Chapter 1: Fatima and Kensi

Fatima and Kensi were doing random workouts in rhe gym when Fatima sat down on the ground.
"You okay, kiddo? You need to stop?" Kensi asked worriedly.
"No. Yes. Maybe. I don't know," Fatima said quietly. She didn't appear to need medical help, so Kensi sat next to her.
"Hey. Talk to me," she said gently.
"How did you get the courage to propose to Deeks?" she finally asked. Kensi softened.
"I didn't think too much about it. I couldn't. We had just lost Michelle, Sam's wife. We took care of the bad guy, and I saw Deeks standing there, and I proposed with the ring from a flashbang," Kensi explained, putting her arm around Fatima. Fatima giggled.
"Yeah, I can see that," she said quietly.
"Is this about Rountree?" Kensi guessed.
"How'd you know?" she asked.
"You guys are constantly making googly eyes at each other. It's adorable. Listen, just go for it! For real. Just ask him out," she said.
"But what if he says no?" Fatima asked worriedly.
"Sweetie, he won't. I've seen the way he looks at you, he adores you. I'm honestly surprised he hasn't asked you out already," Kensi said gently. She remembered what it was like to question if Deeks truly had feelings for her or if it was just him teasing her.
"Will you help me?" she asked quietly.
"Sweetie, this is all you. I can maybe help you plan an outfit, and maybe what to say, but this is all you," Kensi replied.
