Henry Potter took a deep breath and rubbed his forehead as he leaned back in his chair. He pushed aside another batch of paperwork.
"Fuck this shit." He curses and yawns loudly. Paperwork was a good way to put someone to sleep, Henry thinks to himself as he stands up.
Henry stands up and walks around his study, stretching his legs and easing the tension in his shoulders.
"I heard you stir."
Someone knocks on the door and Henry's father, Alexander Potter, enters the room and smiles at his grumpy looking son.
"I hated paperwork too, maybe get an early retirement." Alexander says, a twinkle in his eyes.
"I love my job as an Auror, I'll stay where I am." Henry says firmly.
Alexander rolls his eyes fondly. "Just like your mother." He says fondly. "Peggy didn't like paperwork either- always left that part to me!" He huffs, but there's a smile on his face. "But I'd gladly do hundreds of thousands pieces of paperwork to see your mother again." The smile disappears and Henry grows pale- mainly because he hasn't seen sunshine in ages.
"It's her anniversary tomorrow." Henry says.
"I know." Alexander said, and he looks sad. "I'll go out to get flowers for her later."
"I'll do it." Henry said. "I don't want to see paperwork for a long time, believe me."
"Off with you then." Alexander says and he practically shoves Henry out of his own study.
"Charming." Henry mutters sarcastically, but going down the stairs quickly enough. He wants to get some fresh air, and he waves to his wife Charlotte in the living room.
Henry walks out of the Manor's large doors and shuts the door behind him. He tried to remember the best places to find flowers from when he was a little boy.
There's one spot, far away from where Henry is walking, and he nods as he makes his decision. His mother loved daisies and there's lovely daisies growing over there. He decides to go get a few of them.
Henry starts on his walk, breathing in the fresh air and feeling the sunshine on his face.
"This is brilliant." Henry breathed in, putting his hands in his pockets.
Fresh air was just what Henry needed and wanted at that time, his headache slowly fading away due to the clear air clearing his mind.
Henry bent down and picked a couple of daisies up from the ground.
He didn't expect what happened next.
Some sort of creature had flown out at him and attacked him! Henry was knocked to the ground and his glasses were smashed to pieces.
Henry's vision was blurred so he really couldn't see what was going on, but he was definitely being attacked. The creature had done him severe damage, Henry could feel the pain.
"Please... stop..." Henry muttered as his vision blurred. He spat and could taste blood splattering his hands.
"HELP!" Henry screamed at the top of his lungs, using the last of his energy as the creature sank it's teeth into Henry's arm, making him scream.
"HELP, help me, please." Henry mumbled as the creature vanished from sight.
Henry moved his head and winced as pain shot through his head. So much for no headache.
His hands were thorn and bleeding, probably would leave a couple of scars. Both his right and left hands were soaked in blood, and Henry knew it was his.
"Harry! HARRY!"
"Dad..." Henry gasped out as Alexander kneeled beside him. "Creature... fucking attacked me."
Henry groaned in pain as Alexander cupped Henry's face in his hands.
"It hurts Dad, it... really does." Henry slurred.
"I know it does darling, but you have to stay strong, okay? Please- No, Harry, keep your eyes open, come on!" Alexander said as Henry's eyes flickered.
"But... I wanna go see Mum... I... can see her." Henry breathed, and his eyes were nearly closed.
"No, Harry, no! You have to stay awake, HELP, OVER HERE!" Alexander shouted to the St Mungo's professionals that were over by the front door. "HURRY UP, I CAN'T KEEP HIM AWAKE MUCH LONGER!"
"Do... I have to stay awake?" Henry said, drawing in oxygen like it was precious gold.
"Yes, it's very important to do that." Alexander breathed out.
This had to be happening, didn't it? The day before Peggy's anniversary. Henry was bleeding out slowly in Alexander's arms, but Alexander had put some basic Healing Charms on him, and hoped they would hold up.
Henry may be a grown man now, but he would always be Alexander's baby.
"Even though you're a man, you'll always be my baby." Alexander said softly, giving Henry a gentle kiss on his forehead and squeezing his hand tightly.
And with that, Henry Potter passes out in his father's arms, seeing his father's soft and caring face.
"We can take him now Mr Potter." One Healer said , conjuring up a stretcher. "If you could lift him up onto it."
Alexander lifted Henry's limp and floppy body onto the leather stretcher, feeling Henry's blood soak his arms as he lay his baby on the stretcher, feeling better that Henry was in good hands now.
"Look after him." Alexander says to a older Healer.
"I'll do the best I can." She says, and Alexander believes her.
"Potter!"
Alexander sits up in his chair, seeing a elderly Healer looking at him.
"What... um, yes?"
The Healer sighs.
"It's not pretty, about your son. He's alive, stabilized, but he'll feel like crap when he's awake."
"What's his injuries?"
The Healer hands a copy of Henry's medical report over to Alexander and Alexander could feel his heart break.
Henry Alexander Potter.

Alexander noticed the Healer was staring at him with pitying eyes.
"I want to see him please." Alexander said.
"Room 32."
Alexander nods and gives the report back to her - and noticing the board that tells directions, he heads towards the second floor.
Alexander reaches Room 32 and in there he can see Henry, who is laying unconscious in his bed, and several Muggle tubes and wires are attached to his chest and arms, and a oxygen mask over his mouth was helping him breath.
"Harry!" Alexander gasped, walking into the room and collapsing into a chair.
Alexander gazed at Henry's face, wiping the tears that were slowly splattering his cheeks.
Hours later, after Charlotte and others had been to visit, Alexander was still at Henry's bedside.
"Come on... Wake up, wake up for Dad." Alexander mumbled to Henry.
Alexander took hold of Henry's right hand and brushed it with his lips.
Henry squeezed his father's hand.
"Dad..."' He slurs and then his eyelids flickered.
"Harry... Harry!" Alexander shouted, tears brimming in his eyes.
Henry opened his eyes, and he is smiling his beautiful smile.
"Hey Dad." He says weakly.
"Harry." Alexander gasped and hugs Henry tightly.
Alexander's body is shaking because he is crying and Henry is crying too, because crying is infectious as well as laughter.
"I thought you were gone." Alexander gasped as he and Henry break apart from the hug.
"Not that easy to get rid of me!" Henry says happily and he winced in pain.
"I'm fine, I really am." Henry said, smiling still but Alexander can see the pain in his eyes.
"You're not, look at yourself." Alexander says and Henry nods, yawning loudly.
"You can sleep now, I'll be here." Alexander says, stroking Henry's hair. Henry yawned loudly, and closed his eyes.
"Hmm." Henry mumbles, his words slurring together.
Henry didn't want to sleep, he was afraid that he would die- but his father's calm and caring face made him feel sleepy and warm.
Soon enough, Henry was fast asleep, lured to sleep by his father stroking his hair, his body aching enough for him to send Henry into unconsciousness.
Henry woke up, so warm and cozy he wanted to stay like that forever. Needless to say, he hated the fact that someone was muttering at the edge of his bedside.
"WOO!"
Henry's eyes snapped open.
"What the-"
"I'M GONNA BE A GRANDPA!"
What?!
