Jaytee X [Spinoff]: Severe Stormy Problems
Author's POV
It was late afternoon in Mobius, at a workshop in Mystic Ruins, Jaytee the Ninja was watching a Sonic & Among Us crossover movie (K+ version) with Tails, Livvy, Amy and Sonic.
"Wow, nice movie!" Livvy commented when the movie ended.
"Totally!" Tails agreed.
"The Impostor and Sonic finally reached an agreement!" Sonic said, mimicking the narrator. The hedgehog and the ninja high-fived, acting as if they were in the movie (they are watching their movie counterparts).
"I should make dinner," Amy announced, "it's almost 6 pm."
"Yes, we should—AAAAAAH!" Tails started, but the power suddenly went out.
"AAAAAAAAHH!" Livvy screamed, hugging her boyfriend.
"Oh great, someone sabotaged the lights again!" Jaytee grumbled, shaking his head.
He looked up at the opened roof window and saw a bunch of black clouds.
"I suspect a storm is coming and that God is trying to play impostor and beat me," Jaytee said.
Suddenly, a bolt of lightning sneaked through the open window and violently zapped the ninja.
"AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH" the victim yelped. The hedgehogs cringed at the sight of it. Livvy jumped into Tails' arms in fright as they both screamed. Jaytee shakily showed a thumbs-up sign.
Sonic dashed to the communications room to get the radio. After returning into the living room, he tuned in the radio to 182 News.
"182 Weather reporting here, we will have a very violent thunderstorm lasting for about 6 hours, due to a heavy volume and mass of the thunderhead clouds, while also seeing that they are scattered, covering up an enormous area. It—"
The radio lost connection to the news. Sonic tried to tune in the radio to another station, but all he heard was static. He sighed, turning it off.
Jaytee, who finally found his voice, said,
"I think God is angry at me for making fun of him," he sighed, closing all the windows and every blind he can find.
Meanwhile, Tails wrapped his namesakes protectively around Livvy, who was very scared.
"Oh no, not again!" Tails said, feeling very scared as well.
Livvy felt sorry for her boyfriend and frightened at the same time.
Suddenly, lightning flashed brightly, followed suit by a loud clap of thunder that shook the workshop!
The two foxes screamed, running away from Jaytee, Sonic and Amy. They hid in a closet, hugging each other tightly and crying.
"Tails, Livvy, wait!" Amy called out, but to no avail.
The ninja and the hedgehogs could hear the foxes screaming and sobbing wildly as a louder clap of thunder was heard.
Jaytee looked at the hedgehogs and said,
"I'm gonna try to restore the power,"
The hedgehog couple nodded. So, the ninja teleported into the electrical room, where there were many control panels, fuse boxes, switches, wires, all that stuff. He was zapped many times due to the sudden surge of electrical energy coming from the wires.
Tails' POV
I was shivering uncontrollably, as another clap of thunder shook the workshop. Every time I heard a thunderclap, it was always stronger and louder than the previous. Looking at my lover, who was in the same state as me, always made me think that we are pretty much twins.
Livvy was sobbing uncontrollably into my chest. She was really jumpy upon hearing the news. I only discovered her biggest fear yet, today.
After a few minutes, I haven't heard a thunderclap. I decided to comfort my girl.
"Shh... It's okay, Liv. As long as we have each other, it will be okay..." I soothed.
CRASH BOOM!
"AAAH!" Livvy and I screamed.
Suddenly, I arched an eyebrow in confusion.
"Hey, that didn't sound like thunder!" I remarked.
"Argh, SHOOT!" a raspy voice yelled, making Livvy sigh in relief.
"Phew, it was only Jaytee crashing into something," I said, sweating. "I think he is trying to restore the power."
BOOOOOM!
We both started crying again. I wrapped myself and Livvy with my namesakes because it was starting to get colder. It did calm us down a bit. Most importantly, I wanted to make sure the love of my life is happy, which will then make me content.
Livvy's POV
I would've been feeling worse if I was alone in the house while the storm is raging. But, Tails is here. I feel safer when he is with me. I love him so much, he is kind and smart, not to mention we have so many things in common—we are almost like twins!
Another thunderclap made me hug Tails tightly and bawl my eyes out.
Tails cried as well, saying,
"I-I'm h-here, e-everything i-i-is going to b-be al-alright, Livvy,"
I wanted to say something, but my actions spoke for me. I didn't want to think at the moment.
I kissed Tails full on the mouth. Tails' eyes widened, but soon gave in and we both deepened the kiss. I wanted this moment to last forever. I wanted to forget the storm.
Suddenly, we heard footsteps. Sonic wrenched open the door with an anxious face. He smiled in relief, saying,
"I'm glad you guys are okay,"
"What a relief!" Amy added, following Sonic.
Another thunderclap made us dive straight into Sonic and Amy, crying our eyes out.
"Aw, poor Tails and Livvy," Amy said, in a mother-like tone.
"Don't worry, Sonic's here." Sonic comforted us in a father-like tone.
Author's POV
After many crying sessions and comforting sessions that the ninja heard, he had reset all the circuit breakers, fixed the wiring, calibrated every distributor, flipped the diversion switches and solved the light combination. All the lights turned on. He smiled, though exhausted, from all the "trial and error" procedures that got him electric-shocked countless times. Jaytee also rushed to the communications area to download and upload the data. He also reconnected the wifi.
Meanwhile, the four mobians saw the lights come back to life. They all cheered as Sonic said,
"Great job, Jaytee!"
Jaytee teleported to where the hedgehogs and foxes were located. He smiled, seeing that the foxes are happier. Amy hugged the exhausted ninja as Sonic slapped his back.
It has been an hour and the storm has still not ceased. Jaytee started to feel strange. But like a ninja, he was very good at maintaining his composure unless he decides to open up. But, he took the feeling as if it was a personal thing.
The foxes are asleep after crying for so long. Sonic, Amy and Jaytee took the couple to bed (yep, they are sleeping together!). After that, the three went back down. Amy decided to make dinner for the gang, Sonic was itching to go on a run but can't due to his aquaphobia, and Jaytee decided to go outside, having an idea of what may be going on.
Jaytee's disturbing vision and feeling caused him to look at the darkest cloud. Without warning, he threw a metal hammer high into the black cloud.
Suddenly, he heard someone scream in pain and fall onto the ground. It was a black-suited person with a maroon headband. He has red eyes (visor).
Jaytee growled.
"Dark Jaytee!" the good ninja said, fumed.
"It's been a while, my impostor friend," Dark Jaytee sneered.
"Yeah, it's been a while since you've shown up and tried to prove you are stronger than me..." Jaytee retorted with a smirk, "...when you are a noob."
"ENOUGH!" Dark Jaytee said. "COME AT ME!" "
Bring it on," yelled the good impostor confidently.
Both started to fight. It was an intensive fight. Dark Jaytee was gaining the upper hand, beating up Jaytee. But this ended when Jaytee suddenly immobilized his dark counterpart by electrocuting him.
"So, I guess it was you who zapped me, eh?" asked Jaytee, smirking.
"Argh," the dark impostor replied, in which the good ninja took it as a yes.
"Even though I did feel the pain, I absorbed it," the good ninja explained, "so, get ready to have a taste of your own medicine!"
Jaytee blasted his enemy by shooting a laser that contained the rest of his electrical energy left inside him with his cyborg form. It was very effective! Dark Jaytee exploded into a puff of smoke that soon disappeared. A puddle of water suddenly moved around to form the sentence:
Dark Jaytee was The Bad Impostor.
Soon, all the clouds cleared up. The sun came back out, along with a pretty rainbow that made all the non-mobians come out of their shelter and admire the view.
Meanwhile, the two foxes woke up, seeing that the storm has ceased. They were both happy that they were able to make it past the storm. They did not know the exact reason why the storm stopped until Sonic and Amy told them that it was Jaytee.
While the ninja was fighting his dark counterpart, the hedgehog couple was spectating the fight from inside. They were both relieved that the foxes were asleep before the fight happened because this was when the storm broke its severity record.
It wasn't long until Jaytee entered the workshop, telling them what happened. All his friends hugged him tightly, telling the hero to publish what happened from the start to the end of the storm.
