How to Make Friends With Babies

Summary: Midoriya explains to his friends how he made friends with Mei Hatsume. It involves babies and explosives. Part of Midoriya Izuku in Class 1-B series

Ochanko noticed Midoriya and Shoda standing in the middle of the hallway beside the door leading to Support.

"I must ask you to move! You are getting in the way of other students!" Tenya shouted as he chopped the air. Tenya moved to pass the pair before Midoriya grabbed his shirt and pulled him back.

BOOM!

The door from Support blew open and pieces of the door landed on the floor.

"Uhh…."

"Mei is still working on her babies. Give her a minute," Midoriya said with a nod.

"More like five minutes…we timed her," Shoda said as he looked down at his phone.

Tenya's eyes stared at the smoke.

What in the world….

She felt her heart pounding in her chest as she pressed against the wall.

"Maybe…we should warn Tsu and Todoroki since they are still in training," She said as her eyes glued on the continuous smoke from the classroom.

"As their friend and fellow classmate, I agree with this sentiment," Tenya said with a slight panic to his voice. After the smoke cleared, there was a large metal object in the middle of the walkway. She really couldn't tell what it was…

"I text Todoroki," Midoriya said as he took out his phone.

"I would wait a few more minutes," Shoda added.

"Yes…she hasn't started laughing yet."

"And Mr. Power Load hasn't screamed yet either."

She jumped from the walls when they started to shake.

"Maybe, we should do a group text to warn everyone." She said nervously.

"That…maybe a really good idea," Tenya said as he fumbled to get his phone out of his pocket.

BOOM!

He heard a cracking laughter from the room and green smoke started pouring out.

"Yup…wait for it," Shoda said.

"HATSUME!" Power Loader's voice echoed through the room.

"That is our cue. Step back a little more," Midoriya said nervously. The pair stepped back a little far from the door.

She and Tenya followed their cue as they stepped back even more from the door.

BOOM!

A large piece of something flew out the opening and over the railing.

Then she heard coughing from the classroom.

"Okay…we can go in now," Shoda said with a nod.

"Hey, Mei! We're here!" Midoriya shouted.

"BABY DADDY!" Hatsume shouted as she jumped from the hole that was the Support department and tackled Midoriya to the ground.

"MEI! We talked about this!" Midoriya said as his face turned bright red. She turned away as well when she felt her own face turn red.

"AND YOU BROUGHT ME CLIENTS! YOU'RE THE BEST! OOOOHHH…You brought Lasers!" Hatsume said as she let go of Midoriya then tackled Shoda.

"No, Hatsume! We aren't adding lasers to my support items!" Shoda said as he struggled to get her off.

"Why not?"

"Because I say so…and I don't want to blow up."

"You're no fun," She said as she let go and looked toward them.

"Ohhh….Look! CLIENTS! COME! YOU FIRST HOT WHEELS!"

Hatsume grabbed Tenya's hand and pulled into the smoking room. Tenya looked slightly horrified at that thought. Maybe, she should save him…..

BOOM!

"HATSUME!" Tenya shouted.

Maybe not.

Midoriya got himself to his feet and dusted himself off.

"She is going to be like this for a bit," Midoriya said.

"She always likes this when she gets a new "client"," Shoda said with his fingers with air quotes.

"I know that she was on our team during the Cavalry battle but you guys seem close,'' she asked.

"I was just walking past the door when Boom! She landed on top of me," Midoriya said as he scratched the back of his head.

"with the door," Shoda said as he shook his head.

Midoriya made a painful noise. Shoda patted his classmate's shoulder.

"Ouch," She said with sympathy.

"After getting the door off of me, I asked what she was making…," Midoriya said.

Shoda shook his head.

"That was a mistake?" She said with a giggle.

"Yes. She dragged me into the Support Room with her babies," Midoriya said with a sigh.

"I thought that you were only going to be there for a moment but I ran inside when I heard you scream." Shoda said.

"She had me in some Iron Man type suit before I knew it. She started saying a million things and there were explosions. I kind of panicked."

"I shouted at her from under the table."

"You tried," Midoriya said with a sigh.

"Iron Man?" She asked.

"Pre-quirk superhero."

"That is what got you in trouble, Mido," Shoda said as he pointed his finger at his friend.

"I know…I know but it did! She felt that she was missing something and I pointed out that it was missing fingertip missiles launchers. She wanted accuracy! I studied all types of quirks even the pre-quirk era had some interesting ideas. I sort spilled everything about Iron Man. She was very impressed and scared," Midoriya said in a panic.

Shoda shook his head.

"I mean…it isn't a totally bad thing. Our research helped with your support item, Shoda! Batman was a great help with your Impact Location Recording Device especially the half visor."

"Okay…that is a good point. I do like it."

Midoriya beamed at Shoda.

BOOM!

More smoke rolled out from the opening.

"That reminds me. HEY, MEI! Have you figured out the Falcon 's jetpack yet?" He shouted into the smoke.

Hatsume popped her head out of the smoke.

"You're right. The fourth engine was too much but I did figure out how he made his wings into shields!"

"YES! Awesome."

Midoriya gave her a thumbs up. Hatsume beamed before disappearing back into the smoke.

"Unhand me…..AHHHH!" Tenya shouted.

She wondered if she should help him.

BOOM!

Maybe not….

"But it is really a side project. We have been working on a major one," He said.

"What is it?"

He glanced at the hole in the building then her and Shoda.

"You promise not to tell Tenya? We don't want to give him hope…"

She nodded her head. Shoda frowned at Midoriya before nodding his head too.

"I came across War Machine, who was a superhero that became paralysis after a battle. He was able to walk again but a lot of the technology was lost during the Quirk Wars. So…Mei and I are working on it. We aren't medical professionals but we are hoping to get a prototype into the right hands. Maybe…he could walk again…a lot of heroes can walk again." Midoriya mumbled.

She stared at him in surprise then she felt her heart melt.

That was the sweetest thing ever….even if they may not succeed but….

"Disney Princess…" Shoda mumbled softly.

BOOM!

"OKAY! You're done! You're next!" Hatsume said as she shoved terrified Tenya out of the smoking room then grabbed her arm.

"No…No…the others can go first," She said in a panic.

Hatsume just crackled.

She was doomed.

A/N: So...this turned out more cute than funny but hell, I still enjoy writing it. Thank you so much as well for lovely reviews, favorites, etc. I am so happy that you guys enjoy it. Interesting enough that I struggled for this series with is Izuku's hero name. So, you notice that I may have changed Deku to Midoriya if you were reading on AO3. I don't think that his hero name would be Deku if he was in Class 1-B. So, Mido or Midoriya will be used until I figured it out. So, read and review if you wish!
