Eggman Exterminates the Wisps

-A Dark Sonic Story-

He sat in his lair, silently observing the alien planet and its inhabitants on the super computer.

Eggman hated the Wisps, he hated their existence with a fiery passion and desired to see them gone. For over half a decade, Eggman had dreamed of the day he wouldn't have to see them again. But now, this was the tipping point.

There would be no going back, the plan was hatched.

Eggman had devised the ultimate solution to the Wisp problem; Mass Genocide!

All of the aliens would be hunted down and eradicated from the face of the universe, they would be exterminated and their home planet would be wiped out as well.

Eggman stood, a cold smile on his face, the time had come to unleash Operation Holocaust.

Eggman stood up from his desk and turned around to face his already-assembled war machines, the Egg-Exterminator-Bots were obediently awaiting their creator's orders, ready to carry out his cold-hearted will.

Sleek and painted blood-red, tall and bulky, the new generation Badniks were armed for their task to come. They would serve their objective well, no questions and nothing but loyalty.

"Begin Operation Holocaust!" Eggman said with villainous malice in his voice, "Leave no stone unturned, show no mercy, exterminate every last Wisp from the face of this universe and ensure their extinction. Nothing can protect them, let the universe fear the true power of the Eggman Empire and take no alien prisoners. Go forth, my creations, and destroy the Wisps!"

With their command given, the Egg-Exterminators filed out of his lair and headed out into the large world beyond, ready to annihilate their targets and strike fear into those who even dared to witness the fearful might of Eggman as he exterminated an alien species.

Even the mad doctor's own Death Egg was ready for its task of annihilating Planet Wisp, exterminating every last Wisp on the planet in one stroke with its newly-equipped super laser that Eggman had just recently installed.

The devious super-villain knew where the planet was, he had not forgotten its location and never would.

Robots operating the station worked at the controls, making sure that its systems were up and running perfectly and that nothing was out of order during the voyage to the planet itself.

Once the coordinates were coded into the warp-drive's computer and soon as a legion of Egg-Exterminators were on board, the robotic crew activated the engines and the Death Egg departed its planet of origin, leaving it and Eggman's base behind for now.

With one push of the warp button from a robot, the Death Egg jumped to light-speed and briefly vanished from the sky.

In a peaceful woodland, Wisps were playing and enjoying the peaceful times, Cyan Wisps interacted with Spike Wisps and Cube Wisps tagged Drill Wisps. Unfortunately for them, the peace and prosperity was all about to be short lived.

Dark shadows fell over the aliens and every Wisp in the vicinity ceased all activities at once, they looked up and saw towering robots looking at them with menacing red eyes.

The robots raised their arm cannons, weapons primed and advanced on the innocent aliens. Seeing the symbol of Eggman on the robots' torsos, the Wisps shrieked and attempted to flee...

However, their escape attempt was all for naught as the Egg-Exterminators fired and the bolts struck the Wisps, vaporizing every last one of them into nothingness in seconds.

A red Wisp wailed in fear, a robot approached it and a laser went off.

Just like that, it was silent as the wind. No more Wisps could be detected in the vicinity, the Egg-Exterminators moved onward to eradicate more Wisps.

In other woodlands and small towns across the globe, Wisps were hunted down systematically and brutally annihilated.

Many of the misfortunate aliens were captured by the robots and taken away to an Eggman factory before being dumped into a special chamber where they were torn apart atom by atom.

Frightened Wisps tried to escape the vile Doctor Eggman's forces but were destroyed horribly amidst their desperate escape attempts; One Jade Wisp tried to avoid its hunters but was detected and caught in a force-field, the Egg-Exterminators showed the green-colored Wisp no mercy.

Half a world away, in a small village, a young anthropomorphic bear was playing with a light-blue Wisp and his Chao.

Both of them were unaware of what was going on across the world, not knowing the horrors that were about to unfold. Ru'gi threw a ball and the Wisp was about to fetch it, but then the ball suddenly bumped into something hard and metallic.

Ru'gi looked up in terror to see a new type of Eggman robot, one with cold red eyes and a laser cannon for an arm.

The bear was terrified, he and many others had heard rumors that the villain was building a new type of robot that was capable of exterminating just about everything.

Then, to the young bear's horror, the Egg-Exterminator raised its gun at the Wisp and fired, the energy blast vaporizing the alien out of existence.

"NO!" Ru'gi protested, his pet Chao cried out in protest as well. The robot, however, ignored their wails and departed the scene.

Meanwhile, on the planetoid of Lost Hex in the skies above the planet, Wisps living there were playing with the animals until the sound of clanking metal perked their senses.

Every Wisp on every corner of the Hex turned and let out alien screams of horror at the sight of incoming Eggman robots, the Egg-Exterminators activated their guns and opened fire on the creatures, killing every last one in sight.

Forest animals cried out in alarm and fled into hiding, unable to accept what they were seeing as it took place.

In Lava Mountain, Zavok and the Deadly Six emerged from their lair to investigate the sounds of chaos that had attracted their attention and were wondering what was afoot.

Soon as they saw the unfolding scene of Eggman robots ruthlessly destroying Wisps, Zavok chuckled in amusement, having not expected to see this.

However, the presence of the Zeti did not go undetected as the Eggman robots in the vicinity spotted the Deadly Six.

A multitude of Egg-Exterminators fired force-field rays at the Zeti, freezing them in place before the robots fired on Zavok and his group, killing them too.

Many light-years away, the Death Egg appeared in Planet Wisp's sector and moved into position, blocking out the sun.

On the planet below, Wisps panicked when they saw the massive orb of doom looking down on them. The Mother Wisp wailed in horror, bracing herself for the upcoming terrors that awaited.

Upon the bridge of the Death Egg, the Eggman's robots activated the station's weapons and pressed the large bright-red button.

Without delay, the Death Egg's cannons fired off a large orange laser that struck Planet Wisp, drilling right into its core and vaporizing nearby Wisps.

In a matter of seconds, the alien world exploded and every Wisp on the planet died.

From the depths of his lair, Doctor Eggman observed the extinction of the Wisp species with a cold and heartless smile.

The villain cackled deviously, relishing in his hour of ultimate victory. Today was another glorious day to be a villain, the day that saw the annihilation of the Wisps...
