Back at Michael Knight's Cabin

The Tow truck that was carrying Kitt drove up the long paved driveway and a cabin came into view. Michael got out and opened the huge garage door as he slid it up and turned around as he directed the tow truck to back up. Once the flatbed of the truck was at the entrance, Michael held up a hand indicating to stop as Billy stopped the truck and got out. The two people watched as KI3T carrying Sara and Michael drove up and parked beside the truck.

Michael helped Billy drag the tarp off of the crumpled car, "M...Michael are we….home?" Kitt's disoriented voice was heard and the sound just broke Michael's heart. "Yeah buddy. We're home. I'm gonna get you fixed up okay?" he said as he ran a hand over the fender before helping Billy slowly and carefully roll kitt off the flatbed and get him settled in the garage.

The team walked into the garage and was stunned. Lined up along the back wall was the technology from the old semi along with the computers around in the garage as wires and cables littered the ground where Kitt was at. They watched as Michael started connecting the cables and wires inside Kitt's cab, outside of Kitt under the hood and under Kitt.

He groaned as he sat up from connecting a cable from underneath and saw the team were standing around as he stood up. "Look guys, I wanna thank you for bringing him back, but it might take a while. So you might as well go back to the SCC." He suggested as the team nodded and started heading towards KI3T as Billy got in the tow truck. Sara approached Michael and held her hand out, "It was an honor meeting you Mr. Knight." she said as he shook her hand, "You too." he replied as they let go.

"You know, I knew your father." he said, making Sara stop and look at him stunned and confused, "He was a great man. He would be proud of the person you became. I'm sorry for your loss." he said as Sara smiled and nodded in appreciation.

"Thank You! And good Luck Mr. Knight, I hope Kitt will be okay." Sara commented as Michael nodded, "Thanks." he said as Sara made her way towards the car.

"Mike?" Michael called out as his son opened the door and turned to see his father giving him a thumbs up, "Be careful huh?" he said with a smile as Mike nodded and gave him a thumbs up as he and Sara got into the Knight Three-Thousand and left the cabin.

Michael sighed as he went to one of the computers to run a diagnostic test on all of Kitt's systems. "Alright pal, let's get started on fixing you up huh?" he suggested as he took out Kitt's schematics to go over what needed to be fixed.

Four Months Later

"How are you doing buddy?" Michael asked as he rolled out from under Kitt and stood up, "I'm feeling good Michael." Kitt replied as Michael smiled as patted the roof, "That's good Kitt. That's really good." April said as Michael walked around the front of the car and opened the door as he sat in his seat.

"Anything you need me to check before we take you out for a test drive?" Bonnie asked while she watched Michael get down under the dash and wielded some circuits together. "I'm good to go Bonnie." he replied as Michael sat up and got out as April got the wand and ran it over Kitts system.

After the incident with Goliath, Michael called up Bonnie and April to help out with Kitt, the two ladies were surprised to see Kitt in good condition after all these years as Kitt told them how Michael saved him and repaired him himself. For the past four month's Bonnie and April have taken time out of their lives to help Michael rebuild Kitt. Bonnie was happily married with a single child named: Mikey after Michael himself. She had a few grey hairs on the edges of her hair along with a wrinkle or two, but to Michael, she's still beautiful as the day they met. As for April she had a few strands of grey coming out but the redhead was still pretty as ever who was also happily married and had two kids who called Michael: Uncle Mike.

"Well, it's getting late, I have to get back to the kids." April said as she grabbed her purses and walked up to Michael who pulled her in for a hug, "Goodbye April, tell the kids Hi for me." he said as they pulled away, April kissed Michael on the cheek, "Stay in touch mm?" she said as Michael nodded, "Yeah." he replied and watched as April hugged Bonnie before making her way towards her car.

Michael turned to where Bonnie was sitting on the bench but got down,"You have to go too?" he asked as Bonnie nodded, "Yeah, have to get back to Brad." she said as they hugged, "It was good seeing you Michael." Bonnie said as she pulled away. Michael nodded, "You too Bonnie. Thanks for helping with Kitt" he said as he kissed her on the cheek before watching her walk towards her car.

Once Bonnie was gone Michael turned to look at Kitt, "Well buddy, guess it's just me and you." he said as he disconnected the cables and wires that were connected to Kitt and placed them on the tech before Michael closed Kitt's hood and got inside the car.

"Are you ready for the test drive buddy?" he asked as Kitt started up the car. "Ready Michael." he replied as Michael shifted the gear in reverse and backed out of the garage.

Five Hours Later

It was a peaceful night at the cabin, Michael came back from taking Kitt out on his test drive and was satisfied that everything was working and functional. Right now he was asleep after taking a nice hot shpwer and it was around 1:00AM. Just then his phone rang making him groan as he tried to go back to sleep. His phone rang again making Michael sigh as he sat up and answered the phone, "Ello?" he asked as he yawned.

"Mr. Knight, It's Sara Graimen." said the voice on the phone as Michael was now wide awake as he turned on his bedside lamps. "Sara? It's 1AM." he said as he looked at the clock to see it was indeed 1AM.

He heard a sigh on the other line, "It's about Mike." she said making Michael stop in his tracks. "What about him Sara?" feeling this pit of worry for his son. "He was sent out on a mission and never came back." She replied and that was enough for him to hang up and went to his closet, picked out back pants, blue shirt along with his leather jacket.

After getting dressed along with his boots he ran out of the house and into the garage where he opened the garage door before making his way towards Kitt, "Wake up buddy." he said as Kitt's scanner came alive, "What's going on Michael?" he asked knowing something happened if his driver was acting this way.

"It's Mike." he replied as he got in, started up the car and took off down the road. Kitt made sure to close the garage door and lock the house. Did you know that Kitt controls the house as well?

Michael takes a deep breath, "Guess now is the best time to try out your SPM." he said as the square console opened and Michael pressed the green button, soon Kit was transformed and Michael was slammed back as the speed suddenly increased a lot. "Alright buddy!" he said with a smile as he looked to see they were at 312 miles per hour.

SCC-Headquarters

"Sara, I'm detecting a car coming in at speeds off the scale." Zoe said as Sara ran to the computer as Billy brought up the camera and saw Kitt. "It's Mr. Knight." she said as she opened the big bay doors and soon the Two-thousand sped into the garage area and stopped.

The SCC team watched as Kitt returned back to normal as Michael got out as the big doors closed, "What happened to Mike!" he worried about his son as Sara nodded and began to tell him about the mission.
