He stepped into the guildhall. It was rather different than it usually was. The walls decorated, the ceiling full of floating balloons. Even the guild members were dressed beautifully. Made him felt a little underdressed. But that didn't matter, because he was going to strip either way. He was aware of that.

He watched as Chelia ran deeper into the hall, found her dragon slayer friend. The blue-haired one. He watched as they jumped happily meeting each other. Everyone in the guild was enjoying themselves, talking to each other. He saw someone he cared about, his brother. His black-haired brother was challenged by the pink-haired dragon slayer to a drinking contest. He smirked. Their life long rivalry would never end.

Then he saw her. The love of his life. She was glowing beautifully with her smiles and grins plastered all over her face as her blue locks fell over her shoulders. He smiled. Just watching her beautiful smile made his world so alive. So beautiful. Her beautiful voice was like a song in his ears, as she encouraged his brother in his challenge against the fire dragon slayer.

"Stop right there!"

He turned around at the threatening voice. Accompanied with another laughing voice. The voice that had invaded his consciousness. His heart skipped a beat when he saw her. The face that invaded his dreams. Made him questioned his love toward Juvia.

Meredy laughed out loud as she threw an empty beer mug hit her guildmaster's head. She ran and hid behind Erza when the older man rushed toward her, seek her protection. She laughed when the armoured mage stopped him approaching her and even more when the blue-haired male looked down to his shoes after his attempts to reason with Erza failed miserably. She wrapped her arms around Erza from behind and rested her chin on her shoulder.

"Don't let her drink!" the guildmaster warned, made her to stick her tongue out at him.

Lyon unconsciously smiled. His eyes fixated to the maguilty mage. His pale white face painted with pink shade every time he saw her almost-closed eyes when she smiled or laughed. How happy she looked, being around people she cared about. Her pink hair bounced along her jumpy steps when she ran away from her guild members. Her laughs rang in his ears. She looked so adorable. Her short, pink dress billowed around her as she twirled, avoided Mira who was carrying a tray full of beers. However she hit the ongoing rivalry of drinking challenge, made both mages to fall onto the floor. He almost running to her but she climbed back to her feet in no time and laughed out loud. All the surprised gasps changed to laughter. He almost approached her, but Mira reached her first. The infamous barmaid brought her up to the second floor to change. Jellal shook his head when they walked past him.

It was expected to meet her that night. The party was to celebrate Crime Sorcière was now a legal guild. They no longer needed to hide and kept running. They could live their life as freely. Lyon questioned himself for whom he was there. The blue-haired girl that he kept reminding himself was the love of his life. Or the pink-haired girl whose took his breath away every time she glanced his way.

He climbed up the stairs to the second floor when she took too long to come back. Not that he was waiting for her. He just wanted to check If she was alright. A change of clothes shouldn't take too long.

"…fell on Gray and Natsu. They were having a drinking game. Too bad I ruined it." Then he heard her laughed. But it sounded not as happy as she was just now. He pushed the door slowly and glanced around the room. She was seating by a window, looked up to the night sky. She didn't notice he came in.

"Who are you talking to?" he asked.

She turned around. Her eyes red and tears threatened to fall. She immediately wiped her almost fallen tears.

"No one. I was talking to myself." She turned away immediately when another tears threatened to fall.

"You shouldn't make it a habit." He sat next to her, mimicked her and leaned his chest against the window frame and looked up the sky. "The moon is beautiful tonight," he said. He turned to her smilingly.

A tears fell off her cheek. She couldn't tear her eyes away from him.

"It's okay to cry. It's not that you're weak if you cry," he said.

She inhaled deeply, tried to hold herself from crying. She wiped her wet cheeks with the back of her palm.

"I'm not crying," she denied. "I was talking to Ur."

"Ur?"

"She said I can look to the sky and tell her everything. She will listen."

He finally understood that she was talking about Ultear, his master's daughter. He heard how closed they were. He also heard that Ultear had disappeared not long ago, to spend her remaining life in solitude.

"We are finally pardon of our sins." She chuckled. "Even though it wasn't enough to pay for everything we had done." Her voice changed, sounded heavier to utter words. "Finally we walk free, live our life like others."

He looked at her. He couldn't help but stared at her. Her fair, porcelain skin had become slightly red from crying. Her eyes were wet but still glistening. Her pink lips stretched as she smiled bitterly. The moment she glanced at him and smiled, he almost fainted. His face grew warm.

He carefully wrapped his arm around her shoulder, tried to console her from her sadness. But he froze when she reflectively turned and hugged him tightly. He almost lost his final breath and tumbled backward. He would definitely die a happy man. In the arm of his love ones.

He slowly enclosed her body in his arms, as careful as if she would break in a sudden movement. He rubbed her back in circular motion, tried to calm her down from her crying and sobbing. He could feel how small her back was under his palms. Her slender body against his chest, pressed harder as she hugged him tighter. Her warm breaths hit his neck, sent shivers down his spine and made his throat dry.

"Don't worry. She must have her reasons to leave. But trust me, she would never forget you."

She lifted her head from his shoulder, created a gap between their bodies. She nodded weakly. He wiped her streaming tears with his thumbs. He pushed her face slightly and peeked into her eyes. He giggled when she chuckled shyly.

"Oi, what you doing?!"

He turned to the voice. Gray stood at the door, pointing his finger at them. Behind him, Juvia stood with her hands covered her surprised face. Wait! No, Juvia shouldn't see this!

"We're not doing anything!"

He tried to defend himself or Juvia would take him wrong. He took his arms away from the pink-haired girl.

"Where's your clothes?!" Gray asked, still pointing his finger at him.

He looked at himself. He was naked. No, he still got his pants on. He glanced to Meredy. The girl was staring at him with her face bright red. She immediately jumped off of the couch and ran out of the room.

"We didn't do anything! I swear!"
