Babs was talking with her girlfriends at lunch. "And did you like see that new movie? 'Lovely Girl'?" Shirley asked as the girls nodded. "Oui! It was amazing! The way he kissed her in zhe end was so romantic." Fifi replied as her tail wagged. Babs giggled and ate a bit of her carrots. "It was wonderful. And when all those fireflies flew around them when they kissed?"

"I know right?" The girls laughed as Babs's ears flicked up and heard a familiar voice. "Hello ladies." The girls saw Plucky who walked up to their table and smirked. They rolled their eyes in disgust. "What does zhe ducky want now?" Fifi asked as Plucky looked at Shirley. "To ask you out of course."

"Not in your life." Shirley responded as Babs blew a raspberry at him. "Oh really mature. You chubby rabbit." Plucky mumbled the last part but Babs was able to hear it. Babs growled and kicked Plucky's leg. "OUCH!" He exclaimed while getting up. "Geez Babs you're so angry. I'm just telling the truth." Plucky replied as Babs got up from the table and ran off. "Babz wait!" Fifi called out but Babs ignored her.

Shirley glared at Plucky. "You're like so mean!"

"It's not my fault she's fat." Shirley kicked Plucky's butt causing him to land on the wall. "Come on Fifi, let's find Babs."

3 days later

Shirley and Fifi talked to Babs and asked her if she was okay. Babs only said yes but they could tell that she was lying. Babs was slow and less energetic. She kept missing assignments and was less funny than she was before. Buster started to get worried so he asked Fifi and Shirley if she was okay. Shirley turned her back while Fifi pointed at Plucky.

When Buster heard what Plucky said, he whacked him with a mallet. Unfortunately, Elmer Fudd sent him to the office to see Bugs (again).

"Care to explain why you're in my office again?" Bugs asked with his arms crossed. Buster gulped and sighed. "It's about Babs." Buster replied as Bugs listened to his story. "I talked to Fifi and Shirley and they told me that Plucky said some harsh things to her. Which is why I hit him."

"Ah the classic love affect. You wanted to protect her?" Bugs asked as Buster nodded. "Sorry."

"Yeah yeah I know. I'll give you a warning this time. But if you ever try another stunt again I'll have to suspend you for 3 days. Understand?" Buster nodded rapidly. "Yes sir!"

"Good. Now do you know where Babs is now?" Bugs asked as Buster thought about it. "I didn't see her today. I think she's still at her house."

"Alright. Thanks for telling me. Now head off to class." Buster saluted and paced out the door. Bugs chuckled and looked at the phone numbers of Babs's parents. He decided to call her mother first. "….hello miss Bunny…this is Bugs Bunny….yes the Bugs Bunny. Listen, I'm asking about Babs Bunny, did she come to school today?….hmmm I see. Is it alright if I come over? I mean if you don't that's okay with me but….that's great. I'll come over after school…thank you…goodbye." Bugs hung up the phone and sighed. "Alright Babs, you've got some explaining to do."

After school, Bugs hopped over to Babs's hole and knocked a little. "Is it Bugs?"

"Yes it's me Mrs. Bunny." Bugs responded. "Come in." She replied back as Bugs hopped into the hole. Once Bugs made it inside, he was greeted by a bunch of other tiny little rabbits. "OH MY GOSH IT'S HIM!"

"HE'S SO TALL!"

"CAN YOU SAY THE THING!"

"SAY THE THING! SAY THE THING!" The bunnies hopped around and talked as Bugs chuckled at the little ones' immaturity. "Kids! Calm down!" Their mother said as Bugs put his hands up. "No no no it's okay. I'll say it." Bugs replied as he got out his carrot and leaned on a nightstand. "Eh, what's up doc?" The bunnies squealed and started hugging Bugs's legs making him almost fall over. "Woah woah woah okay okay calm down you guys." Bugs tried to say as the mother growled at her kids. "UPSTAIRS NOW!" She yelled as the bunnies quickly ran upstairs.

Bugs sighed into relief. "Sorry about them." Bugs snickered. "It's alright, I get fans all the time."

"Babs is in her room over there." Mrs. Bunny replied pointing to the end of the hall. "Thank you Mrs. Bunny." Bugs responded walking over to Babs's room as Babs's mother went upstairs with the kids.

Bugs pressed his ear against the door as he heard Babs's laughing. "Yeah I just told them I was sick or something….listen I just don't wanna go. Not after what Plucky said to me….yeah yeah I know…I'll come back in a week or so…yeah talk to you later Fifi. Ciao!" Babs kissed the phone and hung up. At that moment, Bugs walked into the room, causing Babs to yelp and hide under the covers.

Bugs rolled his eyes. "Skipping school aren't we?" He asked, sitting on the bed. Babs groaned and shifted more into the covers. "Leave me alone." She simply said as Bugs lifted the covers. "You know what happens next." Babs turned to face him. She really doesn't know what happens next. Babs shrugged. "I'm gonna….tickle you."

Babs squeaked and zoomed off the bed. "Oh no you don't!" Bugs quickly grabbed her by her sides. "You aren't going anywhere. Not until you tell me why you didn't show up for school the last 3 days." Babs gulped a bit and looked away. "It's nothing."

"Whoops, strike one." Bugs drilled his fingers into Babs's neck. Babs squeaked and giggled. "Each lie you tell me I tickle you. Now start coughing up the truth." Babs pouted and sighed. "Well…I was sick for a few days."

"Not buying it." Bugs instantly tickled her tummy. Babs started to wave her arms and legs around laughing like a maniac. "Woah you're really ticklish here. Aw listen to that little giggle. Tickle tickle tickle." Bugs said as Babs blushed while still laughing. Bugs held his tickling as Babs regained her breath. "Last chance Babs." Bugs wiggled his fingers to imitate the poor bunny. Babs yelped and covered her tummy. "Okay okay I'll talk."

"I'm listening." Babs regained her breathing. "Well after what Plucky said to me, I felt a little…um…" Babs rubbed her cheek, unable to say the word. "Insecure?" Bugs replied as Babs nodded. "Well…I think I have a cure for your insecurity." Bugs replied as Babs raised her eyebrow. "I proscribed a dose of-" he didn't finish because he was already blowing raspberries in Babs's neck. Babs squealed trying to push Bugs's head away from her neck. "And almost eat plenty of-" Bugs blew a raspberry in her belly this time. Babs laughed as she tried to wiggle out of her mentor's grasp but it was useless because Bugs was much stronger than her.

Babs managed to jump down from Bugs's hold. "Runaway patient! Runaway patient!" Bugs called out as Babs couldn't help but snicker at him. Babs decided to hide in one of the kitchen cabinets. Babs kept her breathing shallow. "Just stay quiet Babs."

"I heard some laughing from downstairs." Babs's mother came down to check on them. "Is everything alright?" she asked with concern. Babs sighed in relief. Good. Her mom will help her with her crazy principal. "Oh I apologize for the commotion. Me and Babs were simply having a tickle fight." Babs blushed. Did he really just say that out of the blue!? Babs's mother laughed softly. "Oh I remember those days. If you wanna find her, the first place to look is the kitchen. She always hides in there."

WHAT IN THE ACTUAL CARROTS!?

"Thank you so much. Again, I apologize for the noise."

"Oh don't worry about it. Just try to make sure she doesn't laugh to death, okay?"

"You got it!" With that, Babs heard her mother leave. She gulped. "After all these years she leaves me!?" she whispered silently but that was enough for Bugs to know where she is. Bugs smirked and grabbed a carrot. "Oh Babs. If you come out I'll give you this carrot~" Babs covered her mouth to keep from squeaking. Her tail wagged a little in intimidation while one of her feet started to make a rhythm noise.

Unfortunately, Bugs heard it too and looked to the right. He saw a bit of Bab's purple skirt and smirked. "There you are." Bugs walked over to the see through purple skirt and yanked open the kitchen cabinet. Babs squeaked and had no time to get away from her mentor when Bugs grabbed her. "Your mother is very helpful in situations like this." Bugs smirked as Babs gulped and felt spider tickles all over her tummy. "EHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE BUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUHUGS HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"

"Now where was I? Oh yes. Make sure you also drink lots of-" Bugs cut himself off again as he grabbed Babs's feet and dangled her upside down so he could tickle her feet. "Look at these big feet you got there. And those cute little toes. I'm gonna kiss them so much." And Bugs did just that. Babs squealed and wiggled around to at least get some opening for her to escape. "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HELP HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Babs cried as Bugs chuckled. "And who exactly is going to help you little one?" Bugs asked her, still smirking up a storm. Babs only continued to laugh in his trap.

Soon, the laughter turned silent telling Bugs that it was time to stop his attack. Setting the pink bunny on the ground, Bugs bent down to her level. "You okay sweetie?" Babs took a minute to catch her breath until she knew she was okay. She nodded. "Yes… I'm fine."

"Good cause skipping school for 3 days and pretending to be sick is not gonna be good for your record." Babs's color turned white after hearing that and got on her knees. "No sir please! I beg of you. I'm innocent, I swear." Bugs secretly loved her acting skills in theaters, but in real life, he won't fall for that. "Nice try Babs. Now here's the deal. You're gonna serve in detention with Buster-"

"Buster, what did he do?" Babs asked, interrupting her teacher. Bugs rolled his eyes and continued. "Just for a week starting tomorrow."

"What? But Plucky-! He-!" Babs started to say but Bugs put his hand up to stop her. "Don't worry, Plucky's gonna have a bigger punishment than you and Buster combined. You and Buster will be with Elmer Fudd for detention. While Plucky has me for 2 weeks. Unless you wanna switch."

Babs froze. Bugs was both hers and Buster's mentor, but when they get in trouble, he is a real monster. If you get detention with someone other than Bugs Bunny, it would be a blessing. So consider yourself lucky.

Babs shook her head rapidly. "N-No sir. Elmer Fudd is just fine."

"Good. And Babs,"

"Yes."

"Don't mind what other people say about you. We know we all love you just the way you are." Bugs replied to her as Babs smiled at him. "Thanks, teacher. That means a lot."

The next day after school, Bugs kept his word. Both Buster and Babs sat in detention next to each other. In detention, they usually get a pop quiz on what they've remembered but today, Elmer Fudd was tired so he trusted that the bunnies would stay quiet. And it turns out, they did.

Buster stretched a bit and leaned his ankles on his desk. "So Babs, how are you doing?" he asked as Babs smiled at him. "Better than a couple of days ago even though we're in detention." Babs replied as Buster smiled back. "Lemme guess, did Bugs tickle you?" Babs shouted her head up at him. "Yeah. How'd you know?"

"Your face is completely red." Babs felt her face and realized that it was burning hot. She didn't even notice. "Huh. So why are you in detention, Buster?"

"I punched Plucky."

"You should've gotten a medal." Babs replied, making them both laugh. Unfortunately that laughter caused Elmer to wake up. "Hey there you rabbits. Be very quiet. I'm trying to sleep." He said as he fell back asleep in his chair.

The two rabbits looked at each other and snicker silently. "I wonder how Plucky is doing."

"Well knowing our mentor, and we do, I don't think I wanna know."
