Sokka sighed as he stared up at the sky, laying on Appa's back.

"How long are we gonna be up here?" He asked, "I'm bored. I want some action."

Toph, sitting on Appa's head, leaned back as she rolled her eyes, "We need to stay close to Katara so she can update us next time we stop at a town."

"Won't Appa need to rest though? How long can he fly?"

"I don't know. I never met a flying bison. You really expect me to know how to take care of one?"

Sokka sat up to look down at the Fire Nation ship they were following, "What do you think Katara's doing down there?"

"Her job. And that's all that matters." Toph replied as Momo came over to lay down next to her.

"Well, I hope we get to land soon." Sokka said as he laid back down, "I really want to know what all Katara is learning."

"Me too Snoozles. Trust me." Toph replied as she pet the flying lemur beside her, "Where's the nearest land?"

Sokka sat up and searched his bag for the map. He pulled it out and unrolled it on Appa's back.

"We left the Fire Nation and went East." Sokka studied the map as he thought carefully, "We could be heading to Ba Sing Se."

"Makes sense. They are trying to look for us and Ba Sing Se is the most heavily guarded place. They probably think we fled to hide there."

"But that trip will take days. Which means they'll need to stop to refuel. Not just the ship but them as well. They might also just feel like going for a fun time in a town or try to get minor members of the United Forces."

"I really don't think the Avatar would waste his time with the minors."

"But what about the others? I've heard Princess Azula is a bit crazy, she might torture them just for fun. And Kayara can't stop her or she'll blow her cover."

"Okay... so next time we land we'll send a warning to everyone in the United Forces to watch their backs."

Sokka nodded and rolled up the map, "We make a great team." He said with a smile.

"Yeah I know. That's why I made you and Katara my seconds in command."

Sokka put the map away and joined Toph on Appa's head, "Too bad we couldn't have just posed as servants on the ship or something."

Toph perked up, "Snoozles you're a genius!"

"I am? I mean... yeah duh, I'm a genius."

"At night we should sneak onto the ship and pose as servants. Why didn't you say anything earlier?"

"Because I didn't think of it."

"Doesn't matter, let's come up with a plan of how we're going to do this."

Katara sat back down on her bed after Mai left. She picked up the journal again and opened it. She could hardly put it down like it was an actual book. She just had to know what happened next.

The journey to the Southern Water Tribe was long, but it didn't seem like it thanks to Kuzon and Bumi. They really know how to have fun.

Our arrival the Southern Water Tribe seemed to come too quickly...

Appa landed on the white snow and the three boys jumped off, "So where's this Yura girl?" Bumi asked.

Aang shrugged, "I don't know. She always finds me first."

As soon as he said that, a snowball hit him on the side of his face. Kuzon and Bumi busted out laughing until they were hit with snowballs as well.

Then they heard a girl laughing. The boys turned to see a beautiful Water Tribe girl with long dark hair.

"You boys should see your faces!" She laughed

Aang brushed the remaining snow off his face before smirking and bending down to get a snowball. The girl's laughter was cut short when the snowball hit her in the face.

She wiped the snow off her face, "Nice shot Avatar." She said with a smirk.

"Guys this is Yura. My friend from the Water Tribe." Aang said to the other boys as she walked up to them, "We're because-"

"You want me to be your waterbending teacher." Yura finished.

Aang looked at her with a shocked expression, "How did you-"

"I just know, don't stress about it Aang. Anyways, I'm coming with. This place bores me anyways."

"I really like her. She seems fun and mischievous." Bumi whispered to Aang.

Aang chuckled, "Okay let's get going. I think the best place to go would be Kyoshi Island."

Bumi jump up onto Appa. Aang offered to help Yura up, but she refused and climbed up herself.

Kuzon stopped Aang before he got on Appa, "Are you sure about this? We've never had a girl in our group before."

"Don't worry Kuzon." Aang said, placing a hand on his shoulder, "Everything will be fine. She's pretty cool and is the best waterbender I know."

Kuzon sighed and nodded before getting on Appa. Aang got on himself and Team Avatar was off to Kyoshi Island.
