After what had seemed like an eternity, the Winx had finally done it.

Tritannus's quest for power had come to an end and the oceans of the magic dimension were at peace once more - and what better way to celebrate than with a Winx Club concert

Fairies, mermaids, specialists and rulers would soon gather from across the magic dimension to the planet where it had all begun - Andros. Amongst the invited was Princess Daphne of Domino, who had only just regained her corporeal form a short while ago. Of course, Daphne knew that the reintegration into corporeal life would not be a walk in the park, but she had not anticipated just how infuriating it would actually be.

Motor skills almost seemed like a foreign concept to the Princess. She was out of practice, afterall. Floating through her cave in Lake Roccaluce as a bodiless spirit was not exactly the same thing. This, however, was only half of the problem. As miraculous as it was to be able to return to her normal life, readjusting to it was a whole other matter. Daphne was acutely aware that - aside from life on Domino, for the most part - the universe had developed and flourished without her. Twenty years had passed since that fateful day when the Ancestral witches had attacked her. Twenty precious years that had been ripped away from her.

Her non-Dominonian acquaintances were decades older than when she had last seen them. In official records and documentation, she had been deceased since the Great Battle of Domino. But what really hurt the most, was that her baby sister was, biologically, now older than her.

It was a constant reminder of the time that she had lost out on with her favourite person.

Despite having only been able to communicate with Bloom through dreams and such, the sisters had formed a strong and unbreakable bond. Yet, this did not make it easier for Daphne every time she was reminded that she had missed out on the first 20 years of Bloom's life. It pained her to consider that maybe, she did not really know her sister as well as she would have liked by now.

As petty as she realised it made her seem, Daphne was jealous of closeness between Bloom and the Winx. They were more like Sisters to Bloom compared to herself.

And Bloom was in love.

Deeply and madly in love - and Daphne had not been given the chance to see Bloom experience the process. She had not been there to do Bloom's make-up for her first date, nor had she been the person Bloom had confided in when she had realised that the intense and overwhelming myriad of emotions she was experiencing was love.

Not that Daphne had been corporeal long enough to experience that, either.

All of this was the least of Daphne's worries, although she did not know it yet. For when Daphne steps foot on Andros, her very presence will throw out the balance of the magic dimension once again.

A long-dormant power will be reawakened. A perilous, unpredictable and potentially unforgiving power - when in the wrong hands.

Fortunately, it is not who will obtain this magic that the magic dimension needs to fear. Rather, it is them who it must be used against…

A/N: Hi guys! Thank you so much for reading the prologue of this fic - it's a project I am really jazzed about so it means a lot. However, I am not having much luck in finding a beta reader.

Therefore, if anyone would be willing to beta for me, please do send me a message and feel free to ask any further questions about the fic.

Also, polite reminder to go check out Myles Erlick's music - trust me, it's worth it - and to leave a review. :) Stay safe and have a nice day!
