Liza Marie's Eyes

Chapter 1: Afraid Of The Dark
Six-year-old Liza Marie Anderson was at Noah Puckerman's house in a guest room screaming, "Dada, turn on the lights!" Over and over before Noah comes into the room, noticing the lights were already on. Then, as Noah holds her, he says to Blaine, "Blaine, my truck is blocking your car, just get her car seat and put it in my truck!" As soon as he leaves the room, Noah looks at the others and says, "Kurt, Go get her coat. I'm taking her to the hospital!" Before Kurt can protest, Noah glares at Kurt and says, "Get, coat, now!"
Soon Noah is putting Liza Marie in her car seat and Blaine gets in the passenger side of the truck. Before he gets in his truck, Burt says, "Blaine, I don't think Liza Marie wants you to go." As the men see Burt is holding Liza Marie's Hulk doll. Blaine just nods before getting out and Noah says to Burt, "Mr. H., I don't know what's going to happen here, but I really hope her blindness is temporary." Burt just looks at Liza Marie, who was moaning as he holds a rag on her forehead, as he says, "Me too, Puck, me too."
Soon Noah is storming into the hospital holding Liza Marie, as he says, "I need some help! My niece has a fever and has gone blind!" Soon Noah is being led to a bed in the I.C.U. as Burt walks in after parking the truck. As soon as Liza Marie was asleep again, Noah lays next to her and prays, "Father, I know, this is Blaine's daughter here, but I really would appreciate it if you would let her live through this. Blaine is a good guy and I really don't want him to lose Liza Marie. I know Beth is with Shelby, but I don't want Blaine to go through the pain I did. Amen"
When Liza Marie woke up an hour later, Noah had gone to the bathroom and Burt was trying to keep her calm. As the doctor looked at her eyes and tried to figure out how she became blind. Everything the doctor said to Burt was scaring her, and this made Burt mad. But he wasn't the one that yelled at the doctor. Noah was the one the others hear when they come in, as he says, "Why the hell would you scare her like that?! She is just a kid and you have the nerve to say that in front of her!" Then there was a pause before Noah screamed, "No! I am not her father, but I am not going to let you scare her, or upset her! She's already afraid of the dark and you tell her Grandpa that she will never see him again!"
Then they heard Liza Marie scream, "No!" Over and over before a doctor walks into the waiting room. As he asks, "Which one of you is Liza Marie's parents?" When Blaine and Kurt stand up, Quinn hears the doctor mumble, "Oh great fags!" Before she asks, "Mr. H, could you come here? This doctor has a problem with the fact that Liza Marie is the daughter of fags!" Soon Burt was in the doctor's face saying, "Do you know who I am?" The doctor looks Burt up and down before his face goes white and he talks with Blaine about Liza Marie.
When Liza Marie was put in a room, Noah stayed with her every night and Burt was there during the day when visiting hours were over. When Liza Marie was put through a battery of tests and CAT scans. Noah and Burt were the only two she would let go with her. After this, a doctor told Kurt and Blaine that the blindness was due to a brain aneurysm. Soon Blaine was throwing things around before Noah bear hugs him and says, "Breathe, Man, I want to throw things too, but that won't help Liza Marie." Blaine just screams, "Puck, that's my daughter and she's blind! How am I supposed to act?! Kurt doesn't want to come here because of what happened to his mom and I tried to keep calm here! I can't do it anymore and this just isn't fair! And don't tell me you know what I'm going through! You have no clue what I am going through!"
Soon Burt walks into the room as Noah says, "You want to scream, you want to come in with a flame-thrower, and yell at the doctors or anyone. Blaine, I lost Beth to Shelby and Mr. H lost Kurt's mom to cancer. We might not have gone through the same things, but we do know how you feel! Blaine your daughter is my best friend and I don't want her to be going through this either! God, Blaine, you're not alone here!" Then Liza Marie says, "Papa, go home! Dada needs you more and this is not helping me feel better. I have Uncle Nono wiff me and I'll be okay. Just go home Papa, you are not doing me any good by being this mad. I could be mad at God too, but I don't want to. Just go home." Blaine just kisses her forehead and says, "Okay, Liza Marie. Ha, I hope your Aunt Beth don't get jealous that you want to be with her dad."
Noah just chuckles before saying, "Beth? What about you and Kurt? This is your daughter! I'm just her friend here!" Then Blaine whispers, "I know and my daughter has a crush on you." Before Burt chuckles and Liza Marie says, "Papa, what did you say to Nono?" Blaine tries to fight back his laughter as he says, "Nothing!" Then he runs out of the room as Liza Marie gets red in the face before she yells, "Nono is wiff Queenie, Papa and you know that!" Then Liza Marie asks, "Nono, could you kiss me? I know I'm not dying, but I doubt any boy I like will want to date a blind girl."
Noah kisses Liza Marie on the lips as Quinn comes in with Noah's son, two-year-old Junior. Then Junior growls before saying, "Dada! Li Li!" This made Liza Marie frown before whispering, "I like Junior, but if he likes me. He won't understand what is going on." Noah just whispers in response, saying, "If he really loves you, he won't care that you're blind." Soon Noah gets up and Liza Marie feels Junior's forehead against hers before they lay down as they drift off to sleep.
The next day, Liza Marie wakes up hearing Junior say, "Liar! You're wrong! She will see again!" Then she says, "No, I won't, Junior!" Before she hears him running and Quinn yelling his name as she leaves the room. Thirty minutes later, she heard Kurt talking to Junior as he says, "I know this is hard to understand, Junior, but Liza Marie got a boo boo in her head, and now she can't see." Before Junior started to cry and she felt him get into bed with her. Then he says, "Junior loves Li Li. Sorry you can't see me, but I'll never leave my Li Li." This made her cry, and by the time the others came to see her; she was asleep again.
