So I just finished AOT and let's just say I fell in love with the show and all the amazing characters! I'm so late watching it but it's okay I'm glad I started it! Anyways this is an armin fanfic because he's baby and I love him so much.

Also this story takes place around season 3 so yeah...

Armin Arlert would have been lying if he had said that he wasn't afraid of going outside the walls without Eren or Mikasa by his side.

Sure he and the other Troops that had been sent out on this mission had been trained to fight humans and Titans, but that still didn't help Armin settle his raging nerves. Of course it was Eren and Mikasa who had reassured Armin that everything would be alright and that he would make it back home just fine.

Still, as much as Eren didn't want Armin to go outside the walls by himself, he also couldn't help but feel a little bit of pride seeing as this was Armin's first mission alone as Commander since Erwin's death.

"Armin, it's time to go ." Hange said, resting her hand on his shoulder.

Feeling anxious again Armin turns back to his friends.

"We'll be right here waiting for you to get back." Mikasa said, giving him a smile.

"That means come back alive alright, Armin!"

Nodding, He gives his friends one final smile before joining the others by the horses.

'I'll see you guys soon."

It had taken two 15 meter Titans to wipe out his entire squad in a matter of seconds, leaving only Armin who had hidden in a nearby tree trunk when the Titans weren't looking. And to make matters worse his horse (which had been trained to deal with Titans) had run off leaving Armin stranded in the middle of nowhere.

'This is really where I'm going to die, huh?' Armin thought to himself as the Titans (who's full attention was now on the blonde hiding in the tree) surrounded him.

I'm so sorry Eren.

I'm sorry Mikasa.

'I guess I'm not going to make it home after all."

"Hey ,How about you leave him alone you stupid Titans!" A female voice called out before releasing her ODM gear on the Titan and slicing its nape without any problem.

"Echo! What did we say about attacking alone!" Another female voice called out, obviously annoyed with the other girl's recklessness.

"You know I just can't help myself when it comes to killing Titans!" Echo or at least that was what the other girl called her shouted landing on a nearby tree.

"Until you get yourself killed." A male voice called out from the trees.

"What makes you think I'm going to get myself killed, Axton?!"

"Oh I don't know you are a suicidal manic with no self control."

"Hey kid, you alright." Another male voice called out from the opening of the trunk startling Armin. "My names Arrow by the way."

Deciding that it was safe to come out now, Armin gets out from his hiding place to come face to face with a boy with green eyes and black hair that was pulled back into a messy bun.

"I'm Armin Arlert."

"Hold on.. did you say Arlert?" A girl who looked very similar to Armin question.

"Yeah?"

"My name is Miya Arlert."

Blue eyes widened as she steps closer to Armin.

"M-my parents got killed by the military police back when I was a baby after they tried to leave the wall in a hot air balloon."

Armin pauses for a moment, trying to catch up with everything she just told him.

He had a sister?

Since when did he have a sister?

He had known his mother had been pregnant when they had attempted to leave the wall but he had thought she had died along with his parents.

Come to think of it, nobody had ever talked about his mother's pregnancy even his grandfather when he was alive.

"H-how if you were on the balloon when they got shot?"

"Mr.Müller stepped in when they were deciding what to do with me. He took me as a newborn and raised me ever since."

"How do you know all this?"

"Mr Müller and a couple of military police told me." The girl smiles sadly as she pulls her brother into a tight embrace.

His sister was alive.

She was alive and standing in front of him.

"As touching as this reunion is- we really should be getting back before Mr.Müller puts us on cleaning duty for a month." Arrow spoke his green eyes on the now setting sun.

"Armin, you're coming home with us too!" Miya shouted, pulling her newly found brother onto his feet.

"We can't just leave you out here, now can we?" A boy with dark brown hair said. "Oh by the way I'm Axton."

Armin looked at the four of them deciding if he should go with them, it was getting dark, plus his horse was still missing and Armin had no idea where he was.

Agreeing to follow them, he listens to the soft bickering from the group, mainly from Echo and Miya as they rode the horses back to wherever it is they were going .

They had reminded him a lot of his friends back home.

'I miss Eren. I hope he's okay.'

"Mr.müller we're back and we brought company!" Echo shouted out, earning a glare from Arrow and Axton.

"What gives you the right to walk in here and scream like that?" A voice called out causing the four of them to straighten up just as an older man appears in the doorway.

"Sorry sir, I got too excited. I apologize!"

"Oh don't be so uptight, I'm only joking!" He laughs patting the girl's hair. "You said you brought company? Is this him?"

"Yes sir, this is my brother Armin Arlert. We saved him from a Titan attack by the wall."

"It's nice to meet you Armin, I'm Emil Müller but you can just call me Mr.Müller."

"It's a pleasure to meet you sir." Armin bows, only to earn a laugh from Emil.

"So Armin, What brings you out here?"

"I was on a mission with my comrades when a Titan came and wiped them out in a matter of seconds. luckily there was an opening in one of the trees or else I wouldn't be here now."

"It sounds like you went through a lot. Arrow, Axton, why don't you show Armin to the boys rooms while the girls start dinner then Join us back down here when you're all settled in."

"Yes sir!" They all said in sync before going their separate ways, the boys going upstairs and the girls headed into the kitchen to Begin Cooking dinner.

Looking around the house as they walked, Armin couldn't help but feel out of place here. Sure HQ was big but this place had to be much bigger than HQ and the mess hall put together .

His mind wandered back to his friends back at home.

Had they realized that he was missing?

Do they have a search party looking for him?

If he had known anything about Eren and Mikasa it was that they would throw a fit until the captain got irritated with them and gave in to their commands.

"This is the boys' side of the house, we all share a room but don't worry it's big enough for all of us."

"We had more people but- they got wiped out by the Titans." Arrow said his green eyes locked to one of the beds.

"Our friend Fritz dies saving Miya. He got eaten." Axton continued a dark look in his eyes. "I'll make them pay for ever laying a hand on Fritz!"

"It was my fault Fritz got killed. if I had just done a better job protecting myself than Frit would still be alive." Miya said, her voice small and tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Miya, come on, we already told you to stop blaming yourself. Fritz Sacrificed himself to keep us safe even if it meant his death." Arrow stated his eyes still locked on the bed.

"I-I'm sorry. Just- watching him get eaten by that Titan-"

"It's hard to forget, my best friend got eaten by a Titan trying to save me. He survived thankfully but the memory of that day still lives in my head." Armin said, resting a shaky hand on his sister's shoulder letting her know that everything was going to be alright.

"Thank you armin." She smiles as he wipes away her tears.

They all follow the blond girl downstairs, Armin not leaving his sister's side once as they all sat down at the table.

The rest of the night had been filled with laughter and stories of life back home with Eren and Mikasa.

Armin was happy, happy to be reunited with his sister.

To meet the amazing people who had taken in Miya when everyone else thought she was dead.

He was happy even if it was just for the moment.
