TLDR: I talk about my hiatus and the things that fucked me over that when I looked back, were caused by me. So yeah, excuses. That's all. Next chapter. ヽ(ー_ー )ノ

Heyo. Author here.

I was focusing on my youtube channel at the same time trying my best to update two stories at the same time while having a real job. Yeah it got kinda messy but I thought I could manage it. Packed my schedule to the brim with extraordinary enthusiasm. Hoping to keep the rhythm of posting every week at the same time making youtube videos and work a real job.

Yeah I fucked up big time.

A lesson to be learned. Commit to many projects, one hiccup would halt all projects.

So I took one month away from Youtube, writing and others. Trying to see how realistic I can be doing all my hobbies at the same time; realizing realistic targets.

So I started to focus on my writing. Focused on The Siren Truth with the motto; to make novel quality fanfics.

So it was Chapter 34 where I just stopped writing. The problem was that I have six chapters left to conclude the story because I don't want it to be too long. But how in the name of Almighty, was I supposed to wrap up the story at the same time expanding the Siren mythology, connecting the Borderlands 3 bitter story, concluding Axton and Alesia feud in six chapters?

It was a titanic task and I went to lengths, making drafts after draft, edit after edit trying to finish the story in six chapters. (To achieve 40 chapters.)

Then I just said to myself. Who gives a fuck about how long the story is?

From that point out, which was two weeks ago, I was writing like a madman. Finding a new rhythm by just writing on paper then transferred to my laptop.

Borderlands 3 was absolutely disappointing and affected the direction of the story. It made Maya, in my opinion, a boring character. She was attractive back in Borderlands 2 but came the sequel, it made her more boring and added more challenge in making the story more interesting.

So I started to replay Borderlands 2, playing Maya, trying to understand her character. And lo and behold, inspiration came rapidly to my head. I fell in love with Borderlands yet again. Honestly, I got a few things added to the mix and the mythos about the Eridian and Siren etc. Disregarding some parts of the Borderlands 3 story. I think I'm quite set.

The target would be completing the story by end of October and I cannot wait to write some more and edit some more but quality must be up to the usual, can't lower the standard.

On to Draft 41.

To the followers, I love you all with all my heart and may God bless you with a wonderful life. (ω)
