numb.. that's how Ashes felt as he was with Reggie and Albi as they discussed their next step to their plan. Albi and Reggie noticed that Ashes wasn't paying attention.

Hey Eddie, everything okay? says Reggie trying to figure out what's going on with him.

yes man, I'm fine. Is it alright if I take off, I need some air. says ashes

go ahead Eddie, we'll see you tomorrow. says Albi

within the few minutes ashes left the gym and started walking to his car. As he walked into his car, he texted Olivia.

el: hey liv, can I come over?

liv: yes, let me know when you've arrived.

Elliot looked at the message and started driving to Olivia's apartment. As he drove, he thought about how this undercover assignment has affected him mentally and emotionally. He was so tired of trying to live a double life.. all he wanted was for this undercover assignment to be over.

He didn't realized when he arrived to liv's apartment. He pulled out his phone and texted liv that he has arrived. Elliot got out of his car and walked into liv's apartment and knocked on her door.

The door opened to a Olivia in a ponytail, wearing a blue pijama set and wearing her reading glasses.

Hey el, is everything okay? says liv worried

Elliot didn't hear what she said. He stood there looking at her, his Olivia. The person who brighten up his world, the woman that make his world so much better. She looked beautiful, he already knew that, but seeing Olivia Benson in pijamas, glasses and a ponytail was something different, she looked adorable. maybe adorable wasn't the word, but no matter what Olivia was wearing, she looked beautiful.

"el! did you hear what I said?" says liv as she touches his hands. he realized that she was touching him; that was something new. yes he has touched her cheeks a couple weeks ago, but it was still new.

"yes I am, sorry I was thinking, what did you say?"

Olivia didn't say anything and just pulled Elliot into a hug and he put his head on her shoulder. Olivia knew that something was bothering Elliot, but she didn't want to push him. She knew that this undercover assignment was messing with Elliot mind and affecting him.

They hugged each other for a while until liv said "come on el, lets go sit down on the couch." Olivia closed the door as Elliot walked toward the couch and sat down. Olivia went to get a glass of water for Elliot and walked over to Elliot.

She knew that something happened.. she knew the minute she saw Elliot at her door.. it's a funny thing how even after 10 years of not seeing each other, they spoke with their eyes.

They looked at each other and she wanted to say something but Elliot got closer and pulled her into a hug.

"I needed to see you, I know it's late and I know that your son is sleeping but I didn't know where else to go liv. I think I should go." says Elliot as he pulled away from liv and started getting up.

Olivia touched his hands and told him "el you don't have to leave. I know you need me, I know that this undercover assignment has been so difficult for you but I want to be here for you el. Let me be here for you please."

"Liv I don't want to invade your space, it's already late I should go."

Olivia didn't say anything and got closer to Elliot and told him "let me be here for you el."

Even though Elliot didn't speak, he leaned towards Olivia and hugged her tightly. Tears were rolling down his face. She knew that Elliot was the kind of person who doesn't show his feelings. She stepped back and wiped Elliot's tears away.

For them being this close and intimate was still new. They have only hugged a few times while they worked together, but this was different. They weren't Benson and Stabler, they were Olivia and Elliot.

"el is everything okay?" and nods "no" and tells her "I want out already, this is too much, I can't do this anymore." Olivia looked at him and said "el I know you want out, you're almost done, I can feel it."

Elliot knew that he was almost done with the assignment but he wanted to leave it now. He was so tired and he wanted to go back to what it used to be. He wanted to spend time with his kids, spend time with his mom, spend time with Olivia and Noah. He wanted to be able to go home and sleep in his own bed. This undercover assignment has taken over him.

"Elliot I know that you want out, I understand you, but you have to do this for your team. they are counting on you." liv says as she touched his cheeks.

Elliot looked at her and says "you always know what to say." Olivia looked at him and she smiled. "I know you elliot, even after 10 years, I still know you." Liv says. Elliot smiled because he knew what she meant. Olivia knew everything about him and he knew everything about her.

Elliot found it ironic because he never believed in 'soulmates' but after that night when he confessed to Olivia "in a parallel universe it will always be you and I " everything changed. maybe he didn't believe in soulmates but he did believe that him and Olivia had the chance to be together.

They didn't speak for a while, Olivia laid her head on his chest as he played with her ponytail. It was quiet but that didn't bother them, for them the quiet and peace was something they loved because they were together. Olivia looked up at Elliot and says "are you okay now?" Elliot tells her "yes, thank you for being here for me."

" I will always be here for you, I promise." Olivia said as she kissed his neck.

Elliot was a bit surprised because it was the first time Olivia kissed his neck. He looked at her and kissed her temple.

"Liv?"

"Yes el?

"You look beautiful tonight" and that comment made Olivia blush.

"El.."

"I'm serious, especially seeing you wearing a ponytail is pretty hot."

"Oh really?" Liv looked at him with a smirk.

"Yes and I think you should wear a ponytail more often."

Olivia blushed as he kissed her on the lips. He looked at her as he felt her snuggle up to him. He hugged her tightly and they drifted off to sleep.
