Dart's P.O.V

I sighed in irritation. My mother, Starlight wouldn't let me go out and explore the world. But my father, Toothless was completely fine with the idea. "Hay dad? Why won't mom let me go outside and explore?" I asked, looking up at my father's gentle and free-spirited emerald green eyes. My father sighed slowly and lowered his head to be eye-level with me.

"Your mother was never very trusting of humans. Even my dragon rider. Hiccup, had to gain her trust, and even that was a talon in itself to achieve." Toothless said, rolling his eyes at the memory. "Is it because i'm her only daughter? Is that it?" I questioned, looking up at my father with longing pale blue eyes. Toothless drew a long and tired sigh.

"I guess so... but I don't ask those kind of questions, Dart. Unlike you, my silly little adventurous dragonet. You remind me a lot of my human rider, you have his stubbornness, curiosity, inventive spirit and love for adventure, and your also really trusting." I smiled a toothless smile at that.

"So... can I go? Can I? Can I?" I asked, jumping up and down in excitement. My father nodded with a toothless grin. I squealed in excitement and gave my father a tight hug. "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" I cheered, and with that, I flew out of The Hidden World.

I struggled in the wind and the rain. It was hard to fly straight, muchness be able to see. "Oh, plasma fire! Why the heck does it have to rain?" I yelled in frustration, as I kept struggling to keep my up and flapping in the air, but the strong wind was making it very difficult.

I began spinning out of control in the air and I hit my head hard on a tree and the last thing I saw was a streak of sky blue and sea foam green scales, then everything went dark.

Leyla's P.O.V

"So... do you know what kind of dragon she is?" Summer asked as she watched me flip through the pages of my dragon diary. I sighed softly and shook my head, closing the book, I put it back into my purse and I bent down to get a closer look at the dragon. "Hmmm... she has the same shaped tail fin as Winger. Maybe she's a hybrid of some sort?" I muttered to myself as I studied the orca-spotted dragon's features. "She looks like she might be a member of the strike class." "You think so?" Dak wondered as he came to stand next to me and Summer. "Yup. But I could be wrong though." I told him. "So now what do we do?" Cutter spoke up from beside Burple. I sighed and looked down at the still unconscious dragon.

"How do we find out?" Aggro asked me. I frowned and turned to look at the fire dragon. "By her fire, speed, strength, or intelligence level." I explained to the others. "Wow! That's a lot to go by just for one dragon classification." Winger remarked with an amused laugh and a twitch of his tail. "First things first. She needs to get these injuries bandaged up and cleaned. Then she'll need to rest for a couple of hours." I said. "Alright Rescue Riders, let's head back to the roost." Winger said and we all made our way back to the roost, Summer carrying the orca-spotted dragoness gently clutched in her claws as we flew on.

Summer's P.O.V

As we were flying back to the roost, I noticed that Winger kept looking at the young dragon that was tucked safely in my paws. And when I looked over at him, I would see a hint of red on his face. Was he blushing? I frowned and studied Winger's movements more closely as we were approaching the roost. As we landed outside of the entrance to the sleep cave, I could feel someone watching me from behind. I shook my head at the thought as I kept a close eye on our new arrival. A hay nest was soon made for the dragon and with the help of Leyla and Aggro, we gently set her down into it. A small smile formed on her face and her ears slowly twitched at the sound of our voices. Could she hear us? Did she know what had happened to her? These thoughts kept racing through my mind like a raging tempest as I walked over to my own hey bed and laid down to take a short nap.

I awoke sometime later and the sound of laughing dragons filled the empty silence as I gave my wings and paws a good long stretch. I yawned and rubbed my eyes with my paws. I then patted out of the sleep cave and out into the morning light of the sun. I had forgotten that it had been nighttime when we had found that orca-spotted dragoness. I felt my tail twitching in response to my nervousness as I went over to sit beside Leyla, who was writing down notes in her diary. "Do you know what kind of dragon she is yet?" I asked her. Leyla looked up from what she was doing to look up at me with a small frown and a shake of her head. "Unfortunately not. I just can't think of any dragon that even comes close to what the dragon that we found looks like." She told me. I took a seat beside her in the grass and we just sat there in silence for quite some time. "Is there anything I can do to help?" I asked her. She sighed softly and shook her head. "Nope not this time, Sum. I'm sorry but maybe next time." I nodded and watched as Leyla closed the book and put it back inside her purse.

Winger's P.O.V

It was late at night and everyone was fast asleep. But I couldn't sleep, so I decided to check on the young female dragon that we had found earlier that day. As I sat there watching her, I couldn't help but stare in pure amazement. Her jet black scales glowed silver in the small ray of moonlight that was peaking through the crack in the wooden door. Her pure white underbelly shimmered like freshly falling snow, her tail was draped neatly over her white noes and her head was resting comfortably on her small paws. I watched with bated breath as her ears began twitching in her sleep, and after a few seconds, they stopped and her ears pricked straight up and her eyes slowly began to open. I could feel my face start to grow warm as a pair of bright blue eyes the color of ice stared directly into my neon yellow eyes.

I gulped nervously as I tried to find my voice. But the words got stuck in my throat. This dragon was the most beautiful dragon in the universe. "H-Hello. I'm Winger, what's your name?" I managed to squeak. The black and white dragon giggled softly and she smiled up at me with a toothless grin. I nearly jumped out of my own claws when she gave me a gummy smile with a goofy look on her face. "Hi to you too! The name's Dart. Nice to meet you, Winger." She said in a bubbly and cheerful tone of voice. "What kind of dragon are you, Winger?" Dart asked me. "Huh? Oh! I am a Swiftwing. And you are...?" I trailed off to let her answer the question. "I'm a Night Light, witch is a hybrid of a Night Fury and a Light Fury." She explained to me. My eyes went wide in shock and I motioned for Dart to follow me. I got up and opened the trap door above us. I saw my objective sitting on one of the stairs, the dragon diary. I walked up to it and opened it. I flipped through the pages, looking for anything about the Night Lights, Night Fury, or Light Fury. But there was nothing. Hmmm... I guess that goes to show you how rare these dragons are. I silently mused to myself as I looked back over at Dart, who was quietly exploring the room.
