Author's Note: The story is an improved version of the old one with the same title. This is an old story that I wrote for FimFiction years ago, so I decided to fix the mistakes in it. However, I wrote this in a new format to make it more readable as a experiment.

It was just another day in the kingdom of Equestria as it was sunny, bright, and it was blooming, so with it came a plethora of flowers. The clouds were floating high in the sky as the sun's rays were shining upon Ponyville that was decorated with hearts and flowers. However, the main event that excited nearly everypony was the fact is Hearts and Hooves Day the day when ponies or any other creature show their affection for another.
Some ponies were outside of their homes working hard while some of them were shopping as Equestria was at peace. Currently inside of one of the rooms of the Castle of Friendship a purple dragon under the name, Spike was standing in front of the mirror examining his reflection while fixing his tie, getting ready for something. Then, Princess Twilight Sparkle walked into the room saw her number one assistant, Spike fixing his ties in front of the mirror.
Twilight Sparkle - "Where are you going, Spike?"
Twilight asked while she watched her number one assistant, Spike fixing his ties in front of the mirror who then looked at her before he replied as he couldn't stop smiling.
Spike The Dragon - "I'm going to see, Rarity, and after I give Rarity these flowers, she'll finally understand how I feel about her."
Spike casually said while smiling before he grabbed the bouquet of flowers he have on the cabinet beside him. Then Twilight sighed silently as her face dropped alongside her wings which leaved Spike confused about Twilight's reaction.
Twilight Sparkle - "Oh, Spike... When are you going to give up?"
Spike The Dragon - "Oh… I see... You still think that I don't have a chance with her."
Twilight Sparkle - " I know you don't have a chance with her."
Twilight said as she make a unamused expression, and Spike narrowed his eyes at Twilight. Spike doesn't like anyone to criticize his feelings for Rarity feelings that he has dor Rarity ever since he move to Ponyville.
Spike The Dragon - "What do you know?!"
Twilight said as she looks at Spike with a concert expression on her face as she knows that what she has to say will end hurting him. Spike was looking at her as his eyes narrowed at Twilight Sparkle.
Twilight Sparkle - "Spike, you're only fifteen years old! Rarity is too old for you. She is 25 years old. There is no way Rarity would date you. You are only a baby dragon."
Spike The Dragon - "It's only 11 years between us! It doesn't means she is too old to be my mother!"
Spike said nervously while trying to sound genuine, but he knows Twilight was speaking the truth. Twilight continues speaking knowing full well that it will hurt her young adopted brother's feelings.
Twilight Sparkle - "Spike, you have to understand. There is no way Rarity would date you! You are just a baby dragon. For Celestia's sake, she could be in trouble for dating somepony too young for her."
Spike felt his heart began to sink, but he shakes those feelings and narrows his eyes at Twilight as he refuses to believe what Twilight just told him, so he is determined to prove Twilight wrong.
Spike The Dragon - "I'll show you! I'll prove you wrong! One day, I will marry her and we will be happy! You'll see!"
As Twilight watched Spike leaving the castle, she was left perplexed by his stubbornness. Twilight knows that Spike is angry, but she knows that the best way for him to know the truth is through Rarity.
