Bucky's first instinct was to leave the kitchen, get away from everyone so he could digest this bombshell on his own. Catching Steve's eye, he managed to stay still.
"I'm thinking the Russians are behind this," Tony mused. "They're using Barnes as cover for one of their own in-house assassinations."
Steve muttered something foul under his breath.
"There's nothing we can do about that right now," Pepper said. "Hopefully, when Natasha gets back, she'll have something we can work with."
"You kiddin' me?" Clint grinned confidently and gave Bucky a friendly nudge. "Don't sweat it, man. Nat always comes through."
