AN: Okay tbh I didn't really plan to write this. :) I just wanted to improve my crappy grades so I wouldn't fail XP.
Chapter 1 Random Encounters
Annabeth pov
Crying, I looked at the picture in my hands. Inside, Percy, my boyfriend and I were kissing on the beach when we started dating. That was the day the titan war ended and we won.
It was his birthday.
"Annie! You cannot just stay there all day!" Thalia, daughter of Zeus shouted. Instantly, I remembered where I was. I was in the Poseidon cabin, again wishing that my seaweed brain is still safe. 'Is he safe?', 'Will he survive in the roman camp?'. All these thoughts are running through my head right this moment. "What are you holding onto? Are you still thinking about that kelp head?" Thalia asked, looking at the picture, "You know he's gonna be fine."
Just recently I found out that there may be a possibility that my seaweed brain may be at the Roman camp. A few months ago, I went to the Grand Canyon with the hope to find him with the help of a one-shoed guy. Turns out, there were only three demigods by the name of Jason, Piper and Leo. After they went on their quest to find the bovine queen of Olympus, Hera, me and Piper started hanging out. From that, I found out that she had her memories tempered with using the mist, making her think that Jason was her boyfriend at the start so she understood my pain from a missing boyfriend. From then on, we started being friends.
Suddenly, a bright white light appeared and seemed to be sucking me and Thalia into it. We tried grabbing onto things to stop it dragging us into itself, but it was inevitable. A minute later, we found ourselves in a huge white room with extremely large people staring at us incredulously.
"Annabeth?!" I turned to find Piper, Jason and Leo standing behind us with hilarious expressions of confusion at which I would have laughed at if I wasn't drowning in confusion myself.
"Who are you?" the gods asked.
The Olympians (plus Hestia and Hades) pov
Winter Solstice
The gods were as usual arguing over petty things.
"Owl brain! Athens was supposed to be my city!"
"Kelp head! Sea water has no use!"
"You kidnapped my daughter, Hades!"
"Ares you little shit!"
Things like that were flying around the room with no particular purpose but pure spite for the person used on. The campers were cowering at the flashes of light and bolts of power blasted in random directions. Chiron stood protectively in front of them, not letting them get hit by the bolts.
Suddenly, a startling flash of bright white light filled the room. Four teenagers appeared from the light, one bearing the striking resemblance to one of the younger campers, but she had bloodshot eyes, a nice figure, sporty, tan with curly blond hair and stormy grey eyes that practically screamed intelligence. The other two girls were pretty, one with black hair and the other choppy brown hair, nice figures. The black-haired girl had lightning blue eyes. The brown-haired girl had gorgeous kaleidoscopic eyes which increased her already obvious beauty. However, it looked like she was trying to conceal her beauty to not draw attention.
The boys were opposites. One was blond, the other a brunette. One was tall and the other elf-like. One had startling blue eyes the other brown ones. All in all, it was shocking to see five completely unknown people standing right splat in the middle of the room. Another bright white light flashed, revealing a stack of books.
"Where did those books come from?!"
"Introduce yourselves!" Zeus boomed (AN: get it?).
A letter suddenly floated down from the ceiling, falling into the king of the god's hands.
Dear the gods and goddesses, Chiron and campers, demigods of the future,
Please introduce yourselves
"I am Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena."
"But I am Annabeth Chase, not you."
"Sorry, may I know what year it is?"
"It's 2005."
"Okay then, we are from the future, from 2010. Therefore, I am your future self. I'm guessing that we are here to inform you about the happenings in the future. Now, moving on."
"My name is Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus."
"But you're a tree!" Annabeth exclaimed with incredulity.
"A friend saved me." was all the answer she got in return, leaving her to ponder about the future.
"I am Jason Grace, son of Jupiter." somewhere in the background you could hear people wondering why a roman would be with the greeks and not attacking each other. Add that to the fact that Zeus broke the big three pact a second time with the same woman.
"I am Piper McLean, daughter of Aphrodite, charmspeaker."
"I am Leo Valdez, son of Hephaestus, fire user." 'Fire user?' was running through everyone's mind, since there were no fire users since the 1660s so this is a rare power to inherit from Hephaestus.
"Well, apparently, we are supposed to read 5 books together. Let's see, the series is Percy Jackson and the Olympians. The Lightning Thief, The Sea of Monsters, the Titan's Curse, the Battle of the Labyrinth and the Last Olympians," Athena commented when she read from the book titles. She had a bemused expression as no one from the futures on Olympus had the name of Percy Jackson. "I'm guessing that he may appear later to tell his story?"
"I'm sorry mother but we have no clue of that, as we have no notice of him since he was kidnapped and had his memories taken away from him by one of the goddesses here at present time," Annabeth informed Athena and the deities and campers present, glaring spitefully with sorrow in her eye at Hera. All the gods, future demigods, Chiron and the past campers were shocked that she had the guts to speak in this way to Hera, as if she hated her with a passion, even though she was a mortal and Hera a deity.
Though Annabeth said all these words with obvious hatred, anyone could see how much she was suffering from the disappearance of the mysterious Percy Jackson, all were wondering what was the importance of him to her. Even her past self, Annie, was wondering why she was so worried about this guy and how he could be better than Luke to cause this much pain in her future self. Everyone was pondering if he was someone important to her.
"Now, now, why don't we settle down for a moment?" Hestia questioned, trying to break the obvious tension between the queen and Annabeth. To be honest, everyone appreciated her efforts as the tension could be cut with a knife before.
Another bright white light filled the room, revealing five unknown people.
