The Doctor stopped, a frown on his face as his hand slipped of the lever he had just been about to pull as a knock echoed through the console room.
He glanced to Donna, though the ginger shrugged her shoulders; just as lost as he was as to who could be knocking on the TARDIS doors.
Walking around the console, the Doctor headed towards the door and opened it, only to see Raven standing outside the door in the snow, her black coat-slash-wings billowing around her as she stared at an Ood a little further away.
"Raven?" he questioned, wondering what she was doing.
"Doc," the assassin glanced in his direction and took a step towards him, "I have a problem."
An eyebrow raised as the Doctor watched as the Ood took a step forwards as well.
"He won't stop following me!" Raven whispered harshly as she moved closer to the TARDIS – the Ood doing the same, though only moved when Raven did.
A snort escaped the Doctor before he could stop it. "Only you could get an Ood to follow you home," he remarked, however stepped to the side to allow the assassin entrance.
The moment the door closed behind the platinum blonde, she sagged against it in relief, her eyes closing.
An amused hum rang through the air, but Raven ignored it.
"What's up, Raven?" Donna asked, seeing an expression on the other woman's face that she hadn't seen before.
Opening her eyes, Raven let out a heavy breath.
"I have a shadow," she stated in a way that had Donna believing that the blonde was distressed by the mere idea. "Do you know how odd it is for an assassin to have a shadow they can't get rid of?"
"Have you asked him what he wants?" the Time Lord enquired, the grin on his face unable to be supressed.
Raven frowned at the man, her eyes narrowing before she suddenly turned on her heel and opened the TARDIS door and stuck her head out.
"What do you want?" she asked loudly, and Donna couldn't hold back her snort that time.
When the platinum blonde's head returned inside the ship, the Doctor raised an eyebrow at her confused expression.
"What did he say?"
"He said..." Raven frowned as she tried to process what the Ood had told her, "He said he wants to serve me."
She sounded perplexed, however before the Doctor or Donna could ask her anything else, the assassin stuck her head back outside and called out something else, though neither of the two inside could hear what she had said.
Raven pulled her head back inside a moment later and blinked in surprise.
"I need to go," she suddenly said.
"What did you ask him?" the Doctor asked, curious about her sudden change in behaviour.
A grin appeared on the assassin's lips as she replied, "I asked him how he felt about torture and unusual pets."
Donna blinked.
"What did he say?" the ginger asked, equally curious and doubly surprised.
Raven's grin twisted into a smirk.
"He said that bleach works best with blood, and that if you walk werewolf's the night before a full moon, they're less destructive," she told them.
It was the Doctor's time to blink in surprise. "Huh," he muttered.
"Yep," the assassin agreed before slipping out the door and into the snow.
Donna watched her leave before she glanced at the Doctor.
"She just hired an Ood, didn't she?" she asked.
The Doctor grinned as he moved back to the lever he had been about to pull before they had been interrupted.
"I believe he hired himself," he remarked as he pulled the lever and sent his ship back into the Time Vortex.
