The crossover starts off at Walden Academy where Emma Ross is in her history class
"Alright class, your assignment over the week is to write to a pen pal to someone from another town. Any questions?" Said the history teacher
"Yes, why do we have to do this?" Emma asked
"Because writing to a pen pal can inspire you to get to know someone you don't know. They could be into the same stuff you're in to." Emma's teacher replied
"But what does that have to do with History class?" Emma asked
Before the teacher answers, the school bell rings
"Okay class dismissed. Good luck on your assignments. And no slacking off." Emma's teacher said
"This is going to be hard. The internet better help me out with this." Emma said
"I'm sure you'll think of something." Rosie said
Scene now cuts to the Girl Meets World universe at John Quincy Adams Middle School where Cory is giving his class an assignment
"Okay class what I want you to do for this week is to write to a pen pal. It can't be anyone in this class. It has to be someone you don't know." Cory says
"Is there a due date for this?" Maya asked
"No but if you all do well, I'll order pizza for the class and have a free day." Cory replied
"Sweet." Maya said
"Thanks Mr. Matthews." Lucas said
The school bell rings and everyone but Riley, Maya and Lucas leaves
"Dad why are you having us write to a pen pal?" Riley asked
"I think it'll be fun for you to write to someone. You never know if they are into the same stuff you're into." Cory replied
Riley gets on her TwitPage (parody of Twitter) and sees Emma's tweet
"Hey there's a girl I follow on TwitPage and she has to do the same assignment as us." Riley says
"What's her name?" Lucas asked
"Her name is Emma Ross. She lives here in the state of New York but in the city of Manhattan." Riley said
"Since she has to do the same assignment as us, why not write to her?" Maya asked
"Maya that's a good idea." Riley says
"Better get started." Cory said

Back in the Jessie universe, Emma, her siblings and Rosie walk into their penthouse
"Hey kids how was school?" Jessie asked
"Boring." Luke replied
"My history teacher is making my class write to a pen pal" Emma said
"What do pen pals have to do with history?" Ravi asked
"Exactly!" Emma replied
"I don't know what the big deal is." Bertram said
"Yeah you love writing to people." Zuri says
"Only on a computer with a keypad. I hate writing stuff out with a pencil." Emma said
"So just type it and print it. You have a printer." Luke said
"And a big computer." Ravi said
"Which you bought off of mom and dad's credit card." Zuri adds
"That's not a bad idea. Thanks I guess. Well I'm going to go find someone to write to. Come on Rosie." Emma says as she drags Rosie upstairs
"Stop dragging me." Rosie said
"Better not slack off." Jessie says
"Yeah yeah." Emma said
"Well I'm going to play video games. Come on Ravi." Luke said
"Coming brother." Ravi says
Back at the Matthews house, Riley and Cory walk in
"Hey Riley how was school?" Topanga asked
"Dad assigned my class to write to a pen pal." Riley replied
"What does that have to do with history?" Topanga asked
"I thought it would be interesting for them to write to someone they don't know and make new friends." Cory replied
"Anyways mom how was your day?" Riley asked
"Well Auggie got suspended from school." Topanga replied
"Why did he get suspended?" Cory asked
"I got into a fight with someone." Auggie replied
"Did you win?" Riley asked
"Duh." Auggie says
"Well we do have to punish you. You're grounded for the rest of the night." Cory said
"But we're proud of you for sticking up for yourself." Topanga said
"That's fair." Auggie said
"How's Farkle doing at camp?" Topanga asked
"He's doing great. He won't be back until 3 weeks." Riley replied
"Hope he does okay down there and doesn't burn the place down." Cory said
"Well I'm going to do my assignment." Riley said
"Have fun honey." Cory says
"Thanks." Riley said
In Emma's room she is struggling on who she wants to write to
"Ugh why is this so hard?!" Emma yelled
"I thought this would be easy." Rosie said
Luke and Ravi enter
"Hey Emma how goes it?" Ravi asked
"Horrible. I'm having trouble finding on who to write." Emma replied
"Uh hi." Rosie said
"Well Ravi and I are going to the park to play some sports." Luke said
"But don't you suck at sports?" Rosie asked
"Yes I do." Ravi replied
"So why are you going to go play sports then if you suck at it?" Rosie asked
"Cause I'm going to fake an injury at the park so the owner gives me and Luke free stuff." Ravi replies
"Is Jessie okay with that?" Emma asked
Jessie and Zuri walks in the room
"Guys are we going or not?" Jessie asked
"Yeah hurry up." Zuri said
"Bye Emma." Luke said
"Hopefully you'll find someone you can write to." Ravi said
Back in Riley's room, she is just now finishing up typing her letter to Emma when she gets a video from Farkle
"Hey Farkle what's up?" Riley asked
"Nothing much. What's been going on at school?" Farkle asks
"It's going good. My dad gave our class an assignment to write to a pen pal." Riley replied
"What does that have to do with history class?" Farkle asked
"I don't know. I just finished typing mine and printing it out now so I can mail it out to my pen pal I chose to write to." Riley replied
"Okay well I got to go so I don't get in trouble for being on my phone at camp." Farkle said
"Okay well I'll talk to you later Farkle." Riley says
"Alright bye bye." Farkle said
Farkle hangs up as Riley walks downstairs with her letter
"Hey honey did you finish your assignment?" Topanga asked
"Just finished it. I just need a stamp to mail it out." Riley replied
"Check the bottom drawer." Cory says
Riley opens the bottom drawer, takes out a stamp and puts it on her letter
"Okay I'm off to mail it out." Riley said
"Don't get lost." Topanga said
Riley walks out
"So what does writing to a pen pal have to do with history?" Auggie asked
"Why does everyone keep saying that?" Cory asks
"You are the history teacher." Topanga replied
"Touche." Cory said
At the Ross Family Penthouse, Jessie, Luke, Ravi and Zuri walk out of the elevator
"Man that plan worked out better than expected." Zuri said
"Sorry for throwing the ball to hard." Luke said
"It's fine." Said Ravi
Emma and Rosie walk downstairs
"Emma did you finally wrote to someone?" Jessie asked
"You see a piece of paper in my hands?" Emma says
"No." Said Jessie
"Then no. I still haven't found someone to write to." Emma said
"Bummer." Bertram says
Mrs. Kipling growls and slaps Bertram
"Thank you Mrs. Kipling." Emma said
"Serves him right." Rosie said
"Don't worry Emma. I'm sure you'll find someone." Jessie said
Just then the elevator door opens and Tony walks out
"Hey Tony what are you doing up here?" Ravi asked
"There's a letter for Emma." Tony replied
"Give me." Emma said
Emma opens it and sees a note
"What is it?" Zuri asked
"Someone named Riley Matthews wrote to me. She said her class has the same assignment as my class." Emma replied
"Is she dating anyone?" Luke asked
"I thought you wanted me to be your girlfriend since the day you met me." Jessie said
"And what are the chances of that ever happening?" Luke asked
Jessie has a look on her face
"Yeah that's what I thought." Luke said
"What all did this Riley girl say?" Ravi asks
"She said that she loves my fashion designs and would like for me to come to her place to meet her and her family. You guys can come too if you want." Emma replied
"That's a good idea." Jessie said
"Where does she live?" Zuri asked
"She lives here in New York but in a town called Greenwich Village." Emma replied
"Looks like the Rosses are going on a road trip." Luke said
"I'll go start up the car." Jessie said
"Rosie you want to come with?" Emma asked
"Sure I need to get out of town for awhile." Rosie replied
"Bertram I'm not going to bother asking so you can stay home. But no wild parties." Emma said
"Don't tell me what to do." Bertram says
"I better go put Mrs. Kipling in her cage." Ravi said
"Uh Ravi." Luke said
"Yes?" Ravi asked
"She's already to go." Zuri replies
Mrs. Kipling is in her cage
"Oh well that wasn't too hard." Ravi said
"Let's go." Jessie says
They walk in the elevator
"Bye Bertram." Ravi said
"Bye. Won't be the same without you." Bertram says
The door closes
"It'll be amazing!" Bertram yelled as he hits a button and music plays and confetti falls down
The elevator door opens which causes Bertram to stop dancing and everyone is shaking their heads with Luke wrapping his hand around Ravi's shoulders
"Told ya he'd do this." Zuri says
"That is just cold." Luke and Jessie said at the same time
The elevator door closes again as Part 1 ends
