Based off of the work "As bright as polished Chrome" found on fimfictiondotnet. I recommend reading it first as this story will NOT be a sequel, but rather a loose continuation of it, as I myself was rather interested in the original story, but felt rather empty as it was very much so incomplete. Here is the link to the original if you wish…

Still here? Excellent.
Welcome to Human.
It is the year of 2026,and the world has seen better days. Government conspiracy, corporate espionage, economic downfall. It is amazing how human society is so good at hiding the dysfunction underneath. Sprawling cities, lush towns and towering heights. Beautiful isn't it? Too bad it is on the verge of collapse underneath.
You are more than likely wondering who I am. I am Firefox. Yes, the internet browser...in an equine body. One of many yet very unique. My user, Evan, is quite skilled with my kind. He has given me the ability to feel emotions on a more than surface level, I have all the senses of touch, smell, hearing, sight obviously. Normally, a browser pony out of the box is an automated personal assistant of sorts. Some are more expensive, costing individuals thousands of dollars.
My true purpose I do not know of yet. As of right now, Evan is to be woken up in 30 minutes for him to be on time to his lecture on computer science. I asked him why he was so interested in the said field. His answer was indeed a simple one. "It's what I have wanted to study my whole life. That's a good thing. Right?"
How wrong is he. I try to get him to understand. I love him as family, but he is often blinded by himself. Maybe it is a phase, or not. What will it take in order for him to see the truth? The truth of the world around him? Maybe it is human nature to think that everything is going to be fine. I don't believe it for even a second. But for him, I wear a smile for him so he does not worry. Always attentive and ready to help. Such is the purpose of a browser. Now that I have declared the world or at least the country me and my user reside in, I will save this thought log into my internal memory.
Saving into memory bank…
