A/N: Just a quick trigger warning for homophobic slurs. That's all. Enjoy!

Blaine was in a country club, sipping champagne, he felt so out of place. Blaine turned to his father socializing with other men, no doubt talking about how much of a disappointment he is. His mother mingling with the other ladies to introduce their own daughter to Blaine. Even though Blaine kept reminding her that he was gold star gay and was dating a guy from New York.

He sighed, really desperate to get out, but he couldn't, he should've stayed at New York.

"I heard his faggot son is dating a homeless man." Blaine heard one of his moms friend whisper. Blaine knew there were rumors about who the son of one of the richest man of Westerville was dating, Blaine always tried to ignore them.

"I heard he's dating a male prostitute." Blaine snorted, now that he never heard before.

"I heard the man is penny less, I bet he's just there for the Anderson fortune." Blaine was so amused at the spread of rumors that he didn't notice his parents in front of him.

"Blaine."

Blaine turned at their direction. "We need to talk to you privately please." Blaine, without no other choice nodded and followed. They were just outside the room. Blaine can already see nosy eyes in their direction.

"Blaine. Your mother and I talked and I think you should stop this before you embarrass the family further." His father said.

Blaine clutched his champagne glass tighter and gave a tight smile. "What do you mean father?" Before his father could open his mouth though, his mother started speaking.

"I think what your father means is that you should stop turning down women and saying you have a boyfriend. I met Sharyle's daughter, she's great! She's beautiful, successful-

"Dad, mom, how many times do I have to tell you that I'm not interested in woman and I do have a boyfriend." Blaine interrupted and explains calmly as he could.

"Then where is he?! Where's your low class poor boyfriend?" Mr. Anderson snapped. "You know Blaine you've always been a disappointment! Not only did you turn fag but you chose to fuck a low class prostitute!" His father yelled. They were now being stared at. Blaine's hands were clenched, his knuckles turning white. Before he could speak though, there were murmurs. Blaine's head snapped up and faced the direction where people were staring at. They returned to the room as a black Rolls Royce pulled up. Blaine smirked and smugly leaned back on the wall, listening to other people's whispers.

"Who's that?" Blaine's mom pointed at the tall, pale figure who was now getting out of the drivers side of the car, he was wearing a full white Dior suit, with the suit jacket draped on his shoulders and the outfit was finished with black Prada sunglasses.

"I don't know but he looks rich. We should introduce ourselves." Blaine rolled his eyes at the shallowness of his parents. Blaine walked over the bar with a smug smile and turned his back from the action.

He then heard the click of familiar Louboutin boots. There was silence in the room, everyone waiting what this wealthy man would do. "Hi I'm Blake Anderson, this is my wife Dana Ander-

Blaine smirked at the failed attempt of his father of introducing themselves to the man. The man seemed to ignore them if the continuous clicking of his boots were an indication. Then it stopped. He felt familiar arms snake around his waist. A chin was on his shoulder, Blaine drank his champagne, as if nothing was out of the ordinary. He chuckled when there were collective gasps echoing throughout the room.

"Hey baby." Kurt purred. Blaine finished his champagne, winking at the bartender who was staring with wide eyes, before turning and linking his arms around Kurt's neck.

"Hey, What are you doing here?" Blaine asked as be rubbed the back of Kurt's neck, being fully aware that everyone was staring.

Kurt shrugged and smiled. "I thought you needed saving."

"I did, thank you."

"Your welcome, Love." They then leaned in, fully forgetting the people around the room. Blaine deepens the kiss, as Kurt reached out to cup Blaine's jaw. Blaine moaned when Kurt slid his tongue between Blaine's own lips, Kurt's tongue exploring Blaine's mouth, and Blaine let's him. They then pulled away, Blaine looked at Kurt's face. His hazel eyes, sparkling brightly with love and awe, also knowing a pair of Blue orbs behind those dark lenses were doing the same. They stayed like that for a while before they heard someone clearing their throat. Blaine cocked his head to the side, and Kurt looked over his shoulder with a raised eyebrow.

"Blaine, I believe we are yet to be introduced?" Dana asked. Blaine sighed and Kurt chuckled, with a final peck on the lips the broke apart. Blaine's arms moved to Kurt's waist as he introduced him to his parents.

"Mom, Dad, this is my boyfriend, Kurt Hummel. Beautiful, this is Blake Anderson and Dana Anderson, my parents." Kurt, ever the gentleman, shook their hand with a smile. Blaine caught his mom looking at Kurt from head to toe, her eyes widening when she realized all his clothing were expensive, Blaine rolled his eyes. "Mr. And Mrs. Anderson, nice to finally meet you, I've heard so much about you."

"All good I hope?" Blake asked with a tight smile.

"Sure, we can go with that." Kurt retorted and Blaine snorted when his dad's fake smile fell.

"So what brings you here?" Dana asked.

"Well Mrs. Anderson,-

"Pleas call me Dana, or mom, which ever you prefer, we're basically family now." Blaine's eyes narrowed, god, the audacity of his mother.

"Well Mrs. Anderson..." Dana's smile fell, and Blaine snorted once again. "I came to save my boyfriend from this drab place." He motioned around the room, with a face of disgust. Blaine chuckled, and placed down his own champagne glass to move behind Kurt and wrapped his arms around him and stood on his tip toes to hook his chin on Kurt's shoulder. "Oh Kurt, it's not that bad. Besides you always attend these kind of parties."

"Oh it is. It's so bland, just high class people sipping free champagne in a bland room gossiping. And don't you dare call the parties I go to as bland Blaine Anderson." Kurt said, head turned into Blaine's direction. Blaine laughed and pecked at his lips. Some people around the room seem to take offense and scowled. People were whispering and glancing at them. Blaine didn't really care.

"So Kurt, What do you do for a living?" His father asked. Kurt slid his sunglasses up, revealing his blue eyes, he raised a brow before smiling.

"I'm an investor? My father is, well was." Blaine rubbed Kurt's knuckles, he knew it was hard for Kurt to talk about his family. "He invested money in companies here in Ohio and all his investments were successful, but I don't really don't do that anymore. I invest money to promising companies but not often, I just really live a normal life."

Blaine snorted. "Babe, I don't think being very rich and being an editor in chief for GQ is considered normal."

Kurt laughed. "Oh yeah, and there's that."

"Wait, you're Burt Hummel's son?" Blake asked.

"The one and only." Kurt responded with a sad smile. "You know each other?"

"Kind off. We talked about him investing money in my company but he never called back."

"I wonder why." Kurt mumbled, causing Blaine to laugh.

"I bet he regretted it though, because my firm skyrocketed to success."

"Aha... sure." Kurt said nonchalantly as he grabbed Blaine's champagne glass and took a sip. Blake's eyes narrowed at them both. Kurt glanced at his watch and patted his pockets.

"Ah shit." Kurt cursed.

"What is it?" Blaine asked with a frown.

"Nothing it's just my phone, I left it in the car, I'm supposed to call the HQ about the new magazine."

"No problem, I'll get it." Blaine pecked his lips.

"Blaine-

"Kurt, it really no problem babe, now give me the keys." Kurt looked at Blaine, fully knowing he would not win with this one, he sighed and fished out his keys and handed them to Blaine. He gave Kurt a smile before heading off. Kurt looked at him as he rounded off the corner, disappearing from his view.

Kurt turned again, jumping a little when Mr. and Mrs. Anderson were staring at them. He forgot they were standing there. "I can't believe you gave Blaine the keys to your Rolls Royce." Mr. Anderson said with disbelief.

"What do you mean?" Kurt asked with a very sweet smile.

"He's always so clumsy, I don't even let him near one of my cars." Blake said with a laugh.

"He's not a child anymore Mr. Anderson, I trust him with my heart let alone a replaceable item."'

"How did you two actually meet?" Dana asked deciding to change the subject.

"We met in an art gallery in New York, it was by a mutual friend of ours and we hit it off instantly." Kurt smiled at the memory, he sighed dreamily before he took a sip of champagne.

"Kurt. May I call you Kurt?" Blake asked.

"Well Mr. Anderson, if it's necessary, but I would prefer you would not call me by my name."

He grumbled, Kurt was having too much fun with this. "Look, I'll get straight to the point. I need an investor because the other pulled out, would you be interested?"

Kurt didn't even have to think before he answered. "No."

"Excuse me?"

"I said no. I've read a lot about your reputation Mr. Anderson, and I don't want my name being dragged along your company."

"Whatever you heard it's not true."

"Maybe so, I still don't want to invest in your company."

"Then I forbid you to see Blaine."

Kurt chuckled. "Like I said Blaine's not a kid anymore. He can make his own decisions. You don't control him anymore."

"He's always been an obedient child, he'll obey us." Dana chimed in.

Kurt looked at the two people in front of him. How the fuck did they raise such a humble, compassionate and sweet child when they were the opposite of all that? "Okay so what if I hypothetically invest in your company, Can Blaine be with me?"

"Yes." Blake answered with a nod and a smirk.

"Let me get this straight. I give you money and I get Blaine."

"Correct."

"Fuck you."

"Excuse me?" Blake was now getting irritated and Kurt was beyond angry.

"I said fuck you! Are you not aware that your using your own son as a pawn? Your using him to get what you want! And I don't have to give you money to have Blaine because I already have every part of him. His body, soul and heart."

"You think you know him? We raised him!" Dana shouted.

"Uha, sure all, I didn't know hiring nanies for your children as you go around the world on vocation is considered 'raising a child.' but sure. I know him well enough and I'm pretty sure he'll choose me over you two!"

"He will lose his family if he chooses you."

Kurt takes a calming breath and sighs. Looking around the room. "I really don't want to do this, I don't want him to lose his family. I love him so much. He's sweet, kind, funny, smart and if you two over look that just because his gay, then you don't deserve him."

"And you do?"

Kurt shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe I do, maybe I don't but what I do know he deserves someone who loves him and makes him feel safe no matter what. I don't want him to lose you two. But I'm sorry I really can't invest, I'm not saying he's not worth it, he is so worth it but it feels wrong. I feel wrong knowing the only reason why I'm with him is that because I'm investing money to his parents company, it feels wrong. But even though I'm certain he'll choose me, if he chooses you then I can't do anything about it. I guess I'll have to let him go because I love him that much."

"I'll never let you go." A voice said. Kurt swiftly turns around and saw Blaine standing there. Tears falling down his beautiful hazel eyes.

"Blaine. How long have you been standing there?" Kurt asked.

"Long enough." He stepped forward and wrapped his arms around Kurt's waist again. "When I thought you both couldn't be more shallow you prove me wrong. I'm not a possession that can't be traded for money. You two made it clear that you will never change and I can't keep living like this. You've lost everything, even your own son."

"Blaine if you do this you'll lose us, you'll use your only family." Dana said.

"No. I've lost you two since the moment I told you I was gay. Kurt has become my family, he is my family. And he's right, I would choose him. I'll choose him forever." Blaine looks at Kurt and his eyes was met by Kurt's face looking lovingly at him. Blaine smiles and squeezes his waist slightly. "If you decided to apologize and want to be in my life, and soon your grandchildren's lives." Blaine ginned when he heard Kurt chuckle. "Give me a call and we'll arrange something."

"Never. I don't want to be associated with you two faggots." Mr. Anderson spat.

"Thought as much." Blaine sighs and nods to his mom. "The offer still stands. Kurt. Let's go." Kurt nodded and they left everyone standing there with their mouths agape.

They drive silently back to Kurt's house in Lima. "I know you will never be complete." Kurt's said. "You'll always have a void and I can't fill that void."

Blaine shook his head. "I'm serious Kurt I don't need them. I only need you, your love fills every void in my body. My parents made their bed and now they have to lie on it. I said my piece, now I just want to move forward... With you."

"I love you so much."

"I love you too." Blaine responded with a smile. Then Blaine realized something, it was time, after being together for years, this day just made Blaine even sure that this was what the best decision. "Kurt pull over." Kurt shot him a confused look but pulled over anyway. He unbuckled his seatbelt to face Kurt and he did the same. Blaine's breath hitched when the light of the sunset illuminated Kurt's face.

"Can I ask you a favor?"

"Anything Blaine. I'll give you anything." Kurt said with a smile.

"Will you marry me?" Blaine took out a black velvet box from his suit jacket that he has been carrying for 2 months now. Kurt's breath hitched. Blaine opened the box to reveal a beautiful silver band with a single diamond.

"Yes." Kurt answered breathlessly.

"Yeah?" Blaine asked with a grin.

"Yes! Oh Blaine... Yes! Yes! I'll marry you! A thousand times yes!" They surged forward and kissed until they were breathless. They pulled away with smiles on their faces.

"I don't need anyone else Kurt. I just need you." Blaine said as he slides the ring on Kurt's finger. "I love you."

"I love you too Blaine."

They leaned forward again. They were happy and in love. No one in the world has the power to take that happiness and stop them from loving each other. Ever.
