Chapter 1
"Loki! Slow down, will you?" You said running after him. "You better keep upa" Loki yelled back at you. You put your hands out and he was in a purple mist not able to run anywhere. "Hey! I told you to keep up, not to stop me!" He yelled with a huge smile on his face. With a wave of his hands you see a green mist around him canceling out your magic. He falls on the ground and you come running up to him. "That's what you get from running from me." Loki smirks, he grabs your hand. "Come on." You start running with loki up to the library. "Here I found this book. I just started reading it." He hands you a book about spells. "We can learn magic together. Wouldn't that be wonderful?" You open up the book and you see shape-shifting. "Lets learn this one!" You said with excitement in your voice. You and Loki went and sat down on the couch reading.
3 hours go by.
"Well, I finally find you guys." You turned around to see Fregga behind you with a warm smile. "What are you two reading?" You handed Fregga the book. "Ah, I remember this book. This is what I read when I was about your age." She said walking around the couch and sat down next to you. "Where on the 9 realms did you find this?" "It was behind a couple of books. I thought it would be interesting for us to learn." Loki said shily. "Well you guys be careful. Y/N your mother is looking for you. It's time for your training." Fregga said while standing up. "Yes my queen." You stood up giving Loki a hug. "We can spend some more time tomorrow." Loki said letting go of you. You start heading to your mothers house. "Y/n, have you forgotten your training?" Hela said. "I'm sorry mother. Loki and I were learning a new spell. We were so excited."
You and Hela were walking to the training grounds to start your training. Hela is teaching you how to levitate. It takes you longer to learn how to do magic as you are a Valkyre. Hela is your adoptive mother, she is a Frost Giant but is now living on Asgard. A couple of years ago, she went and killed all Valkyrie, except for you. You were just an infant and somehow survived the attack. She thought you were special, so she took you back to Asgard. You nor her never knew who your real parents were. You are very grateful that she took you and trained you to be strong, even though you were a Valkyre.
You arrived at the training grounds. "Ok Y/N, let's concentrate on how to levitate. Remember your breathing." You stand there with your eyes closed, imagining yourself floating. Then you feel your feet off the ground. "Well done! Open your eyes Y/N." You open your eyes and look down, you see that you are off the ground. You forgot to concentrate and fall and land on your back. "It's ok, that was your fist time levitating. Just remember to concentrate when you open your eyes." Hela says. You and Hela keep practicing on your levitation til the sun goes down. "Y/N. You did wonderful." "Thank you mom. I can't wait to show Loki, do you think he will be jealous?" You said with a giggle. Hela laughs "He might."
You both went home and had dinner then went to bed. "Y/N. You are doing wonderful with your magic. Just always remember to use it for good. I know my past was not a good example and I was still young and didn't know the world but I have learned my mistakes. I don't want you to follow my path. Ok?" "Yes mother, I promise that I will use my magic for good." You said with a sleepy voice. Hela kisses your head and tucks you in. "Have sweet dreams. I love you so very much." "I love you too mom, goodnight." And with that you are out like a light.
You woke to someone knocking on the front door. "My gods who is knocking at this time." You said getting out of bed. You walked up to the door and you see loki. "Oh! I'm sorry did I wake you?" Nervousness in his tone. "No, no, it's fine. Come on in." Loki walks into your home. "Make yourself comfortable, I'm gonna go get changed. I'll be right back." Loki heads to the couch while you head back to your room to get ready. 'I can't wait til I show Loki my new skill.' You thought to yourself.
You finally got ready and went to the living room to where you see Loki sitting on the couch reading the spell book. He looks back at you with a huge smile on his face. "Are you ready?" He said. Before you can answer he got up from the couch and started to head over to you. "Yea of course!" You said holding out your hand towards loki. He grabs your hand and you both head out the door. When you both walk around Asgard holding hands you always get looks from everyone else. Your holding the prince hand. Everyone thought it was just young love and that it would blow over soon. They were dead wrong.
"Let us head up to the training field, so we can practice shape-shifting." He said eagerly, pulling you along. "Of course! I have something to show you once we get there." You said trying to keep up with Loki. He comes to a complete stop and turns around to you. "Oh really? I thought that I would be the first to learn something amazing." You stick your tongue out at him and then you both start running to the field.
"Come on then, show me what you got." He says with his arms crossed his chest, waiting impatiently. You stand in front of him and close your eyes. You remember your training with Hela and you started to levitate. You open your eye and Loki is in shock. "Oh wow. Can you show me that?" He says with excitement. "Of course." You start teaching loki on how to levitate. 3 hours went by and he is able to levitate. "I can't believe that you learned that so quick! It took me 2 months just to finally get my feet off the ground." "You do have to remember that I'm a full blooded God and you are only half God. So it will take you longer to learn these thing." He comes closer and sits right next you and puts his hand on your. "But don't you worry. I won't leave you behind. I will help you every step of the way." He said with a grin of reinsurance. "You promise?" You said feeling worried. "I promise. Now come on, I want to learn how to shape-shift, don't you?" You stood up "of course".
