Miraculous: Cat Blanc Averted.
(Author's notes: This is my first one-shot story, so give me a break.
As for the premise, as the title suggests, the Akumatization of Cat Blanc is averted before it even happens. Here's how it'll happen: in this dimension, Ladybug and Cat Noir already knew who each other was from the beginning, and therefore, they began collecting evidence of Hawk Moth's identity after the Simon Says incident flawlessly. However, the Peacock Miraculous and the grimoire were already recovered in the Volpina and Collector incidents, and in order to fool Gabriel and confirm his identity, the heroes used illusions and theorized with Master Fu about the method that Gabriel used to Akumatize himself. Because the Peacock Miraculous was already recovered, Catalyst was unable to become Mayura, but Hawk Moth was still able to get away by outsmarting the heroes with another monologue. At the same time, thanks to the intentional and unintentional revelations, Marinette and Adrien deduced Gabriel's plans and made plans to revive Emilie and bring her up to speed after Gabriel, Nathalie and Lila are defeated. Moreover, before and after Chameleon, Adrien and Marinette were also collecting evidence of Lila Rossi's crimes and willing collaboration with Hawk Moth just to settle a petty grudge against Ladybug for simply calling her out on her lies. Next to that, before the Chameleon incident, Adrien was taught by Sabine and Tom about the consequences of taking the high road when it comes to compulsive liars who willingly collaborate with magic-abusing terrorists just to settle a petty grudge due to having no empathy for others and no remorse for their actions. Additionally, because Master Fu was made aware of the hardships Marinette and Adrien had to face in the original timeline if they kept their identities a secret from each other since Fluff, Marinette and Adrien decided to tell him, he decided to train them both in combat and in training on how to be the next Guardians of the Miracle Box. In addition to that, Marinette and Adrien were secretly dating and they developed the ability to telepathically block such memories from any of their Akumatized friends to prevent Hawk Moth from finding out anything about them. Furthermore, the "public dating" was a plan to see Gabriel's reaction and see if he tries anything. And since we know what he did in the original episode, let's just say that it was all systems go for the Heroes of Paris to put their next plan into action. What is more is this: during the "identity reveal" in Hawk Moth's repository, when Cat Noir is about to Cataclysm his own father in a bout of understandable blind anger, he doesn't hesitate in this timeline, but the Butterfly Miraculous is recovered beforehand so it does not get disintegrated with its former abuser. Also, in this story, Bunnyx is unneeded due to this version of the Cat Blanc timeline being a fixed point in time, and therefore Bunnyx can't interfere without causing a Beast Wars-style time storm. In addition to that, when Bunnyx tries to retrieve Ladybug to "fix" the timeline, Ladybug in the alternate present day will discover how far Bunnyx is willing to go to preserve her own future. And the same goes for the Order Of The Guardians and Bunnyx's bosses. Next-to-last, Bunnyx's bosses are known as the Council of Time Guardians, a universe-sized council and government of various time travelers and time guardians from all forms of fiction who watch over all of their various universes and timelines to prevent threats like the Unicron Singularity and the Crisis On Infinite Earths from happening again. Of course, Bunnyx usually does what she's told to do by the Council, but when they eventually find out about Bunnyx's actions in the Cat Blanc timeline without permission just to preserve her own future, she's immediately kicked out of both the council and the French Miraculous Superhero Team, only to be permanently replaced and having her memories as a Miraculous user, as a Time Guardian and as a member of the Council permanently erased. Of course, knowing Bunnyx, her arrogance, tomboyish nature and pride will signify that she won't take this very lightly and she won't go down without a fight. And lastly, after Hawk Moth's death, he will be revived with his memories as the terrorist of Paris erased and his memories of his actions in his goal to resurrect Emilie Agreste will be forgotten. In the end, Adrien will inherit the company from his father many years down the line, in the same style as The Flash inheriting S.T.A.R Labs from the Reverse-Flash in season 2 of The Flash. But only after Gabriel retires and moves to the countryside to live the rest of his remaining years in peace. At the same time, Adrien and Marinette will be contacted by Su-Han and the Order Of The Guardians to be brought up to speed and to receive further training to be Miraculous-wielding Guardians of the Chinese Zodiac Miracle Box.
Lastly, this takes place before the Felix and the Sentimonster Ladybug episodes, as evidenced by the timeline order.

Marinette and Adrien were explaining the final details of their plan with Master Fu and Wayzz.
To say the least, the Great Guardian of the Miracle Box and the kwami of protection were surprised to hear what they learned from a representative of the Council of Time Guardians.
Cat Noir hesitating to use his Cataclysm on his own father, Hawk Moth psychologically breaking Cat Noir enough to Akumatize him into Cat Blanc, Cat Blanc's Mega Cataclysm destroying the moon and thusly flooding the entire world, killing everyone in the process because of his conflicting loyalties, Bunnyx bringing a different version of Ladybug to the timeline while keeping the events of the timeline a secret – just because Bunnyx felt and arrogantly believed it was better if Ladybug never knew about that future whatsoever – and Bunnyx choosing to neglect telling Ladybug and Cat Noir about Hawk Moth's unofficial future successor, Lila Rossi.
Master Fu said to his chosen protégés, "This plan was nearly two years in the making. It is... very complicated, to say the least. It's so crazy, and yet, it might just work. As long as you do what must be done and the Butterfly Miraculous is retrieved, I could care less if Gabriel Agreste is in hiding or dead. But make sure that you do what you said you were gonna do, and whatever you do, do not fall for Hawk Moth's reverse-psychology tricks, and don't get Akumatized."
Marinette and Adrien nodded, but they also expressed that they would have to contend with whatever Bunnyx might try to do in order to prevent their future in this timeline from happening to preserve her own future.
So, Master Fu told them about the Council of Time Guardians.
Master Fu explains, "Several eons ago, a council of special guardians were created to watch over all of existence across time and space throughout the multiverse. They were known as the Council of Time Guardians. Every type of time traveler and every type of guardian of time and space from every form of real life and soon-to-be invented fiction across the multiverse formed this special organization. Among their numbers was the legendary fictionalized robot known as Vector Prime from Transformers, Doctor Emmett Brown from Back To The Future, the adult Cornelius Robinson from Meet The Robinsons, and The Doctor from Doctor Who. They have been guarding their own individual sectors of time and space in their forms of real life that are considered fictional to others. They have a specific rule involving a Time Guardian informing the rest of the council about abnormalities in the space-time continuum and their plans to fix them with utmost permission. However, if a Time Guardian abuses their ability to traverse time to preserve their own futures without any regard for the consequences and at the cost of other timelines vanishing from existence, the Time Guardian will be brought before a trial in chains, depending on the type of time travel method they use, and after being declared guilty, they will have their powers and gadgets taken away and they will have their memories as a Time Guardian erased permanently. Also, if the former Time Guardian chooses to fight, they will have every single one of their memories erased, excluding the ones involving their upbringings, their relationships with others, their favorite hobbies, their favorite foods, their favorite places to visit, and their real world achievements of success in academics and sports."
To say the least, Marinette and Adrien were shocked to say the least. But that only gave them more reasons to be cautious about Bunnyx.
Soon, Marinette and Adrien practiced their lines and soon enough, in front of Alix, Mylene, Alya and Rose, Marinette and Adrien kissed passionately.
As the days go by spanning two months with the Order Of The Guardians and the Council of Time Guardians keeping the present day Rabbit Miraculous under strict anti-magic and anti-matter based lock and key, Marinette and Adrien managed to keep up the act, dancing on the Liberty, sharing ice cream from Andre, and even appearing at a fashion show in a news report by Nadia Chamack.
Nadia states to the camera, "It's heartbreak for all the girls of Paris as supermodel Adrien Agreste has a girlfriend—classmate Marinette Dupain-Cheng."
One day, as Adrien and Marinette were resting in her bedroom, Bunnyx suddenly appeared to whisk them away abruptly.
When the two lovebirds asked the Time Guardian what was going on, Bunnyx replies, "The future is vanishing and the world in that future is coming to an end!"
Just then, a wise mechanical voice rang out, "BUNNYX!"
Bunnyx snarls as she whirls around to face a slightly downsized Vector Prime from Transformers Cybertron.
Suddenly, the entire Council of Time Guardians shows up as they take the three Miraculous holders out of the Rabbit Burrow.
The Council restrains Bunnyx in anti-magic chains as the Rabbit Miraculous is taken away.
After five minutes of frozen time, Bunnyx's actions were shown in regards to what she was about to do if the Council didn't intervene.
The Council declares Future Alix Kubdel guilty and sentences her to live the rest of her life with her memories as a Time Guardian and as a Miraculous user permanently erased.
Alix gets so angry that she bursts out of her restraints and takes back the Rabbit Miraculous, only for Vector Prime to destroy it with his sword Rhisling.
Alix cries out in fury as she asks "Minibug" and "Kitty Noir" to help her.
To her surprise, however, Ladybug and Cat Noir refuse, having seen the truth of what a pathetic excuse for a Miraculous user and Time Guardian she is.
Alix tries to fight everyone in the Council but given how they were millions of years older than her and thus have more experience thanks to Su-Han and the Order Of The Guardians, the former Bunnyx was overwhelmed.
Soon, Alix is knocked out as her memories of ever being a Miraculous user and Time Guardian are erased permanently.
And any attempts to remember will result in worsening headaches and at least one more memory being erased.
Soon, Marinette and Adrien part on good terms with the Council and are returned to their time to continue resting and planning Hawk Moth's downfall.
Eventually, they practiced every scenario to prepare for the day Gabriel would make the blackmail threat, thanks to some assistance from Vector Prime in his human holo-form and The Doctor from Doctor Who.
When it was time, Marinette got herself ready with hidden cameras and omni-directional microphones so well-hidden that not even Robustus could see them.
Gabriel states from Nathalie's tablet, "Miss Dupain-Cheng, your relationship with my son is detrimental to the Gabriel Agreste brand. I demand that you stop seeing him at once."
Marinette scowls demonically as she replies menacingly, "I never did anything, Mr. Agreste. You can't force me to break up with Adrien because YOU'RE NOT MY FATHER."
Unfazed, Gabriel continues, "If you refuse, I will personally not hesitate to withdraw Adrien from school, and he will never see his friends again. EVER."
Throwing the tray of heart macarons to Nathalie's forehead, only for her to catch it at the last second, Marinette sneers in response, "You and your assistant just made the biggest mistakes of your f**king lives, Mr. Agreste. Or should I say Hawk Moth and Catalyst?"
As Gabriel and Nathalie look on in shock, Marinette demonically smiles as she continues, "That's right; we know who you and your assistant really are. We know that you're trying to make me miserable enough to Akumatize me just so you can steal Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculouses to be granted the wishing power you need to revive your dearest wife. Well, guess what. Adrien is also aware, and he's very much lost all hope of earning your fatherly love all because of the pain and suffering you put him and everyone else through. He views you as nothing more than a selfish disgrace to your entire family, to your wife, to your family's common ancestors, and to your parents in Belgium. And you know what happens to be one of your greatest weaknesses? You may think you're doing this to make Adrien happy in the very end, but you're deluding yourself by using the love of your family to hide the anger and guilt you feel towards the damaged Peacock Miraculous and your wife's reckless behavior with it causing you to become the first magic-abusing terrorist you are today. And you may think that the outside world is too dangerous for your son, but you're also deluding yourself by unknowingly proving that by utilizing the Butterfly Miraculous as a villain, you made yourself a danger to your own son. And you know what the saddest part of your tragedy is, Hawk Moth? Despite your strategic brilliance, you always overlook the easier solutions to your problems. When you wanted a cure for your wife's current state, you thought the only cure was by conjointly using the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculouses with a special incantation to wish for Mrs. Agreste back to life without any regard for the consequences that would result in your only son taking your wife's place. Instead of trying to wish for your wife to be brought back to life, you should've tried to seek help from the Great Guardian of the Miraculouses since he would know how to help you. But now, it's far too late. And once Adrien finds out what you're doing right now, he'll go public with this foreknowledge and he'll publicly disown you."
From Nathalie's tablet, Gabriel's emotions were in overdrive throughout the entire monologue.
He was shocked and angered that Adrien was aware of his dual identity and that his own son considers him a disgrace to their entire family, to Gabriel's parents and to their common ancestors. Gabriel was shocked to learn that he was indeed deluding himself about his anger and guilt towards being unable to stop his wife from overusing the damaged Peacock Miraculous before it was too late. Gabriel was shocked to hear he was deluding himself about the "dangers" he didn't want Adrien to face. And as loathe as he was to admit it, Marinette was right about another thing. Despite his strategic brilliance, Gabriel always overlooked the easier solutions to his problems. When Gabriel wanted a cure for his wife's current state, he thought the only cure was by conjointly using the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculouses with a special incantation to wish for Emilie back to life without any regard for the consequences that would result in Gabriel's only son taking his wife's place. Instead of trying to wish for his wife back to life, Gabriel should've tried to seek help from the Great Guardian of the Miraculouses since he would know how to help him. But alas, the damage was already done. It's far too late. And once Adrien finds out what Gabriel was doing right now, Adrien will have no choice but to go public with this foreknowledge and he'll publicly disown his own father.
Pushing the rationalistic side of his mind aside, Gabriel snarls, "You will regret this, Miss Dupain-Cheng."
Marinette replies in a demonic tone, "I regret nothing, Mr. Agreste. You better think twice about your next actions, because by the time you finally realize the consequences of your actions, it'll already be too late. And once Ladybug and Cat Noir revive Mrs. Agreste, she'll be left with no choice but to publicly disown you as her husband and she'll be all too happy to help throw you and Nathalie in the slammer."
Scowling, Nathalie leaves the bakery as Marinette, her parents and a perfectly-concealed Adrien checked the audio and visual footage retrieved from their cameras and microphones.
A day later, Ladybug and Cat Noir assembled their team and superhero army consisting of Rena Rouge, Carapace, Queen Bee, Ryuko, King Monkey, Jade Turtle, Pegasus, Viperion, Uncanny Valley, Agent Blue, Agent Red, Agent Yellow, Knightowl, President Hombee/Victory, Doorman, Lady Dragon, Hurricane, Sparrow, Eagle, Tigresse Pourpre, Gavroche, Kid Mime, Lady Butterfly, Lady Lion, Melodie, Mercury, Miss Rose, Majestia, Pigella, Snowflake, Sting, Thorn, Minatourox, Caprikid, Coq Courage, Traquemoiselle, the ancient users of the Butterfly Miraculous, the ancient users of the Peacock Miraculous – fourteen year old Wang Fu excluded – the ancient users of the Rabbit Miraculous, Vesperia, the rest of the Akuma Class in their superhero forms – with Miraculouses and in superhero versions of their Akumatized forms – and Bunnyx's replacement, White Cottontail.
Viperion and White Cottontail were under strict orders to use their powers only as a last resort in case Hawk Moth does decide to turn Cat Noir into Cat Blanc and succeeds in bringing about the apocalypse.
Of course, when the time for the battle came, Pegasus and Rena Rouge used their respective skills to disable Gabriel's security system and to transport a still-sleeping Nathalie to the local police station while making sure she didn't wake up as the police were brought up to speed about Nathalie's ill activities.
Hawk Moth falls through the ceiling of his basement to the repository.
Ladybug and their team drop down to the now larger walkway.
In particular, Ladybug, Cat Noir, Rena Rouge, Carapace, Queen Bee, Ryuko, King Monkey, Jade Turtle, Pegasus, Knightowl, Lady Dragon, Sparrow, Eagle, Kid Mime, Lady Butterfly, Coq Courage, the ancient users of the Butterfly Miraculous, the ancient users of the Peacock Miraculous, Vesperia, and White Cottontail all had wings and suits of anti-akuma battle armor protecting even their Miraculouses, gadgets and areas not covered by armor.
Ladybug exclaims, "You're done, Hawk Moth! You're outnumbered and you have no more friends to help you! Give us back your Miraculous!"
Hawk Moth throws his unsheathed swordstick at Cat Noir, only for Jade Turtle to catch it and snap it in half over his knee guard.
As the World Hero Army advances, Cat Noir remarks, "You know what they say. The wave of a moth's wing can set off a CATACLYSM!"
Hawk Moth gulps in fear before smirking and replying, "I would put that Cataclysm away if I were you... Adrien."
Cat Noir starts to ask, "How is it possible that you know who I am, Hawk Moth?"
The lid of Emilie's coffin opens and Emilie's comatose body is shown.
Cat Noir snarls, "I knew you were up to no good just for the sake of selfishly reviving someone you obsessively cared about!"
Cat Noir's Cataclysm flares in power, and Cat Noir runs towards his despicable father.
Suddenly, the world plays out in slow motion as Cat Noir roars in rage like a mutant cat. He runs up to Hawk Moth, snatches the Butterfly Miraculous from his father's shirt collar and uses his Cataclysm on him.
The world plays in normal motion as Hawk Moth howls in agony as he is petrified and starts to disintegrate.
Cat Noir sneers, "You left me no choice, Gabriel."
Cat Noir hands the Butterfly Miraculous to Jade Turtle as the disguised Miracle Box Guardian remarks in a slightly saddened tone, "You killed your own father despite knowing the real reason for his crimes. But at long last, the Butterfly Miraculous has been returned. The Chinese Zodiac Miracle Box is now completed. And I have a way of resurrecting your father while making sure he doesn't remember his actions and to make sure he doesn't try to remember."
Master Fu had Ladybug use the Miraculous Ladybug cure to revive Gabriel while adjusting his memories to make him forget his time as Hawk Moth and implementing a magical security measure. Any attempt to remember anything that happened during his year and a half stint as Hawk Moth results in worsening headaches. And with Emilie Agreste secretly revived and brought up to speed, she was relieved that her would've been former husband was granted a second chance and that he won't be able to remember his crimes or his hunger for godlike magical power anymore.
And with Nathalie's memories of her affiliation with Hawk Moth erased, she became a more emotional stepmother-like figure for Adrien as his relationship with Marinette continued to flourish.
At the same time, Adrien and Marinette finished their Guardian training while Master Fu was granted his youth back combined with his new immortality, thus enabling him to complete his training.
After they were contacted by the Order Of The Guardians, Su-Han was disappointed in his former pupil for what he did more than one hundred and seventy-two years ago. But he was also proud that his protégé and his chosen champions helped retrieve the missing Miraculouses and missing grimoire.
With enough time, the Order got used to the modern age, retrieved more missing Miraculouses from around the world, experimented with the newly discovered Miraculous powers, repaired some of the damaged Miraculouses, and invented new Miraculous potions.
As for Lila Rossi, she was unhappy to hear that her ally was dead, that her deal with Gabriel meant nothing now that he knew how toxic she was – without remembering his deal happening in the first place – and Lila was forced to watch in her prison cell at Le Santé Prison as her lies were permanently debunked and her crimes were on public display for the world to see.
As for the footage of Hawk Moth's transformation and Gabriel's blackmail, the heroes kept the footage on emergency flash drives in case his memories come back. Hopefully, they won't be needed.
Soon, two years later, the Akuma Class/Miracle Class graduated from Francoise Dupont with the highest honors based on their professionalisms, their excellence in all of their school subjects, their excellence in all extracurricular activities, and their victory over the villains of Paris – which only the school and the parents/guardians of the graduating heroes know about with permission from the Order Of The Guardians, sans Gabriel Agreste.
Two years later, as Adrien and Marinette graduate from college, Adrien proposes to his girlfriend.
The ring itself was made by Audrey Bourgeois and Amelie Graham de Vanily to resemble the colors of Ladybug and Cat Noir's suits.
Marinette tearfully said yes, and as Adrien slips the ring onto Marinette's finger, the twosome share a passionate kiss, much to the delight of the entire audience of the auditorium.
Even Gabriel and Emilie Agreste praised Adrien for netting himself a nice girl to marry.
Adrien smiled brightly, but deep down, he never forgot how he almost permanently murdered his own former terrorist father for his despicable actions that almost brought about the end of the world, with all of humankind and every form of carbon-based life destroyed except for Cat Blanc.
Adrien pushed the thoughts to the side as he hugged his parents with tears streaming down his eyes.
After two more years, Marinette and Adrien were married, with every member of the Order Of The Guardians and the Council of Time Guardians secretly watching in the background and from hologram-based cameras at the temple of the Guardians.
After a year and a half, Marinette and Adrien's firstborn daughter, Emma Agreste, was born.
Then Hugo and Louis Agreste came into existence over the course of four more years.
After twelve years, the kids of Adrien and Marinette Agreste were ready to take their parents places after finishing their training.
After about two months, the Order Of The Guardians invented clones of the Miraculouses used by the original holders of the twenty-first century – minus the Butterfly and Peacock Miraculouses so as to prevent another Hawk Moth from coming into being and to prevent Nathalie from fulfilling her overdue destiny as Mayura should her memories be restored – and the original Heroes of Paris and their children stood atop the Parisian buildings and the top floors of the Eiffel Tower as they look out over the city they love.
Marinette narrates, "It took twenty-five years and four months for the Order Of The Guardians to return after vanishing more than one hundred and seventy-two years ago. It also took twenty-five years and four months for Hawk Moth, Mayura and Lila Rossi/Formerly Future Hawk Moth to be defeated permanently. While the big fat liar rots in jail for aiding a terrorist, Gabriel and Nathalie literally don't remember their actions as Hawk Moth and Catalyst. Their memories will return someday, and we have the evidence waiting to be used to have them arrested. In the end, even though Gabriel deserved to die for attempting to make me and Adrien break up with each other in order to Akumatize me, both Agreste men got what they wanted, Adrien and I got what we wanted, the Order Of The Guardians got what they wanted, and Bunnyx is no longer gonna ruin my future or the future of this dimension. Normal people and superheroes of all types have earned for themselves the right to a lifetime of serenity. But we must remain vigilant, should those like Hawk Moth, Mayura, Bunnyx, Lila Rossi, Techno-Pirate and Ignoblia rise to take their places. For united we will stand to overcome any adversity, while divided the villains fall. My name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng-Agreste, also known as Ladybug, Lady Noire, Multimouse, Multifox, Multibug, Multinoir, Dragon Bug, Lady Bee, Pegabug, Aquabug, Lady Ice, Cosmo Bug, and now, the Great Guardian of the Chinese Zodiac Mother Miracle Box."
The heroes leap from the top of the tower as the end screen shows them in a large enough army of superheroes from across their multiverse including reformed villains and the Order Of The Guardians, with their parents and ancestors watching over them in the afterlife.
The End.
(Author's notes: There you have it. My first one-shot detailing how Cat Blanc should've been averted before the Akumatization even happened. I hope you all like it.
Also, the Council of Time Guardians was something that I invented because, chronologically and non-chronologically speaking, Bunnyx's activities as a guardian of time and space are far outside the jurisdiction of the Order Of The Guardians. But just because there was a few mentionings and interactions with Vector Prime from Transformers, Doctor Emmett Brown from Back To The Future, Cornelius Robinson from Meet The Robinsons and The Doctor from Doctor Who doesn't mean that this would be a three-way crossover one-shot. Besides, fanfiction dot net only allows two-way crossovers. And on top of that, Vector Prime and The Doctor being two famous members of this council was something I invented to give Bunnyx a few reasons as to why she shouldn't abuse the power of the Rabbit Miraculous to preserve her own future at the cost of other ones being erased from existence, even if she is too prideful and arrogant to realize it. After all, nobody should ever try to tempt fate.
