When the humans banished the monsters to the Underground, 7 human sorcerers created the Barrier. Drawn to the Barrier, their second incarnations fell into the Underground. You are Frisk, a human, with a powerful soul, with your twin sister, Chara. You are the 7th and 8th humans to fall, and hopefully, the ones to unite the world in peace.

1. Prologue

*Long ago, two races ruled the surface.*

*HUMANS,*

*and MONSTERS.*

*One day, war broke out between the two races.*

*The monsters, were a powerful race, made entirely of magic.*

*because of their connection with magic, *

*However, the humans outnumbered the monsters, 10 to 1.*

*The monsters had lost, and with their defeat, came punishment.*

*The human leader, along with his 6 strongest comrades,*

*combined their souls, and created the Barrier.*

*So powerful, the monsters could never break through.*

*With the Barrier, they sealed the monsters into the Underground.*

*Many years later...*

*201X*

*A human with a striped sweater are seen climbing Mt. Ebott*

*They fall into a dark hole in the ground. Never to be seen again...*

*The smell of a new adventure, it fills you with determination.*

I am not going to abandon Gasttale, I will continue both stories at their own pace. Don't worry! I just have so many ideas for stories in my head, I just have to make them before they disappear! - SOM
