Author's note.
Welcome everyone. Here is the start of the Battle Royal. However, there will be some changes to the members as things turned out differently. So I say you just enjoy this and sit back. Also, I still got my poll up on my profile page and don't expect much duelling in this, because the mystery of who Shun, Lulu and Yuto are is finally gonna be solved. So head down there and vote before June 10th. Now, with out further ado. Enjoy this.
Chapter 15
I though this was a battle royal, not a man hunt
Velvet POV
Well, today's the big day. The day of the Battle Royal. If you don't know what one is look it up, I'm not explaining. Okay I will. Basically a whole bunch of duelist duel at the same time and the last one standing is the winner. And as for my competition, well. I got Zuzu, Yuya, Sora, Gong, Kitt, Reed, a fat fisherman, two ninjas, two of Iggy's flunkies, a German girl and this cute Arabian boy. And Nico had to introduce this and I'm not gonna go into it, so, I'll get to the part where Declan was a total dickhead.
"To all those participating in the Battle Royal", said Declan. "I have an announcement to make. You are all aware of the bounty I placed on the head of Velvet. Well, I am now doubling it if you defeat her and bring her in. A few days ago, I was nearly killed by an assassin. And for some reason, he mentioned Velvet's name. But I am not accusing her of hiring an assassin to kill me, I just think she might know who it is. That is all". He then walked away.
Wow, what a dickhead. Now everyone apart from Zuzu, Sora and Gong looked at me.
"You're welcome to challenge me you fuckers", I said. "I'll beat your asses like meat with a meat-tenderiser!". And what happened next was pretty fucking cool. The entire city was turned into a three way environment of Fire, Ice and Earth. As soon as the horn was blown, we ran out into the city and the battle royal could now begin. But what I wasn't aware of, was that there were three unfamiliar figures watching me.
As I made my way through the fire area, I ran into Yuya.
"Yuya, what are you doing here?" I asked.
"Well", said Yuya. "Considering what I've seen over the past few days, I am more than in my right to say,...WHAT! IN THE ACTUAL FUCK! IS GOING ON!?"
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you", I said. "Oh, and by the way, I activate Shaddoll Fusion. Now, I fuse Hedgehog and Beast, to fusion summon, El Shaddoll Winda". My monster then appeared on my field. I then hopped on it's back and flew off.
"I'LL SEE YOU IN THE FINALS!" I shouted as I flew away.
"I wonder how Zuzu is doing?" Asked Yuya.
Meanwhile.
Zuzu was in the ice area and was looking around.
"Oh great", said Zuzu. "I'm lost".
"You ain't the only one". It was Gong.
"So, what are you doing here?" Asked Zuzu.
"I don't mean to be rude", said Gong. "But there's just something not right about Velvet".
"What do you mean?" Asked Velvet.
"Ever noticed how cynical she can be when duelling?", asked Gong. "Not to mention that thing she said in her duel with Micky".
"Yeah, that poor girl was terrified for some reason" said Zuzu.
"If you ask Gong, we should keep an eye out" said Gong.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!".
A loud scream was heard in the distance. "What was that?" Asked Zuzu.
"Gong doesn't know, but he intends to find out" said Gong as he and Zuzu ran to the source of the sound. It was that Arabian boy, Halil. He had his back against the wall. And what was more shocking was that the girl member of those unfamiliar guys that were watching had him cornered and she had FIVE humanoid birds on her field.
"Alright, now, I'm gonna ask you again", said the girl. "Tell me WHERE VELVET is".
"I-I don't know" said Halil. What came next, shocked everyone that were watching. This girl pulled out a fucking gun. Everyone gasped at this.
"You were one of the people who saw her before she entered", she said. "Now where is she?!". Before she could pull the trigger, Zuzu threw a piece of ice and knocked the gun out of her hand.
"Leave him alone!" Shouted Zuzu as she and Gong activated their duel disks. Halil used this as an opportunity to get the hell out of there.
"So that's how you wanna play it, huh?", asked the girl. "I'm Lulu, and I'm looking for Velvet".
"You're gonna have to duel us if you wanna get to our friend" said Zuzu.

"I summon Aria the Melodious Diva" said Zuzu.
A female fairy with pink skin and purple hair wearing orange and dark maroon clothing appeared on her field.

"Next, I'll place one card faced", said Zuzu. "Who's next?".
"Me", said Gong drawing the top card of his deck. "I summon Superheavy Samurai Kabuto in attack mode".
A robot samurai carrying a hammer appeared on Gong's field.

"I end my turn" said Gong.
"Well", said Lulu. "This is a load of shit I walked into".
"Then maybe you shouldn't bring guns to a duel" said Zuzu.
"Well, can you blame me?" Asked Lulu.
"YES!" Shouted Zuzu and Gong.
"Oh well, I overlay my two Sapphire Swallows and my three Cobalt Sparrow" said Lulu. Her five monsters then turned into green beams of energy and disappeared into a black, starry vortex.
"With these five monsters, I build the Overlay Network", said Lulu. "I Xyz summon, Lyrilusc Assembled Nightingale". Lulu's new monster was a woman with bird-like features and was coloured yellow, green, pink and orange.
"Oh, and she gains 200 attack and defence points for each overlay unit she has" said Lulu.

"You're right", said Lulu. "This just to distract you. Toodles". Lulu then jumped up and caught Nightingale's leg and they flew off.
"YEAH! GET BACK HERE!" Shouted Zuzu before she and Gong chased after her.
Meanwhile.
Yuya was looking through the lava area where he ran into Sora.
"Hey Sora" said Yuya.
"Oh, hey there Yuya" said Sora.
"Have you found any opponent's yet?" Asked Yuya.
"No", said Sora slightly disappointed. "But, there is just something about Velvet that I just don't think is natural. When I first met her, I.E. I pounced on her, she looked as though she had been possessed by a demon". Yuya was shocked by this.
"Possessed, I highly doubt that" said Yuya.
"HEY YA BASTARD!".
Yuya looked up to see two students dressed as ninjas.
"Oh great, who are you?" Asked Yuya.
"I'm Nagi" said the one in blue.
"And I'm Taka" said the one in yellow.
"And what do you want?" Asked Sora.
"Revenue for Iggy!" Shouted Taka.
"And we got a feeling you know something about that 'Velvet' girl" sad Nagi.
"All we know is that she showed up at our school one day", said Yuya. "That's all we know about her".
"I highly doubt that", said Taka as he and Nagi activated their duel disks. "Now tell us where she is or-".
BANG!
BLAM!
The sound of a gun firing could be heard and both Taka and Nagi held their shoulders in pain. They then dropped to the floor and fell over a cliff and landed on the floor in front of them.
"Oh fuck!", shouted a voice. "I can't believe he talked me into this". The voice belonged to the young boy from the group that was watching me.
"Oh my god! He's got a gun!" Shouted Sora.
"Oh my god! They have guns!" Shouted Nico.
"Yes, I have a gun, what else is new?" Asked the boy rhetorically.
"Who are you?" Asked Yuya.
"My name is Yuto", said the boy. "And I'm looking for Velvet".
"We haven't seen her since the tournament started" said Sora.
"Then I hope your soul's prepare for the afterlife" said Yuto aiming his gun.
"Apkollone attack!" I shouted. Yuto raised an eyebrow before a ball of energy struck him and he was flung into the side of a building.
"Where did that come from?" Wondered Yuya.
"UP HERE!" I shouted Yuya looked up to see me riding El Shaddoll Winda and El Shaddoll Apkollone was on top of a building.
"Velvet!", called out Yuya. "What's going on?!".
"Just follow me!" I shouted before I flew away. Yuya and Sora looked at each other before shrugging. They then ran after me. Yuto got off the wall and then ran after them.
"If I don't get them, sir will never let me down" he said before running after them.
Meanwhile, Halil had ran into that German girl, Olga and some fat fish guy named Trout.
"And then I ran away" said Halil.
"Well, that sounded intense", said Olga. "I guess you owe those Yusho kids for that".
"Regardless, you think they're gonna call off the royal?" Asked Trout.
"I believe so", said Halil. "After all, we can't have a tournament with crazy gun people running around".
"How about a crazy gun person right behind you?!". The three looked behind them to see Shun holding a rifle pointed at them.
"Put them up" he said. Not wanting to get shot, the three put their hands up.
"Are you going to shoot us?" Asked Trout.
"Only if you don't tell me where Velvet is" answered Shun. Just then, the entire environment turned back to normal and Lulu crashed into Shun.
"Jesus Lulu, watch it!" He shouted.
"Sorry boss", said Lulu. "But for some reason my monster disappeared while I was using it to fly".
"Well this can't get any worse" said Shun.
"Hey!". Zuzu and Gong then arrived.
"Oh FUCK my gorgeous ass, RUN!" Shouted Shun. And so, the chase was on.
Meanwhile.
"What the hell happened?", wondered Kitt. "Everything just turned back to normal". I then ran past Kitt nearly knocking him over.
"Get out of the way you short bastard!" I shouted.
"Pardon me" said Yuya as he ran past Kitt.
"Uh, I'm with them" added Sora following Yuya.
"Hey!", shouted Kitt. "Watch where you're-". The sound of a gun shot interrupted his talk. He then saw Yuto coming towards him, armed, and he ran away.
"Oh fuck fuck fuck fuck FUCK!" Shouted Kitt as he ran. If you're wondering where Reed is, he got shot in the leg and I have no fucking clue what happened to the ninjas. We ran all the way back to the stadium where I had a great feeling that someone was about to get shot. But before any guns could fire, the three were covered in a large net.
"Oh for fucks sake!", shouted Shun. "Where the hell did this shit come from?!".
"From us".
The two voices came from the two ninjas I saw earlier. One was red and one was blue.
"What the, I thought there was a reason why you two disappeared" I said.
"I am Moon Shadow" said the blue one.
"I am Sun Shadow" said the red one.
"And I should give a fuck, becauuuuuuse?" I asked.
"Because Declan hired us" said Moon Shadow.
"He knew that the assassin were most likely looking for you as well" said Sun Shadow.
"So he had us blend in as contestants" said Moon Shadow. So, are these guys gonna finish each other's sentences, cause it's gonna get fuckin' annoying if they are.
Then dick-len, oh sorry, Declan came out and looked at Lulu, Yuto and Shun.
"You three injured three students and as a result, interrupted the most important tournament in this city", said Declan. "So, tell me what you are-".
"Oh for FUCK sake we're here for Velvet!" Shouted Shun, his voice changing to one I recognised.
"Wait a fucking minute", I said. "I know that voice". That made Shun gulp.
"I, uh, don't know what you're talking about?" Asked Shun worryingly.
"Just give it up sir", said Yuto, his voice sounding whinier. "Velvet already knows who we are".
"I agree with my husband", said Lulu, who's voice had changed to a southern accent. "She already recognises your voice and no doubt recognises his".
"Okay, fine", said Shun returning to the voice I recognised. "We're fuck and we won't even get paid".
"Paid for what?" Asked Yuya.
"Just drop the disguises already" I said. Then the three were engulfed in blue flames. This made everyone gasp and they were shocked at this. But, I couldn't blame them.
"How can you look at this so casually?" Asked Yuya.
"I've seen them do this before" I said.
"You've seen people set themselves on fire before?!" Asked Kitt.
"No, I've seen them transform before" I answered.
"Transform?" Asked Zuzu.
"Look" I said.
Zuzu then looked at the fire and saw that the fire had died down, three demons were in the places of Shun, Lulu and Yuto. The first one had long, black and white horns and had what appeared to be a heart shape on his forehead. The second one was shorter and had white hair that lead to black and white horns. The final one was a girl who had black hair and short black hair. Everyone except for me gasped.
"W-what are those things?", asked Olga. "Devils?".
"No you dope", I said. "They are imps. More specifically the group known as the Immediate Murder Professionals".
