"So beautiful." he delicately traced along the edge of her jaw, sharp eyes piercing deep into her own, sending shivers down her spine. He leaned in close, his hot breath washing over her lips, "Stay with me," he pleaded, lips grazing her own. She felt drunk off of him, panting and heavy lidded.

"But, I can't I-" his lips ghosted down her neck. "Perseus-" he nipped at her pulse point, her breath caught, her voice getting weaker. "Percy," she tried again.

"Please, stay" he whispered against her throat, grabbing onto her waist, arching herself against him.

She should tell him no. Tell him she has a family to get home to, that they'd miss her. That she has obligations to her work. But she knew it would all sound so hollow, for she only truly wanted him. Wasn't that right? What was she saying again? The room was spinning and her face felt hot.

He chuckled low in his throat, the deep sound ringing through his chest and into hers. "Shhh," he cooed against the shell of her ear before licking a filthy stripe down her throat. "Stay with me"

He whispered reverently against her collarbones, teasing the skin with his sharp teeth.

"Yes," she gasped, pressing close to him. "Yes," she repeated, pulling him in even closer.

"Yes?" he locked his dark gaze onto her own, he gave her a shark-like grin.

"Yes." She firmly stated. Trying to regain some semblance of control, she threaded her fingers into his locs, yanking him down onto her lips. She sucked his bottom lip into her mouth, tugging it with her teeth desperately. He collapsed against her, pressing her hard into a wall. A gasp escaped her on impact, he swallowed her air, taking and taking from her. He slowly licked his way into her mouth, tracing the ridgeds of her, tasting her, remembering her. She felt something hot coil within her, making her press closer to him, slithering her arms around his neck to hold him there, warm and aching, against her.

"Jackson!" A gruff voice called, rounding the corner and catching the couple in their scandalous position. Annabeth would be more worried if she didn't have this fog clouding her mind, her eyes blurring to the point where the entire room seemed to be underwater, but that didn't stop the buzzing in her ears.

"What?" He demanded, voice low and threatening. "Can't you see I'm busy?"

The unknown man rolled his eyes, "Well hurry up, you know what we're here for and it's not to- ehem, entertain some floozy."

Perseus snarled, baring his fangs- wait fangs?

Annabeth felt her heart catch in her throat, something was really wrong, but for some reason, she just couldn't focus. Everything was just too much, she felt like bugs were crawling across her skin, she couldn't breathe, it was too much-

"Annabeth?" Perseus looked at her worriedly, reaching up to pull her hair away from her face.

"Please don't touch me" she gasped, failing to fill her lungs with air. She pushed against his chest until he stumbled back.

"Woah, Annabeth it's okay!" He put his hands up in a surrender-type gesture. His eyebrows furrowed and he looked her up and down critically. "How much did you have to drink?"

"What?" Drink? What was he…?

Oh, my gods.

They were at a Halloween party, her dorky boyfriend wanted them to go out, they were wearing matching costumes. He, a vampire, and her, his victim. She remembered him zipping her into this dress, getting distracted, and almost not coming to the party. When they got here she remembered going off to play drinking games with Piper, and then not much else.

"Okay, let's get you home." He held his hand out, waiting for her signal that it was okay to touch her again. She always got a little panicky when she drank too much. She silently cursed herself in her head, how could she let this happen?

She took his hand gently, intertwining their fingers. "Can we sit for a little bit first?"

"Yeah, of course." Percy readily accepted, not at all questioning, despite the fact that she was just asking if they could head out earlier. He smiled at her softly, leading her to the nearest loveseat.

"Oh, and John?" Percy called back to the stranger, John. "Can you make the rounds without me? I need to take care of my girlfriend." He grinned sharply, clearly not forgetting John's earlier comment.

John audibly swallowed, "Sure, yeah I can do that. Sorry man." He scurried off, clearly going to go socialize with the rest of the swim team.

Percy helped her sit down before plopping down next to her. He gathered her hair up and put it up in a ponytail with the hair tie he kept around his wrist for her. He was sweet like that. She loved him a lot.

Percy laughed, "I love you too." He thumbed at her cheek, wiping nonexistent dirt off her face.

She looked at him quizzically, "I said that out loud?"

Percy looked at her worryingly again, "I didn't see you drink, when did this happen?"

"Piper." She admitted sadly, burrowing herself into his shoulder in embarrassment.

"Ah," he wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her into his lap. "So Piper is to blame."

"Yep, all her, not me. I am a perfect angel."

Percy snorted, "you're something alright." He caressed her hair back from her face before cradling her cheek in his hand. He gnawed at his bottom lip. "I'm sorry I didn't notice something was up with you sooner." He whispered, looking guilty.

She shook her head, "No, Percy. I'm okay, really. I overestimated myself a little tonight I'll admit-"

Percy gave her an amused look. "But I'm okay. I promise."

Percy let out a sigh through his nose. He pressed a sweet kiss to her forehead before tucking her head under his chin. "I'm never leaving you alone at a party again."

She snorted, "That's fair." She nuzzled her head into his neck, breathing him in. She could feel herself start to doze off. "Sorry for getting drunk," she mumbled.

"It's okay." She could hear the smile in his voice, he nudged her gently. "Come on, let's get you home. You need sleep."

She grumbled at him, wiggling closer, trying to steal some of his warmth in this cold room.

He sighed in mock defeat, lifting her up and cradling her to his chest as he made his way to the door. She vaguely heard him talking to Piper, telling her that they're heading out. She clung to him tighter as he walked them to his car.

"Love you," she tells him again, wanting him to know just how much she appreciated him.

"I love you too, Annabeth." He kissed the top of her curls and carefully put her in the passenger seat, buckling her in. She smiled at him sleepily as he got into the driver's seat. He took her hand and pressed a delicate kiss to her knuckles.

"Go to sleep," he demanded gently. He put the key in the ignition, starting the car. He directed the air vents to cool her before driving off. She let her head rest against the window, feeling the buzzing of the motor in her ears.

"Happy Halloween," She mumbled.

"Happy Halloween," he laughed in reply. He caressed her knuckles with his thumb until she finally fell asleep.
