This is simply my take on the Naruto story

This and the next chapter will not be as long as the others have been, after the next chapter is realised, there will be a couple of days where I will take my time, go back and edit my chapters. I'm going to refine them a bit, all the chapters should be refined when the next chapter comes out! (2nd chapter from now)

Chapter 2 - Childhood
Time skip 6 years
Naruto woke up and had a strange feeling, then he realized it was his sixth birthday, he jumped up in excitement, ran out to the bathroom, taking a quick shower and brushing his teeth. After he got himself dressed, he walked out of his room, down the stairs and into the kitchiching, he saw his father and mother smiling at him.
"Good morning dad and mum" said Naruto while yawning
"Good morning Naruto" Kushina and Minato replied with a big smile, Naruto walked into the living room
After a while Kushina called after Naruto "Naruto, time for breakfast, come and take a seat" and a few moments later Naruto came into the kitching and freezed when he looked at the table. There was a big birthday cake and some presents beside his chair, he brightened up and a big, big smile came across his face. Naruto took his seat and began eating his breakfast. Naruto had manners and was considered a prodigy or that's what Minato had told him, even though he was considered a prodigy, he still had his mother's outburst or temper and it sometimes slips.
Naruto opened his first present, this was from his father, when he opened it he freezed, it was his dad's three pronged kunai, but without his seal on it. He looked up at his dad with tears in his eyes, he hugged him and said "Thank you dad!" and Minato replied "Well, since you are 6 years old now, you will need to start training soon, in 2 years you will start in the academy and I think that that kunai will help you someday" when Naruto heard the last bit, his face lighted up and Kushina and Minato laughed at his reaction. Naruto knew that his dad would teach him the Hiraishin no jutsu (Flying Raijin Technique) that he was so known for, but he didn't know when. He opened his present from his mother he froze once again, it was some chakra control scrolls "Just like Minato told you, you will soon begin training and since you have the Kyuubi sealed inside you, you will need it"
Flashback
6 months ago
Naruto was asleep when he woke up in a sewer-like place, but it didn't smell. He heard something ahead of him and walked towards it, when he reached the place he froze and a chill came down his spine, he saw the orange-like fox and his eyes widened
"Looks like my host finally came to see me" said the Kyuubi in a annoyed and aggressive voice
"I have two questions, one, where am I? Second, who are you?" Naruto asked trying not to sound scared, but failed
"I will answer your first question, you are in you're minescape, a place where only you can be" he replied "As for your second question, I can sense you already know that answer"
"Ok-okay, so this is a place where only I can be in and you will be here? So are you the Kyuubi?" He asked and the Kyuubi nodded in response
"I have always heard stories about you, my parents told me that you attacked the village five and a half years back, is that true?" he asked again and the Kyuubi was taken aback at the question
"Yes... I did attack the village those years back, but I was controlled" the Kyuubi answered and he didn't like saying the last bit
"Okay, since you weren't in control, then the attack wasn't your fault, right? and what is your name? You do have a name beside 'Kyuubi', right?" Naruto asked and the Kyuubi was stunned and shocked at this, after ten seconds he nodded 'This kit is something else, maybe he is not like the others, there is something about him' he thought
"Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze, you are the first human to ever ask for my name and yes, I do have another name, it is 'Kurama'" he responded
"Well, nice to meet you Kurama" Naruto said while smiling "Will it be okay if I tell my parents about this meeting with you?" He asked and the Kyuubi(Kurama) answered "It will be a good idea if you do, but leave the name part out and remember, you can always find me again, this is your mind after all" he responded and a grin came across the Kyuubi's(Kurama's) face
"Okay, thanks for the talk" Naruto said smiling and cutted off the connection
"Mum, dad!" Naruto screamed, both Minato and Kushina rushed to him "What's wrong dear?" Kushina said
"Why didn't you tell me that the Kyuubi was sealed inside me?" Naruto questioned his parents and they were stunned by the news 'How did he find out?' they thought
His parents sat down and told him about the day he was born and how a masked man figure came and took control over the Kyuubi and how they 'fought' it. How the Sandaime sealed it inside him and why it was only him they could seal it inside. When they were finished Naruto nodded and understood why they did it, and then told them about his meeting with the Kyuubi's but left out the name part only because the Kyuubi(Kurama) said or more commanded him to do. They looked surprised over how well Naruto took it, and gave him a big family hug.
Flashback end
The rest of the day until the evening, there were a few guests, Tsunade, Kakashi and Jirraya came by and asked him a happy birthday, they gave him some presents. The day before Mikoto and Kushina meet at the park and talk for about an hour, and how they miss Hinata's mum, it was about 7 months ago when she died because of blood loss when she gave birth to Hinata's little sister Hanabi.
Naruto never went to the park due to Naruto's status as jinchuriki. His mother and father didn't want him outside the house walls and Naruto fully understands the reason behind it.
At dinner Naruto finally asked the question "Hey mum and dad?" Naruto questioned, they looked at him and Minato answered "Yes Naruto?"
"Well….. since I'm going to start at the academy in 2 years time, I was wondering if we could make some arrangements?" he asked, both Kushina and Minato were looking at him and Kushina answered "What arrangements are we talking about?"
"Well, when I get enrolled into the academy, can we maybe do so no one knows about me, about who my parents are? I don't wanna see anyone my age, because i'm might be in class with them, I don't wanna let them know who I am. Before you ask, let me say my reasoning" he said and they nodded in confusion and he continued "I don't wanna get special treatment by any teather, student or parent, I don't wanna be famous because of who my dad is, no offense dad, I want to be known for my skills and hard work." he finished and both Kushina and Minato was stunned, they knew he was smart and considered a prodigy and all, but this was beyond that.
It took them some time to come over the shocking news, but Minato finally answered "Okay Naruto, if that's what you want, then let it be then" Minato said and both him and Kushina smiled at Naruto as a big smile came across his face, 'He will become a great and fine shinobi and even hokage if he wants to be that' both Minato and Kushina thought
The following weeks Naruto started his training with his parents and he set the bar. Naruto starts out with some physical training and finish the training off by reading scrolls about the history of Konoha (Hidden Leaf Village) and about chakra control, he first thought that chakra control was something they learned in the academy, but Kushina and Monato both told him, that because he had larges chakra reserve in the entire village, that he needed to start early with it. He thought that because of the large chakra reserve was the Kyuubi fault, but Kurama (The Kyuubi) told him, that it was not his fault he had such a large reserve, but he was born with it because of him being an Uzumaki but also told that due to Kurama being sealed, and that he was using a good amount of his chakra to hold the seal in place.
After hearing the news from Kurama, he was more than just shocked and now understood why he needed chakra control so early, after nine months of training, reading scrolls, Kushina and Minato finally taught him something he was going to learn at the academy, but they thought that he should learn it now.
They quickly found out that Naruto could not do the Clone Technique because of his chakra reserves, so Minato and Kishina both agreed on teaching him the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu(Shadow Clone Technique) insted, they were jet again shocked by the amount of clones he made in his first try, they asked him just to make it with a normal amount of chakra and it made forty solid clones. After two days of intense chakra control training, he can now make one at will. After 12 months of training both in chakra control, jutsu, physically and a bit of sealing, he saw his dad's study room not being locked and walk into it, he found some jutsu scrolls, his eyes was locked on the Tajū Kage Bunshin no Jutsu(Multi Shadow Clone Technique), and found out that unlike the Clone Technique, shadow clones are physically real and possess the same clothing, transformations and any damage the user have, as the user at the time of their creation. Most tools and weaponry are copied when the shadow clones are created. But his eyes widened when he found out that once the clone is dispersed, the clone's experiences and remaining chakra will be transferred back to the original user.
After learning about the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu(Shadow Clone Technique) use and abilities, he tried to find his dad.
"Hey dad?" Naruto asked "Yes my son?" Minato replied walking towards him, "Well… I may or may not have been in your study room but you already knew that-'' Minato nodded "Well I came across the Kage Bunshin no Jutsu(Shadow Clone Technique) and the Tajū Kage Bunshin no Jutsu(Multi Shadow Clone Technique) and their abilities, but will their experiences and remaining chakra will be transferred back into the user?" Naruto asked and Minato could only nod in response. There were a few moments of silence but Naruto broke it "Are you not mad at me? I walked into your study room after all…" he asked "No son, it was my fault that it was open in the first place and I was going to teach you nearly all the scrolls in there but when the time comes" he answered but continued after seeing Naruto's face brighten up after the information he just gaved "But next time, try not to go in there even if the door is not locked" he finished and Naruto nodded in response
A few months has past since the his little look inside his dad study room and it was the day before, Minato, Kushina and Naruto walked together towards the Hokage tower and it was at night, they day before Minato asked Iruka Umino who will be Naruto's Academy teacher that he would like to meet him at his office the next evening to talk about a new student and he accepted it.
Minato, Kushina and Naruto all arrived at the Hokage office ten minutes before their meeting with Iruka Umino. Naruto was excited to meet his teacher. Just a few minutes before their meeting, both Minato and Kushina told Naruto to stand beside them because he was all over the place, looking at the previous hokages and outside the window.
Iruka Umino meet the hokages secretary and was standing there, a few minutes passed and he was allowed inside the hokage's office, he was surprised to see both the Yondaime and his wife Kushina there, but he was in shock to see a little version of the Yondaime standing beside them, everyone in the village knew that the Yondaime and his wife Kushina had a child, but only a few had seen him. Before he could speak Minato spoke to him.
"Hello Iruka Umino, as you can see I would like to speak about a new student in the Ninja Academy" he said
"O-oh, yes hokage-sama" Iruka answered still in shock
"Calm down Iruka" Minato said quickly
"S-Sorry Hokage-sama, is that the student we talked about?" he responded
"Yes,this is my son, Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze and would start at the academy tomorrow, he is already enlisted in your class, but the reason is you are here today is because of this" he said while giving him the list over his students
"Why is he only listed here as 'Naruto' and not 'Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze' Hokage-sama or is this the thing we will talk about now? Iruka asked and Minato nodded
"Yes, my son told me that-" Minato started to explain about his and Naruto's conversation and finished off with "-so that is why his name in the protocol is only 'Naruto'." Iruka was stunned by Naruto's reasoning but it was well thought out and now understood why the Yondaime wanted to talk to him.
"Yes, I understand why he didn't want to be recognized by his parents" Iruka said with a smile and chuckled a bit
Both Kushina and Minato laughed at this, after a few moments of laughing Naruto spoke up
"I look forward to receive teaching from you Iruka-sensei" Naruto said and bowled
"I also look forward to teach you Naruto Uzumaki-Namikaze" Iruka said, Minato and Kushina both smiled and Minato thought 'He will be a great student, and maybe surpass me'
After a few minutes of Naruto, Minato, Kushina and Iruka talking, Iruka said "Well, I would go now, I need some sleep, Naruto-" Iruka said getting everyone's attention and continued "if you could meet me outside the classroom, just before the class starts, it would be great" he finished
"That sounds good Iruka-sensei" Naruto replied and smiling at him
After that Iruka walked home and a few minutes after Naruto, Minato and Kushina walked home as well, Naruto needs his sleep and need to get ready for his first class.
Author's Note: This chapter is very late and i'm sorry for the delay! The next chapter will be posted in about four to five days and I will begin to post more and more chapters. In a few weeks my exams are done and I will have a long summer break and in that time, I will post all the chapters I can!
