worried. Sally just laughed and swung a little higher before pushing off the swing entirely and soaring through the air. She landed a few feet away, before stumbling and falling. Harry was off of his swing in an instant, running over to check that she was okay. The young girl laughed, sounding carefree and at ease as she looked up at her friend, assuring him that she was fine. She stood up and brushed herself off, before grabbing Harry's hand and leading him to an easily climbable tree at the edge of the forest. At the top of the tree, almost completely hidden from view was a small treehouse that didn't house much. The two kids quickly climbed the tree and shimmied their way into a treehouse just for them. Inside the treehouse was a thick sleeping bag, bottles of water, and a few cans of ravioli. Sally had helped Harry make this little hide-away and had gotten the few things in here for Harry whenever he couldn't stay at the Dursley's. Isn't that sweet? The two sat talking for a while before Harry yawned and they realized just how late it was. Sally sat down by the head of the sleeping bags Harry laid down. The girl sat and played with Harrys' hair while singing a lullaby until she was certain Harry was truly asleep, before she disappeared into thin air, with an echoing childish giggle that brought chills to the few people left in the park, but brought the sleeping boy a bit of comfort.

A gift since I was gone so long, sorry it's so short.
