Hello. I should apologize for how long it's taken to get this chapter out. It took awhile because of stuff that includes me working on epic rwby among other stuff that kept me busy. Also I did get a bit of writer's block. And having to write this twice. But I hope you enjoy it.

"The Vytal Festival! Oh, this is absolutely wonderful!" Weiss said with amazement. Team RWBY and HHHC were walking around Vale taking in the decorations for the Vytal Festival. Team HHHC mainly came because they wanted to see Vale in its entirety.

"I don't think I've ever seen you smile this much, Weiss." Ruby said. "It's kinda weirding me out..."

"How could you not smile? A festival dedicated to the cultures of the world! There will be dances! Parades! A tournament! Oh, the amount of planning and organization that goes into this event is simply breathtaking!" Weiss said.

"You really know how to make a good thing and make it sound boring" Yang sighed.

"Quiet, you!" Weiss said.

"Remind me again why we're spending our Friday afternoon visiting the stupid docks?" Yang asked

"Ugh, they smell like fish," Ruby said, covering her nose.

"Oh, come on, it's not that bad," Chris said.

"I've heard that students visiting from Vacuo will be arriving by ship today. And, as a representative of beacon, I feel as though it is my solemn duty to welcome them to this fine Kingdom," Weiss said.

"I'm assuming that means you want to learn more about them so you can have an upper hand in the tournament." Sean said.

"You can't prove that!" Weiss scoffed. They then noticed a building with shattered glass and police tape. They walked over and asked what happened.

"Robbery. Second dust shop to be hit this week. This place is turning into a jungle." One of the detectives said.

"That's terrible," Yang sighed.

"They left all the money again," The other detective said. This got Ruby and Sean's attention.

"Yeah, it just doesn't make a lick of sense. Who needs that much dust?" The first Detective said.

"I don't know, an army," The second detective said.

"You thinking the White Fang?" The first detective said.

"Yeah, I'm thinking we don't get paid enough," The second detective said.

"Hmph! The White Fang." Weiss said, crossing her arms. "What an awful bunch of degenerates!"

"What's your problem?" Blake questioned.

"My Problem? I simply don't care for the criminally insane." Weiss said, turning to Blake.

"The White Fang is hardly a bunch of psychopaths." Blake stated. "They're a collection of misguided Faunus."

"Misguided? They want to wipe Humanity off the face of the planet!" Weiss said.

"So then they're very misguided. Either way, it doesn't explain why they would rob a dust shop in the middle of downtown Vale!" Blake said

"Blake's got a point. Besides, the police never caught that torchwick guy Sean and I ran into a few months ago... Maybe it was him." Ruby said

"That still doesn't change the fact that the White Fang are a bunch of scum." Weiss continued, causing Blake to get angrier. "Those Faunus only know how to lie, cheat, and steal."

"Hey now, let's not start a fight," Hailey said, trying to defuse the situation. It was then they heard someone yell "Stop that Faunus!" The two teams ran over and saw a faunus running out of a boat. This faunus had spiked blond hair, and dark-gray eyes. He was wearing red wrist bracers over black fingerless gloves, an open white loose-collar jacket, blue cargo pants, and white bandages on his legs. His faunus trait was a golden monkey tail. He jumped on to the edge of the boat and looked back at his pursuers.

"Thanks for the ride guys! Haha!" He said as he jumped onto the dock and ran.

"You no go stowaway!" One of the sailors said. Back with the faunus he was dangling from a lamppost peeling a banana

"Hey! A no-good stowaway would've been caught! I'm a great stowaway!" He said before one of the detectives threw a rock at him to get his attention.

"Hey! Get down here this instant!" The detective ordered. The faunus's response was to drop the banana peel on the detective's head causing him to growl. He laughed and then ran away passing Team RWBY, and HHHC. For Blake however it was like things were going in slow motion as he winked at her as he was being chased.

"Well, Weiss, you wanted to see the competition, and there it goes..." Yang said.

"Quick! We have to observe him!" Weiss said. And began to give chase with everyone else beside Blake also did so. At least until Chris stopped and looked back.

"You coming?" He asked. This got Blake back into reality and nodded to Chris giving chase as well. They followed the money faunus for a long while until they turned a corner and Weiss ran into someone allowing the faunus to get away.

"No, he got away!" Weiss yelled.

"Uhh… Weiss?" Yang said, pointing at the girl she knocked over. Weiss got startled and got up quickly.

"Sal-u-ta-tions!" The girl said, still on the ground.

"Um… hello," Ruby said.

"Are you… okay?" Sean asked.

"I'm wonderful! Thank you for asking." The girl said. Everyone looked at each other in mild bewilderment.

"Do you… need some help getting up?" Sean said. The girl thought for a moment before saying "no" and getting up.

"My name is Penny! It's a pleasure to meet you!" Penny said.

"Hi Penny. I'm Ruby." Ruby said.

"I'm Sean,"

"I'm Weiss"

"Name's Chris"

"Blake"

"I'm Dakota"

"I'm Hailey"

"Are you sure you didn't hit your head?" Yang asked, but Blake hit her in her side. "Oh, I'm Yang."

"It's a pleasure to meet you!" Penny said.

"You already said that," Weiss said.

"So I did!" Penny said, after pausing for a second.

"Well, sorry for running into you." Weiss said as they left. Ruby yelled out "take care, friend" and when Penny was out of ear shot they continued to talk.

"She was… weird," Yang said.

"Oh come on, she wasn't that weird." Sean said. "Trust me I know a lot more eccentric people than her."

"Anyway, where did that faunus riff-raff run off to" Weiss said before looking at Penny that somehow got in front of them.

"What did you call me?" Penny asked.

"Oh, I'm really sorry, I definitely didn't think you heard me!" Yang said apologetically.

"No, not you." Penny said as she walked through the group right to Ruby. "You!"

"Me? I-I don't know. I, what I, um, uh" Ruby said startled.

"You called me 'friend'! Am I really your friend?" Penny asked. Ruby looked over her shoulder to see everyone on her team motioning to deny her, Dakota looking at something else, Hailey and Sean giving her a thumbs up, and Chris on his scroll. Then Ruby came up with an answer.

"Y-yeah, sure! Why not?" Ruby said which caused Ruby's teammates to faint, but Penny was overjoyed.

"Sen-sational! We can paint our nails, and try on clothes, and talk about cute boys" Penny said.

"Is this what it was like when you met me?" Ruby asked Weiss.

"No - she seems far more coordinated," Weiss said.

"So... what are you doing in Vale?" Yang asked.

"I'm here to fight in the tournament." Penny said.

"Wait , you're fighting in the tournament?" Weiss asked.

"I'm combat ready!" Penny said while saluting.

"Forgive me, but you hardly look the part." Weiss said.

"Says the girl wearing a dress," Blake said.

"It's a combat skirt!" Weiss said. Ruby then sped up to Weiss and said "yeah!" while giving her a low-five.

"Wait a minute," Weiss said, as she walked over to Penny. "If you're for the tournament, does that mean you know that monkey-tailed... Rapscallion?"

"The who...?" Penny asked.

"The filthy Faunus from the boat!" Weiss said, pulling up a drawing of the Faunus. This display was of course making Blake angry.

"Why do you keep saying that?!" Blake practically yelled. This caused Weiss to look at her confused. "Stop calling him a rapscallion! Stop calling him a degenerate! He's a person!"

"Oh, I'm sorry." Weiss said. "Would you like me to stop referring to the trash can as a trash can? Or this lamppost as a lamppost?"

"Stop it!" Blake said.

"Stop what? He clearly broke the law. Give him time: he'll probably join up with those faunus in the White Fang!" Weiss said, which caused Blake to get even angrier. The others tried to step in but they weren't paying attention to them.

"You ignorant little brat!" Blake said, which offended Weiss. Blake tried to walk away but Weiss followed her.

"How dare you talk to me like that! I am your teammate!" Weiss yelled

"You are a judgemental little girl." Blake said.

"What in the world makes you say that?" Weiss questioned.

"The mere fact that you would sort that Faunus boy with a terrorist group solely based on his species makes you just as a scoundrel as you believe him to be!" Blake said. Meanwhile everyone was extremely uncomfortable which didn't stop when they made it back to Beacon as Blake and Weiss kept fighting all throughout the night. Later, Team HHHC were sleeping when someone knocked on their door, unfortunately only Chris woke up.

"I'm Coming!" Chris said, still groggy. He opened to see Ruby. "Hey, Ruby. What do you need?"

"Blake ran." Ruby said, which got Chris out of his grogginess. "We don't know where she is." Chris immediately grabbed his things and ran past Ruby.

"Where are you going?!" Ruby called out to Chris, but he didn't pay attention. Chris, despite some bad first impressions, did like Blake and could sympathize with her. The next day, the rest of team HHHC woke up to Chris being gone.

"Where's Chris?" Hailey said.

"I don't know," Sean said. Then they heard their door knocking. It was the rest of team RWBY. Later in the week, they were searching all around Vale for Blake and Chris.

"They've been gone all weekend..." Ruby said.

"Blake's a big girl, I'm sure she can handle herself!" Weiss said. "I'm also sure Chris can handle himself."

"Weiss, come on, they're our teammates." Yang said.

"I know Chris is a true Teammate, but is Blake really?" Weiss said. "We all know what she said!"

"Weiss." Ruby said.

"Maybe she is, maybe she isn't. Either way, she's missing and we need to find her!" Yang said

"Wait, what are you talking about?" Dakota asked.

"Blake's a member of the White Fang," Weiss said. Meanwhile Blake was with Chris and the Monkey Faunus at a cafe.

"So, you want to know more about me..." Blake said.

"Finally, she speaks! Nearly two days and you two have given nothing but small talk and weird looks!" Sun said with the other two giving him a firm look. "Yeah like that" Blake rolled her eyes before looking at Chris and Sun sadly.

"Sun, Chris… Are you familiar with the White Fang," Blake asked.

"Of course! I don't think there's a Faunus alive who hasn't heard of them. Stupid, holier-than-thou creeps that use force to get whatever they want. Bunch of freaks, if you ask me!" Sun said.

"I've heard of them on multiple occasions with most of the things being negative." Chris said.

"I was once a member of the White Fang," Blake said. This caused Sun to choke on his drink in shock. Chris was shocked as well but not to the extent of Sun.

Wait a minute, you were a member of the White Fang?!" Sun exclaimed.

"That's right, I was a member for most of my life, actually. You could say I was born into it" Blake said. "Back then, things were different. In the ashes of war, the White Fang was meant to be a symbol of peace and unity between humans and the faunus. Of course, despite being promised equality, the faunus were subjected to discrimination and hate. Humanity still thought of us as lesser beings. And so, the White Fang rose up as a voice of our people. And I was there. I was at the front of every rally. I took part in every boycott. I actually thought we were making a difference. But I was just a youthful optimist. Then, five years ago, our leader stepped down, and a new one took his place. A new leader with a new way of thinking. Suddenly, our peaceful protests are being replaced with organized attacks. We were setting fire to shops that refused to serve us, hijacking cargo from companies that used faunus labor. And the worst part was, it was working. We were being treated as equals. But not out of respect… out of fear. So I left. I decided I no longer wanted to use my skills to aid in their violence, and instead, I would dedicate my life to becoming a huntress. So here I am: a criminal in plain sight, all with the help of a little black bow."

"So… have you told your friends any of this?" Sun asked as Blake looked down in shame. Meanwhile, the others were looking for Chris and Blake, some were calling out their names while Weiss wasn't doing anything to help.

"Weiss, you're not helping!" Ruby said.

"Oh! You know what might be able to help? The police!" Weiss said.

"Weiss, that will only make things worse." Sean said.

"It was just an idea!" Weiss said.

"Yeah, a bad one," Ruby said.

"Weiss, I think we should hear her side of the story before we jump to any conclusions," Yang said.

"I think that when we hear it, you'll all realize I was right!" Weiss said.

"And I think Weiss' hair looks wonderful today!" Someone said behind them which made them jump. They then saw that it was Penny.

"Oh hey, Penny where did you come from?" Hailey asked.

"Hey guys! What are you up to?" Penny asked, completely ignoring Hailey's question.

"We're looking for our friends Blake and Chris," Yang's said.

"Ooh, you mean the Faunus girl!" Penny said, which caused everyone to stare at her.

"Wait, how do you know that?" Ruby asked.

"Uhh, the cat ears?" Penney said, pointing to her head.

"What cat ears? She wears a booooowwww…" Yang said slowly, realizing along with the rest of them.

"She does like tuna a lot…" ruby whispered.

"So, where are they?" Penny asked.

"We don't know. They've been missing since Friday." Hailey said this caused Penny to gasp.

"That's terrible!" Penny said, approaching them. "Well don't you worry, I won't rest until we find your teammates!"

"Uh, that's really nice of you Penny, but we're okay! Really! Right, guys?" Ruby said as she looked in the other's direction to see that Dakota, Weiss and Yang were gone leaving Hailey and Sean.

"It sure is windy today" Penny said. Meanwhile with Chris, Blake and Sun, they were walking down an alley talking about something.

"So, what's the plan now?" Sun asked.

"I still don't believe the white fang is behind these robberies. They've never needed that much dust before." Blake said.

"But what if they did?" Chris said.

"What?" Blake said.

"He's got a point," Sun said. "I mean… the only way to prove that they didn't do it, is to go to the place where they would most likely go if they were to do it, and not find them there! Right?

"The only thing is, I've no idea where that would be." Blake said.

"Well, while I was on the ship, I heard some guys talking about offloading a huge shipment of dust coming in from Atlas." Sun said

"How huge?" Blake asked.

"Huge. Big schnee company freighter" Sun said.

"You're sure?" Blake asked.

"Yep!" Sun said.

"Well, now that we know where to look, let's head to the docks," Chris said. With Yang, Weiss, and Dakota. After they left they continued their search by asking people with no luck.

"Weiss, do you care if we find the two or not?" Dakota asked.

"Don't be stupid: of course I do. I'm just afraid of what Blake will say when we find her." Weiss said as she walked away. "The innocent never run."

"So, Blake and Chris are your friends?" Penny asked.

"Yes, Penny," Ruby sighed.

"But you're mad at them?" Penny said.

"we're not mad at Chris, but Weiss seems to be mad at Blake," Sean said.

"Is she friends with Blake?" Penny said.

"Well, that's kind of up in the air right now…" Ruby said.

"But why?" Penny said, contemplating.

"Well, you see, Blake might not be the person we thought she was?" Ruby explained.

"Is she a man?" Penny said.

No! No, Penny, she's…" Ruby sighed. "I don't know what she is. She didn't exactly talk to us before she decided to run off"

"I don't have a lot of friends, but if I did, I would want them to talk to me about things." Penny said. Ruby looked down in sadness.

"Me too…" she said. Penny then turned her attention to Sean to ask him questions about Chris. Meanwhile, Chris and Blake were on a rooftop overlooking the shipment of Schnee Dust containers.

"Did I miss anything?" Sun said, as he appeared.

"Not really, they offloaded the crates to the boat. Now they're just sitting there." Blake said.

"Cool" Sun said, before tossing Chris an apple and handing one to Blake. "I stole you guys some food."

"Do you always break the law without giving a second thought?" Blake said, before Sun got defensive.

"Hey weren't you in a cult or something?" Sun countered. Blake then gave him an angry glare. "Okay too soon!" Just then the wind blows. They look up to see a bullhead looking around for a landing spot. They landed and saw the culprits. Blake immediately recognized the clothing, it was the white fang.

"Oh no…" Blake said.

"Is that them?" Sun asked.

"Yes… it's them." Blake said. They overheard them yelling at each other to get the tog cables on the containers.

"You really didn't think they were behind it, did you?" Sun asked.

"No. I think deep down I knew. I just didn't want to be right." Blake said. The group then heard two new voices which caught their attention. One was masculine the other feminine. They looked to see the roman torchwick and another person. This other person had red hair and eyes. What she was wearing was a black tattered cape along with some red armor. She also had a glowing scythe on her back.

Hey! What's the holdup?!" Roman said. "We're not exactly the most inconspicuous of thieves at the moment, so why don't you animals try to pick up the pace!"

"This isn't right. The white fang would never work with a human. Especially one like that," Blake said, as she stood up, took out her weapon and walked off the edge of the roof.

"Hey, what are you doing!?" The both of them said as they were concerned. Blake then hid behind a container and suddenly appeared behind Roman with her blade at his throat.

"Nobody move!" She commanded. This caused the white fang members and the woman to ready their weapons.

"Whoa! Take it easy there, little lady." Roman said As they all closed in on her this caused Blake to remove her bow revealing her ears.

"Brothers of the white fang! Why are you aiding this scum?" Blake said. Everyone besides the woman lowered their weapons as they were unsure of what to do.

"Oh kid didn't you get the memo?" Roman said.

"What are you talking about?" Blake questioned.

"The white fang and I are going on a joint business venture together!" Roman said.

"Tell me what it is or I'll put an end to your little operation." Blake said. Suddenly, more turbines are heard as they look up.

"I wouldn't exactly call it a little operation…" Roman said. A few more bullheads were hovering over causing Blake to look in horror, giving Roman enough time to shoot his cane at their feet causing an explosion which got the others attention. Blake, while dazed, began running from Roman's continuous attacks before she went behind some containers. Roman began approaching while taunting until a banana peel landed on his head. Sun then dropped down on Roman's face first and got himself ready to fight.

"Leave her alone!" Sun said. The bullhead then opened as several white fang members dropped down and surrounded Sun.

"You are not the brightest banana in the bunch are you, kid?" Roman said. The members were about to charge at him when Chris began shooting at them, knocking some of them down. Chris jumped down next to Sun, ready for a fight. They were able to take out the soldiers very easily with Sun even showing off his weapon. With Blake she watched Sun and Chris give the beat down on the soldiers until Roman fired at them which caused Blake to run over and block it. Chris was going to join in but was knocked back by the woman.

"You must be one of those spirit bearers," she said, which shocked Chris.

"How do you know that?" Chris questioned. "And who are you?"

"Was told by my master," Odyessa said. "Also I'm Odyessa, you're demise." Odyessa slashed at Chris, but he dodged and slammed his mace into her. When she was knocked back Chris shot her multiple times until she disappeared and slashed at him which he blocked. Odyessa proceeded to throw her scythe which Chris barely dodged. He then charged at Odyessa, but she stopped that by summoning her scythe again and slashing Chris which knocked him back. However, the ground underneath Odyessa suddenly exploded making her fly into the air. Back with Blake and sun, Roman was about to shoot a container hanging by a crane when…

"Hey!" Someone yelled out which got everyone's attention. It was Ruby, Sean, Hailey, and Penny and everyone besides Penny was ready for a fight.

"Well hello, Red and Blue," Roman said. "Say red isn't it past your bedtime?" Sean and Odessya then noticed each other with Odessya growling and Sean not being shocked.

"Ruby, Sean, Hailey, are these people your friends?" Penny asked.

"Penny, stay back!" Ruby said. While she was distracted Roman tried to fire at her with her cane, but Hailey noticed and pushed her out of the way, taking the hit instead.

"Hailey!" Sean said with worry, while Penny gave them a glare and started walking forward.

"Penny, wait, stop!" Ruby said in a futile attempt to stop her.

"Don't worry Ruby. I'm combat ready!" Penny said. her backpack opened revealing many swords which were hovering behind her. She then jumped down using the swords as wings and when she landed she knocked a few of the soldiers to the ground. Penny then shot one of her swords at a soldier charging at her, impaled another one to a wall, and threw a wheel made out of her swords and knocked multiple of the Soldiers off their feet.

"Whoa," Sun said in amazement before running to safety. Chirs was in extreme amounts of shock viewing this whole thing, so much so that he didn't notice Odessya about to swing her scythe until Sean blocked her attack and knocked her back.

"Need some help?" Sean asked.

"Yeah, actually," Chris said. They both charged at Odessya which caused her to disappear and reappear behind Chris.

"Chris, look out!" Sean said, noticing Odessya. However, a blade-like claw stopped the scythe from touching Chris. The creature this claw belonged to was a tall bipedal raptor-like creature, and with Chris he was glowing an eerie red color. The raptor-like creature then slashed at Odessya's chest making her cry out in pain.

"Damn Monsters!" She growled. She was about to attack again when she saw Penny take down several of the Bullheads and heard Roman yell that they needed to go. She sighed and looked at Sean before saying "don't think this is over Hart. You and your friends will be defeated by the Syndicate!" Before disappearing. Later, the crew were sitting in silence while police cars were around them when Weiss, Dakota, and Yang showed up.

"Look Weiss, it's not what you think, she explained the whole thing. See, she doesn't actually have a bow, she has cat ears and they're actually kind of cute…" Ruby explained, but Weiss ignored her and went straight to Blake.

"Weiss, I want you to know that I'm no longer associated with White Fang. Back when I was with the-" Blake was cut off by Weiss.

"Stop! Do you have any idea of how long we've been searching for you?" Weiss asked. "Twelve hours. That means I've had twelve hours to think about this. And in that twelve hours, I've decided..." the other looked at Weiss in worry. "I dont care."

"You don't care?" Blake asked, surprised.

"You said you're not a part of them any more, right?" Weiss asked.

"No, I-I havent been since i was younger-" Blake was cut off again by Weiss.

"I don't want to hear it. All I want to know is that next time something this big comes up... you'll come to your teammates and not some..." weiss stopped herself while looking at sun "someone else"

"Of course." Blake said after wiping a tear away and nodding. Weiss smiled and ruby screamed "Yeah team RWBY and HHHC are back together again!" Team RWBY and Sun gathered up while Team HHHC was discussing something. More specifically Chirs asked Sean why Odessya called him Hart

"I may have an answer to that." Sean said.

"And what is that?" Chris asked.

"I'll explain soon, but now I think it's time we tell them about earth." Sean said. They went over to team RWBY and Sun to meet them at their dorm and to bring team JNPR. They were confused by this but they agreed. Meanwhile Roman and Odessya were entering a warehouse when they heard.

"How very disappointing, you two." someone said. They turned around and saw Cinder fall and her minions, Emerald Sustrai, and Mercury Black however there were more with her. Suddenly, a Harpy with black wings flies right past and perches on a container.

What happened, Odessya? I thought you were the best besides the Antiheart." The Harpy said, mocking her.

"Can it, Cassidy! If it wasn't for the Spirit bearers and their friends we would have succeeded." Odessya said.

"Be as it may, Antiheart still won't be pleased with you" a Werewolf with pitch black fur said.

"I know Besolin" Odessya said. Just then a figure stepped out of the darkness. This figure looked very similar to Sean but was older, had grey skin, red eyes, and black hair. This figure also had some armor with a chestplate and a jeweled gauntlet. It was the Antiheart.

"May I ask how you failed Odessya?" Antiheart asked.

"Well, the spirit bearers and their friends stopped us," Odessya said. "What's worse however is that one of them is a Hart.

"A Hart?" Antiheart said. "That could spell trouble."

"Do tell," Cinder said.

"The Harts are a family of great power," Antiheart said. "I was created as a weapon to kill them."

"Interesting," Cinder said before turning her attention back to Roman. "We expected a little... more from you Roman"

"Hey! Your the ones who suggesting joining up with those stupid mutts the White Fang." Roman said.

"And you will continue to do so," Cinder said. She formed a fireball in her hand and walked up to Roman. "We have big plans for you, Roman. All we ask is... A little cooperation."

The Villains are finally getting introduced. A little note is that I made them a little weaker here then when they are going to show up in society stories so I could give the heroes a chance.
