Years had moved on since Danny started the truce with the ghosts and even ghost laws begun setting in place in Amity Park. Danny came out to his parents as half-ghost, they were extremely shocked, but it went well. He started really focusing on his grades and high school and managed to barely graduate; but it really helped with his best friends, Sam, and Tucker.
About four months after Sam, Danny, and Tucker graduated from high school, they began dating; the three of them. Nobody had a big fuss, but if they did; Jazz was there for them to say it to (and probably get their ass kicked too).
They moved into an apartment near their respective colleges, keeping in touch over Skype, texts, and daily calls. Things got a little rocky, but they turned out good in the end. After graduation at their colleges (which each landed in a way for them to fly out and see each other's), they moved into their first home together.
It was a graduation present from Sam's parents.
A large five-bedroom, three baths, home a couple down from Sam's parents' place. But it was still theirs.
Sam became a veterinarian at a local animal hospital, which they eventually adopted a dog.
Tucker became a scientist and started researching more about the world and things to help improve life and keep the earth healthy in the process.
Danny got ready to take over his parents' business. Though it won't have the same name anymore, it's still a Fentons' company.
Things were almost perfect. They were all so happy, all so accepted by the world around them (ignoring certain aspects of Sam's work).
"Tucker, Sam?" Danny crept into their bedroom one night, looking extremely freaked out. "What's wrong, Danny?" Sam asked, setting her book down. "You know how I had to stop taking T for a while, right?" Danny bit his thumb, "Well, it's been a while since I've gotten the bloody hell and I had a feeling and did a test- and I'm pregnant".
Tucker fell to the floor- he passed out.
Sam blinked slowly, unsure.
"So, we're going to be parents," Sam said, mostly to herself. "Yep," Danny ran his hand through his hair, lightly gripping the locks. "Do you want to?" Sam's question threw him off guard. "What do you mean?" He asked, "Do you want to be a father? Keep the kid or kids?" Sam re-asked. He thought about it for a moment.
"Yes, I want to keep it"
They first told Jaz about it, who was understandably shocked, but happy, by the news.
They then went to each of their parents and planned an announcement party with Jack and Maddie.
"Where's the paper plates?" They had been getting ready since early that morning. "I've already put them on the table, Sam" Tucker grabbed the sets of silverware and plastic cups, setting them outside on the food table.
Everything had a blue and pink, with splashes of yellow, on everything. Danny was upstairs with Jaz, getting dressed and ready for the party (which started in an hour, but ever since the start of his pregnancy, everything has taken longer for him to do anything).
Danny wore jeans, ones that were recently purchased, and a baby blue tee shirt.
"You ready, Danny?" Jaz asked, seeing the conflicted look on her brother's face, "As ready as I'll ever be". Jaz knew of her brother's troubled feelings he felt with going through with the pregnancy. She's sure that there will be some troubling times during these next nine months, but she sure, with Sam and Tucker's help, her baby brother will get through this.
There were some fears about Danny being half-ghost and if that would affect the baby or babies, at all. But they'll deal with that when, and if, the problem arrives.
Jaz and Danny climbed down the stairs, heading outside where most of the guests began arriving.
Valerie, Danielle, Star, and her girlfriend, Paulina (who've changed a lot since high school graduation), Sam's parents, Jeremy and Pamela Manson, Tucker's parents, Maurice and Angela Foley, and Vlad.
The guests sat at the tables, chatting amongst themselves. Only Sam and tucker seemed to notice Danny and Jazz's arrival.
"Are you okay?" Sam asked, grabbing his hands, rubbing her thumbs over the tops of his hands.
Danny didn't say anything, scanning over the area. "Danny, speak to me" Sam tried, "I'm scared, Sam" he admitted. "I understand, this could be scary," Jazz said as Tucker came to stand next to Danny, placing his hand on Danny's lower back. "We got your back, Danny" Sam assured him, her eyes meeting Tucker's.
"Forever and always" Tucker pressed a light kiss to Danny's cheek, gently guiding him outside.
"The star is here!" Jaz announced. The guests' heads turned to lay their eyes on Danny, who look uncomfortable under their gaze, so Tucker led him to the table. Danny sat next to his mother, across from Vlad.
"Hello, Daniel" Vlad greeted him, "It's been quite a while since we've last spoken face to face". "It has" Though they've been business partners for ghost laws in Amity, Danny still doesn't fully trust the man. But who could blame him?
The day went by smoothly. They announced the reason behind the gathering (to everyone's shock) and had some cake. Everyone came by to the three parents and congratulated them.
"Bye, Danny" Jazz gave her brother one last hug, before sending him on his way back home. "Bye, Jazz" He returned the hug, pulling away to also give their mother one. "Be safe, Danny" She whispered into his ear, "I'm always safe" he laughed.
"Except when you're off playing superhero" Jazz teased.
Sam, Tucker, and Danny got into their car. Danny in the back seat, Sam in the driver's seat, and Tucker in the passenger's seat.
Danny quickly fell asleep, his face pressed up against the glass.
Nine months started quite fine, but as it went into the fourth month, hormones had stirred up emotions he didn't even know he made or felt. Danny started working at home, at the start of the fourth month.
Dysphoria was hard during the pregnancy. But with his two amazing partners, he made it through.
