I'm alive!

Sorry it took so long, I had a really busy summer and little time for writing. The next chapter is almost finished now but I still need some time to polish it. Meanwhile here's a short "special" in the form of a scene that I forgot to include in the last chapter to let you know I'm still kicking.

Stoick led the children and his son up the stairway to the Great Hall, barely containing his excitement. After years of struggle his village would finally have not one but six Divine protectors! And he would be the one to announce them.

Hiccup was half excited and half nervous. Those children were a mystery to him, acting strange one second and almost normal the next. Maybe, just maybe, he will finally get some answer. At the same time though he was worried about what the children would do if their secrets were exposed.

The future riders were nervous. After all, their secret was probably about to be exposed and there was no telling what the vikings would do afterwards. Had they arrived in their original bodies and with their dragons, escaping would be easy, but like this...

That was when the twins remembered something and immediately started snickering. The others shot them questioning looks but before they could say anything they reached the giant door.

By now they were surrounded by a group of vikings who were bombarding Stoick with questions about what happened that night. Said chief however refused to say anything until the entire village gathered.

Once the first vikings opened the door they were all met with loud rumbling. Mildew, oblivious to what happened just hours before, was snoring away, sprawled across a bench exactly where they had left him.

It didn't take long for the other Berkians to connect the dots.

"Mildew!" Stoick shout was loud enough to make the room shake. The old man startled and shot upwards setting off an unexpected chain of events.

First, the rope that was for some reason tied around his ankle yanked him towards the ceiling, suspending him there upside down. Because of this another rope loosened, allowing a large cauldron, half standing on one of the supporting beams overhead, to tip over.

Its contents were sooner smelled than seen. Mildew stopped struggling and looked up horrified just as the tsunami of yellowish grey substance was dumped on him.

The vikings under him quickly jumped out of the way and everyone had to fight the urge to gag as the stench hit them.

Mildew, now transformed into a stinking blob, desperately wiped at his eyes. The string of curses and threats he was spouting came out as a jet of bubbles.

Just as he managed to somewhat regain his sight, a large, incredibly detailed carving of a Monstrous nightmare's head swung down from the ceiling and right into his face.

Mildew zeroed in on the head and immediately released a long girlish scream.

Hiccup raised an eyebrow at the three pranksters, who were looking extremely proud of themselves. He never noticed them creating that part.

Finally, a sharp cleaver shot from the shadows above the fireplace, cutting the rope holding Mildew(almost taking his leg with it) and letting him crash to the ground right in front of the group of time traveling children.

Mildew was sniffling and wiping on his face, snot and tears mixing with the already repulsive liquid.

He froze when he noticed the tiny Snotlout smirking in his face, the other riders wearing similar faces behind him.

"Boo." Snotlout whispered so that only the old man could hear it. Mildew's eyes widened in horror.

"D-D-DEMONS!" He shrieked and quickly scrambled to his feet out of the Great Hall, followed by a burst of laughter.

His hysterical screams echoed around the island long after Stoick finished his speech.

Aight that's that. Like I said the next chapter should be out in a few days but you know how my "should be" usually works out.

Yami_nee out!
